As Chad waited to help Rinatta sit down, he caught someone else coming into his room. When the door was closed. AND without knocking. Really? ...

Chad stared at the woman with a raised eyebrow. "I am sorry, but I have request that you leave my office for now. I am about to have a very private discussion with Mademoiselle Cross. Come back later and when you do, please knock this time. It is not very polite to walk in on your own accord."

Rinatta really thought she was going to hex this guy. She may not be as large or intimidating looking as the men in the office ,but she could more than hold her own in a fight, whether physical or magical. I'll wrangle you quicker than a dragon if you keep staring at me like that. She was much more easily offended right now and simply let his comment slide. She just let him leave without fanfare or retort, she was not a child....her 'blood pressure' was the least of her concerns though.

Rin simply nodded to Drago to indicate that she had indeed heard him. She didn't need to add 'dating a co-worker' to this on top of it. She could talk to him when she got home.

She smiled back gently and bowed her head politely as he asked her to sit. When he pulled the chair out and motioned, she thanked him and rather slowly eased herself into a sitting position. She wasn't showing too much yet....but she was showing and it was taking her more to adjust from sitting and standing than normal. She was starting to prefer standing even more.

After managing to adjust herself to a semblance of comfort someone else just entered? Why....did no one knock? Earlier they had sort of been assembling ,but right now things had concluded and he had just made everyone else leave. These people were making her stressed. He wasn't a kindergarten teacher, these people were supposedly adults and should know better. She was uncertain as to the precise amount or context of what Chad wished to discuss, but she had a clue about one thing.

Emerald was takened back and ashamed. "Oh, sorry! I'm so sorry! I'll go now!" Great. How can she forget her manners? She forget to knock?? Maybe Emmy was too anxious to know about the meeting that she forgot. She sighed and planned to come later. And she walked out of the room.

After the last person had finally left and the door was locked, Chad took a seat down in his own chair across from Rinatta. He gave a tired sigh and rubbed his temples, finally sitting back and giving her a smile.

"Hello, Mademoiselle. How are you feeling?"

Rinatta watched Chad sit across from her with a tired sigh and she gave him a sympathetic look. When he rubbed his temples she felt she might be able to relate a little. As he sat back and smiled, she gave Chad a soft smile that was almost apologetic.

How was she feeling? Oh lords....she better not answer that in how it came to mind..."Hello again Monsieur. I have been better, but I am doing well enough." Been better...what an understatement. She had been worse but..."And yourself?" He looked stressed and tired. Not that these people couldn't do that to you easily enough.

Chad did a sort of shrug and nonchalant hand wave. "Eh, nothing a nice back rub cannot fix." He did a sort of snort and smile as he quickly tidied up the papers on his desk. "You...a little stressed," he finally asked, looking towards her. There had to be a reason for her smacking Dunwich.

Rinatta watched him shrug and wave his hand. A back , that actually didn't sound too bad ,but it wouldn't relieve her stress and tension. Was she a little stressed? Try, VERY. She wasn't going to say that though. "A little, yes." She was uncertain of what else to say. I am now an expectant mother of three, involved with a co-worker, extremely nauseated and uncomfortable 'round the clock, having uncontrollable mood swings, and have now being given the worlds most irritating employee from hell! That is just for starters. Wouldn't you be a little stressed !? She breathed in a little and sat as straight as she could manage comfortably. "I didn't mean to be quite so harsh.." ...but I swear he is a prat.

Chad tilted his head and smiled at her gently. "I know you didn't. Monsieur Dunwich can be slightly infuriating sometimes and great deal of patience is needed." He leaned back in his seat. "It felt good to hit him, didn't it?" Chad grinned.

Rinatta returned a gentle smile as he did ,her face showing that she was indeed weary. She gave a nod and a sigh when he said that he could be 'slightly' infuriating and you needed patience to deal with him. When he leaned back in his seat and asked her if it feel good to hit him with a grin, she laughed. She couldn't help it."It did." She admitted with a returned smile and a relieving sigh. "Mr. Magician...um....Dunwich...I don't believe that I have ever had such an insufferable employee in my life..." That was saying something too, this wasn't her first job in which she was someone else's boss. Far from her first. "You are such a good boss, I am afraid that someone speaking to you in such a manner upset me very much...." Yet again understatement...made her protective mommy instinct kick in was more like it.

Chad chuckled a little, picking up a quill and starting to twirl it amongst his fingers. "Eh, do not worry about me. I can take of myself, just fine." He shrugged a little and looked up from the quill at her. "But, we cannot just go smacking employees around the head. You of all people know that." Ohh, he hated having to be responsible...

She smiled gently at him when he said he could take care of himself just fine."I am certain." When she was in mommy mode it didn't much matter if you could defend yourself or not. Her smiled into a soft ,acknowledging frown. "I do know...I honestly didn't mean to actually do it..." She sighed gently. "I...had been meaning to speak with you soon.." She needed a break and that became starkly apparent when she had cuffed Dunwich. Though truly she had been wanting to for awhile...but still....

She wanted to speak to him? Oh.

"Err, okay. What is on your mind?" He put the quill back onto his desk so that he could pay attention to whatever she wished to speak about.

Rinatta nodded softly ,considering how to phrase what she was going to say. She was clearly thinking and then straightened herself again. "Well, I have quite apparently been stressed as you could tell..." Oh merlin that wasn't even half of it. "It is....not just directly from Mr. Dunwich...." Though Merlin knows he is an aggravating , intolerable, inconsiderate..."I was going to speak to you about needing a leave sometime in the near future..." It was clear she was reluctant and did not want to be saying this.

Oh no.

Chad bit back the urge to pout. He wasn't liking the sound of this...

"How long?"

Rinatta gave Chad a soft smile when he asked how long. That....was a really good question. How long would she be gone for? How long would she need? At least until she had her children and about a month after. She could stay here a month longer maybe if Dunwich didn't keep pushing her buttons...."How long is allowed for....maternity leave?" She had hidden it pretty well, but she wouldn't be able to much longer. Her moodiness was starting to show for certain, she may have seemed ill to others, her robes hid her waist for the most part though and no one else had known or noticed.

missy knocks on the door and waits to talk to mr.s she pulls up chair to the by the door and sits she starts to get sick she walks fast to hte bathroom

Chad blinked. Wait, she wanted maternity leave? Oh.

...Was it horrible of him that he hadn't noticed? Oops...

"I believe you get a year for maternity leave," he answered, nodding his head slowly.

missy comes back to the door and knocks

Rinatta nodded with a soft smile as he said a year. That might work, if she could convince her aunt to move here with her...or.....perhaps if she could schedule things around with Cara...She would never leave her children with someone she didn't implicitly trust her own life to. Even with Cara she might not....."It is regrettable for me to say, because I dearly love working with you and I do like this job very much, but......I am going to need to put in for it Monsieur." Oh dear queasiness again as someone was knocking. She resisted the urge to scream, she knew someone was skulking by the door earlier and now they were knocking.......She gave him a weak look of irritation. "I could wait perhaps a month before needing to take it officially ...until you had a replacement?" She didn't like the idea of leaving him with all of her employees and no one to deal with them for him. She had a few that were amazing, but then there was Mr. Dunwich.....and the new witch....and only Merlin knew what the other new wizard would be like....why did they need to get new people? Or....couldn't they have gotten less annoying ones? She seriously didn't want to blow up again so she knew she needed to put in for now. Before the new additions, she had been planning to stay for most of her pregnancy.

Missy walks back to her cubicle she wasn't going to anyone about her pregnancy for now until things go by with the first 3 months she going work all throgh her pregnancy

"I think it might be best if you go as soon as possible," he nodded, jotting down notes. "The less stress and annoyances you face everyday, the better. Besides, I bet the Employment Office has a bunch of people lined up for open positions." Maybe. Hmmm...
