Professor Light pushed open the door of her classroom to find... cobwebs.
Oh dear... I really have been gone to long this time.
Professor Light turned on the lights and used her wand and her spare hands to knock the cobwebs off the door. She looked around the classroom.
Now I do wonder whether anyone will actually attend... I didn't exactly spread the word about this lesson.
Professor Light sat down on her desk, long curly brown hair falling over her shoulders. She reached under her desk and pulled out a policeman's hat, and put it on. And she waited for the students to arrive. | |

Sam walked into the muggle studies classroom and found a seat on the left side of the classroom closer to the front. He placed his things next to a leg of his chair and stretched his arms, he was very tired.
Sam waited for the lesson to start.

Megan walked into the classroom, smiled at the Professor and said, "Hello Professor!" She said down in a desk in the front row and said, "I'm very excited for this lesson!" She then pulled out materials that she might need for this class.

Kennedy entered the Muggle Studies classroom unsure whether or not a class would be starting soon. The door had previously been locked and now it was open so Kennedy stepped through the doorway and saw Professor Light sitting on her desk wearing a very oddly shaped hat. Kennedy thought it looked familiar but couldn't put her finger on where she had seen it before. Kennedy greeted Professor Light, "Good afternoon Professor. How are you?" Taking a seat in the front of the room, Kennedy placed her turquoise satin tote bag on her desk and began removing a peacock feather quill, ink, and parchment. She awaited for the lesson to begin.

Ariana had been walking down the corridor when she noticed class was about to start. Turning, she entered the class and smiled happily at Professor Light. "Hello professor, how was your summer?" she asked as she sat down and took out her quill, parchment and wand, getting ready. She knew she'd do well here since she spent all her life in the Muggle world.

"Hello everyone, thanks for coming. Remember, pencils or pens only for this classroom... no quills. I'll help you out if you don't have a pencil, just raise your hand."
Professor Light stood up from behind her desk, police officer hat still on, and walked around the classroom greeting the students.

Ariana quickly took out a blue ballpointed pen with little stars on it. Putting away her quill she made sure the pen worked by scribbling something onto the corner of her parchment. Satisfied she nodded and waited.

Hearing Professor Light's announcement, Kennedy put her quill away and pulled out a pen. Her Muggle aunt had given this pen to her over the summer to write letters to her while she was at school and Kennedy hadn't used it once. She looked at the black pen with gold writing on it. She thought it was probably a nice pen but it didn't compare to the beauty of her peacock feather quill. But then Kennedy thought, 'At least I don't have to reink this all the time' and smiled. She smiled at Professor Light and studied her hat as she waited for the lesson to start.

"Haha, yes correct! That is indeed a pencil." She smiled at the girl. Then she moved over towards Sam and tapped his quill with her wand. It transfigured itself into a pen. "That should last for at least 1 hour, Sam."
Professor Light clapped her hands together, "Alright, I'm sure we'll be having a few more people come in as the lesson begins, but I'd like to get started right away so I can review a little bit, like a usually do at the beginning of each lesson of the year."
Professor Light walked up the front of the classroom, and looked at the students. "So... who can give a basic definition of a Muggle?"

Bucky blinked and emptied her school bag a top her desk. There were several broken quills, a bottle of ink and a whole mess of parchment. Some scrunched up in balls and she spotted her poem. Clearing her throat she picked that and shoved it in the pocket of her robes. No need to have anyone read that, thank you very much.
"Um, Professor Dearest," she said raising her hand, her mind clearly elsewhere today.
Professor Dearest?
"I might have to borrow one of your muggle writing contraptions."

"Excellent, 3 points to everyone who volunteered a definition. Alright, let's get a bit more specific... can anyone name some Muggle specific careers? For example, we have a police officer as a Muggle carreer. We might have a similar type of person in our world, but no-one quite all that similar. Teacher, however, would not work because we have teachers as well, and they do pretty much the exact same thing." Professor Light waited for some volunteers to answer her question.

She found it hard to name off Professions, because several things were done in the Wizarding world, too. "We also have specific jobs, like a DADA teachers vs. a regular one."

There are two kinds, Criminal lawyers who handle the criminal cases, and Family lawyers , who handle family cases like custody battles. I don't know if we have the same thing or not though." she shrugged, writing it down just in case.
