This time Jen definitely felt the charm succeed. "Good job," she said with a smile, "You definitely got it that time."

Jen continued smiling as she pondered the spell. She felt more carefree, even though she knew she had a lot of things to take care of later today, she felt like she could handle it.

"Ok, I guess it's my turn again," she said after a moment. Taking a breath, she commanded, "[i[/c]Gaudeo![/i]"

A warm fuzzy feeling came over Laurasia & she couldn't help but smile about it. She looked at Noel & giggled. "Yeah, it worked. I feel like a kid. I'd love nothing more than to roll down a grassy, sunlit hill." She smiled once again.

Hearing the professor's announcement, she looked over at Noel. "I'm going to try casting the spell without the incantation. You'll have to let me know if it works though."

She once again focused her attention on Noel while drawing her wand up. Due to the effects of Noel casting the spell on her, she couldn't help but have a serene smile on her face the entire time. As she turned all of her attention onto Noel she thought clearly in her mind "Gaudeo", while willing Noel to be happier at the same time.

Nadia nodded, gesturing that the professor had indeed responded her question and she had no more doubts. She was pretty sure the correct precedure was not to break the spell, but perform it on each other on this state of 'blissfullness' all the time. Kind of an encouraging disposition, though Nadia wondered if the happy thoughts would interfeer with their concentration. By the laughter of his companion... well, she didn't know if to laugh along or worry.

The other doubt she had was the power of the spell. Non-vb spells would work the easiest with the most powerful spells (or the ones you had the most facility verbally), and if this spell only lasted some brief time, it being difficult was a misunderstanding.

She gestured Ozzy to proceed, since it was his time to cast the spell anyways, and nodded to let him know he was ready. As soon, a spell shoot from his wand to her, hitting her just above the glasses. At first she felt nothing and then... it was like tickling, but innerly, and it was causing this embarrassed smile to come out. In fact, she looked quite dumb and felt quite dumb.

Pacilla nodded, smiling a little glad to have done a bit better at the spell. Then in few seconds silence she started thinking about how much other things she had to do that day, and wondered whether they'd have any charms homework and how she had to get to the library still. She started feeling really gloomy.

Then she looked up and couldn't believe she was thinking of her schedule that long and was about to say "sorry" but since Jen was ready she let it slip her mind and when she said the spell, Pacilla seemed to feel extremely cheerful and was smiling widely. "Haha, that was awesome Jen!" She then took her wand and said the spell "Gaudeo!!"

Calli looked over at Violet and said "ok, here goes"....

She screwed up her eyes and pointed her wand, and thought real hard about the incantation, She tried to picture Violet giggling uncontrolably, and peeked out one eye to see what had happened.

"hmm.. #$%;&!" "yikes that felt weird.... I only felt depression... maybe it didn't work..." Violet said sadly. "Maybe you have to say the spell in your head but I'm not sure." "Let me try and see if it works."
Violet started to concentrate on the word "Gaudeo" she concentrated and concentrated but nothing happened. But she tried and tried... then she felt some force coming out of her wand.

Jen smiled and this time it had nothing to do with the spell. Being unused to her spells actually working, this was a nice change for her.

"Thanks Pacilla," she replied when Pacilla complimented her. She waited for Pacilla to cast the spell again. When it hit her, it wasn't as weak as Pacilla's first attempt, but it wasn't quite as strong as the second.

"Not bad, although I think your last try was a bit more effective," she offered. She didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but she didn't want to lie either.

Rosa walked around the room to find someone to pair up with. when she couldn't find anyone, she just found a corner and started doing the wand movement without saying gaudeo, hoping that she'd overseen somebody and that she'd find a partner after all.

calli felt bad that her spell didn't seem to work, then as she was pondering it, she started to feel tingly, she started giggling, and knew Violet had managed the spell ok.


She started to cast her own spell again, and noticed Rosa wandering around looking for a partner..."Hey Violet, why don't we see if Rosa wants to come over and practice with us, i don't think the teacher cares if we are in groups of 3, as long as we are all working?"

Jenna looked up at Professor Zoa. Okay, silently it is! She thought. Concentrating hard, she pointed her wand at herself, and silently said the charm.

"Nothing," she said, opening her eyes (she hand close them out of instinct). "Best try again." She concentrated hard and prepared to attempt the charm once more.

Kristal looked down and attempted the charm. "Yes!!" Kristal said watching a perfect spell shoot from her wand. "Pretty easy, isn't it?" She said to the girl sitting a few seats away from her who also seemed to have accomplished the charm.

Ozzy lowered his wand and looked over to Nadia. "are you alright?" He asked her uncertainly because she had a very dreamy look upon her face. "I didn't get the spell wrong did I?" He thought to himself. "I'm pretty sure I got it right..."

Heshasa stared blankly at the proffessor. She mouthed hte word "silently?" She heaved a deep sigh and began to try and wordlessly do the spell. She pointed her wand at herself and thought as hard and she could "Gaudeo!"...nothing. A little disappionted but not entirely surprised she tried again and again. On the tenth time her face was forced into a smile, but as quickly as it had come it faded. Well atleats somehting happened she said grudgingly and began to practice some more.

alright. -she clears her throat and points her wand at ginn- ready? GAUDEO!!

Ginn waits as Emi casts the charm, then starts giggling as she feels it effects on her. Her smile gets a little wider and she laughs loudly for a minute. It then starts fading away but she continues to smile.

"It was real good that time Emi. Do you want to try it silently now? I can already do some thing silently." Ginn says to her.

you try first. then i'll go. -she smiled-

Ginn concentrates on the charm, imagining Emi feeling uplifted and happy. She points her wand a Emi and thinks "Gaudeo!" and hopes the spell is effective.

Marvolo sees ginn walk in.Marvolo nodded to ginn.

Ginn smiles at Marvolo and says "Come join us, it's almost your turn Marvolo."

Sangeetha sat there feeling completely stupid. She had her wand out but what was the use of that without a partner? Sheresolved for the most ridiculous thhing...try the charm on herself. Feeling apprehensive, she pointed er wand at herself, praying that she wouldn't blast her face.

'Gaudreo!' she muttered, but immediately regretting it because she knew she had pronounced incorrectly. Her wand shot out a muck like substance right at her face. It even manged to get into her mouth. She blushed so much that she thought that this substance would even melt away. She pointed her wand hastily at her face again.

'Scourgify!' and her face was clean. She pulled out a bottle of water from her bag to wash her mouth. The tactics!

She pointed her wand again at her face and said clearly.

'Gaudeo!' and she felt an exhilirating feeling as though she was going to have a good happy day. Thank Goodness the spell went right without muck. But she knew that she needed a partner and she prayed that nobody saw her "incident".

Marvolo points his wand at Ginn "Gaudeo!"

Nadia turned to Ozzy, still feeling quite dumb, giggly. The big smile must have been enough of an answer. But there seemed to be a sense in her that was fighting to keep her senses for some reason. It was difficult to fight happiness, and indistinctibly Nadia wondered if this would be how Imperio must feel like. Maybe a cheering charm was the best kind of practice against Imperio, indeed.

In the end, it wasn't so hard to fight. Sangeetha's incident was a bit too loud to miss. Nadia grimaced at the tip of her wand, now fearing what might come from it if... well, anyways, back to practice. Still with her previous worries on mind, Nadia made a small note to try later and as the last of the spell wore off, she raised her wand and performed, "Gaudeo!" pointing Ozzy's way.

Ginn immediately starts feeling happy-go-lucky again so soon after having the charm cast on her. She laughs for a few minutes, then calms down as the charm starts to wear off.

"That was real good Marvolo. But wow, wish everyday felt that good." She said to him.

-emi giggles, but it doesn't last long- no worries, it WAS only your first try, hun. is it my turn? who am i casting on?

Ginn smiles at Emi saying "Well, some silent spells I"m better at. Why don't you cast on Marvolo now. I think he needs a little laugh."
