Professor Opteryx opened the classroom door and waited for the students to trickle in, seating himself at his desk. It felt good to be back at Hogwarts, though admittedly a little strange now that the roles were reversed. He'd never thought he'd end up as a Professor here.

This was going to be an interesting lesson indeed...

ooc: Yes, I'm about an hour early, because I may need to attend to some business later on.

Christy took note of her homework and copied carefully the runes from the board to her parchment. Then she closed her book and packed her stuff. She nodded silently to the Professor and left the classroom.

Fancy stared at Professor Opteryx incredulously, her bright blue eyes glowing with gratitude. It was hard to believe that with all history that they had learned during the course of that day's class, they didn't have to summarize any of it! Not wanting to seem as though she was protesting, Fancy quickly wrote down the assignment, thinking that it was going to be easy. Maybe it would, maybe it won't. Fancy would have to wait until she returned to the Slytherin Common Room that night to find out. Once she had written down the last of the homework, Fancy packed up her belongings and walked towards the door to exit the classroom. As she was leaving, she called out behind her:

"Goodbye Professor Opteryx! See you next class!"
