In the tallest room of the North Tower, lies the office of the Divination professor. Up the winding staircase and through the trap-door, Professor Natasha Blaylock sits waiting. The trap-door to Professor Natasha Blaylock's office is open and as you peek inside to see if she is available, you catch sight of several piles of books lying all over the room. A smoky crystal ball sits on a pedestal in the corner and her desk is littered with tarot cards from a previous reading.

A woman of shorter than average height and a pile of messy auburn hair sits behind the messy desk. She's muttering to herself as she makes notations on a scrap of parchment. A pot of tea sits on the desk beside her, but she ignores it, just as she doesnt notice you standing in the doorway.

OOC Warning : Do not spam my office, please and be patient. I may not be able to reply to your posts immediately, but do not post your character walking off just because Professor Blaylock has not replied.

Okay, she couldn't help it - A giggle escaped her lips. She'd been doing a lot of that lately, despite the fact that she'd spent a lot of years NOT giggling. "It's true, I say you're doing everything right in his eyes."

Celestina blushed some more and fought the urge to giggle but couldn't fight the stupid grin crossing her face. Covering her face with her hands she peeked at Blaylock through her fingers.

"You really think so?" She asked and held the sides of her face. "What am I doing?! I feel like I've been stung by a horde of billywigs."

Bucky sighed and threw herself sideways at the sofa, laughing into the cushion.

Natasha grinned at the girl's reaction. Bucky was acting the way she herself felt, but she couldn't very well giggle into a cushion over the Herbology professor...that would just be too weird. "I know so...Well, from what limited experience I have, and my observation skills tells me that it's quite possible he returns your feelings. But," she held a finger to her lips, "don't tell anyone I said that. I wouldn't do to have it go round that the Divination professor gossiped with you."

Bucky sat up and nodded gravely at Blaylock, taking deep breaths in attempt to compose herself.

In. Out. In. Ou--Then she giggled. Oh, this just wouldn't do.

"Is this a disease?" She asked with a chuckle and sighed. "I'm terminally ill, aren't I? I've finally fell pray to the polluted waters of Hogwarts."

"I'd say so..." Natasha said, giggling herself at the girl's infectious happiness, "I daresay I've never giggled before this term. It is definitely something in the water..." She stared at her teacup and shrugged before taking another sip.

"But seriously...Tag's a nice boy, he's cute, plays Quidditch rather well and is House prefect to boot. I say scoop him up before another girl wanders into the picture and tries to get his attention off you." Natasha clapped her hand over her mouth, "Oh dear, that was too much! I'm sorry, Bucky, I don't mean to meddle...too much."

Celestina's happy mood soon disappeared. Her stomach churned and the pleasant feeling buzzing in the center of it burst.

"Other girls?" She repeated in a whisper and groaned. "Oh no! Other much much much prettier girls! Who are normal and not afraid of bears and the dark and don't make pillow children."

It was now that she felt the sudden urge to cry and drown herself with that nasty tea.

"Oh dear..." Natasha resisted the urge to slap her palm to her forehead. "Forgive me, Bucky, my mouth tends to run off without my mind. I didn't mean that...what I meant it just that you should probably just...take the risk and tell him. I took a risk, and look at me!" She said, smiling encouragingly at the pink haired child.

Celestina's brow wrinkled in thought and distress. To be honest, Blaylock's words weren't consoling. She was positive that there was a girl somewhere desperate enough to get her hands on Tag to throw herself at him and eat him alive! Eliza came to mind...except she hated Tag.

"YES!" She exclaimed suddenly then....blushed. "I mean---You took a risk with what?"

HUH?

Natasha blushed a bright red as she realized what she'd said, "M-Me? Nothing. We're not talking about me. The point here is that you need to go to Tag, and just tell him how you feel. I'm positive he's bonkers over you."

Bonkers would be pushing it but she was feeling confident enough having eliminated every possible girl prospect. Bucky didn't really know many girls but she was willing to bet her tortoise and pygmy puff that she could definitely obliviate several of those who tried getting in her way. Standing up quickly, she sent Stacy sliding across the floor.

Wheeeeeeeeeee.

"You're right," she said, lips thin with determination and holding her fists up to her chest. "I may feel like I'm going to stop breathing and that my heart will catch fire at his mere words but--I--He likes me right?"

Why, that was a stupid question.

"I don't even know where he is though!" She exclaimed in a panicky voice. "What if he's in Erikson's office? I can't wait any longer. I'll chicken out. I feel dizzy and out of breath," she added and held unto the back of the sofa.

Natasha looked up from where she reclined on the sofa and grinned at the girl. Bucky was so adorable, she thought, but if she ever ended up having children...pink was definitely not a choice for their hair colour.

"I'm quite sure he does, Bucky, and if he is in Arm-," she coughed, "That is, Professor Erikson's office, you'll just have to wait a while. I'm sure there's nothing wrong...Arm- Professor Erikson probably just wants to make sure he's alright after the ordeal at the lake."

Funny business that, she thought, I fainted and all I got was a note. She squelched that thought and patted Bucky's hand.

"I think it's definitely something in the water...I've been feeling dizzy a lot lately, too!"

Celestina stared at Blaylock. Bucky knew well why Erikson wanted to talk to Tagren. He wanted to talk about his dying plan and wanted to take Tag's prefectdom away. Bucky's sighed, remembering the look of utter panic in Tagren's face. She had tried to comfort him but she wasn't entirely sure if putting--Oh....dear.

"I put my arm around him?!" She exclaimed in disbelief. "What was I thinking?"

Bucky went to sit down on the sofa, without glancing behind her, and missed her target ending up on the floor like a sack of sweet potatoes. Pink sweet potatoes.

Natasha rose and looked over the arm of the sofa, her hair hanging down as she eyed the girl who was lying on her floor, "You put your arm around him? I'd say if he didn't throw it off and chuck a liver at you, you're doing just the right thing. In these situations, Bucky, it's best not to think at all. Be The Fool!"

She chuckled at the Fool comment, if only Armand were here, he'd get her joke.

Celestina looked up from the ground at Blaylock. Her hair was in her eyes and she looked like some pink monster, ears and cheek to match. Be the fool? She had been the fool a lot of times. Rubbing her cheek thoughtfully, she picked up Stacy who was rocking back and forth and vibrating with an energy she had never seen the pygmy puff show before. Maybe this was a sign from the beyond....sort of.

"I did. He didn't even seem to notice it," she replied and chewed on her bottom lip. "But that's a good thing right? I mean--No liver!" She declared waving at her filthy robes.

Natasha eyed Bucky's robes, "Yes...no liver, but I doubt it would have made much difference." She said as she leaned back on the sofa, watching the girl. "You know you like him, and I'm certain he must like you back...you're a wonderful girl, Bucky, I don't know how he can resist. So...go for it."

Celestina stared at Blaylock and wondered what to make out of all she had said. She wasn't used to compliments. It wasn't like she had people going up to her all the time telling her how "great" she was.

"Well, I am pretty wonderful," she remarked to herself and avoided flicking her hair as her mind was telling her to do. Sauntering next to Blaylock she nudged her playfully. "Can I ask you a question?" She nudged her again and asked again without waiting for her first answer. "Do you remember your first love-- crush...whatever."

One question and all her poise (whatever she had of it) flew right out the tower window."I-I-I-Well, that is to s-say, I think I need more tea." She said, pouring herself a cup and downing half of it in one gulp. Which was a bad idea, considering it was scalding and she burnt her tongue quite effectively.

"Blast! My tongue...ouch..." she said, pouting a bit at Bucky, although the laughter was evident in her eyes. She was always first to laugh whenever she did something stupid. Which was a lot of times.

Bucky's auburn brows rose dangerously high and a small smile danced around her pink lips. Blaylock was cute--in that comical adult belonging to a sweet muggle romance novel kind of way. Celestina really ought not to read those anymore.

"Are you alright, Professor Blaylock," she asked with a chuckle. "Should I make your tongue better?" Bucky exclaimed excitedly, pulling out her wand.

Maybe this time she could do that healing spell and not make the tongue blow up to gigantic proportions.

Natasha eyed the wand, and the rumours of Bucky's mishaps in Charms and any lessons needing a wand resurfaced in her memory. She backed away, holding a hand up to Bucky, "NO! No! That is, no, thank you for your offer. I'll just...let it heal naturally."

She eyed the wand still, willing Bucky to put it away while her own hand settled on the shape of her wand in her pocket.

"Aww," she pouted, putting her wand away. "Okay. If you say so."

Bucky cast a worried glance at her though and not because she had burnt her tongue. Maybe she did know after all she was horrid with a wand for about 86 percent of the time she used it. Celestina wasn't entirely sure how she had made it to Hogwarts. Her eyes widened. Maybe she was 24 percent away from being a squib! But--wait a minute! Blaylock thought she was being sneaky....

"So...did you ever have a boyfriend or not?" She asked, slightly hurt that the Professor wouldn't share at least that much.

How unfair! Next time she was going to go to that crazy Care of Magical Creatures Professor. She seemed girly enough.

Natasha frowned at Bucky for catching on to her evasion tactics. She could just tell the child to mind her own business, but after the slight nervous breakdown she'd witnessed earlier, she didn't want to risk it.

"Not that it's any of your business, but I did have one before. And no, I wasn't in love with him."

Not like Armand, she thought, smiling a bit goofily to herself before wiping it off. It wouldn't do to start thinking about Armand while she had a student in her office.

Okay, so maybe she was a little ashamed. She had forgotten that Blay wasn't just Blay but Professor Blay. Technically she was Professor Blaylock but that didn't sound right to Bucky.

"Didn't mean to intrude," she said as she stood up trying to run away from her embarrassment and picked up a shiny crystal orb. "Oooooh! What's this!"

It was shiny! Bucky liked shiny...only a little bit though.

She sighed, "It's only fair, I suppose, considering I've poked my nose in your bu- That's a family heirloom!" Natasha gasped, standing up and walking over to where Bucky stood, ready to catch the crystal orb if the Gryffindor were to let it slip or something.

"Errr...it's a crystal ball, for crystallomancy, which I taught last term." she said, trying to remember if Bucky had been present for that class.

Bucky held the crystal ball against her stomach and giggled, clearly unaware of Blaylock's nervousness and ignoring all this heirloom business. Heirloom shmeirloom! Celestina blinked at she went on to explain. Crystallomancy. Last Term. Taught. Was supposed to have learned something. Riiiiiiiiight.

"Ooh," she cooed again and giggled. "So what do I do? Rub it for good luck?"

And so she did. Repeatedly.

Natasha's eyed were fixed on the crystal ball and she wondered how to get it out of Bucky's hands without offending her overmuch. "Noooo...it's not a lamp and you are not Alladin."

With that, she plucked the ball out of Bucky's hands, "I'd show you, if you want...or would even let you have your own crystal ball if you're interested in an extra class." She held it up in front of Bucky, as if the shininess would persuade the girl to take an extra class.
