Seeing the Hufflepuff at the Kneazle pen I excuse myself from the professor's presence and run over. The Kneazle's were, for the most part being difficult about leaving thier litter boxes open for cleaning.
"Deki, could you please encourage everyone to excuse us." Deki simply nods and meows a couple of times. In a few short minutes all of the Kneazles were out of the way.
"There, that should make it easier to clean those boxes." I say to the Hufflepuff, as I begin distributing the food. "I suppose you like Kneazles too? Deki here is a half breed, his dad being a Maine Coon cat." Suddenly realising my rudeness I say,
"My name's Onikami Darthun, what's yours?"

Alexis watched as the ravenclaw boy make it easier for her to clean the litter box's "Thanks, I'm Alexis its nice to meet you, i love Kneazles i have 2 full breeds at home along with 4 half breeds and i have 1 half breed with me at school but i haven't seen him all day, he gets way to excited with new places to explore."

"Yeah, Kneazles are great, I only have one, but my Uncle is a certified breeder and I'm almost always there for half the summer these days. Deki here has been with me for about 8 years now, and is still young." I say now evening the food unconciously. "Of what I've heard, Professor Maximus has a pure bred Kneazle named Zeus. I suppose they're popular ani-creaturs these days. I also have a bat named Luna, who's probably sleeping at the moment, and an owl named Eve, she's on her way to my grandmother, who's currently on safari, again."

"my grandmother and i don't breed them but my grandmother does seem to collect them, she likes to take Kneazles from shelters and from people who can no longer care for them, she did some Foster care for a shelter once, I also have a common garden snake at home, his name is Edward and we have a family owl Thursday but he stays with Gran, she needs him more then i do."

Smiling I say,
"Yeah that's a nice hobby, Kneazle rescue group. My uncle really is a great breeder, he's managed a few Lynx Hybrids, one of which my cousin is currently in posetion of." I look back to Deki than say, "It's been nice meeting you but now I feel that I should go to the bat section to see if I can learn more about them."

Alexis smiled "it was nice to meet you aswell."

Nodding I arrive at the bat aviary, where many species were silently sleeping away the day, except for the fruit bats. Looking about I see the silver haired bat section and head over. Learning about ones pet was one of the best ways to take care of it.

The hufflepuff had to keep herself from getting terribly side-tracked, as she and Curt entered the magical creatures park. She made sure the gate was closed behind them before continuing to venture inside, moving a dark strand away from her face that the wind had blown forward. It was still abit chilly, after all it was winter still, snow layed upon the ground around and on things, just none was falling from the sky today.

"Did I already tell you, Professor Clark said Rabid's in good health?" She asked, momentarily forgetting whether she had or not. Savannah was quite excited to see the badger baby. The only thing she couldn't and wouldn't want to forget about, was the missing kids were still gone. But, the fourth year had very high hopes and faith all would be returning soon. Alexyna would be alright once she came back, she had to be.

Savannah nearly stopped in her tracks, but decided against pausing. Where would a badger be, in a park around other creatures, but ones that were different from him? "Think he'd remember his name?" What harm could it hurt, seeing if Rabid would come like a dog. The idea might be lame, but it was worth a try.

Amelia wasn't sure that she should be coming down here, but she heard from Vannah about Rabid training starting in Park 61. As much as creatures really weren't her specialty, she had a certain sense of fondness for this particular one. He was special.

She wrapped her yellow hufflepuff scarf tighter around her neck, as it was still a bit a chilly out, before opening the gate. Letting herself in, she quickly closed it behind her. Now where would a badger be hanging out amongst all the other creatures? More importantly though, where was Vannah?

And then, she saw the dark brown hair that could only belong to the fourth year quidditch beater. Hurrying along the path in the Park, through the cold air, she manage to wheeze out, "Vannah!" The sixth year quickened her pace until she finally was walking in stride with her friend.

Curt walked down to the Magical Creatures Park, in stride with Savannah. He shivered slightly as an especially strong gust of wind came his way. Curt watched as Savannah fastened the gate and smiled, before they continued on. The next bit of news Savannah told him was great indeed, his face lit up, "Thats awesome! Last visit with Professor Clark had me a little nervous." he said with a huge sigh of relief. Curt smiled, as it seemed that things had been going against him... up till now.

As they continued through the park, looking for Rabid, Curt smiled slightly and pondered whether or not he would remember his name. "Well, I don't know I bet he does. Kitty still doesn't know his name and he's nearly a year old. Maybe it's just because he refuses to accept it." Curt said with a grin, as that was most probably very well the reason.

Curts eyes widened as he heard someone calling Savannah's name, Curt slowed down with Savannah and waited for Amelia to catch up with them. "Hey Amelia." Curt said with a friendly smile, "Excited to see Rabid?" Curt said with an eyebrow cocked. He already knew the answer of course, he just wanted to see her reaction.

There was no denying it, the whole 'Badger Club' had been nervous, or scared..both for her. Jack had simply been scared, of Rabid himself though. Clark was extremely nice though, and the professor for creatures. He understood and took care of the whole thing, made it silly to be afraid of the outcome, actually. "Me too. But it's all good now, He just needs to be trained and by next term he'll be all set to come into the common room." She beamed, giving a confident nod for she strongly believed this.

"I don't think Kitty likes his name much," Savannah added with a laugh. She could just imagine trying to call the pup, and have it completely ignore the call and walk in the opposite direction. "Quite stubborn, for a dog."

Ocean blue eyes scanned as far as they could see, around the park. Looking more carefully towards the ground, rather then at trees and whatnot. She'd honestly think it were a dream to see the cub in sitting in a tree, it would feel like it too, that would just be crazy. "Mia!" Vanna greeted, waiting to take another step till the sixth year caught up. "Professor Clark said he'd meet us here..didn't say when; I suppose that means we can play with Rabid, once we find him!" It was obvious, She loved that idea.

Taking one last glance towards a pair of Hippogriffs she saw in the other direction from the one they were going, Savannah focused again. "Raaaabiiiid" She called in a sweet, not too loud tone. "Think our little friend learned a new trick?" Savannah asked, pointing towards a more quieter, grassy patch abit further away. A hole that looked the perfect size for a small badger was just afew feet away from a rather large tree; to her, it looked right.

Rapunzel had been aimlessly wandering outside, getting some good healthy fresh air, when she decided to swing by the creatue pen.

Surprisingly, several of her fellow Hufflepuffs and Badger Clubbers were also inside! Rapunzel slipped in the gate and quietly wandered over to where they were standing. She heard Vannah call for Rabid and grinned; baby badgers were one fuzzly little animal she could handle.

"Hi guys!" Punz spoke up cheerfully. "Did I hear a call for badgers?"

"Oh hey Curt," Amelia replied back, looking over at the fourth year badger. Big surprise he was there, given that Vannah was. No. More excited to see you two together, she thought to herself but decided against saying it out loud. "Of course I'm excited to see Rabid! Why else would have come, silly?" she said, grinning and keeping an eye for the small creature.

Amelia smiled when Vannah returned her greeting. Good; she didn't come at the wrong time as she seemed to have a habit of doing these days. "Play with Rabid? Really?" she said, eyes sparked with excitement. She felt like she was five all over again and had just received a new toy. Simply by her tone, one could easily tell that she was in love with a creature she only met twice.

She giggled lightly as the fourth year called for her pet. "Oh I hope he did, but if not, he will once we start playing with him," she said, still glancing around the park and up in the trees for their friend. It would certainly be exciting next term when the badger would be allowed in their common room. She was confident the other hufflepuffs would love him. "Rabbiiiiiiidddd!!!" she called out in a sweet tone.


Amelia's green eyes widened as she heard a familiar voice. "Rapunzel!" she exclaimed. "Yes, you heard correctly. There are plenty of badgers around here now," she said, giggling at her own pun.

Rapunzel grinned at Amelia's jokey. "Badger badger badger badger..." she hummed, counting her friends. "But where's the Rabid one? Besides us, of course," she giggled. "You're looking for the babeh, eh?"

Amelia giggled at the third year quidditch player, as she counted her friends. "But ... we're all rabid," she said, grinning and still glancing around for any sight of the small animal. "Oh right, you meant the rabid one in animal form because, yes that is the one we're looking for."

Punz giggled at Mia again. "Mind if I try calling him? He should come to Vannah, cuz she's like his mommy, but it's worth a try."

She took a big breath and then whistled, calling,

"Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabiddddddd ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!"

in a nice, loud, high-pitched-thirteen-year-old-girly-screech. Yup.

Savannah nodded eagerly; of course they'd play with the baby badger! No doubt there. Professor Clark had said he was harmless..heath-wise. He was sure to be a good boy for them, though. But the professor wanted him trained before he could be around large groups, she was guessing. It made sense, she felt more comfortable knowing Rabid wouldn't do anything un-expected too.

"Oh yes! We've got alot to teach him, either way." Smiling brightly to the new arrival, Savannah giggled at Mia's comment. Badger badger badger badger... Goodness, it was very hard not to have 'Badgers' on the brain when the word kept being repeated and they were looking for a Badger. A Rabid badger cub.

"I dunno about the whole 'Mummy' bit, I'm more of his rescuer" The fourth year said, glancing this way and that as the continued walking further through the park. Savannah looked to Rapunzel, as she called for the animal, she couldn't help from laughing. "Well! That'll either make him come...or make him hide, like afew others.." She chirped, amusedly. In some ways, not knowing what a creature was thinking was a good thing. Like right now, they all probably thought this bunch of Hufflepuffs were out of their minds.

"Rabi-" She stopped mid-word, staring over at something moving out into the open. It was small, on all fours, and looking closely, it was clearly their little friend. "He came?" She sounded surprised, she was surprised. Maybe he had come on coincendence but Vannah prefer to think of it as he liked his name.

Punz giggled at Vannah's reaction. "Aww, you're his...his...mummscuer. Or RescuMum!" She beamed at her friend and waited to see if the little cub would appear.

And surprisingly enough, he did!

"Look, Vannah! It's Rabid!" Punz pointed delightfully towards a little blob crawling across the park. "I mean, I think it is..." she trailed off and squinted at the little creature. She didn't move any closer towards it, as she still wasn't sure that was him, but it looked like a fuzzy little club.

Natalie saw all the animals. The Flobberwormms were unattended. They were actually neat if you played with them. You had to put lettuce in front of them. They did the rest.

Curt laughed as Rapunzel callled, well... more like screamed, Rabid's name and as they kept walking, the little cub finally came into view. Curt smiled widely, and looked back at the rest of his housemates who seemed just as stoked as he was. Listening as they argued whether or not Savannah was the mom, Curt ran over to the little badger cub and bent down near to it, but not touching it yet. "I guess me and Jack are going to have to fight over whose going to be the dad then." Curt said with a wry smile, he was completely joking of course but he forgot to add the hint of sarcasm.

Looked back to the rest of the badger club, Curt sighed. It wasn't a bad sigh, just a 'what do we do now' sigh. "So, what are we going to teach him first?" Curt said with a small smile, he knew how to train a dog, now a badger was a whole different story.

Rapunzel smiled, watching Curt eagerly approach Rabid, thinking that if Savannah was badger's mum, then Curt was definitely the dad.

"Hey Curt," she called, "If you and Vannah are Rabid's parents, does that make Amelia and I the crazy aunts?" Punz giggled to herself. She certainly was crazy enough......but she had no idea how to train animals. Just look at Archimedes the owl - the little nutter barely got along with her!

"Okay..maybe we'll go with mummy instead, the other sounds funny." Rescumum, yes, it was easier just going with mum. Savannah giggled again at her friend, such the silly one. Pretzel was.

Seeing Curt go ahead towards the cub, She twirled around to walk backwards so she was facing Mia and Punz, careful with each step since clearly couldn't see what was behind her. "Welllll-" The brunette went to speak but stopped, accidentally tripping over her own foot (which honestly was nothing new). "Wait, excuse me?!" The words immediantly came out, in pure confusion; a near squeak actually. Curt and Jack fight over being Rabid's 'dad'? It was a no brainer who was, in both her head and Rapunzel's it seemed.

Standing, and brushing herself off, Vannah's insides filled with excitement once again, as ocean blue eyes rested on the badger. She loved the little thing, very much. "No biting, right?" She reminded the creature, going closer she kneeled down, sitting with her legs bent under herself and let the messenger bag slung over her shoulder slip to the ground; ignoring the safety gloves in the side pocket, "Rabid, remember us?" Vanna asked softly and reached out a hand, not yet touching his coat. The girl tried to bite back a laugh, but giggled anyways, at Punz's question about crazy aunties, she smiled but didn't turn her gaze.

Rapunzel grinned as Vannah approached the little badger. It was kinda funny, watching her stumble around Curt, but it was funnier watching the fuzzy little cub timidly approach its 'mum'.

She decided to sneak a little closer to the cute baby. Punz took a few shy steps forward and paused, a few more steps, and then a few more. She was still a good foot behind Vannah, and thought this was a respectable distance to observe the little tyke.

Rapunzel wanted to sit on the ground too, but she would have rather had a warm, dry bum. Instead, she plopped her dusty, old, purple canvas bag down on the ground and gently sat on that.

"Hiya Rabid!" she waved at the badger from afar, waiting to follow Savannah's lead.

Savannah slowly motioned for Rabid to come closer as he sniffed the air around her hand, sneezing hard as if something had gone up his nostril the little guy knocked himself off balance and sat there for a second, head tilting to the side.

"Silly, c'mon" She encouraged, patting the moist dirt infront of her. Ocean blue eyes sparkled, glancing over her shoulder at Rapunzel and giggled. "You can come closer, you know" Her tone held assurance, the baby badger wouldn't strike or anything. Somehow while trying to stand on all fours, Rabid wound up on his back, beady black eyes staring reluctantly up towards the clouded sky. Waiting a moment, the little cub rolled over and made a sound almost like a grunt.

Vanna beamed, Rabid gazed around at them, taking a cautious step forward. Then the next foot, and the other, and the other. "Good boy!" She praised excitedly, stroking the cub's silvery coat. "I think soon, with abit of training he can finally re-join us in the common room." Savannah added, looking up.

Hearing Savannah's encouragement, Rapunzel picked up her bag and scooted a little closer to the badger. She started giggling when the little cub sneezed so hard he fell over. It was almost turtle-like.

"Awwwww," she couldn't help gushing as Rabid let himself be petted. Punz thought she could handle that too, so she slowly approached him on her knees, offering a hand for his little nose to sniff and approve. When the badger didn't react badly, Punz started stroking his fuzzy little head and ears gently, grinning all the while.

"Yeah, I think he's becoming a regular little Hufflepuff!" she replied to Vannah, softly though so as not to disturb the cub.
