Callie shook her head vigourously. Parties were not her thing, she never failed to not cry. She was just an emotion bucket. "Oh...Ho... No. Alyssa, that's a lovely, and a touching idea. But I really dont do parties. Besides... I er... I'll be packing up my cottage and things, and meeting with the new buyer. I certainly wont have any time."


Excuses, excuses.

"Oh...." Alyssa was slightly disappointed that she wouldn't be allowed to throw a good-bye party for Callie, but if that's really what she wanted. "Well at least join me for lunch or dinner tonight? I could even help you pack if you want? Just something fun together before you leave?" Alyssa didn't want her to feel like she was loosing her friends because she was leaving, that was not the case in the slightest. "Just let me know what you want to do!"

Instantly, Callie felt bad. But she really didnt want a big fuss over the fact she was leaving. It was just something that would happen. Was happening. "We can go out and get a chinese takeaway tonight if you want? My cottage is right near one. Only if you're okay with that.. I do need to pack a fair bit up..." Nearly a whole year of her life in the cottage, and there was so much to pack.

"Sounds great! I can't wait! I remember when I moved into my flat in Diagon Alley, the packing was horrible, this way you won't be so lonely! Now...if you'll excuse there is is a problem in the Cafeteria that needs some attention. Callie, I'll see you after work, Olivia, I'll be back in a few minuets!" Alyssa was excited that Callie was at least going to let her have dinner with her tonight. She smiled at everyone in the room and left rather quickly to help with the problem in the Cafeteria.

Olivia stood stock still in the corner of the room as Callie told them all about her decision, and when she would be leaving.She closed her eyes slightly and sighed.Callie had been the first person at the Ministry that she could call a real friend, and now she was leaving...It choked her up somewhat to tell the truth.

She could completely understand Alyssa wanting to give her a good send off, she did too, but Olivia also knew not to force the issue.As a party was mentioned, then quickly brushed aside by Callie, Olivia looked up. "I think a takeaway is a much better idea," she smiled. "Is the invitation open to all of us....?" with a wink she looked across at her nervous friend.

Alyssa was up and ready to head where? The cafeteria? She didn't know there was an incident going on... "If you need me," she called after her, "I'll be going to Mr Lee's office!!" *sigh* She was already gone.Turning her attention back to everyone else, Olivia put her hands in her pockets and sighed. "I'm sure this wasn't the welcome you expected, Emma," she nodded to the new girl, tilting her head in sympathy. "And I'm sorry I haven't been able to explain how things work right away, but I need to speak to our Department Head right now.Perhaps Max and Callie could fill you in while I'm gone? Will you all be able to cope without me for a bit?" she chuckled, looking round at all their faces.

Heading for the door, Olivia flicked her ponytail back over her shoulder and turned the handle, pulling it open. "Won't be long..."

Callie chuckled a little bit, and then nodded. "Sure, I'll meet you outside here. If you need any help, I'll be in here probably." Where she was planning on staying for a while. Just to keep her brain in work mode, and not depression mode.

Callie looked over at Olivia and nearly burst out laughing, not in a mean way,, but at the way Olivia had been so quiet, and just then spoke. Obviously it wasn't funny. But Callie had grown to laugh at alot that happened in this office. Grown to laugh at alot that was really said around here.

"Of course it's open to all of you. The more hands the better, anyway, chinese takeaway isn't the same unless there more than two of you." And that way, it could be sort of a party, sort of a party anyway.

"Thanks again Olivia," Callie said quickly, just as Olivia went for the door. "Of course we can cope. We're Max, Callie and Emma. Totally cope-worthy."

Emma watched her department head leave the room
"Thanks, and its alright" She called after her, smiling, before turning towards the rest
"Ummm...I dont really know what to say" She said looking round

Max was staring at his feet, listened to the entire conversation going on around him. As usual taking in almost nothing of it. "I'm sorry to hear that your leaving. And so soon. What kind of job offer did you get?" He asked, being a bit nosey.

Max watched Olivia leave. Would we be able to cope... what kind of question was that. Of course he could cope, he might be a bit lazy, but he can do his job...if he really wanted to.

Alyssa had returned from the Cafeteria, where the situation was resolved by the time she got there. "I guess they didn't really need my help after all....maybe it was a prank" She muttered to herself, she looked up and realized that Olivia had left the room. "So Emma....do you have any questions about the way we run things around here?" Alyssa was trying to make her feel comfortable, but even Alyssa didn't know everything. She always had a habit of running around like a chicken with her head cut off.

Callie took a seat, crossing her legs over as she did so. And then smiled at Max. "division head of the australian education transmissions" she bit at her lip, nit wanting to sound at all boastful. "just a notch up from my last job." she added quickly. "you can join us tonight if you want max.. There'll be room"

Emma thought for a moment, "I dont think so, no" She said looking around the room at the other people, before adding "But if i do, i'll be sure to ask. Thank you" She smiled at the women

He was in his first destination. Maintenance Office.

He just entered into the office after opened the door silently and looked around with a satisfied smile. The office seems full, creating positive vibes.

"Hello, Everyone!!" Brian addressed his employees as his ocean blue eyes radiating curiosity.

Alyssa heard a voice that she regonized, but she hadn't seen in him the office in a while. "Well...Hello Brain, what can we do for you?" Alyssa was finally able to relaxed around her one boss Olivia, but around Brain still made her a little nervous. Alyssa tripped over her own feet on her way to shake his hand and nearly fell on her face she saved herself by catching the desk. "Oh boy....I'm clumsy!"

Emma almost laughed when one of the women ran forward and nearly fell over her onw feet. But she stopped when she suddenly thought she didnt want to hurt anyone's feelings.
"Hello" She said quitely, smiling at the man who had came in

Callie looked up from her seat and over to the door. Brian. Had Olivia caught him? Or was Callie going to have to tell him herself? She gave him a little smile, and a flick of her hand-wave. "This is Emma, Mr Lee, our newest recruit."

Attention off herself thank-you wvery much.

He saw her somewhere. Yes he did. But..

He squeezed his brain to re-collect his memories to get a clue of where he had seen this bit sugared-up-hyped-lady, who was almost running towards him and offering help enthusiastically before got herself in trouble of tripping. Very close. "Awe...Relax!" he smiled at her warmly, before taking a glance at Emma, a new recruitement who didnt yet meet her Department Head Officially.

"Oh..I hope you like the department, Ms. Emma.." he spoke up to Emma and turning his gaze to Callie now. He had not seen her since her last assignment of visiting level 9. "So how is things going on, Callie? Where's your Division head by the way?" he asked as moving towards the center of the room, to get a good glimpse of the room.

OK, so he wasn't in his office, and he wasn't in the cafeteria either.Olivia was getting out of breath wandering the halls looking for her boss.Surely he couldn't be that hard to find? Maybe I'll catch him later, she mused, making her way back to her own office.

Upon opening the door, however, she was dumbstruck. "Mr Lee? How....when...I...never passed you on the way to your office, how did you spring up here so quickly?" She was so stunned that she let the door go and it hit the wall behind. "I have some news for you," she said, glancing over towards Callie, "but I'll wait until you finish what you came for." Grinning, Olivia made her way over to her desk and plopped herself down in her seat.She really needed to get in shape if she was going to be chasing people around the levels...

"Oh yes!" She nodded, looking between Emma, Brian and Callie. "Emma, this is Mr Brian Lee, he is our Department Head, and my immediate boss.Mr Lee...Emma." Oh intoductions.She loved them.

Emma smiled as the man spoke to her, and watched her division head walk back in. When Olivia introduced her to the man, Mr Lee did she say? "Hello Me Lee, Im Emma Daniels, nice to meet you" She walked forward smiling and extending her arm for him to shake.

Oh. "There you're!" Brian stepped backward at Olivia's attentive entry with a bang on the wall. "Mmm..may be apparate?!" he joked, grinning at one of his active and talented division heads. "REally? My things can wait for sometime. You just go on.." he encouraged her as leaning back his hands on the near by empty desk.

Stretching out his hand to shake Emma's, Brian looked at her, "Did you afraid to meet your dept head in his office Ms. Emma?" he was causual, in really a good mood.

Emma let her hand fall, after he had shaken it. She smiled. "Im not afraid" she said. Emma turned and took a seat again, looking at everyone in the room in turn.

Alyssa had made a fool of herself....goodness she had a knack for doing that. "Well, is there anything that needs to be done..Olivia, Mr. Lee?" Alyssa was anxious to leave the room to regroup and make the blush in her cheeks to go away. Alyssa turned toward's Max looking for a reasuring smile, he could probally make her laugh about almost falling flat on her face, after all...that's how Max and Alyssa first met.

Callie nodded once at Mr Lee. "Things have been going well, great infact. I'm sure what Olivia wants to talk to you about is... erm.. more interesting.. important. Something like that." She bumbled over her words, and looked down at her feet in the end.

So much for being a trusted employee, she couldnt even tell him that she was leaving.

Max watched Mr.Lee enter the room, but didn't say anything he was still half asleep. This was definatly going to be a very long day. Max nodded to Brian as he greeted the room.

Max looked around right in time to see Alyssa trip. Max had to try so hard not to laugh...cause that would be just plain rude. He started thinking about things he hated. Like Work and not being able to sleep... and not being able to sleep during work. Oh man was he tired, but this made him frown so he stopped. Max winked at Alyssa as she sat back down, remembering that, that was what he did when he first met her.

Max watched Olivia enter again. He wondered whether or not Mr. Lee already knew. But it was obvious from Callie's comment that she had not, and this was the last thing she wanted to do.

Isabella entered the Magical Maintenance office, looking as if she threw up only a few minutes ago. She was very pale and her hands were shaking.
"Hello," she greeted everybody in the room in a small voice. "Sorry I didn't come so long, I was so ill.." she said and shuddered, and sat on one of the armchairs. Isabella was sure she felt good enough to work. Or at least, she wanted to believe in it. After all, if she won't work she won't have enough money to pay for her apartment, and she'll never ever ask her parents for help. They'lll just laugh at her and try to convince her to marry some rich and pureblood wizard.
She took a deep breath, and tried to smile to everyone.

"Isabella, it's good to see you! You must have been really sick! We haven't seen you in ages! As you can see we have a new person amongst our ranks, this is Emma!" Alyssa said pointed to Emma. "Emma" Ayssa said "This is Isabella, she is a potion genius! I'm rather jealous of her." she laughed at how much she really wished that she could make potions.
