Potions Master's Office You knock upon the door and a baritone voice bids you enter. You step into the mahogany shelf-lined room and look around. The shelves cover nearly every inch of wallspace, save for the fireplace. The shelves are lined with all sorts of books, parchments, jars, vials, and boxes. There is a fire in the grate and upon the fire is a cauldron bubbling with a thick green liquid. Just a few feet from the door, you bump into a leather chair, placed before a large mahogany desk which matches the shelves. A tall, salt and pepper haired, man dressed in black robes with glasses sits behind the desk. He pulls off his glasses and takes a hankerchief out of a pocket. He gestures to the chair with the glasses before cleaning them and placing them back on his face. "What is it you would like to speak with me about?" |
"Schmoop shan't be touching the Master's possessy-ons," the House Elf reminded himself as he scuttled into the Potions Master's Office. "Schmoop shan't be touching the Master's possessy-ons..." He hurried over to the fire place and wiggled his ears a little as he pointed a finger at the dead fireplace and started up a fire. "Off goes Schmoop to tend to more! Off goes Schmoop!" |
Professor Opteryx knocked tentatively on the door of the potions professor's office. Not getting a reply, he cautiously opened the door and took a look around, as if trying to locate something. |
Professor, when do classes exactly start? |
Kyle slowly wondered into the potions classroom expecting the lesson to have began and as he did so he walked into a girl from Hufflepuff. "hello i am Kyle whats your name?" *grins* |
Jara knocked on the door of the officem and walked in immediatley after. She looked around the room. Every inch of the wall was covered with shelves filled with the nessessary tools needed to attend the class. Wow, she thought. She suddenly spotted the strange looking man with black robes and glasses, sitting on his desk. That must be the professor, she said to herself. "Hi, I'm Jara. I'm in your house," she said casually, but politely to the teacher. Afterall, he was the Head of her House. "I just wanted to introduce myself to you. You might have heard of my family. The Malfoys. We've been in your house for quite some time now," she added, as she quickly glanced at the teacher. She smiled at him, and looked back down at her shoes, waiting for a reply from the strange teacher |
Kristen walks down the Potions Corridor, and pauses outside the professor's office. She takes a deep breath, before knocking on his door, her face expressionless. |
Drusilla is planning to visit their new Head of House, now she´s Prefect and all and thinks she ought to introduce herself. But then she sees all the people crowded near the door and even inside the Office - including at least one spare Professor - and thinks she´d better owl this Professor Branxton instead. She sighs. Last year she couldn´t make it to their HoH´s - it was the Herbology Professor then - office, how would it be this year? There was no doubt about it; she´ll simply have to introduce herself. She decides to send the owl to the Professor, but not quite now, later. Tomorrow maybe, as he seems very busy at the moment ... She almost misses their old ghost-Professor Airlia, even though it was obvious she didn´t much like her. She had a theory for the reason for that: she had spent too much time looking at the late Professor Snape´s portrait at her office, and obviously with too great an interest. With a new Head of House every year a ghost would come out handy, she thought to herself. You´d think a ghost would seldom change their position. |
Chelsea walked up to the professor's classroom door. She had heard alot of scary things about he professor and his class. She decided to wait outside and hope for someone to come along and go in with her. |
pauline walked up to the door and saw chelsea standing there "hi chelsea can we go in?" she asked her |
" Oh yeah. I was just waiting to see if any of my friends would come along. So you want to go in now?" |
Doyle looked up at the open door and noticed quite a few students milling around outside his office. He shook his head and continued making some notations until someone actually stepped inside and addressed him. Quote:

Gaby walks up to Professor Braxton's office and look inside the door. The room is full of Slytherins, so she decides to wait her turn. She can't help staring at the professor. Her sister had told her Professor Baxton has the nervous habit of constantly cleaning his glasses. Gaby couldn't help giggling when the professor took his glasses off and started cleaning them. |
Kristen gets tired of waiting, and steps into the office. When the professor is done talking to the other students, she steps up and says "Hello professor, I'm Kristen. 3rd year Slytherin. I just wanted to introduce myself." |

Layla knocked on the door & waited to be told to come in. She wanted to make a good first impression & didn't want to seem pushy. |
"Hello Kristen, I am pleased to make your aquaintance. I'm sure you'll do our house proud by earning as many house points as you can. I want Slytherin to win the house cup this year," Professor Branxton nodded and replaced his glasses. At a knock on the door, he leaned a little to the side and announced, "Enter." |

A red, curly haired girl walks up to the door of the potions master's office, takes a breath and steps past all the others. This was the class she's been waiting for the most and she wasn't going to waste anytime in introducing herself. After waiting for him to finish with the students in front of her, she steeped up and said "Hello Professor. I'm Aurore, I'm in Ravenclaw. You were saying that class start Friday right? Excellent! Thanks so much!" she said excitedly |
Leanne knocked on the Professor's door and waited to be invited in. |
"I won't take any more of your time professor, you look very busy. I'll see you soon." Kristen says, as she exits the room. |
Humming absantly, Bella walked into the office of the schools Potions Master. Her origional intentions had been to find the Library. But she far she was having very little luck. Another girl left just as she arrived, which brought her attention to the other people in the room. There was one man in pirticular, seated behind a large desk. He could be no one except a teacher. Bella froze, her quiet tune dieing in her throat. "Erm...sorry to b...bother you professor...." Bella stammered. "I...guess I got lost...but uh...Oh yeah my name is Isabella Rae Stephenson....this is my first year here. I'm in Slytherin." She reported, fighting her urge to be nervous. The girl was short, appearing to be about three or four years yonger than her real age, which was eleven years old. Her golden blonde hair was only a few inches long, and was spiked. Her lavender eyes were quite a contrast to her pale skin, which was only a shade lighter than her hair. |
Professor Branxton irritatedly waved to those knocking on his open office door. "Come in, come in, and just state your business," he said, turning to the next in line. "Yes, next Friday Aurore. And I am pleased to meet you, Isabella. I'm sure you will enjoy Slytherin house." |

Tonksamelia walked by Professor Branxton's office and peeked around the corner, then gave a small rap on the door, " Hello sir." |
