Excelsior began setting out the special posters he had made for the occasion. He thought they were tasteful and kind of pretty, and did a good job of conveying the message he wanted to say.

Rosalie walked into the room once Professor Branxton gave the go ahead. From her pocket she extracted a picture of two of her friends who had graduated the year before. It was a muggle picture, not moving.

She turned, looking around, trying to locate the perfect spot to put it. She stepped behind the large desk in the room, and to the nearest wall beside it. With the picture in hand, she pulled out her wand, and used a charm to stick it to the wall. After much thought on the matter, she'd decided a permanent sticking charm was going too far.

Before leaving, she stepped back to admire the picture. Perfectly innocent. No one else had to know the picture was charmed...right?

Aschere decided to put up the multicoloured poster first. She grinned at Rosalie. "That's such a cute picture," she said.
She turned the moving poster around and squinted as she put it up on the wall.

"Thanks." Rosalie responded, and looked over at the poster the girl was putting up. "That thing really gives me a headache." She stated with a giggle.

Before leaving, Rosalie turned to a bare stretch of wall, and pulled out her wand. She flicked her wand, doing a silent spell, then placed the tip against the wall. She moved her wand across the wall like a pencil, and in it's wake there was a trail of something black.

With it she wrote: Attendo Thea Vipera; and underlined it with a snake.

"I suppose I'll see you in the dungeons in a few days." She waved at the girl, and left the room.

Amelia quickened her pace down to the kitchen level where Professor Swensa's office was. She heard the redecoration committee was starting here with the MO's office and this task would not be missed. Especially since Miss Swensa was her temporary head of house. Amelia put on her most malevolent grin, as she carried her bag of 'surprises' to the MO's office.

"Hello Professor Branxton. I have a bagful of fun tricks in here, no worries." she winked at him.

Lindsey smiled to herself and soon began to take out her her things from her bag. She had loads of pretty paint and colors, along with sparkles and paper mache. She claimed a spot on the wall, spread out a long paper over one of the walls, light blue but otherwise blank and smiled. She dipped her fingers into the paint, then smirked and began to happily paint. She actually enjoyed drawing, she just wasn't always excellent at it, specially finger painting. But she liked how it was turning out. She really liked it! She just needed to add a bit of sparkles to the walls and the words and the drawing itself...

She cleaned off her fingers before she happily spread around some paper mache colorful little balls to decorate the floor and desk. They were all sorts of colors, from deep blues and purples to light greens and yellows. A touch of color never hurt anyone!

Pauline smiled as she skipped to the MO's Office trying not to spill anything she had in her tool box. She was going to love this, she was meant for this.

As she got there many people were already in the office decorating. She looked around and saw the things people had said.

Finally she found a clear spot and knew this is where her masterpiece would lie. She took the paint out of the toolbox she had brought and thought about how she should start. She took her green paint and wrote in cursive the lovely Slytherin motto to first point out which house this person was from. Around it she put sqiggly lines of silver/ grey paint.

Next her added the lovely stars that she drew the kiddy way and then filled them in like she had done them naturally. After that she decided she would give some advice for the MO. She put in red letters "Welcome to Hogwarts", and then underneathe she told ten things to get your office nifflered.

She smiled at her work and signed a lovely number 4 as her signature mark. She cleaned her stuff, packed up, and nodded. She smiled at Lindsey and then walked out pleased.

"Hi Professors!" Hermy said as she entered the room, a large box of something in one hand, and a reference book and sketchpad in the other. She glanced round at what others were doing, finding a space the right size for her plans.

Hermy pulled the chair from behind the desk and across the room, to a blank length of wall and stood on it. Taking a Muggle pencil out from behind her ear, she started sketching a raven in flight, sometimes refering to a book held in her right hand. From its claws she extended two main lines attached to a swirling banner. She then proceeded to fill this with some loopy old fashioned lettering with the words "Welcome to Hogwarts."

Stepping down from the chair, Hermy opened the box to reveal some paint and a palette. Squeezing some creamy beige and brown from some tubes on to a her palette, she returned to the top of the chair and started on the banner.

Amelia smiled to herself as she looked around at the other wonderful work that students were doing with her office. It was beginning to look more like 'home', and she was confident Miss Swensa would love their work. She decided she would do some work with her desk and leave some friendly messages there. She opened her bag and pulled out three dungbombs, carefully placing one in the back of each drawer. She then pulled out her pack of muggle post it notes, and wrote little friendly messages on them.

Once she was finished, she made sure to add a Hufflepuff stamp to the last one so Miss Swensa would know which house this person was from.


Using a strong permanent sticking charm, Amelia stuck them each individually to the surface of Swensa's desk to remind her every time she did work of the guidelines.


She then stood up and looked down to admire her work, including opening one of the drawers to make sure it smelled. It was a horrid stench in the drawers, causing her to quickly shut the drawers and hold her nose - gagging from the smell.

It was perfect. Amelia packed up her belongings and strode out of the office, pleased with her work.

Lainey watched in complete awe. "Merlin's pants.. this is.. this is perfect! You guys.. honestly... Are so awesome! If I could give you points for this, you'd all get fifty from me." Lainey moved around to see all the unique art that this Ministry lady was getting. It was nice, but it was certainly going to serve their underlying purpose.

Jason left his stuff and left.

Hermy finished the background of her banner, and quickly started on the raven. She used broad strokes, and very quickly the emblem of her house was evident. As she waited for some paint dry, Hermy turned to the Professors wondering about the second stage of her plan.

"Erm, Professors, is there a charm I could use to make the ?aven fly and/or squawk? Or give the impression that it is?"

"Allow me," Professor Branxton spoke to Miss Smythe. He approached the banner and tapped the raven's beak with a piece of cloth and then his wand. He repeated the process with its wings. "There. Now when she speaks, the raven will caw. When she enters, it should fly around the room."

"Show off," Lainey nudged Doyle as she came to stand with him. In a much quieter tone, she started,"Rae have any idea what we're doing?"

"I haven't mentioned it to her, though now that I think of it, the girls would have really enjoyed finger painting the walls in here."

Lainey laughed. "They would have," she agreed. "I guess she'll know tomorrow when we.. spruce up.. the suggestion box outside her office."

Hermy grinned, her eyes twinkling. Who would think such a realistic painting could annoy one person so much? "Thanks Professor Branxton! Let's hope the time she speaks in the room is murmuring to herself...that could be quite a surprise!" She giggled at the thought.

Finding her paint dry, Hermy moved onto her finishing touches, adding a cheeky glint to the raven's eye and outlining all the lettering in glimmering blue ink.

Aggie shuffled to the door happily. My, my! What an excellent time she had had out and about the castle. The portraits were so very amusing at the late hours of the night. As she turned her key in her door, she entered the room to darkness. It was when she muttered lumos quietly that she saw...

Oh my word!

The whole office was changed... There were messages everywhere, the whole office was completed reordered with the house colors and notes all addressed to her. Goodness, they had even used her proper title!

Aggie reached into her pocket to grab a tissue... sniffling slightly...

How could they? How could they even?

"It's... It's...

....

SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!" Aggie cried out happily, sure the whole hall could hear her, as she began to bawl with laughter. "Oh, it's wonderful, WONDERFUL! Who do I get to thank?!" as she spoke, a large raven on the wall screeched out loudly, and she chuckled happily, amazed that the students would have the skill do such amazing spellwork!

Aggie cheerfully walked to her desk, and began to read the notes, leaving her door wide open for the students to come in so she could thank them. In the meantime, she began to sort through the notes.

Oh dear, save our staff, of course I will! I will do everything in power to make them the best staff ever!

Christian found himself walking down the hallway once again. He had to find out all the he could about this ministry person. The redecoration had been fun, but now it was time to get to business. Without her knowing of course.

As any sneaking adventure Christian may be on, Lindsey was with him. He was pretty sure Wendleworth didn't approve, but who was Christian to care about Pretty Boy. "Miles" had enough problems of his own thanks.

He smirked at Lindsey as they reached the door of the office. Oh sweet, the door was open and she was in there. Was she crying? Christian didn't like to interrupt a woman when she was crying. It always led to awkwardness. Shooting Lindsey a look, he knocked on the open door and slowly proceeded into the room.

"Uhm...hello? May we come in?"

Lindsey smirked as she followed up after Christian down to the MO's office. She chose to ignore the fact that Kingy didn't like it when she was with Christian, and Christian with Kingy, but they were both her friends, and it was up to her. She liked them both and enjoyed spending time with them just the same.

They walked down the hallway until they were in front of the open office door, with a crying woman inside. She looked back at Christian just as puzzled.

"Are you okay, professor?" she asked, peaking her head behind Christian to the 'decorated' office.

Aggie turned to find two students in her office, ans she hurried over to them and gave them a grandmotherly group hug as the same time. (ooc: hehe)

"Oh dears! I bet you two did help with this! And if you didn't... well, just look at how lovely everyone has decorated my office! I feel so welcome to your family. They are even trusting me to save the staff!" Aggie began to sniffled once more, it was just so touching. All the while she talked, the Raven in the background squawked and cawed, but Aggie merely seemed to be motivated by this.

Oh good lord. Was she hugging him!? Get her off, get her off! Ok, so maybe Christian was exaggerating slightly, but could him blame him? He was a guy. These things happened.

Christian found the Raven in the background slightly annoying, but yet felt a rush of pride as it symbolized his house. He patted the MO's back lightly and comfortingly and gave an awkward, "You're welcome." He was relieved when she finally pulled away. He would leave Lindsey to do the major comforting. It was kind of a girl thing.

"We're...ah..glad that you like your office, it looks very nice. We also hope that you'll be able to save the staff." He started off. Wait a second. He frowned slightly. "Why do they need saving?"

At that procise moment, there was a tapping on the window. Yet nothing was there. Another tap, this time louder. And then...

BOOM!

The window was blown open, and four, five, six nifflers were levitated into the office. They landed on the floor, looked slightly dazed and then began to destoy everything in the office. The cackling of a small, pink haired fourth year could be heard in the distance, but by the time anyone got to the window, Cora-Blue Laitffa was gone.

It just appeared to be one thing after another. Why wouldn't anyone let them do their job in peace? Christian mused over this as the windows to the office flew open with a shocking boom. He stepped back a few due to the sound, but he focused his eyes to see who it was.

Pink hair was all he needed. There was only one pink haired person who'd be stupid enough to pull this stunt. "Cora.." he muttered to himself as the figure disappeared. He'd have to deal with her later, but for right now, there were matters bigger than her.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" If these things were levitated in, then they could be levitated out. 3 nifflers in one corner of the room were lifted up off the floor. He hoped one of the girls, or both, would levitate the other three. He turned to the MO

"You got a box or container I can transport these fuzzballs in? I'll take them to Mr. Clark...I'm sure he'll love to have them." Christian nodded. He also had make sure Fabian knew of these rebellion.

At that moment one of the nifflers that was still free jumped at Christian's wrist. The little black fuzzball bit his wrist in an attempt to get Christian's watch. "Ow, ow, get it off!" He shoook his hand hard and the niffler dislodged itself. Little streams of blood worked there way down. He shot Lindsey a look, this wasn't going to be easy.

Lindsey blinked as she made it click that the professor was actually... happy? They had completely trashed her office and she was crying of joy? That was... odd, to say the least. She patted the professor in the back as she hugged them and thanked them. Her drawnigs, sparkles and papers were all over the place, along with other posters and a raven that wouldn't shut up.

"There, there professor," she attempted to calm the Ministry Official. Her office was a mess more than anything thought, it was slightly strange that she liked it. Before she could comfort the teacher any longer, the office suddenly found itself in more chaos. How had that happened?!

She took out her wand immediately before she realized what in the world was attacking them, and it was only when Christian levitated one of them that she recognized them. Nifflers! Thank merlin she had no jewellry on her at the time being--

Her thoughts were caught off, however, as Christian yelped in pain. Immediatly, her wand pointed at the black fuzzy thing holding onto his wrist and muttered the spell to group it with the other three Christian was holding up. "How in the world did these things get in here?!" she muttered angrily before she tried to take a hold of another before they noticed she was wearing anything shinny that she dind't know about.
