Jara walked over to where the balls were, and slowly took one out, scared as if it would bite her any minute. She then looked desperately around the room, trying to find a Slytherin to play with. With no luck she decided to find look for some from another house who couldn't find a partner to team with.

OOC: This is the important post peeps. Professor Light got off of her basket of balls and picked up on herself, along with a whistle she had pulled out of her desk. "Here are the rules. Now listen very closely. I’d hate, hate, hate, to take off class points, but I’ll do it in a second if I think anyone is going to get hurt. So please, don’t break these rules, for your own good." She paused, tapped the board for the last time, and the list of rules appeared on the board. She read them out loud. Quote:
- Don’t aim a ball at anyone as a “joke”. Trust me it’s not funny.
- Please ask me for help if you need it.
- NO MAGIC. This is Muggle studies after all…
- When I blow the whistle stop what you are doing immediately…
- You don’t have to participate, but hey, what fun is that? Trust me, I dislike sports, but I still tried quidditch every once and while.
- If you are Muggle born or have played before or are just bored, you might want to try some harder shots, or even make a two person game of PIG.

Jamie hurried up to the desk and grabbed a ball, she didn't want to miss out on this activity. When she got the ball she recognized the feeling of the ball almost instantly. She threw it up slightly and caught it, although she disliked basketball she was really good at the game.

Grabbing a ball Heshasa twirled it on her finger, she prefered soccer or football but baskeball was fun as long as it wasn't a full match like they had seen in the video. Silently she pushed her desk back. Dribbling the ball around a bit she smilied it was more fun than just sititng in one spot after all.

"Alright now, please stand up and come up to the front of the room."
Once everyone had done so, Professor Light pulled out her wand from behind her ear. She muttered a spell quiet enough that the students could not hear it, but suddenly, all the desks moved to the side of the room. The whole room was now filled with lots of space, and she smiled.
"Stay here please..." she walked outside very quickly. Soon, she was back in her room with a rope coming from her wand, and a basketball hoop attached to the end. Or about 20 hoops.
"I have a spell on these so that I can pull them in, but trust me, they way a ton. You do not want one of these on top of you..." While she laid out the rules, she moved the hoops with her wand to different spots in the room.
"Ok, you may now try out your awesome basketball skills. You will notice the first problem, the hard part for you guys… no flying up to the height of the hoops, and the hoops are at least 10 feet up. You'll have to jump and use your body strength to shoot the ball up there." She stopped for a second.
"Please remember the rules, and you may now go ahead and attempt to practice some shots. If you are already good at it, find someone to team up with, and try maybe to play a small game of PIG."
OOC: Ok people, remember now... you aren't all basketball stars yet. This is you chance to RP to your heart's content. Try to fill your RP with detail and really get into it... maybe you'll make a basketball playing friend!
