We're celebrating Halloween with Warner Bros Shop - or rather, WBOOShop - with a wizard hat contest we'd like to call the 'Maddest Mad Hatters'.

The object of the contest is to create the craziest, weirdest and original wizard hat that Harry Potter himself would wear if he were attending a Mad Hatter's party. The photo must contain Harry actually wearing the hat.

Here's an example done via MS Paint (forgive me for my lack of skills):

It must be a wizard hat (several types can be seen below, just to get an idea). Any format can be used: paper and pencil/pen/marker/paint; MS Word, PaintShop, PhotoShop - as long as it is your own original creation. Heck you can even handmake a real hat if you want to!

However, what is not allowed is a trace or a copy of photos that already exist online or in print of wizard hats (this has to be original, after all). So, please, use the hats below as a template to get your imagination going, but do not copy any.

The photo itself must be, at the minimum 400x400 pixels in size, and 1800x1800 at the most. No image should be over 500kb (we're not asking for murals here).

In order to submit a photo, you must be a member of SnitchSeeker (you can register here). When you're done, simply upload it to the Gallery.

When uploading, you will be prompted to put the photo in a particular album. The album to choose will be the 'Mad Hatter Contest' one under the 'Fanart' category (find 'Fanart' in bold, and select 'Mad Hatter Contest'). The photo will be visible to both the member who added it in and to the site staff.

One entry per person, please!

The contest will run from today, October 16, to next Sunday, October 25, closing at 11:59 p.m. EST., and is open to all SnitchSeeker members worldwide.

As for the prize, the winner can choose any of the following wizards' hats at the WBOOShop site.

We're not too fussy about the Harry image - just make sure the hat is original.

You shouldn't worry about not being able to see it; if it said it was uploaded and the admins will be able to see it, then it went through okay.
