Not wanting to keep the little guy (or girl) frozen for too long, Davina hurried over to it and picked it up cuddling it close to her almost like a baby. It had to be as comfortable as possible, all creatures were to be respected.

In the same moment she had bent down to get the niffler she also picked up her necklace and slipped it back around her neck.
"Don't worry, I'll unfreeze you in a little bit and release you some place safe," she said softly to the animal, not really expecting him to understand.

"O.k I got it." She said to her boss and fellow employee.

She looked up from the animal when she was joined by another employee.

"Yep and we got one. They're not really harmful but I suppose it's annoying to lose jewelry." she said to the new comer while poking the niffler's little tummy.

Having made her way back to the east field, and their tent, Olivia started packing some things away.She couldn't believe that the whole thing was over so fast, and after all the planning they had done.Sighing to herself, she stuffed the remaining rubbish bags and cloths into the bag she had brought them in, all the while keeping an eye out for her workers.She didn't want to leave before them...not that she could, being boss she had to disassemble the tent.

Before heading back to the tent, Max took out his wand and tapped the rubbish bag. As it dissappeared, he exited the Stadium,and he made his way towards the Maintenance Tent. His arms still sore from the first faulty bag.

Reaching their area, he saw that Olivia was already there packing up the tent. "Well, that was a rather quick game." He said. "Exciting though...Not that we got to see much." He added. taking a peice of gum out of his pocket, and started chewing...Habits don't seem to be broken easily. Even something as silly as chewing gum...since he was like 8.

If he was unfrozen, he would have wiggled and played with her finger as she poked him. But...he wasn't. So..boo.

Awww, the itty bitty niffler was so cutee! Chad watched with interested eyes at the frozen black ball in Davina's arms. But...wait, they couldn't release him! "He...has been stealing stuff, yes? Well, we need to get it back. We will not be able to find these items...without the niffler's help."

Davina looked at her boss. Well the man was right. If she released him they wouldn't be able to get the stolen items back.

"You're right, lets just lift the jinx and we'll see how much help he'll be to us." she replied.

Still holding him gently, yet firmly, Davina tapped him with her wand and muttered the counter jinx.
"There, back to normal," she said smiling at the creature and once again poking his cute little stomach.
"WE need to get that stuff back."

Having gathered all the spare stuff from their stay, Olivia was busy dropping it into her bag when she heard a voice.Turning on her heels, she smiled at the sight of Max, nodding also at his comments. "Yes it was, shame we have to go really, I quite liked the atmosphere," she sighed, holding up a bottle of cleaning potion to the light to check how much was left, before placing it carefully in the bag.

Her eyes flickered over to Max as he put chewing gum in his mouth, she grinned as she zipped up her bag and moved it to the floor.Leaning herself against the table, Olivia folded her arms and blew some hair out of her face. "So how did you get on with those other rubbish bags I gave you?" she asked, curiously. "They work ok?"

He was freeeeeee! Ish.

With a playful mew, he wiggled in her arms again as she poked his tummy. People were so much fun!

Davina looked down at the niffler in her arms unsure of what her boss wanted her to do. She wasn't sure how they would go about getting the stuff the niffler took back and she wasn't sure how he would help them. She wasn't a meow-mouth or whatever they called niffler language.

She looked around the camp site hoping to spot a niffler burrow or something..anything so she wouldn't have to ask her boss what to do. She didn't want to be a reactive employee but rather a proactive one. At the moment her options were looking pretty slim.

She scratched the animal under his little chin.

Chad smiled as he watched the little niffler wiggle. "Alright, so...we have to give him something to take to...where ever he is hiding the stuff. First, we need to be able to track him...in case we lose him." Chad pulled his wand out his holster. "Here...hold him out for a second?"

Rhea looked from her boss to the niffler. Tracking a niffler wouldn't be easy. It wasn't as if they had one of those nifty muggle devices that they attract to their animals in order to track them down. What was Mr.Stryker going to do. Trusting her boss, she held the niffler out a bit.
"We can use my necklace, no problem."

Pandora saw a small knot of her collegues and rushed over to them. "Oh, you've caught one, good. I've following the trail of devestation from the North field. Are we sure that there's only one?" She addressed the ast question towards Chad, since he was the one most likely know know, as everyone should have been reporting to him. She saw Silas and gave him a look that clearly said 'I told you so.'

Once Davina had the niffler held out, Chad approached and stroked the niffler's little head and then his tummy so that he wouldn't be afraid. Then, he lifted his wand and tapped the ball of black gently, mumbling a French tracking spell. The niffler glowed for a couple seconds and then stopped.

"I put a tracking spell on him...the wand will act like a compass," he answered, holding his wand gently while he started to fumble with something under his shirt, around the neck. "Oh, there will be no need, Mademoiselle. You have already sacrificed your valuables once," he smiled, undoing, and pulling out a long silver chain.

"I think he is," he answered, turning a little to adress Pandora. "He is the only one we seem to have noticed. He may be small...but they do what they do best well," he chuckled. He then held out his chain for the niffler to take.

Once Mr.Stryker had performed the tracking spell on the Niffler Rhea released her firm hold on him. He was now free to do as he pleased. She looked from the little creature to her boss' chain, waiting for the Niffler to nick the chain and set off.

Pandora watched Chad interact with the niffler, he was quite charming with the thing really. She wasn't sure that petting a wild niffler was the best course of action, but it was still good to see that Chad had the ability to try and be charming towards creatures at least.

"Well," She replied when Chad answered her question, "he's certainly effectual."

She watched as Chad tempted the creature and the girl set him free, her own wand at the ready and her ring in her pocket. There was no way she was going to lose that to a niffler.

Silas had not missed the look that Pandora shot his way. He merely shrugged at her and kept his attention on the niffler. The sooner they found the beast's stash and got things returned, the sooner he could get back to Dora and they could be on their way.

"So... we just.. follow it?"

Pandora was irritated when Silas shrugged at her. First he made out that she was imagining things and then he couldn't accept that she was right? She could not, at that moment, understand what Dora saw him him at all. And then he asked a simply idiotic question. "Yes we follow it. Unless you have a better idea to find out where it has stashed all the things it has stolen? Unless you know some hither too unknown form of human-niffler communication?" she hissed at him.

The niffler closed his eyes as he got another tummy rub, but then opened them when he felt a tap. Before he could inspect what had poked him, he was put back on the ground...and there was something shinyyy!

Quickly, the little niffler nicked the long silver chain, and started to pounce away to back to his hiding place.

Davina looked at her boss and the others and started walking in the direction that the niffler went in. She knew she would lose him soon but didn't much feel like standing there will those two were going at each other.

Davina had one run in with that woman already and she didn't fancy having another one with her.
She sighed while walking away. She would miss the little critter once they were done with him...unless of course she learned that nifty tracking spell and went back for him after....

Silas just blinked at her. What was her issue? Sure, it had been a simple question, but well, he'd wanted to make sure they didn't need to do anything else. He'd wanted to respond, but frankly, it wasn't professional nor prudent, and so he simply turned back to the niffler.

Turning away from Pandora, Silas followed behind the niffler and the other woman as they went on their way,, casting a confused look behind him and Pandora..

Pandora sent Silas another filthy look as he turned away from her. he seemed determined to make her angry. She felt highly insulted, as she'd just helped him carry his (mostly likely) pregnant fiancee from the stadium back to their tent. She would dearly have liked to have chalenged him but she watched as Davina allowed the niffler to steal Chad's chain with her anger pounding through her ears. Davina and Silas followed the niffler closely. Idiots! she thought. Sighing with exasperation, She called out "You need to stay back a little so that he doesn't see you. Otherwise he'll create a new hiding place." She looked over at Chad. "What are the signals from you tracking spell sir?" If they knew that, they would know what to look out for.

As Davina followed behind the niffler (which she could barely even locate anymore save for the little glimpse of tail here and there) she gritted her teeth. Clearly this woman thought she knew more than anyone else. She would not be rude while her boss was there or give her the satisfaction of getting into trouble with Mr. Stryker.

"I'm sure," she began through gritted teeth."That he's more preoccupied with hiding that chain than us following him. It would be best to continue in silence..if you please.." There she had kept her cool, even though it was strained.

Pandora narrowed her eyes and her grip on her wand tightened. She looked at the younger woman, her steely eyes ice cold. She kept her voice low."Actually, he'll want to protect his stash and he already knows that there are people interested in him." She watched the niffler dart away, wondering what on earth the woman was doing in the magical creatures deptartment if she knew so little about them.

Davina rolled her eyes but didn't turn to look at the woman behind her. She wouldn't even grant her that.
"I'm quite sure..Pandora," she said teeth gritted even tighter now."That we are the least of his worries. In any case Mr.Stryker has everything under control." She stopped speaking but continued walking before muttering under her breath."I just wish he had your mouth under control too."

Alright, enough was enough. This was not the time, nor the place. Stopping, Silas cast a look back at Chad, and then turned his attention to his bickering coworkers.

"Ladies," Silas said in a hushed whisper. "Clearly, you have a disagreement here, but how about we discuss it later, and instead focus on the task at hand. Silently. We'll keep our distance and we'll keep quiet." There. Both should be satisfied with that.

Not giving them time to respond, Silas turned back in the direction the niffler had gone, noting that it was practically out of sight.
