*peers through the tree leaves* She's... ugh no that's a bird, nevermind. Not there. *searches through branches* Hello there SSers! Today we're high in the treetops looking for our next super elusive Member of the Month. However... I can't seem to find her. She's hiding.
*peers down from hastily constructed bunker (squirrel nest) and throws an apple* Hi Ameh!

D: Oh my goodness! *catches apple and teeters on the branch* There! There she is! Close-up, camera two. Everyone, meet Ashwinder, our MotM!
*hides in nest, peeking eyes over top of leaves* Why the camera and the filmingness? I like being elusive, ya know.

We need to film the interview, silly! Otherwise, what's the point of doing it? *climbs a bit higher* Care to introduce yourself to the folks at home? Give us all the vitals and such.
Vitals are steady, as usual, and I'd like it muchly if they stay that way indefinitely. Hello folks at home *waves* I'm Ashwinder. *glances at Ameh* And! I have no idea what else I'm supposed to say?

Your name, mayhap? Age, country of residence, what you're doing and stuff like that? Hehe give us a quick biography or something!
Oh. Okay, yes, I can do that. *clears throat* I'm Heather, and currently I'm a beautifully symmetrical 22 years of age. Yes, yes I am. Proud to be Canadian, what with our freaky weather and moose running around everywhere. I just finished a WEEK of NO caffeine and NO sugar and really? That is why I'm in this tree. Because going cold turkey messed with my head. A lot.

oooooh I thought you were in this tree because it's easier to surprise people from above. *nodnod* Good to know, good to know! *makes note of this* Well Heafer... would you care to tell us how you managed to find our lovely site?
Sure thing! I found out from my roomie, who oddly enough told me about it two days after term 23 started.

Bad timing, that.
yeah, but at least it gave me three months to follow along and get to know the site, so it's not all bad. That, and I sucked in a bunch of my friends in the time before term 24 started.

Oh truuuuuue! You did bring a whole load of people along with you. Which we're all thankful for, we love getting fun new members on our site.

And I'm very glad you stuck around! So when you first joined the site, what exactly attracted your attention? What did you do while waiting for the School Sorting to happen again?
I was interested in the School RP because, let's face it, that's where the Harry Potter books took place. Whenever I take it in my head to write a HP fanfic, I always toss out all the characters and just use the world, so that made the school sound ideal to me. While I waited? Cruised around, stalked a few people, GOT stalked (that was weird, who stalks a teal?)... just stuff like that, really.

I think a lot of people get interested in the RP right off. And I see you were veeeeery active in the RP last term, your character is FUN. I like him. *nod* And plenty of people stalk members who haven't been sorted yet; it all depends on what they're doing. Hehehe.

So would you say that the School RP is definitely your favourite part of the site? Do you haunt any other places?
And you are absolutely not biased at all in the charrie lovins, right? Right. Yeah, I'd say the school is the best. I've gone into a few of the Diagon Alley RPs, and tried to start one, but it's really hard getting other RPers to commit. At least the school is always there and chugs onwards regardless.

Not biased at all toward the dear Kellen Stern. And I'm glad you love the school best. We share that. =D Hmmm... so I guess we should ask some general Potter questions. How did you stumble across Harry Potter?
My mom brought the first book home and said that some teachers on her staff at school were raving about it. After that we bought the books... well, I wouldn't say ZEALOUSLY, but... within a few days of each book's release.

Haha.

Go mum! I think you contracted Potteritis, you did. Did you read them quick, too?
Yeah, I usually finished the books within two days.

Ooooh, awesome! And which was your favourite?
Hmm... I'm not sure... I liked the first ones more, though Umbridge was pretty awesome in a "I want to stab you with a spoon" type way.

Spoons are AWESOME stabbing implements. And I'm not surprised you can't pick a favourite. D= Indecisive! Do you have a favourite HP MOVIE?

Nyargh! *pushes the apples aside to make room* I dunno? I really liked that the most recent movie did a throwback to the happier feel of the earlier ones because... let's face it... Harry is REALLY emo. Like... WOW that boy needed to stop being angsty about every little thing. But the earlier movies had some animation problems that got me, like the phoenix from the second movie. Animatronic, what?

Most people liked the earlier movies, I think. Do you like movies that AREN'T Potter movies?
Um, YA. It would be a tragic existence if the only eight movies I could ever bring myself to watch were the HP movies.

Also... very repetitive.

Care to enlighten us? What movies titillate the senses of Heafer?
My absolute FAVOURITE movie EVAR is The Thief and the Cobbler. The original. No recobbled. That version is trash. The original is so much win I huggle the case every time I go to watch it. I'll watch pretty much anything? But I like animated movies and action movies the most.

Animated movies are loooooove. And Action movies too! Explosions? Car chases? Epic soundtracks to go along with said chases and 'splosions? Yessss.

Speaking of that... musics? You like it?
I do like the musics, but not the rap musics because that's talking to a beat? And I don't consider that music. *ducks thrown objects*

Haha. Any specific artists you enjoy?
mmmm..... nope! Although Two Steps From Hell is an awesome Trailer Music band, I recommend

I'm sure people will check them out then! So we've covered movies, and musics... now. We are on to BOOKS. Any specific titles/authors you enjoy? Besides, you know, our dear Miss Rowling.
I LOVE Brent Weeks. Much loves. Also, Mercedes Lackey's collab books with James Mallory, aaaand Sarah Douglass BUT the end books in her series are always terrible. In my opinion. She makes EPIC worlds and plots and characters, and then pfffft. Terrible conclusions. I also like Naomi Novik's series on Temeraire. Highly recommended, that one.

So Sarah Douglass is all build up and then fail endings?

I will make a note of this. I'm sure some reading lists just expanded.

Have some, they're yummers. We've covered music, movies, books... how about dessert? I like pie.

I write an ongoing collab with one of my buddies on another site. And go to class. And do homework. And I like sleeping because my sheets are FLANNEL.
*refuses to share sheets* Hey, I'm going to go listen to Sheets of Egyptian Cotton now. That's a fun song lol

D= You're so selfish. Your sheets sound like BLISS. And an ongoing collab? What is that exactly?
well, it's kinda... we have a plot SORT OF in mind, but we play around with characters. It's neat, because we have COLOUR characters and then DEFAULTIE characters, which are the default post colour. Colour characters are like the main ones? That you get attached to? And defaulties are characters that the colour characters are allowed to boss around, etc. So... if you want to post a scene that shows your character, say, picking the pockets of five or six people? Someone else would RP as those five or six defaulties.
