| | |  CoMC 1 - The Weird and Mysterious
Today’s lesson taking place inside, you walk into a large stone classroom with high windows. The room is bright and airy and filled with sounds and smells. The side walls are lined with cages of all shapes and sizes, and up the middle of the room is two long rows of wooden desks with very comfy chairs. At the head of the classroom is a large mahogany desk; behind it is a large tank covered with a sheet to hide it’s content.
Sounds of various animals fill the room and give it a never-ending theme song. As you walk in, the first thing you notice is the beautiful song of a magnificent Phoenix that is sitting on the professor’s desk. Calming you and making you feel less nervous, you walk confidently to find a seat.

Chris punched himself in anger for getting another question wrong. He divided his page again, this time drawing a bird.
Chris leaned towards Serilda, "I am the only one who doesn't know the answers to these questions?" he whispered very quietly. "Well the Doedoe bird is a extremly rare muggle bird . . . ." he said on a off-tone.

Kalaya glared at the Ravenclaw girl she had seen at the lake before. She hated it when people were rude to others.
Maybe their friends...and shes joking around. After all that is something I would say to my friend... Kalaya thought to herself. She quickly gave a weak smile and diverted her attention.
She knew the answer was indeed the Snidget, but others had already answered. Instead she started a new section of her notes for it.

Jara listened to the answers her classmates gave. They were indeed very wise. Wiser than her, at least. She shrugged, and started to copy down the answers her classmates gave.

Chris nodded and went back to hit drawing, finishing the bird, and writting the name of it. He was unsure what it looked like, so he made his own verson of it until he knew what it lookedl ike for sure.

Kalaya grinned at them and nodded her head to show that she understood. Kalaya decorated the name of the bird a little bit as she waited for the class to continue.

Amber Joy raised her hand and added quietly "The Golden Snidget is a small round bird, with a long thin beak, and ruby red eyes. It's feathers and eyes are so prized, that it was nearly hunted into extinction. The Snidget was also originally used in place of the Golden Snith in Quidditch, which would result in the death of the small bird upon capture. There are sanctuaries all over the world for it. Oh, and I think they are really sweet and cute."
