"Did you hear about the Werewolf in the school?" J.J. Starr asked Warrick. " I think the headmaster of Durmstrang planted a werewolf student in the school as a transfer student because he is jealous of Hogwarts" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told him.

"Really? Well, I wouldn't put it past that guy!" Warrick joked.

Madeline walked into the office, feelling overwhelmed. She wondered why she had gotten the job. She reminded herself she could do this, and turned to a joking worker. Could you please tell me where I could start?

After following instructions from a kind young witch on how to reach the department of magical education, Ava had finally arrived. She'd had a sleepless night before in anticipation of starting in her new role and hoped this didn't show. She walked into the the office after a young girl who had just asked two other employees where she should begin. "Good question" smiled Ava as glided over to group. "I'm Ava Rosier" she said, introducing herself and holding out a hand to the one she presumed, who knew what to do

"Hi Ava! Madeline Sterling. Are you new here too?You look almost as lost as she had just been."She took the girl's hand and grinned broadly, grateful that she had settled in nicely.

J. J. Starr overheard heard the new employees. " Hi, I am Joe Jon Montcenaggio but all my friends call me J.J. Starr" he told the ladies. " We get our orders from Jake Rider, the department head" J.J. Starr said to them. " For now, just get used to yoru new surroundings" he told the ladies.

"Thank you."Madeline hurried to her office and arranged her things in the empty room. Just like home. She peered through the door. At least I'm not the only new employee today.

" I bet you will be a very good employee miss- I do not know your name" J.J. Stasrr told Madeline. " I can not work to work with an enthusiastic employee" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told her. " Have you met Jake at all?" he asked her.

"Jake?"She recalled that he was the boss. "Oh!No, I have not met him. And my name is Sterling. Madeline Sterling."He seemed like a person that would be nice if she had any questions.

"Well, glad to meet you Madeline" J.J. Starr told her. "Well, if you want, I can go iwth you to see Jake" Joe Jon Montcenaggio said to Madeline. " You are very nice" he told her.

"Like wise. And I'd really like to meet Jake!" I feel so clueless! Lucky J.J's a good friend, or I'd totaly get fired!

"Well, how about we meet Jake after you get settled in your cubicle" J.J. Starr told Madeline. " Jake is cool, he just got promoted from divison head to department head" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told Madeline. " You would have loved Samantha, but she has been promoted from department head to undersecretary of Reagan Taylor" Joe Jon Montcenaggio explained to Madeline. " I am glad I met a friend like you" he told her.

"I am new, pretty obvious huh?" Ava smiled. "and its lovely to meet you Madeline" she addeda, shaking the girls hand. She turned to the person who introduced himself as Joe Jon Montcenaggio. JJ Starr, she registered, not sure she'd manage to get his whole name out without making a mistake.

"Oh yes, Mr Rider" she said, recalling seeing his name on her job offer. She had never been good with remebering names but this was three in one day, she was on a roll. She walked over to her cubile which was situated next to Madeline. She took in a deep breath before exploring her new working space

Warrick held out a hand to the new employes. "Hi. I'm Warrick Dumbledore-Tennant."

" You are new, really?" J.J. Starr laughed talking Ava making her feel at ease. " Do you want to meet Mr. Rider, too?" Joe Jon Montcenaggio asked Ava. " Warrick and I were getting bored in here being the only two employees" J.J. Starr told Madeline and Ava. " Nice to have pretty faces in here, right Warrrick? he asked him.

Ava abandoned investigating the contents of her draw and loooked up at the new face. "Its lovely to meet you Mr Dumbledore-Tennant, my name's Ava Rosier" she said cordially, shaking the mans hand. She laughed with JJ Starr, any fears of unwelcoming co-workers she may have had were alliviated by now. "I would love to meet Mr Rider" she confirmed with a smile.

"oh bless" laughed Ava. "How long has it been just the two of you?" she asked. Before arriving at the department, she had imagined a small office filled with people. The opposite was certainly true. "I'd imagined there would have been more than four of us" she added curiously.

" There has been two of us since last term of Hogwarts" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told Ava. "Well both Warrick and I will escort you to Mr. Riders office" J.J. Starr said to Ava and Madeline. "WEll, this will be a busy office for sure during the schoolterm" J.J. told the ladies.

Maddie laughed. " Well, I'm going to enjoy the space while there's only a few of us. I can't imagine having to work in crowded quarters. Speaking of work, what exactly does this Commitee do?" She asked the workers.

"oh i see" replied Ava. She liked this small environment better. It would be far easier to work this way. "and thankyou" she added in regards to JJ Starr's offer to escort them to meet the head of department. She turned her eyes to the floor bit her lip nervously, she hadn't expected to meet him so soon. This all felt some what like school again.

Ava looked up as Maddie spoke. "Yes, i've been wondering the same thing" she said laughing. She did feel a bit ridiculous not having any real idea of her job description. Some employee she was.

" You will do just fine" J.J. Starr told Ava. " You will love it here" Joe Jon Montcenaggio said to Ava.

" We worked last year on the O.W.L.S. and N. E. W.T.S." J.J. Starr told Maddie. "We will have to work on anything else the education department asks us about here" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told her.

"Oh! That's not nearly as complicated as it sounds, is it?" Maddie was hoping it would be a bit more, well- simple.

" Well, I hear that a werewolf bit the headmaster and he turned into a werewolf of course" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told Maddie. "We will be heavily involved in finding out all the details of this horrific situation" J.J. Starr said to Maddie. "We will have to work close with the ministry officials and school officials" J.J. explained to her.

"That seems easy enough. So, you said this place would be crowded when the schoolterm starts. When is that?" Maddie wanted to know how much time there was left.

"Actually, I meant we will busy when the schoolterm starts" J.J. told Maddie. "Schoolterm starts in three weeks if I am correct" Joe Jon Montcenaggio said to Maddie. " Jake really knows when the schoolterm starts, I just do the work" J.J. laughed.

"A werewolf bit the headmaster?" asked Ava incredulously. She looked around at the others who didn't seem the least bit shocked at this news. Was she the only one who didn't know? "When exactly did this happen?" she asked, trying to appear equitable and nonchalant
