Emma's face fell, "Really? Aww, that's too bad...I heard that the clams in the lake help the students or something, and I thought she might have been cured by now."

"Oh, well, thanks anyways," she added with a small smile. With that, she grabbed her bag and headed out the door. "Bye Professor, thanks again!"

Josh knocked on alex's door as he then pushed it open to pop his head inside. " Hello professor." he said as he then moved to come in all the way. He was still wondering about that candy of hers. She never did explain it. " Um.. professor i thought you might want to see this." he told her as he then explained." their is animals all over the grounds."

Alex grinned as her soon-to-be adopted son came into her office, "Hello Josh dear, how are you?"

"Animals all over the grounds you say?" she asked wrinkling her forhead, "Could they be our missing students?"

Josh smiled at alex as called him."hello alex." he said to her as he grinned. The missing kids." Thats what a few other students where thinking. I mean.. we found a panther in the entrance hall." he then chuckled." I was playing with it, i had a great time." he smiled at her.

Alex frowned, "We dont know if these students can think with their brain or the animals, please becareful around them." Getting to her feet Alex snagged a piece of candy from under her desk and popped it in her mouth. "Come on Josh, I'm going to see what I can do about those animals, maybe we can... corral them somewhere to keep them from hurting anyone."

He smiled at her and nodded." i'll be careful i promise." he assured her as he then stared at her as she ate candy. Eh nevermind. he nodded at her as he grinned." i know they are students, but can we stun them.. or petrify them? it would be easier." he told her as he then followed her.

Alex sighed, "I dont think we should, I dont know the effects a spell like that could have on a student that's been transformed in that way."

Darn. he was ready for some target practice. it was just stunning spells after all. its not like it was going to hurt any of them." lets get going. before someone else gets eaten." he teased as he grinned. He then moved out of her office and started on the hunt for more crazy loonies.

Alex gulped as she followed Josh out the door, "Someone else?" she called after him as she locked the door and headed down the hall.

Alex returned to her office and plopped down in her chair. Most of the animals had been found and returned to normal, so now was Alex's relaxing time.

Josh walked to alex's door as he stared at it. he then moved to knock on the door as he chuckled a little. he still wondered why she had all that candy. he then waiting for her to let him in. Really he could probably bust in and be okay, but it was still polite.

"Come on in." Alex called towards the door.

Josh heard alex's voice as he pushed the door open. he smiled as he closed the door behind him." have any candy behind your desk?" he teased as he then moved to stick his hands into his pockets. " erh well i just wanted to talk about this summer. I really had only one thing planned and so i was going to run it past you. i didnt know what you had planned..." he paused as he asked." this is how it is suppose to go right?" this whole parent thing was new to him.

Alex gritted her teeth and stood as Josh brought up the candy thing again. If this boy was going to be living with her, he may aswell know. "If you must know Josh, yes I do have candy behind my desk." she said reaching under and slamming down a handful of chocolate frogs on the desk, "And if you must know whats in them, its anti-wrinkle cream cause I'm old." she finished, the last word uttered with a hiss as she leaned across her desk.

She plopped back down in her seat with a moody look on her face, "Go ahead Josh, tell the poor, old woman what you'll be doing this summer." she said miserably.

Josh stared at her as he bit his lip. Whoops..he watched her as the desk shaked when she put the candy down. mini earthquake."If that was all that was in it then you should of told me. Would of saved me some time." he said to her as he plopped down in a chair by her desk. " and your not that old." he told her. " at least you dont have to put up with girls." he muttered the last part. They were a horrible species yet again.. wonderful at the same time. Horribly wonderful. What an oxymoron." For heavens sakes your not old!" he complained." If you were old you would have a beard and a cane." he looked at her and then pointed out." seeing as you have neither, your quite fine." he then cleared his throat." i promised rhiannon that i would go to her cousin's wedding with her. just for a couple of days in California in the united states. Other then that i thought you might be able to teach me some spells." he asked as he then reminded her." oh and i have a falcon and a kneazle.. i hope your not allergic."

Alex looked at Josh with a stony stare, "The day I grow a beard, kill me."

"That sounds fine, how are you going? Portkey? Floo? And dont worry I'm not allergic to Kneazles or Falcons. I love animals, actually we're going to have another furry member of the family as soon as they deliver him." she said with a shifty look.

Josh stared at her as she asked him to kill her." erh.. how about i hire someone.." he wasnt big on the whole killing your friends part."or we could just cut it off.. less work and not as expensive."

"um.. i was going to .. fly. if thats okay. i like to see the scenery." he nodded at her." i mean i cant get that lost. its California.. look for the bright lights." he teased. he raised an eye brow at her as she said they were going to have an addition."Oh really..." he paused as he heard deliver him." what.. sort of animal is this?" he asked curiously. " it doesn't.. eat things does it?" then his mind went to cages." we wont.. have to have cages will we?" bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad experience with those things.

"Fly?" Alex said raising an eyebrow, " I dont think so Josh, if you fall off your broom you wont have anyone else out there to help you. And California isnt the only bright city out there. I think Floo or Portkey would be a better idea. As for my pet, you'll see."

Josh shrugged as he didnt mind really. He got there either way." alright sounds good." he was sure to save his energy for other things. He was positive that he would drive her crazy during the summer."what other city is brighter?" he asked curious. and then she said he would see." Oh great.. its not a rather large.. meat eater is it?" he froze as he then asked." its not fabian with cages....." oh he was gonna die.
