Dress like the stars of the Wizarding World
 

People no matter what their age just love dressing up and that is why fancy dress parties are so popular. For those who are looking for some inspiration ahead of their next party, the wonderful Harry Potter films and novels are a great place to start. Entering the door to Harry's Wizarding World is as easy as saying "Alohomora". There are many characters for people to base their fancy dress ideas on, and because this is a world of fantasy, these costumes can be worn by party goers of all ages.

Those going to a fancy dress event dressed as character from Harry Potter can put together a costume made up from items of clothing at home, or alternatively, for that really authentic look, they can purchase costumes from one of the specialist fancy dress shops which have popped up in the shopping malls in the United Kingdom.

A popular character to dress up as is Harry Potter himself. To put together a costume and look like Harry an old black robe is needed, such as the type worn by students at graduation ceremonies.These are not always easy to find but a store which hires out these robes may be willing to sell an old one cheaply.
