This round of Ministry placement is now closed! Thanks so much to everyone who applied, and we look forward to seeing you in the roleplay! We are currently in the process of making a few last minute placements from those apps already sent in, plus we're making the rounds putting in tags and posting permissions. Some of you may receive your PM first and your tags/permissions last, and then some of you may see your tags and permissions come in before you get your PM. If you happen to spot a tag come up on your profile before your PMed, then please expect your PM soon. Feel free to play in the Atrium area until your PM arrives.

Don't worry, you'll be sorted as soon as possible, so it shouldn't be too much longer. I'm not sure how soon 'soon' is, but you can be rest assured that we're doing our best to get everyone sorted and tagged and given the appropriate permissions. We read through each and every application from start to finish, so it takes a little while to figure out the best possible place to sort your character. We're definitely working on it, though!

I'm looking for someone who'd be willing to wite up a letter of recomendation for my Charrie :). Maybe make up a history between the two so the letter could make some sense.

You're more than welcome to make the recommendation letter up, but if you don't want to, then I have quite a few "older" characters and I wouldn't mind writing up one for your character =) Or anyone's really. If you click on my siggy, you'll be taken to my RP blog, where you'll see quite a few characters along with when they went to Hogwarts, what they're doing now, etc.

I'm basically new to the whole new MoM and this question is really puzzling me, I'm not sure how to answer it. Can anyone help me?

What it's basically saying is IC write if you are re-applying or if you're new to the MoM just say that you are.

MyPatronusIsaMoose is right. That question is for your character--does he or she currently work for the MoM, or no? Pretty much, it's for members with a character who has already been sorted into the MoM and has already received a position through a previous sorting. If that doesn't apply to your character, just answer "No."

I've already turned the application in and I went ahead and said no, 'cause my gut told me to...but now it makes sense. :yes: Thank you for explaining properly. :)

I applied wow can't wait to get my results but I have a question when do I get my results? so I know that somthing didn't go wrong by the way the quiz is very well sorted and hae good questions I liked taking it

I saw your application, but I thought to go ahead and answer anyway just in case someone else had the same question. You're welcome and glad you got your app in!

The earliest you should expect your results is a week after you send the quiz in. That's at the earliest, though, and it can sometimes take up to the full two week placement period to get results sent out. Although we try our best to send out results as quickly as possible, there are lots of steps your app goes through before it's completely finalized. It does sometimes take a while, but you can be rest assured, we are doing our best to get it to your asap!

In the MoM, it usually takes between 1-2 weeks to get your results. It's not uncommon for some apps to take the entire sorting process to complete, but that's only because we have a very thorough way of sorting. Your app likely goes through three different people before you get your PM, and we all look through it carefully to determine the best place for your charrie. I can't give you an exact date as to when you'll hear back, but we're working on it!

To find an image for your charrie, just figure out which celebrity closely matches how your character should look. Then go to any search engine or image site and look for pictures of that person. Then you can always go to SnitchSeeker's graphics section, Madame Malkins, and have a graphics set made for your character if you'd like.

Submitted mine, and I'm excited. Gosh, it's been so long since I RPed in the Ministry. Or, well, really SS at all. Good to be back though. :)

just realised that every time someone mentions their work placement at my college (end of high school for all you americans out there) I get really excited about the ministry placement XD

Filled mine out at work, and neglected to notice that it was supposed to be in character. >.< Hope that won't be a problem.

Okay, I just took a look at your application. Which parts of it did you answer OOC, because it looks like a lot of your written answers are about the character himself.

We ask that you fill it out in-character, because when we do the hiring, we're hiring characters (their qualifications, backgrounds, work interests, etc.) rather than the OOC member. We have individualized jobs in each department, and the job your character ends up with will be reflective of your application. So if it's OOC, we can't assign the character a job that will fit him.

Your application looks IC to me, though, which is why I thought to ask which parts you were referring to in your question.

Yes, sometimes your department head receives your application and processes it earlier than we make the rounds putting in tags, but your tag will be changed soon! ^_^

i took the placement for a replacement i took it monday and my in law to it monday too so when will i get the pm.

yay im happy with where i got placed i will be unleashing deliah when i get back from vacation as im away on friday and i dont have a lot of time to rp just now
