Lainey gave one of her own students a warning look. She had excellent ears, after all. What teacher didn't?

Brianna moved back over to Sarah because it definetly felt safer to be near a friend in this ceremony. She looked around and felt bad for the Slytherin Prefect who was told to give the Hart sister hug. It onlt would have been funny if that was Chikie, who had to give the hug. "Do you think it'll be here soon?" Brianna whispered to Sarah while trying not to bother anyone.

Sarah looked round to Brianna and said "I've no idea i have actually put something in the cauldron" Sarah looked ashamed but felt good at doing it

Julia smirked at the Slytherin prefect. Idiot, she thought. Even she wouldn't be that stupid if she was a prefect. She turned to Lainey. "How you holding up, professor? Nervous yet?" she teased gently. Geez, the Salem sisters sure seemed to be taking their good ol' time summoning the Book. Any slower and Julia thought she might fall asleep.

Zander sighed and shook his head, wondering if assisting the book rally was in fact an honorable thing to do. Either way, it seemed his Head of House was watching him. It wouldn't be an easy task to escape. Still, he couldn't remember why he had come to the rally in the first place. Oh right, the fascinating thing that is an actual book!

"You have more guts than me. I only put a replica of my item in." Brianna replied then thought I'd rather not put anything at all. She just couldn't get rid of her sour feelings towards these Salem witches.

Sarah nodded and said "Yeah but at least i put something real in i just hope that everyone that has put items in the cauldron will get them back"

"Headmistress Hart... we are happy to offer you the book in good will, trusting that you will do as we attempted to do all these years: protect it from those who would use its power for evil and selfish reasons. It has brought us great trouble and tragedy, but it has also restored to me the person who is dearest to me." She squeezed Lainey's hand again. "But if you don't mind... could you hurry?"

Lainey jumped a little. She'd been focusing ahead. "No, I'm fine. Just fine. Apprehensive and soon to be handless, but fine. I'm ready for it to be other with, truthfully. I'm ready to see the Book again, too. And, most of all I'm ready for us to be rid of it. It's been more trouble than it was worrrrrrrrrrth," Lainey squealed as Rae took out her... whatever she was doing... on Lainey's hand. "Yowzer! Please do!"

Marie was looking all this action from the back. She thought that the slytherin wasn't harsh at all. If she didn't want to put in anything that was her own choice. Marie wasn't going to put anything either. She still had doubt about the whole thing. She was extremely tired since she was there from the beginning. She was wondering for all long they will have to wait for the book the come back to the Hart sister. She thought about leaving & get back to the common room but she had to see if they will be able to get the book back.

"I also put a replica," Vince admitted. He noticed that the items were used being disappearing everytime. "Actually, I don't think you'll get the items back.. Did you see the cauldron? It's boiling hot, as I saw some items melting in it.." he said to Sarah.

Neva smirks. "Giving up isn't a major habit of mine, no." She looks at Natalie with a mixture of sympathy and incredulousness. " We all have secrets Natalie. It's just that yours have a knack of damaging others, not just yourself."

"My secrets don't damage others!" Natalie said, urgently. She looked away again, "Mine are just different, I guess. I mean, I have personal ones, which probably hurt me. But others are dark family secrets, which amaze me in a great way!" she looked back at Neva. "The dark arts attract me! I'm drawn to them...but that's not a secret! It's just some stuff that I have done or my family have done that are secrets."
Natalie shrugged. "Don't ask why I'm so drawn to the dark arts because I don't know, my self."
She suddenly remembered a question she had been itching to ask Neva.
"Oh yeah! There's something I want to ask you. When we first met, you said you heard Eliza and me in the Room of Requirment. Which was probably your first impression of me. Me, plotting to use the Cruciatus curse. But anyway, how did you hear us? When I left the only person I saw was Professor Prid-" she paused for a moment and raised an eyebrow. "Was it you who told her?" she asked calmly.

Tia frowned softly as AJ went on talking. “Yes, we haven’t talked for quite a time,” she said, with a little, friendly laugh. “I really am glad to talk to you again. But, all the same, I am pretty excited about all this, too. I mean, I can’t say I don’t expect something to go wrong –” she dropped her voice, to make sure that none other than AJ heard it, before continuing.

“– But if everything does go right, I’d like to have put something in,” she went on keenly. “It would really be a golden memory for me. After all, this is my last term here.” Already having dropped her book on dark and dangerous potions inside the cauldron as she had spoken – though she had taken out all the letters at the very last moment, and slipped them inside her pocket – she trailed off, sighing slightly, though not too audibly.

She shrugged, watching her surroundings. “So, do you expect everything to go right?” she asked in a whisper, not wanting anyone else to hear.

Neva rolls her eyes. "No. It wasn't me who told her. I simply wandered past on my way to meet a friend and saw you two entering the room, looking rather angry. Suffice it to say, my curiostiy got the better of me. I placed my foot in the door slightly to prevent it from closing, thus I was able to hear every word." she looks up at Natalie, convinced that she had made a rather horrible mistake that night, although her reasons were as valid as any.

Neva bites her lip and tries to account for herself. "I simply wanted to make sure you wouldn't do anything stupid. That's all." she says urgently. "The last time I saw a class mate walk into an empty room looking that angry....they never walked out again."

Neva, almost three years ago, had witnesses a rather close friend of hers at Beauxbatons walk into the dark Arithmancy classroom late at night. Thinking nothing of it, she had walked away. Only to realise the next morning that the student had cast the killing curse upon themself.

Julian turned back when he heard the Slytherin Prefect yelling. He grinned and shook his head. Finally someone told them off. It wasn't that he didn't like the Hart sisters, he just didn't much like what they were doing. And it was obvious what they were doing. He sighed, and just stood there, wondering if any of the students knew what was actually going on. It seemed that only the older students were realizing what was happening.

Sarah woke up at the rally again and thought i wish the sisters would hurry up it is very cold and she was running out of patience

Natalie nodded. "Well thanks for not telling on us then." she sighed and crossed her arms. "But you need to understand, we were REALLY angry back then and Joanna was our arch enemy." she sighed again. "Eliza had some sort of vision, don't ask me how because I'm not sure, that Joanna attacked me then I was in the Hospital Wing. I didn't know whether to believe Eliza at first, but then I did, because she's one of my best friends and my cousin. I asked her what was wrong with me, had someone used the Cruciatus curse on me? She said it was more like Sectumsempra. Right then I promised my self that Joanna wouldn't do anything like that to me or Eliza...so I got angry and plotted to get her before she got me. Which is what you and Professor Pride heard." Natalie looked at her nails. "Eliza hasn't had a vision since then. I don't know how she got it, or if it was even real. But I acted upon it, I wasn't gonna give anyone the chance to get me before I got them!"

Neva nods along silently as Natalie explains her feelings for Joanna. "I understand, although visions are not correct all the time" she digresses. She senses that the barriers formed between them have crumbled since she broke the feud.

Neva smiles at Natalie, not entirely sure whether she had quite gotten over the argument. Natalie's decleration regarding her mother's curses still niggled at the back of her brain. She decides to take a breath and ask Natalie about it.

"Erm....when you said that you lied about your mother and hat she did to you......erm, where you telling the truth? I mean, did you lie about what she did?"

Natalie shrugged. "Not entierly! You see, I didn't want to say that about my mother, but she insisted that I must to gain peoples trust." she shrugged. "It was pointless, but not a total lie." she looked at Neva then away. "My mother has in the past used that curse on me, yes, but only as a punishment if I did something wrong. But not often, it was mostly when she was angry." she looked down at the floor.
"I have so much respect for my mother, she is my idol and I don't blame her for using those curses on me in the past. As you know only too well, I can be a brat. She's not an awfull mother, it's just her way of punishing. But, saying that..she is a very dark witch. She uses that curse on other people more often than she does on me. She's in Azkaban for using the Unforgivable curses so I try my best not to cross her and to do as she says."
Natalie wondered if she had said too much, would her mother be okay with what she was saying?

Neva sighs. She still cannot comprehend why somebody would use such a curse on another human being, never mind their own child. She looks down at the floor. "You know you may be a brat sometimes, but that is still not a valid excuse." she shrugs. She didn't want to say anything to her that she may regret so she left it at that.

Natalie laughed. "I can be a bit more than a brat!" her facial expression turned sereous. "I'm no angel, Neva. My mother had her reasons, I don't question them."

Neva says nothing. She had tried to argue reason before but had failed miserably. She had learned from her mistakes and thus decides to leave the topic at that.

" Listen. I have to go. I need to see Erin about something. Be safe" She gets up and gives Natalie a swift hug. " I don't care if you're a man, a woman, a chicken or a candelabra. You have got to feel safe" she giggles. She stands up at full height. "I'll catch you later okay hun?"

With that, Neva turns on her heels to where Erin is stood singing with the Hart sisters.

Rachel looked at what the hart sisters was saying and rolled her eyes," whens this gonna be over im freezing out here," she thought to herself.

Natalie nodded. "Okay..bye!" she waved Neva off, a bit suprised from the hug, but she shrugged and got back to playing with her nails, boredly.
