Potions Lesson Three Adam opened the door to the potions classroom for the last time that term. He paused for a moment to think that he hadn't done too bad a job teaching, seeing as it was his first term. He knew the students would have fun today, it was going to be an interesting lesson. He walked back over to his desk and sat on it, keeping a careful eye on the two muggle fire extinguishers he'd had brought in especially for today's lesson. Usually a quick spell was enough, but Adam wanted the fire extinguishers just in case. |
Cora skipped into the classroom, stopping as she realised it was empty. "Wow! First year!" She laughed, sitting down at a desk and getting her things out. "Hullo Professor!" |

Ryan Walked into the classroom in a mery daze, "How are you today Proffesor?" Ryan asked as he stumbled into a desk and smiled. Ryan walked to a desk near the front of the class, and sat down. |
Molly excitedly entered the potions classroom. She couldn’t wait for the lesson to start since she had so much fun during the last one. “Hi Professor! What a super day it is. I hope you are doing well.” Molly said as she skipped over to a desk on the front row. |
Ali strolled into the Potions classroom. She was excited because, believe it or not, she loved Potions. "Hello Professor." She walked over to a desk and sat down |
Savannah walked into the class room and waved politely to the professor and her fellow class mates before going and sitting down at one of the desks next to Molly. |
Adam nodded greetings to the next bunch of students that arrived into class. He then remembered something he was meant to get out in preparation for the class. Walking into the store cupboard, he grabbed a roll of blue and a roll of green tissue paper and brought them out, placing them next to the table on which were the ingredients the class would be using to make today's potion. |
Jeremiah entered the classroom and slouched into a seat, promptly slumping over in a lazy, moody fashion. He watched the potion's master in boredom. When would this term be over anyways? He was so bored with this repetative coming-and-going to classes and such. Jeremiah raised his eyebrows up above his bright yet dark blue eyes. Tissue paper? Oh, Lord, He thought. Sometimes Hogwarts seemed quite tame compared to Durmstrang. The only thing Jeremiah could think of them doing with the tissue paper is wrap presents. Lame. |
Hayden entered the potions classroom for what was sure to be an interesting lesson. He smiled as he went to a seat near the front of the room. Now he only had to wait until the lesson began. |
Ryan watched as the professor entered the store cupboard and returned with some blue and green paper in his hands "I wonder what they are for..." Ryan asked himself |
Kennedy entered the Potions classroom before the start of the lesson and quickly took a seat at the front of the room. She began pulling items from her tote and laying them out on her desk. She placed her shiny and clean cauldron atop the desk and smiled at Professor Dresden as he went about gathering materials for today's lesson. It was the last of term and Kennedy was curious what he had in store for the class. |
Pauline walked quickly into the Potions Classroom, so she would not be late. She went in and looked around for as eat. She spotted Hayden but decided to leave him be during a class. She went and found a seat in front of him. At least he knew she was there. "Hello Proffesor," she also added when she sat down and got out her stuff. |
Jenni ran to Potions. She didn't want to be late. She saw the Professor, and lost the sense of where she was going. Suddenly she found herself falling. She had tripped over her undone laces. She hit the concrete floor with a thud. Wow that hurt. |
"Well, I think we can begin" Adam said to the assembled class. He didn't want to give away the subject of today's lesson just yet, but particularly adept students might be able to guess. Quote:
"You okay there?" Adam asked the girl who had just faceplanted on the classroom floor. Jenni he thought her name was, but he wasn't sure. He walked over and offered a hand to help her up, before turning back to the class. "Due to the nature of today's lesson, you will be working in pairs" he added. The pairs thing was a good idea he thought. He remembered being taught how to make these when he was at school individually, and it's rather difficult to stir a potion and hold a wand ready to put out any fires at the same time. "So please, pair up. I think most of you should know each other by now, so close to the end of term" |
Jenni took hold of the Professor's hand and pulled herself up "I am f...fine thanks s...s....sir" she blushed and dusted herself down. She quickly sat down behind a cauldron, "Pauline can I be your partner? I don't know many other people." |
It was times like these that Kennedy was grateful she and Aurora traveled together often. She turned to Aurora and asked, "Hey, wanna pair up?" |
Auroura leaned over to Kennedy and whispered, "we are going to be partners right?" She said with a wink. |
Pauline looked up at the Proffesor as he spoke. She wondered what they were doing today as he spoke of finding a partner. They needed pairs. Hmm who should she choose. She turned around but not getting out of her seat looking for her partner. She hoped they were a good worker and actualy knew what they were doing. She looked for the best canidate. |
Kennedy giggled lightly when Aurora asked to be her partner at the same time she asked her. As if they even needed to ask anymore! She replied, "OK Partner, you ready for this potions lesson? I wonder what the tissue paper is for..." |
Patrick looked around for any free people. Two Ravenclaws were already together and the onlt other options were a couple of Slytherins. He looked up at the fifth year and asked, "D'you want to be my partner?". ooc: will you spickles? |
Ryan stood up and looked for a partner, he saw Pauline, but he though she would probably pair up with Hayden, so he just sat on the edge of his desk, and waited to see if anyone would come over to him. |
Pauline looked and saw so many people she could ask. She was lookign for the best person. There was Ryan and Haydan. She then heard two people from behind She turned around. Whoa so many people, she was so loved. Pauline liked that, but she didn't know who to choose. She decided that since Jenni had asked her first she would have to choose her. "Sure Jenni," she replied then turned to the Gryffindor boy. "Sorry she asked me first, I would have be honored though, if you had asked first," She said politely. She went with Jenni and then turned to look at Hayden and Ryan and gave them a sorry look. She would have loved to been partnered with them too. |
Wait. What? Jeremiah blinked fiercly. Pairs?! He did not do well in pairs, unless it was a pair that did nothing except lock lips. Well, this was great. He lazily looked around the group for any girls who looked particularly accomodating. Because if they were indeed wrapping boxes in this class with that tissue paper, Jeremiah refused to take part in the actual wrapping. |
Aurora whispered to Kennedy, "did yo uever tell anyone what chased us out of the orchard before? or are they suppoed to be there?" |
