Hobbies & Interests: Writing Science Fiction and Fantasy Novels, K9 Search and Rescue work, Woodworking, Reading, Tree identification.
Favorite band/musician: Very difficult, because I have so many! First few that come to mind are that really enjoy Demon Hunter, Florence and the Machine, and He is Legend.
Favorite food: Soft Tofu Kimchi Stew, and my husband's whole smoked Turkey.
Fave non-HP movie: Princess Mononoke
Fave HP book: The Deathly Hallows, Book 7.
Fave HP movie: The Prisoner of Azkaban, Book 3
Fave character(s) and why: Harry Potter. He always connected with me from my early childhood to adult years. I could really understand and empathize with his thoughts, his reactions, and the difficulties he faced in Hogwarts each year. I respected his courage and wanted to be brave and loyal to my friends like he was.

Anything else: Its great to meet you all, I've been a Harry Potter fan since the first book came out when I was 6. The book was the first complex chapter book I read on my own as a child, and took me from a meh unskilled reader into one who voraciously read every book I could get my hands on, and inspired me from that moment on with the desire to become a writer, so that I could make beautiful worlds and stories like J.K. Rowling did. Since then, I have met many other books and found many other excellent literary mentors in the stories I read and the authors I met through their books. I am currently working on the research portion of my PhD studies and editing my first Science Fiction trilogy, the first book of which I will be submitting to publication soon.

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland - "birthplace" of Harry Potter with a lot of inspiration drawn from the city and also home to JKR!
Hobbies & Interests: Reading! I read about 2-3 books a week and usually re-read the Harry Potter series at least once a year. I'm also a huge fan of JKR's Strike private detective series (under her pen name Robert Galbraith) and anything by Anthony Horowitz. I love travelling but my favourite place to visit for a nice, peaceful break in the sun is Fethiye in Turkey.

Fave HP book: Half-Blood Prince
Fave HP movie: PS and COS were truest to the books and introduced the series that defined my childhood.
Fave character(s) and why: I have too many favourites - it changes with each book and each time I read them. I've just finished re-reading Goblet of Fire and currently Mrs Weasley is my reigning favourite - theres a moment towards the end of chapter 'Parting of the Ways' (see below) where Harry is in the hospital wing following everything that happened in the graveyard and blaming himself for Cedric's death when Mrs Weasley bends down and hugs him. Having lost my own mother at a young age it really struck a chord and unashamedly I cried my way through the paragraph, I had so much love for Mrs Weasley in that moment.

I'm fond of the Harry Potter universe since I'm 5 years old, and I am 27 now!
I love all the books so much! (it's impossible to choose a favorite).
I travel around the world and live as a "digital nomad", so I don't have a fixed location.
I create websites and android apps (I recently created a Harry Potter Trivia Quiz app with extremely difficult questions about the books.
