Professor Erikson walks in and sets up the classroom, putting little paintbrush-looking things at each seat. On a blackboard he writes, "I have been called away on an important matter for the Ministry. Professor Blaylock will be substituting for me. I hope to be back before the end of class. Please treat Blaylock the same as you would for me, only actually pay attention. I will state the status of the quarantined plants when I return."
Checking everything over once more, he dashes out. ooc: As you come in, please describe the plant with you. If you aren't sure how to describe it, refer back to the previous thread. A small key:
Over-watering: Very broad leaves
Under-watering: Very narrow leaves
Too much sun: Tall and straight, bamboo-ish, bright green
Too little sun: Short and spread out, a little viney, grayish
If you want to go into more detail, feel free to check the last lesson. If you come to the thread late, go ahead and describe it while looking at it with the first post you make. If you post walking in after class has started, you will still be penalized. Please remember to say what color the flowers are. Even if you've mistreated your plant, it should still be blooming. I mean, it is a magical plant, after all. | |

Evan looked at Caitlin suspiciously. She couldnt be serious; he had just poked her in the face, and he'd been awfully mean to her since the beginning of the term. But whatever, he thought as he looked down at his partner, as long as the little chipmunk stops being so... awkward. "Alright, that's fine", he replied quickly. He brought his plant over to where the two girls were sitting and motionned for Molly to follow him. "Who wants to start?"

Speaking of Professor Erikson...where was he? She hated to admit it, but she quite missed him. And he needed to take his class back, they were probably going to jump up and hug him breathless when he came back, begging him to save them from the crazy lady.

Kennedy picked up her brush and collected pollen off the stems of one of her dark blue flowers and transferred it to Caitlin's plant. She then collected more pollen and transfered it to Evan's plant. "I guess that's it for me! Who's next?"

Natasha watched the class from her place on Armand's desk, and while they seemed to be getting along peacefully, she wrote a little note for him and stuck it under his books for him to find later.

It was funny though, and he still deserved to be hit for poking her in the face. She probably would've hit him, too, if Molly hadn't started crying.
She took her spatula thing and transferred some of her pollen to Kennedy's plant, then slowly to Evan's. She was afraid that, if she touched it to hard, the thing would die underneath the pressure.

Evan glanced curiously at Kennedy. Didn't she know he was just joking around? Ah well, acting was one of his strengths, after all. "Well I don't think there's much hope for little fellow," he snorted. He raised an eyebrow as Caitlin poked him. "I think I've already achieved that, thank you," he replied humorously, pointing to his hat.
Following the evil witch's instructions, Evan then proceeded to scoop up some pollen from his plant and transferred it to Kennedy's and Caitlin's plants. "Let's just hope that doesn't killed them," the seventh-year said with a small grin.

Kennedy smiled at Evan as he joked about his plant's pollen killing her plant. She secretly feared it might hurt her plant but didn't want to let on so she kept a small smile plastered to her face. To divert the conversation away from dead plants, Kennedy asked Evan, "So you're the Hufflepuff Quidditch captain right? How do you feel the match against Gryffindor is going to be? I'm on the Ravenclaw team and we're facing Slytherin in a couple weeks. I don't know if they're any good though."
