Default Harry Potter Movie Marathons
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.

HP movie marathons are quite popular, whether it be on a streaming service or whether it be via DVDs/Blu-Ray. How often do you have such marathons? Is only around Halloween? Christmas? Or perhaps just at a random moment? Are you more into hosting watch parties, or do you prefer to watch the movies alone?

Let's discuss these timeless movies!

So the HP movies are airing right now... I haven't watched them in a few years. Anyway, I used to really dislike Prisoner of Azkaban because I felt like it did horrible injustice to the book (which was one of my faves), but watching Prisoner of Azkaban just now tonight brings up so many feels and it was actually quite well done.

Goblet of Fire is definitely still aggravating on sooooo many levels But I suppose them teenage hormones be running rampant, still though ... there's other bits that are bothersome, like Moody .

I prefer to watch movies alone and this extend to the HP movies as well. I've never had an HP marathon during the course of 1-2 days but I did have them over the course of about 2-3 months. That was the time I took to watch the 8 movies {factoring in RL happenings and the level at which I was occupied with those things, of course} a couple of years ago.

Once again ... another wizarding world weekend on Bravo ..... also, is it me or did Neville / Matthew Lewis have his glowup from the beginning of OotP compared to the end? For some reason I thought it happened between different movies but I think it maybe occurred DURING ootp filming????

Edit: also I'm really bothered by when Harry is going to look for Ravenclaw diadem, and he doesn't want to stop for a minute to listen to Luna. I'm like "you NEED a Ravenclaw!!!".. which quickly changed to "room of requirement? No. You're supposed to go to the common room?!" But I guess that was something that changed from book to movie lol
