*After completing her application, Athella exited the Employment Office and smiled.* "At last, I've manage to find time to visit here. All I have to do is wait for the result."

*While on her way to the lifts, she asked herself why she had to abandon being a witch to stay with her Muggle friends and seek employment outside the Ministry. Only to find out all she ever wanted was to belong where her mom and dad had been.*

Theo just handed in his application form and is trying to distract himself while waiting for results so decides to strike up a conversation with other people who are new to the Ministry.

Jack just handed in is application form and he tried to distract himself from thinking about it while waiting so he took out his magazine called Snitch and started reading

Lily was so anxious about her job application that she started chewing her nails again..."oh my bad habbit is back again..." she slumped against the wall and tried not to think too much about her employment status. It had always been a dream of hers to work in the Ministyr of Magic, just like her dad, and be the Department Head of the Magical Law Enforcement. But those were just childish dreams. This was the moment she had been waiting for all her life. It was now or never. She finished her application, passed it in, and went go sit on a bench and wait.

Melony sat looking around at all the other employment hopefuls. She really needed a job....... she hoped that the situation would be alleviated today.

EllisMae was new here,she started too worry, questions were popping into her head. 'what if ive filled my job application in wrong', 'what if i dont get the job' 'what if this,'what is that'. This was a job she has always wanted. She built up her confidence too earn this job. She leaned against the wall, looking at everyone walking past. Nobody seemed to notice her.It was like she was invisible.'Hmm maybe i wont fit in here' her eyes began too fill up with tears. She couldnt think positive nomore. Maybe this weren't the place for her.

Mirae walked in, and looked around for friendly faces. She smiled, although she was nervous, and sat down, clinging onto her application. Hopefully she though I'll find my place here.

Jonathan was a little nervous. He'd wanted a job at the Ministry for forever. He didn't even know what he wanted to do. Just... work at the ministry. He took a seat on a bench and relaxed. He'd just dropped his application off, and he needed a moment to just... breathe.

Edi ran his fingers thorough his brown hair as he sat on a bench in the corridor outside the Employment Office. Being a fresh Graduate from Hogwarts, Edi was quite nervous & was breathing deeply to calm down. As he was free spirit, his passion was to open a nice restaurant but due to his current financial crisis, there was no choice but employment..

Tapping his left foot nervously, Edi waited for the results. There wasn't a specific position in his head but as long as it pays well, he was all up for it! Edi checked his watch impatiently...he had been sitting there for almost an hour now. He stretched his legs & glanced around in search of some pretty ladies for a little chit-chat & probably flirting..

Katalin put in her application form, she had always wanted to work in the magical creatures. She walked down the corridor and waited for a reply back.

Pandora twisted a lock of raven hair around her finger, almost without realising what she was doing. At 27, she felt positively ancient next to all the young applicants. She was confident about her abilities and her knowleadge base but applying for your first job 10 years after leaving Hogwarts was not ideal. She looked up at the approaching stranger, smiled nevously and went back to twisting her hair.

Rachel was sitting on the bench outside the Employment Room. She had always wanted to work in the Magical Games and Sports. She was extremely nervous, and watching the other people made her even more nervous. She had just submitted her application and was waiting for the result. She badly wanted to get the job of her choice, but in the present situation, any job would do. She wanted to work in the ministry and so did the others in the room. Even if she didn't get to work in The Magical Games and Sports, she sincerely hoped that she would get another job in the Ministry. `Good luck to everyone', she thought and waited patiently.

It had been an hour since Rachel was waiting outside the Employment Room. She was getting more and more nervous. She badly needed a job, but how long would it take? She saw Hogwarts, A History lying in the magazine rack next to the bench. She picked it up and began to read, hoping she wouldn't have to wait much longer.

Evie strided into the corridor outside the employment office. It wasn't like her to attempt to make "connections" but she was rather desperate for a job. She glanced around the corridor and noticed a young woman reading Hogwarts, A History.

She walked over to the bulletin board and pretended to read it. She wondered whether the girl would acknowledge her. She thought for a moment about striking up a conversation about Hogwarts, given the book the girl was reading, but then she decided against it. The conversation would inevitably turn towards which House the other had been in, and Evie had no wish to discuss the difficult time she had in Slytherin.

Stephan walked slowly out of the Employment offices.
"I hope i get this." He muttered.
He thought back to his first year and remembered the three Boggarts staring him in ths face, his dead mother writhing on the floor while his father slowly burned before him. His brother, Luc, had told him how to block these when he learned them in his third year. At that time Stephan was six.
"There must be a way i can help."
He glanced around and watched as witches and wizards alike passed through the employment offices.
Stephan felt his stomach grumble, and headed for the cafeteria.

Jezz stood in the corridor, terrified for the first time in her life since the day she discovered she was pregnant. Now, twelve years later, she was placing an application to work in Werewolf Support Services. She still loved him, and this proved it. But she would never admit that to the kids. She didn't say much about him, but she answered their questions when they asked.

It had been twelve years. She needed to move on, and now that the kids were on their way to Hogwarts and she was here. The Ministry was busy as ever and she was just another hopeful in the crowd. She needed a job. What else did she have?

numble sat quitely on the bench right out side the employment office he put in the application a few day before and came back to see if his name was on the piece of papper of the bulletin board and hed hope that he'd be placed in the magcial law enforcement because he'd allways wanted to be in law enfourcement so he sits a hopes and prays he gets this jobs

This was ridiculous. Even Evie had to admit. She was practically dragging Laura through the corridor. And that wasn't an easy thing to do. Apart from being several years older, Laura was also much taller and heavier. Evie couldn't remember when her best friend had gained so much height. Just a bit further, she thought. But that was ridiculous as well. It wasn't her who needed the encouragement; it was Laura.

"Come on, you big baby," she said.

Laura really thought Evie was being overly dramatic, but then again she'd have no room to talk in that category. Sure, she wanted this job, but that didn't mean she wanted to be here in the Ministry applying for it. If that made any sense at all...

"Really, Evie, you can let go of me now," Laura said.

"And you promise not to run away?" Evie asked.

"Promise," Laura said. And she heaved a sigh of relief when the grip on her wrist was released. She looked around in the corridor. Maybe she would strike up a conversation to get her mind off of the matters at hand for a while.

Rosalie was feeling extremely wrong-footed since she entered the ministry a few hours earlier.Now emerging from the Employment Office after filling the application form, she was feeling a mounting tension within her . She assumed that it might take some time for them to list out the job postings.Thinking about that,she slowly settled on a bench just outside the office next to a young man who seemed to be immersed in his own thoughts.

She decided not to disturb the man and slowly opened her clutch and took out Transfiguration Today and began to read it trying to block her negative thoughts from overwhelming her.But after a few minutes she found out that she can't concentrate properly and with a sigh closed the book and replaced it in the bag.She couldn't think of anything else to do and so she started watching the people who seemed just as anxious as her moving across the corridor.


Immediately when she just glanced at the notice board she saw her name Rosalie hale Cullen .Department of mysteries.She got up quickly and proceeded to the lifts to report for her job .

Selene strolled confidently down the corridor, ready to hand in her application. At least, that was how she appeared. It was her goal to make it seem as though she already knew that she was guaranteed a job, like filing an application was just a formality.

Even if her application was denied, she planned to walk out of the Ministry as though she had gotten a job. After all, no one here knew her name; how would they be able to pick out her name from all of the others on the notice board?

She would not show weakness in front of strangers, lest they take her for a shrinking violet, as her diminutive height might suggest. No, confidence was key.

With that, she took a seat in one of the chairs, as though it were her throne, and waited for the results of her application to be announced.

Not that much later, she saw her name appear on the notice board. She had been accepted into the Department of Mysteries, the very Department she had been hoping for, and was assigned to work in the Time Room.

Smirking to herself, she rose from her seat. She had gotten the job! Instead of dancing around in a unusually hyper display of joy and victory, she merely glided out of the corridor the same way she had entered.

His father had departed back to work and that left Claudian in the corridor waiting as patiently as he could besides his anticipation. He let his mouth fill with air and released it slowly in one careful breath. Of course, if he got the position that would mean he'd have to leave The Firecrab. It was an ambitious move full of risk; applying for the Ministry was. Quite possibly the most ambitious and risky thing Claudian had ever done.

Ever.

He stood there, leaning heavily upon the notice board and waited, looking down at his black dragon hide shoes, even though the current trend had called for Muggle designers.

Claudian inhaled and took another look at the notice board. There in a dark, dark ink was his name written in the official Ministry script. He'd been placed in the Minister's Office. He tried to repress a smile which hid in a kiss in the corner of his mouth in a triumphant fashion just waiting to mock Ovid & Calliope should they protest the new administration. Hahahahahaa! In your face, mum 'n dad! He knew there was a reason he'd voted for Taylor.

Those thoughts in his head, he re-pocketed his wand carefully and made his way to the lifts to report for his first day on. It's 'bout t'be a beautiful day!

Silas sat on the bench outside, nervous. He wasn't sure why he'd come to the Ministry to apply for a position... he wasn't even sure he liked the Ministry. But he liked to learn more about how things worked, and it seemed the next logical step was to see how the governing of his world operated... from the inside.

Will turned the corner and walked into the corridor, full with Ministry employees and, obviously, others who wanted to get a job here as well. Just like him. There was always something a bit unnerving about applying for a new job. Sure he had done it before; he was 24 after all, but still.

The application in Will's hand rustled as he paced through the corridor. He smiled and waved politely to all who looked his way as he passed by them. His fresh robes were very office appropriate and he had filled out his application nice and neatly. Will stood for a moment to check over the paper. Nothing seemed out of place. Good. Now, all that was left to do was submit it. He wandered through the corridor, eyes peeled for a place to drop off his application.

Silas looked up and smiled at the man as he walked past. "Pretty sure you drop it off over there," he said, gesturing vaguely. "Good luck."

With that, Silas decided he needed to take a walk, stretch his legs, forget about the application for a bit. He stood, lanky and thin, and adjusted the purple sweater he wore under his cloak. He wore a mix of muggle and magic clothing, that day. Until recently, he'd worked in a muggle job, rather successfully once he figured how to sneak the magic, and most of his wardrobe consisted of their clothing. I'll have to get proper robes again if I get this job, he thought. Turning, he walked along the corridor and headed toward the Ministry gift shop.

The employment office opened and a woman of not more than 20 walked out. She bore an expression as bright as her purple hair and the eccentric robes she wore. Nina had a tendency of showing just how much of an energetic person she was through that which she wore. To top it all off there was a small owl perched on her shoulder, constantly twittering.

Yes Enna, the people in the Employment Department are indeed very nice. I do hope that whatever Department I get chosen for has people as nice as these.

Nina walked towards a bench and sat down, whilst apparently speaking to her owl. Many people stared at her with an expression of fright or disgust as they passed, yet she just kept on smiling. Her motto had always been to take life as it comes and to always be positive no matter what happens. The woman now looked round at the rest of the people in the corridor and smiled once more.

Hello, what are you applying for? she said, speaking to no one specific.
