Jayden was really surprised when Becky snogged him. He stood frozen. Regaining himself he chuckled. "5? I suggest.. 10 out of 10" he said smiling. Had she really just done that? "Becks, you dont like me do you?" he asked suspiciously.. |
Becky looked at him rather surprised. "I umm you know? I don't really know to be quite honest. I mean I dunno. I must admit I was a little jealous when you were with Alie. Not like severely jealous but I think there was a little. I just hmm wow. I never had to think about this before." Becky looked at him and smiled "would it matter if I did like you?" |
Jayden shifted. "Um.. well ... kinda see I got a girlfriend. Jai..." he aid looking down at his feet. "But if you would have mentioned it earlier.. you know maybe something could have happened." |
Becky's smile faded completely "oh my merlin...you have a girlfriend. and I kissed you. I...I wouldn't have if I would've known. I feel horrible..." her face turned bright red "I shouldn't have done that anyway even if you didn't have a girlfriend. It was a stupid thing to do." pausing, she thought about his last statement. "I...I didn't know. I didn't want to get between you and Alie. You were happy besides I was dealing with losing Ryan and that hit me pretty hard. I'm over it now but before and then Sam came along and I just wasn't thinking about it. I don't think I really realized it until that day we were skating. But I did always like you. From that moment you fell on me I knew we would be friends. And even when I did kind of know I didn't want to say anything. I didn't know if you'd feel the same, and I don't handle rejection very well. I'm going 3 for 3 so I'm doing pretty good." She smiled slightly "I'm glad for you though. I really am. Jai is a nice girl. I just hope she doesn't hurt you like Alie did. You bummed me out when you weren't happy." After looking at him for a moment she dropped her gaze to the floor and played with her necklace, which she did when she was nervous. She spoke more quietly. "Now I wish I had said something but..well it happens. I just want you to know that I will always be here if you need me. Hopefully this doesn't umm complicate, for lackof a better word, our friendship at all." She turned away from him and diverted her gaze to the fireworks a single tear rolling down her cheek, but no more. |
Kaika couldn't believe the term already ended, she was just beginning to catch up and then it was over. One thing was sure, she was happy to go and spend some time with her family, she really missed them a lot!. She still remembered the first night at Hogwarts like if it was yesterday, somehow she didn't feel like going to her house table because it would mean that it really was over, at least for a while, either way she'll come back for next term, "You're being so dramatic! Just stop it" she said to herself, and then continued.. |

Emily wandered out into the entrance hall. Oliver had asked to meet her in his letter. To Ems relief it was pretty quiet out here. She spotted Ellie going back into the hall - that annoying hufflepuff girl, Kayla seemed to have upset her. She narrowed her eyes as she watched the girl. Emily had not forgotten how rude Kayla had been in muggle studies to Ems and her Slytherin friends when they were trying to play ‘goof.’ And she really seemed to get a kick out of winding Ellie up, who really couldn’t take it. Emily went to stand in the corner and looked around for Oliver. There was no sign of him so she folded her arms and waited for the boy, feeling rather anxious. Emily’s mind was racing about what had happened earlier - but none of her thoughts were particularly helpful. She didn’t have a clue what she was going to say to the lad. She just hoped that he wouldn’t get too upset, she didn’t want to hurt him. |
The fourteen year old second year, Derek, watched Heather and Jake. It was true he loved Heather more than life itself, but he had to do something. Derek had just heard 'You're breaking up with me, too?' from Jake. Too? He stepped out of the shadows. "Too? ", he asked Jake , then turned to Heather. Derek eyes were soft and caring, his expression shown he was there for her. |

Emily unfolded her arms as she saw Oliver. She looked at his face and the colour drained from her face. 'oh, no.. not again..' It was pretty obvious that he’d been crying. Emily had lost count of the number of boys she had unintentionally made cry this year. She took his hand, “Oliver” She began. “Open your eyes. I’m not going to hit you.” Yeah she was tempted when he kissed her, but it had been so unexpected, it would have been a reflex action. Did he actually think Ems was that insensitive? “A-about what happened in the hall.” she said softly, “I think it’s going to be best if we both just .. just forget it. ..like it never happened.” She let go of his hand and gave him a weak but genuine smile. |

Emily looked at Oli wide-eyed as he started to shout her. “I’m sorry Oliver.” She said softly. “I can’t help the way I feel .. and I see you as a friend.” Oliver's reaction was quite uncalled for - Ems was trying to be nice to the lad. She took a step back as he really started yelling, her face flushing a little. She folded her arms again defensively. “What? No. Why would you want to go back to your muggle school?” She shook her head. “You belong here Oli, you’re a wizard.” And then he started going on about bloodlines and Emily lost it. Oliver was being totally unreasonable. “How DARE you!” She narrowed her eyes at him. “I never said anything about BLOOD!” She yelled back at him. “FINE! GO BACK TO YOUR MUGGLE SCHOOL. NO-ONE HERE WILL MISS YOU! ...I, for one, will be glad to see the back of you!!“ She lied. She turned and started to storm off back in the direction of the great hall, tears in her eyes. “Goodbye Oliver.” She said softly, turning back to him look at him briefly and then carried on walking. |

Emily stopped walking as Derek ran over to try and calm her down. She wiped her eyes and turned and glared at him. “Me chill!!? You should be telling HIM that, not me!” She turned and pointed at Oliver before sighing and looking back at Derek. He was only trying to help after all. “….S-sorry Derek.. …And thanks. She turned to look at Oliver again. Emily glared at him as he started up again. “You can’t always choose an option because it’s easy, Oliver.” Emily said bluntly. “Everyone has to do things they don’t want to.” She looked at her feet, “And I never called you any names. …You yelled at me first.” She frowned and looked back at him as he implied that she had no feelings. “I don’t want your wand. You should keep it.. It'll come in handy the day you finally realise what a mistake you’ve made in leaving Hogwarts." She turned to leave again, ignoring Oliver's tears. “See you around Oli.” She muttered quietly. Emily had had quite enough of being shouted at. She headed back into the great hall where her real friends were. |
