AIGHT. HERE WE GO. Greetings one and all, and welcome to the 8th Annual Member of the Month for 2012 Interview. On our throne, here, we have a Magical Soul indeed... also know as LAILA! Queen Laila, do introduce yourself.
*SQUEEEEE* AHEM... I mean, yes.. this is Queen Laila acting so casual and nonchalant because this is obviously not my first interview or crowning ceremony. *JHGFKJD* So It's Laila, not Leila whatsoever and yes there is a difference, I'm a very random twenty three years old who works as a nutritionist and pharmacist-assistant half the day and a very addicted SSer for what's left of those 24 hrs. :3

Ooooooooooooooh! You're only a TEENSY bit older than me, and lookitthat, already a Queen. Tell us, Laila NOT Leila Whatsoever, where is your humble palace located? Hehe.
I am? *looks doooown at you* My palace is right next to the Atlantic city, of course! Hehe... and you could find me somewhere in the Middle East.. but that's just cloned Laila, not real Queen Laila. *ahem*

Anddddd what do you do on SS? You have some JOBS, I know, other than Being Awesome.
HEHEE. I doooo have some jobs! Other than being a dedicated member, of course, I am one of the writers in the SS Yearbook, and I'm a shopkeeper assistant in Diagon Alley.

Niiiiiiiice. DA's a fun place to be, especially if you love RPing! You DO love RPing, don't you?! IS THAT WHY YOU JOINED SS? *shoves microphone atchoo*
Mhhmm-- *mic attack* I DO I DO I DO BELIEVE IN FAIRIES! Oh wait.. I mean I DO love RPing!! But no, actually, that's not why I joined SS. lol. I was a member at another HP fansite, which's now shut down, and I knew someone from SS on that website (Manal), she introduced SS to me practically FORCED me into joining too. SO, I joined coz I'm in luuuuuurve with Harry Potter and by sheer accident, and while I was wandering around the forums I spotted the RPG area and was like 'Huh. This could be interesting' & IT WAS! it's one of my favorite places on SS now. :33

Hahahahahaha. You're funnnnnnnie, did you know that? Heh. Well we're glad you were forced to join. Cuz without Louuuuuuuisaaaaa, SS would be a much more boring place. *nods*

Heheheh. So we all know you, by admission, are in luuuuuuuuuurve with
Harry Potter. How/why?
Oooooh, thaaaaaat's history, my gal. *pats a spot next to my throne* It was around 2003 when I also accidentally spotted Harry Potter PS movie on TV, and I liked it. Then I went down to the DVD store and bought the second movie and liked it even more! I hit the internet and read aaaall about the Harry Potter fandom. I was stubborn to try the books out because I didn't read English books like that at the time, but being the curious me, I borrowed the first book and got SUCKED into JKR's world. Not to mention my over-the-top happiness at finishing my first English book ever without using a dictionary. *giggles* So yeah... Harry Potter was the first series of books that I read in English AND without any help. *tears up*

Aww that's such a good story! It just goes to show that the beauty of these books are their international appeal and ability to bring together fans from all different cultures. *hands you a fancy hanky* Since we're on the topic of HP/books, which one is your favorite? FAV CHARRIE? Least favorite character?
*blows nose not-so-fancily* Exactly! Ohhh, that's a cruel question! D: I love everyone! Even Voldie... when he was a kid... and a hawt young man *giggles* AHEM but... if you really want to know, since I'm the queen and all, Snape comes to my mind first when someone asks about my favorite character. His story is just so deep and meaningful and makes you want to snuggle with him and shampoo his hair tell him that he did great when he served the good without looking for any open credit from others. ;___; I love the Weasleys too, and then Hagrid... and Dobby! ;____; And... yeah, everyone else.

Who I don't really like, or I just snort or roll my eyes at most is Albus Dumbledore. I just.... don't really get him.

*laughs* Yes the shampooing is a MUST. MUST shampoo him before you can snuggle. Heh. BUT WAIT! What is this? ARE YOU RITA SKEETER? How can you NOT like Dumbledore?!! *crowd goes silent with shock*
*gulps* Err... uhh... w-w-wellllll... I think his beard and wizardy hat look good on him.........?

All right, all right. We forgive you. *used to be DumbledoRO instead of BanaBatGirl* But you didn't answer my question about favorite book? Anddddd favorite HP movie? What ARE your thoughts on those? I'm assuming you like them, since they're what got you INTO the books in the first place...
You were a DumbledoRO? That's a cool name. *awwwwkward*

I obviously can't choose at all among seven books! I'd say I enjoyed the third and fourth books the most, but that wouldn't be fair because I think they were the start of something new somewhat. Most of the characters starting to grow up and develop as teens, as well as secrets starting to get revealed and stuff like that. As for the movies, I'm not really a fan of the movies anymore. *hangs head* I loved them before I read the books but then… they just never lived up to my expectations after JKR's awesomeness.

Hahaha not as cool as Batgirl though, psh. YOU MUST CHOOSE! CHOOSE WISELY! [/Indiana Jones] They were totally thes tart of something new. Heh. We forgive you for not liking the movies. We're all BOOK fans here, anyway.

So, now that we're all HP'd out (as if that's possible), tell me what OTHER books/movies/music/activities you enjoy when you're not SSing.
OH PHEW! *siiigh of relief* When I'm not SSing or HPing! Okay! I read. A LOT. And almost anything my hand or my lappy mouse gets on. I'm a Louisa May Alcott fan *hint hint* and I fall in love easily with all classic books.

I also used to watch a loooot of movies, but now I don't really get the time to. >.< LOTR movies are my ULTIMATE movie obsession of course!!!!! Aaaand music is very unstable in my life. xD I listen to Evanescence a lot, Lara Fabian, Blue & Westlife (when they used to be together), Rihanna, Delta Goodrem... err.. many many others.

As for outdoor activities, I LOVE jogging, swimming and just walking by the beach - we have a beach house so I grew up staying by the sea and on the golden sands pretty much all the day in summer. :33 THAT is my fav activity! ^__^

I should add 'talking'...... because I'm a talker.... obviously.

ahhhhhh HA! So THAT is where you got the name Lousia from! *catches on* I like that you like classics. Not many people do! But *I* do! *wants to be an English teacher* lol. LOTR is good... um.... and I know RiRi and Evanescence. xD A beach house... *dreamy sigh* That must be awesome! I am a bit jealous of you, Queen Laila. Heh. You must tell us... what do you like to EAT? Is the food different in Syria? :3
*luffles on ur English-teacher-dream* I wanted to study English too back in university... but... I ended up in med school. FOOD! It's my main career and pleasure, hehe. Food isn't different in Syria but the way we prepare meals is, yush! :3

I am a very picky person when it comes to food, soo I can sum it up by saying that I am a vegetarian and I don't eat sea food. xD Except for certain kinds of fish.

I FORGOT TO MENTION PRETZELS *collateral panic attack* Because I could eat that for daaaaaays... and I call myself a Pretzelette. You call me Queen Pretzelette too, coz I used to ask people to do it but they never did. So... by the power of my throne, I demand it.

You're probably healthier than us all anyway, QUEEN PRETZELETTE. You are healthier than the rest of us, since APPRENTLY you like vegetables. And I was gonna ask... what's your favorite food?
Hehe, yes, most of my meals are veggies. :3 My favorite is Lasagne! and hummus... just not the fake canned hummus you guys have, we have the original DELISH hummus in here

Oooh Lasagna! I love lasagna! Have you ever tried goat cheese and spinach lasagna? SURPRISINGLY DELICIOUS, even for a meat lover. Heh. I was SO gonna ask you about hummus, too.
No! I did try the spinach lasagne but I don't think it was goat cheese with it... more like cheddar. xD BUT I LOVE IT ANYWAYS. :3333 as long as they remove the minced meat from my dish, hehe. & I AM PSYCHIC... concerning the hummus
