Chapter 26

Alicia held her palm out to block a curse while she spun round and pointed her wand at Harry.

''Ennervate!'' Harry raised his head slightly and Alicia turned back to Voldemort.

Harry blinked as a flash of purple light illuminated the area. He shook his head and watched as Alicia dodged one of Voldemort's curses.

''Alicia? What's going on?'' He was mometarily confused before what he was seeing registered. ''NO! Alicia! What are you doing?''

''What am I doing?'' She repeated as she dodged anoher curse, ''I'm fighting. What doees it look like?'' Harry tried to move away from the tree but Alicia's ropes were still in place.

''Let him join in Alicia. Hes going to die anyway'' Voldemort sneered as Alicia's disarming jinx missed ny millimetres.

''No. Harry's going to live. The others will make sure of it'' She said fiercly.

''You don't count yourself in with that?'' Voldemort said as Alicia stumbled from being hit my something.

''No. I'm not leaving my family'' She said as her head snapped up to look at him. A large gash had appeared on her left cheek.

Searching the grounds, Jamie spotted flashing lights away from the main fight. As Hermione called him, loud screams echoed towards them, causing Jamie to sprint forwards.

''ALICIA!'' He shouted as he made his way forwards. Lighting his wand, he saw Voldemort's smirk, Harry's horrified face and Alicia's pained look in her eyes.

''Jamie! She won't listen to me! I've tried to stop her!'' Harry shouted over Alicia's screams. Jamie just stared down at the girl by his feet.

Voldemort lifted his wand and Alicia fell silent, getting to her feet and sending a stunner at him, not even bothering to rest.

''Alicia NO!'' Jamie said suddenly, scaring Hermione and Ginny and making Harry jump slightly.

''I have to...'' She whispered as his arms clamped themselves round her waist and pulled her back. Ginny had severed the ropes tying Harry and he steped forwards with his wand raised.

''No you don't! Listen to me, you still have us, there's still Luna and your dad!'' He said quietly as he started to pull her away slowly, edging his way towards the school.

She shook her head and rested it against his shoulder. Then, she was yanked away from him, back towards Voldemort.

''You can't take her. When she handed herself over, I made sure she wouldn't escape'' He said as a small laugh escaped his lips when he took in Jamie's face. ''Didn't know about that part?''

''No'' He whispered as he looked at Alicia, standing behind him with her head bowed.

'I'm sorry...' Jamie blinked and turned away from her. 'Jamie?'

'Why? Why do it Ali?' When Jamie's voice said her name, Alicia's tears started falling.

'I don't know... I was trying to rescue harry, Jasper and the twins. he decided that I wasn't a good enough swap for harry but I was for my brothers. He brought them to where I was tied to a tree and killed them at my feet. He left and then returned with my parents. Jamie, he killed my mum in front of me... He actually told my dad that he was going to kill him as well' Jamiw saw it in his minds eye as Alicia rethought it all.

''Mr Starlight, you are free to leave. So is Miss Granger. Miss Weasley, Mr Potter and Miss Daniels are to stay here'' Voldemort annouced.

Jamie turned and pointed his wand at Voldemort. ''I'm sorry...'' He said as he switched his wand to Alicia at the last moment. The stunner hit her and Hemione caugt her before she collapsed into the snow.

''NO! You broke the connecion!'' Voldemort spat, all politeness gone.

''That was the point...'' And Jamie started where Alicia left off. ''Get her out!'' He yelled to Hermione as he ducked a killing curse.

Hermione and Ginny dragged Alicia hrough the snow, towards the school while Harry and Jamie stayed and fought.

Yeah...its a church thing...one day we decided saying gosh was too strange, so we decided to say oh my golly...the abbreviation is OMGLY. Great, no? :)

Anyways...Loved the posttt!!! I like how voldie was being all polite and calling them miss and mr, and then he was just like NO YOU IDIOT to jamie...it made me laugh. PAMS!!

No... I like it! I like the abbreviation as well... In that post, I used my head of year for inspiration. He was being all polite to me saying Miss and stuff... Then he said 'No you idiot Abi!' Blah blah blah... I thought it sounded like something Voldie would say...

I'm writing the next chapter to The beginning and the end right now but I'll post on this story as soon as I can...

Chapter 27

''What the- ?'' Fred said as Hermione and Ginny dragged an unconscious Alicia into the classroom they were waiting in.

''What happened?'' Naomi said as she stared at the girl in front of her.

''She was fighting with You- Know- Who. When we came over, he was using the Cruciatus curse on her but after he lifted t, she stood up and carried on fighting'' Ginny said as she fell into one of the chairs.

''So Voldemort done this?'' George said, causing Ginny to look up at her brother with shock plastered on her face.

Hermione didn't even noticed. She shook her head as she pulled her wand out. ''Jamie did... Ennervate'' She flicked her wand towards Alicia, whose eyes opened immediately.

''Where am I? Fred? George? Naomi? Hermione, wheres Jamie?!'' She said as she realised she was in the school.

''With Harry... They're fighting You- Know- Who -''

''NO!'' Alicia screamed and ran for the door, knocking over a chair as she went.

George launched himself at her and caught her round the waist, pinning her to the floor.

''Alicia! Jamie told us to bring you here for a reason!'' Hermione said quickly as she tried to throw George off her.

''If I don't help him, he'll die! He'll get killed trying to save me! I can't have that haning over me like Emmett or- or Rose or Ja- Jasper or Alice or- or Edward or my- my mum!'' Alicia said as she gave up trying to push the twin off and started crying. George pulled her into a hug and let her tears stain his shirt.

As Ginny went to say something, a hand rested on her shoulder. She turned to see who it was. Alicia's dad shook his head and motioned that he would speak to her. Ginny nodded and stepped back.

George turned round at the approaching footsteps. Her dad knelt down beside them as George spoke softly to Alicia. ''Hey, can you stop making my top soaking wet for a couple of minutes... Me and Fred have to step out and there's someone who wants to see your smile'' Her sobs faded away as she looked up at George. He nodded his head to the right and Alicia turned until her gaze fell onto her dad.

''Dad...'' She whispered as George carefully passed her over. She wrapped her arms round him and buried her head into his chest. ''Dad, I'm sorry... It's all my fault...'' She said as the sobs started up again.

''No it's not... Don't think like that baby...'' He said quietly as he rocked her slightly. Fred and eorge had stepped over to the two girls.

''Don't follow... We're gonna go help Harry and Jamie... Come on Nay...'' They said as they edged towards the door. Naomi stood and followed the two boys.

''I'll take you... I'm gonna go get Luna and bring her here'' Hermione said and she lead the way. Ginny went and sat down next to Alicia and her dad.

''But mum... Emmett... Rosalie... Jasper... The twins?'' Alicia said as she looked up at him.

''Are safe and happy now. They can't be in danger anymore. They still love you'' He said as he smiled.

''Just think, they may not be here now, but they never left you Alicia... They'll always be with you'' Ginny said as she rested a hand on her shoulder.

Alicia just nodded. Her clear eyes suddenly turned pink.

''Oh for heavens sake!'' Ginny said as she rolled her eyes. ''I swear these visions know what's going on... They're starting to annoy me now''

Alicia's dad laughed. ''I know what you mean... I put up with her knowing what she was getting for her birthday every year'' He said as Ginny laughed. ''Oh, I'm sorry... I don't think I've met you before...'' he said.

''Oh yeah... I forgot. I'm Ginny, Ron's little sister'' She said as she shook his hand. ''I'm happy to meet you... Although the time seems a little depressing'' She added on the end, causing him to laugh again.

''Yes... I've heard a lot about you Ginny... Mostly from Harry when he comes to visit... I think you would of gotten on well with Emmett'' He said and Ginny blushed.

''Defiantly Emmett... They have the same amount of patience... You know, I may not be able to see you when I'm having a vision but I can still hear'' Alicia said as Ginny poked her tongue out at her.

''I don't really care if you can hear me... I wanna know know what you saw though'' Ginny said as Alicia pulled a face at her.

''Nothing bad... I think you're right about these visions... They either have nothing to do with whats going on OR they ome at the worst time...'' Alicia said and Ginny whacked her in the arm. ''OW! Alright, alright... I saw someone getting married... It wasn't me, Jamie was the best man... I'm not sure who as the picture was slightly blurred and I couldn't hear...'' She said as she narrowed her eyes at her dad and Ginny.

''Don't blame us! It's not our fault we get bored when you space out!'' Ginny said and Alicia's dad laughed again.

''FRED! GEORGE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?'' Ron shouted as he dodged a curse.

''Getting you! Come on... Naomi will take over... As long as she's careful!'' Fred said as he pulled Ron away.

''Always am!'' She answered as she ran forwards and disappeared into the falling snow. George pulled Ron round as he stopped and pointed towards the forest.

''That over there is Jamie, Harry and Voldemort...'' He said, ignoring it when his younger brother flinched. ''That is where we're going...''

Ron nodded and noticed a figure ahead of them. ''Who's that?'' He said as he pointed the shape out.

''Hermione... She's getting Luna so they can fight... Alicia's with her dad and Ginny inside''

Ron nodded again and followed the twins as they ran forwards.

Jamie knew that it was nearly over. Voldemort was obviously winning. His thoughts drifted to Alicia as he dodged curses instead of firing them. He hoped that she would be okay. Then, Harry's shout broke his train of thought.

As Harry had ducked under a purple beam, a loud pop had echoed round them. Looking back, Voldemort had disappeared. He swore loudly as three figures appeared out of the darkness.

''It totally wasn't us!'' Fred said quickly as he raised his hands.

''What's the matter Harry?'' Ron said as Harry turned to face them and Jamie walked over.

''Where's Voldemort? Hermione and Ginny said that you were dueling with him...'' George said as he looked around.

''Disapparated 'bout 5 seconds ago'' Harry said as he shoved his wand into his pocket. ''Where's Gin?'' He said as he looked at George.

''Transfiguration Classroom'' He said simply and Harry ran off. ''Alicia's there too'' He added as Jamie went to say something.

''Cheers... You coming?'' He said as he went to follow Harry.

''I think that the Deatheaters need to keep on ther toes if we're around...'' Fred said as George smirked and headed towards the battle.

''See you later then...'' Jamie said and he headed towards the school.

Okay... The next post is skipping right to the end of the battle... With the last death... Then maybe I should write something happy for once XD

Chapter 28

As Alicia stood up, a loud pop echoed round the room and an arm wrapped round her neck. Ginny's face paled and her dad froze.

''Hello Daniels'' Voldemort said as Alicia raised her hands to her neck. He was strangling her.

''Let her go...'' Ginny shouted and Voldemort laughed. He flicked his wand towards her and she collapsed screaming.

''N- No... W- What do y- you w- want?'' Alicia managed as Ginny's screams died away. Alicia's dad pulled her into a corner, away from the two in the center of the room.

''You dead... But first, Miss Weasley'' Ginny looked up at the red eyes looking down at her. Her own brown eyes flicked down and looked at Alicia. Her face was turning blue and her eyes were a dull green.

''What do you want with Ginny?'' Alicia's dad said as he stepped forwards. Ginny peered round him with wide eyes.

''Two things. Potter and her services''

''I'd rather die than join you! Get that through your thick head!'' Ginny shouted. Alicia raised a hand and Voldemort was thrown off her.

She collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily as Voldemort hit the far wall with a crash. Ginny scrambled to her feet and ran towards her.

''Come on... We've got to get out of here'' She said quickly, grabbing her arm and pulling her to her feet.

Voldemort was up and standing in front of them in a blink of an eye. He shot Ginny with another Cruicatus curse while he watched Alicia return to her natural colour. he lifted the curse and pointed the wand towards her.

Alicia's dad moved faster than Alicia. He stepped in front of his daughter as the jet of green light was emmited out of Voldemort's wand. It hit him in the chest. Alicia screamed as her dad fell at her feet.

Jamie stepped off the stairs and heard the screams. He past Harry and Ron, pulling his wand out as he did. He blew the door off it's hinges and stopped dead.

Voldemort laughed quietly and vanished with another loud pop. Ginny had crawled to the wall and Harry hurried to her.

''What happened?'' He said as Ginny hugged him tightly.

''Vol- Voldemort apparated into the room and strangled Alicia... He used the Cruciatus curse on me when I told him to let her go... He still wants me to join him... And then Alicia threw him backwards but he moved fast and used it on me again because I told him I would rather die than join him... He tried to kill Alicia but her dad jumped in front of her...'' She said into his chest.

Harry wrapped an arm round her and looked towards Jamie. He had moved from the doorway. Sitting on the floor with his back up against the wall, he put his head in his hands.

''Come on... We've gotta leave this room...'' Ron said as he stepped towards Alicia. She shook her head, tears splattered the floor, and looked round to Jamie.

'It's all my fault...'

''No it's not'' She said as she watched him.

'It is... My fault... Could of stopped it...'

''SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP OKAY?'' She shouted at him before running out the room.

Ginny looked up at Harry before following after her. ''ALICIA WAIT!''

Jamie had raised his head and watched her leave, his own tears silent as they fell.

Harry and Ron grabbed him and pulled him from the room.

Fred and George were back to back in a small group of students. There were only four others with them. A tall blonde girl named Angie and her twin Amelia, a red head named Emily and a small girl with black hair called Maria.

Angie and Amelia were fighting against Yaxley and Rookwood, dodging their curses and trying to stun them.

Emily was sending stunner after stunner at Dolohov who was laughing at her. Maria shot one at his back and he fell.

''Ang! Left!'' Fred shouted as a Deateater tried to grab her.

She jumped aside and crashed into Fred. ''Fred! I'm so sorry!'' She said quickly as she helped him up.

''I'm fine! Just be careful!'' He said a loud popping noise echoed round their group.

At first, they thought it was more Deatheaters arriving bu then they were alone.

''They've left?'' Amelia said as she looked round herself. George walked up beside her and rested a hand on her shoulder.

''Come on... Lets see if anyone knows whats happening...'' He said and the six of them headed towards the school.

Alicia ignored Ginny's shouts and continued to run. She had no idea where she was running to, but she did know that she had to get away.

''ALICIA! WILL YOU PLEASE STOP!'' Ginny shouted as she reached the bottom of the stairs. Alicia lost her concentration and her foot went through the trick step half way up the staircase.

She swore loudly and tried to pull herself out, unable to see due to tears.

''Alicia, what is wrong with you? You've never shouted like that before, especially not at Jamie...'' Ginny said as she gripped her shoulder and pulled. Instead of running off, Alicia sat two steps above where she was stopped.

''I don't know... I just lost it... He's mad at me now, isn't he?'' She said as she twisted the ring on her left hand.

''No he's not... Although I'm a bit ****** that you was ignoring me...'' She said coldly. Alicia gave her an apologetic look and she smiled. ''You had your reasons... Forgive and forget...'' She said as Alicia hugged her.

A door burst open below them and eight people ran up to them.

''Fred? George?'' Ginny said as her brothers came to stop. ''Whats up?''

''We, not including Hermione and Luna, were fighting and then they just apparated away'' George said and Hermione rolled her eyes.

''George, I've already told you! You can't apparate in Hogwarts grounds!'' She said and Alicia looked up.

''You can now... Voldemort apparated into the Transfiguration room while we were in there... He strangled me, tortured Ginny and killed m dad'' She added on the end as Fred's unspoken question floated into her head.

''Oh...'' Was all he managed to say as Alicia's clear eyes turned pink. Ginny sighed.

''I hate these things you know... You know that?'' She said as Alicia blinked, her eyes turning a pale blue.

''I know'' She said with a smile. She looked at the four girls standing behind the boys. ''So... Are you going to introduce us or do I?'' She said as she grinned at Fred.

''Oh yeah... Alicia, Ginny, Angie, Amelia, Maria, Emily...'' He said as he pointed to each girl in turn. As Angie and Amelia waved, Alicia's grin widened.

'What is with you?! About 5 minutes ago you were crying, now you're beaming!' Ginny raised an eyebrow slightly.

'Another unrelated vision... Your brothers will be getting married in the future...' Alicia's smile couldn't get any bigger. She started laughing when Ginny's jaw dropped.

'Fred and George?! Really? To who?'

'See the twins behind them?'

'Angie and Amelia?'

'Them... Fred and Angie, George and Amelia... Don't tell them though' Now Ginny was laughing with her. The four girls were sharing looks which said 'CRAZY!'. Fred and George both pulled a face.

''Okay, not fair! Let us in on the joke!'' Fred said, causing the two girls to laugh harder.

Chapter 29

Jamie sat against the wall, away from the group of people gathered in the center of the room. He kept replaying Alicia's shouts as he stared up at the enchanted ceiling where large white flakes were still floating down to them.

''Nope. Just up and gone... Like at the Burrow'' Lupin said as he shook his head. ''No- one can figure out why though...''

Harry glanced over at Jamie before turning back to the conversation. ''I think Voldemort called them back... Sort of like a time out'' He said as he ignored the shiver than ran round the group.

''You're right about that... I just saw it... It was a bit delayed but still'' Everyone turned round and watched as Alicia lead a small group into the Hall. Jamie's head snapped round to stare at her.

Ginny was walking behind Fred and George, a smile still on her face. As she saw Harry, she ran to him and gave him a hug.

''She okay now?'' He said quietly as he pulled back from her.

''Of course... A bit worried that he won't forgive her but she's cool...'' She said and the smile melted off her face as she saw Jamie. ''I'm going to guess and say that he's not?''

''Got it in one...'' Harry said, glancing at Jamie again.

Fred turned to Lupin and asked him what had happened. Lupin spoke quickly and then asked Alicia how she knew Harry was right.

She was staring at her hands, twisting her fingers together before jumping and looking at him. ''Huh? Oh, erm... I saw it... After I saw something else...'' She said and her and Ginny swapped knowing looks so no- one asked.

''What did you see?'' Lupin said, patience evident in his tone.

''I've told you, Voldemort calling a timeout for his side... Exactly what Harry said'' She said and returned to her hands. A look of concentration mixed with pleading on her face.

Harry's eyebrows furrowed slightly as he watched her. Shaking his slightly, he turned away and caught a glimpse of Jamie. He was staring at the floor, a look of sadness on his face.

Harry understood after that. They were silently comuniticating to each other. He turned away, a smile pulling at his mouth.

'Hi...' Alicia stared at her hands as Jamie looked up at her.

'Hey' She smiled briefly as he replied to her.

'I'm sorry about shouting... I didn't mean it...'

'I know... You were upset and I just made it worse...' Jamie shook his head and stared at the floor.

'No you didn't... I wasn't supposed to hear that thought... You didn't mean for me to' She thought, concentration clouding her features.

Anger clouded his. 'So you intruded?' It clouded his thoughts as well. Alicia's face turned pleading as she interlocked her fingers.

'No... I swaer I didn't pry! I just heard it! I would never...' Jamie glanced at her from the corner of his eye.

'I believe you! I believe you! I'm sorry for shouting... Sort of...'

A smile touched her lips. 'Sort of...'

'Friends again?' He asked as he stood up, getting looks from Harry and Ron.

'Friends? No' Cofusion lit up his face while a large smile appeared on hers.

'What? Why?'

'I'm not wearing this ring so we can be friends Jamie...' His confusion vanished and a smile appeared on his face as well. She looked up and watched as he let a small chuckle escape him. In one movement, she had unlinked arms with Maria, stepped round Angie and Amelia and ran at him.

He caught her and wrapped his arms round her, burying his face into her shoulder. ''Okay... We'll let that one go shall we?'' He said quietly, as her silent laughter shook her frame slightly.

''Oh no... I'm not letting you forget this! You forgot that we were getting married for goodness sake!'' She whispered back, sticking her tongue out at him as he pulled back. He returned the gesture before kissing her.

Ginny laughed and walked forwards, pulling gently on Alicia's red and blue curls as she passed. Alicia pulled away and followed her to a quiet corner.

''I'm taking a guess and saying that you're forgiven?'' She said, still laughing.

''Of course... Although he may not be'' She said, looking over and watching Harry and Jamie talk.

''What'd he say?'' Ginny said quickly, bouncing slightly on her heels.

''Nothing... He just forgot that we were getting married'' Alicia laughed at Ginny's face.

Jamie looked over as Ginny let out a loud burst of giggles. ''Great... She wasn't joking when she said she wasn't going to let it go...'' He thought outloud, shaking his head.

''Let go of what?'' Harry questioned, his curiosity getting the better of him.

''I accidently forget the wedding... And now she's not going to let it go...'' Harry rolled his eyes. The girls walked back over and Alicia took Jamie's hand. ''Heard you told Ginny then?''

She laughed but it was cut short. Her sparkling yellow eyes jumped to pink and her grip tightened round his hand. Harry's laughter stopped and Ginny clutched at his arm.

A few minutes later, her eyes went red. ''I swear, when I see him, I'll kill him!'' She shouted, causing the others to look over.

''Whats the matter Alicia?'' Emily said as she rushed over to her side. The two had become friends once Alicia had explained her gifts.

''That no good, lying, back stabbing, annoying FERRETT!'' She shouted the last word and understanding flickered in all the students eyes.

''Malfoy? What's he done?'' Ron said as he walked over, Hermione and Luna following him.

''He hasn't done ANYTHING yet! It's what he's GOING to do!'' Alicia shouted and Jamie pryed her off him. He thought that he might need that hand in the future.

''Well... What's he going to do then?'' Ron said as Moody walked over.

''He's coming back! He's coming back here, to Hogwarts!'' Alicia growled. Ginny stepped back slightly.

''That doesn't seem that bad...'' Ron's voice trailed off under the look Alicia gave him.

''He's coming back to collectme and Harry. Voldemort wants us away from the school. He can go and shoot himself in the foot if he thinks I'm going anywhere with Malfoy!'' The Weasleys and other students, including Angie and Amelia, shot confused glances at each other. Only the Muggleborns knew what she was talking about.

''There's no need to be like that Alicia!'' Maria said as she stood next to Emily. ''I'm sure we can stop Malfoy from doing his job...''

''We can... But we won't'' Alicia looked round at George who walked over. ''Say you'll go with Malfoy when you're actually here... Project yourself'' He said and delight appeared in Alicia's face.

''That's brilliant! Thanks George! Harry, I can project you as well but it will be difficult... We've only got an hour'' He nodded and they started practicing straight away.

Chapter 30

''Alright... 10 minutes... You two better get ready...'' Jamie said as Alicia vnished from in front of him.

''He's on his way now... Harry and me will be in he roo just off here... Ginny, make sure you speak for Harry, remember he's lost his voice... Ron, Look after the ohers while he's here... Jamie, no curses of punches are to be aimed at Malfoy until I say so...'' She said as she walked forwards from he corner she was standing in. As she passed Jamie, he pulled a face at her. 'I saw that as well...''

Harry laughed and opened the door to the chamber off the Hall. He ooked round and remembered the last time he was here. His name had just come out the Goblet of Fire and the others were waiting in here. He remembered where Cedric had stood when he entered the room.

''Don't think like that Harry... It's not your fault'' She said as she stepped up to him.

''Lets get this over with...'' He said and took her hand.

Jamie watched Alicia disappear into the next room before appearing next to him in another minute.

The room was silent as they waited for the visitor. Alicia loooked round andlaughed. ''You need to act like you don't know he's coming! Otherwise it gives us away!'' People were talking amongst hemselves now and hary was standing beside Ginny and Alicia, who was standing next to Jamie, talking quietly.

''Don't worry so much! It will work! As soon as he realises that we're not actually there it'll be too late... Just remember, Stun him when I nod at you'' She whispered, listening out for the large oak doors.

''I can't help it... What if something goes wrong? This is Malfoy we're talking about...'' Jamie said as he glanced towars he doors.

''Don't worry! If anything goes wrong, curse him straight away...'' She smiled as she looked up at him.

''And if he hurts you?''

''Then you can punch him, but after I do though'' She winked at him before turning and looking at Harry.

''We're up...''

Everyone tensed slightly as they heard her comment. It was only two minutes later that th doors of the great Hall crashed open and Malfoy stood in he doorway.

''Potter. Daniels, sorry, Starlight'' He sneered as he strolled into the room. ''Ready for a road trip?''

Alicia cocked an eyebrow. ''Road tri? Don't think Muggle terms are your thing Malfoy...'' Jamie laughed and Harry smiled, facial expressions being the only way he could communicate now.

''Don' try to be funny Mudblood'' Draco's smirk had disappeared from his face as he stepped towards her. Jamie stepped in front of her and glared at him.

''Say that again...'' he spat at him as Alicia stepped round him.

''Let it drop Jamie... We can't be rude to our visitor...'' he said quickly, shooting him a warning look before glaring at malfoy, who had started laughing.

''My God! You actually let her boss you around like that? Are you he one wearing the white dress?'' Jamie was acually shaking with anger and Ron put a hand on his shoulder to keep him there.

''What do you want Draco?'' Mafoy stopped laughing at looked at he girl who stepped forwards.

''It's got nothing to do with you Maria... Go back to your friends'' He said as he nodded towards Amelia and George who stood close by. George's hand curled into a fist and Ameia elbowed him.

''What do you want?'' Maria repeated and Maloy winked at her.

''Well... Starlight- to- be and Potter was what I was told to collect at first but then my orders changed...'' Alicia and Harry swapped startled looks.

''Changed? Changed how?'' Ginny said as Harry glanced at her. Mafoy turned to look at her and smiled.

''I've come to talk... Nothing more'' He said and Maria laughed.

''Ha! Yeah, right... And my names Matthew... Seriously, what do you want?''

''A couple of things really... Potter and the Mudblood to actually be in the room would be one of them...'' He said nodding towards the door behind him. Alicia looked at Jamie, who nodded, before grabbing Harry's hand and disappearing.

''Happy now?'' Alicia said coldly as she walked out with Hary following her.

''Very... Now, As I said earlier... You're to come with me'' He said, a smile hinting at his mouth. He lied and thy believed him.

''No. I'll think I'll pass thanks... Tell your master hat I said I would rather shoot myself than see him again... Shooting myself would be something Muggles do'' Alicia added on the end, her tone changing. It sounded like she was talking to a three year old.

''No need... I was told that if you don't, you die now instead of later so...'' Malfoy shrugged and drew his wand.

''Is that realy a good idea Draco?'' Maria said as everyone around them drew their own wands as well. ''Everyone in this room owns a wand, and your on the oher side and alone...''

''Aww... Don't worry your pretty little head Maria... I'm not alone...'' He said as he waved a hand behind him. About 50 other Death Eaters walked through the doors into the Hall. ''Now, if the Mudblood's finished...'' The rest of Malfoy's sentence was cut of as Alicia slapped him round he face. She hit him that hard, he fell to the floor.

That was it. The fight started again, only, this time in a small, inclosed space which was more dangerous as spells hit the walls and ricotied back into the fight.

I have found Alicia and she is now chained to a chair. There's no way she can escape now! It's metal chains and they have at least five padlocks on them! Ha! Your safe now Angie...

Happy Valentines Abi! Hope you'll enjoy the day...I totally hate it because I broke up with my boyfriend last week, so I'm kinda miserable today...but you know whatever!!!!!

Don't worry... I hate the day too. It's a long story and it still upsets me sometimes, making me burst out crying for no reasons while I'm in school... :blush: Long story short, I broke up with my ex the week after today coz he cheated on me with my best friend and now I like him again... Even certain words make me cry coz they remind me of him...

Anyway... A short chapter as I can't see properly coz I'm starting to remember things I hid away since last year... This is a bridge chapter of the battle, meaning only the one battle scene left now...

Chapter 31

Alicia and Jamie were backed against the wall. Bellatrix laughed and stepped forwards from the group of around 10 Deatheaters surrounding them.

''Now, Your coming with us Daniels... Someone deal with Starlight...'' She spat as she waved a hand at him. Two large figures stepped forwards and then hit the wall behind them.

''Don't touch him...'' Jamie had never heard so much anger and hatred in Alicia's voice before. He stared, shocked, at her as she stood protectively in front of him, hands raised, palms forwards.

''Bingo... I think we've just found Daniels' weak spot...'' Lucius placed a hand on his sister- in- laws shoulder as she went to step forwards.

''Calmly Bella... We don't want to act too swiftly... She has a choice after all'' She smiled evilly as he turned towards the couple against the wall. ''Alicia, come along... There are three choices, life, death or losing the last thing you care about''

Alicia's eyes darted to Jamie as she moved back to the wall, him forcing her of course. She closed her eyes and hung her head as Lucius' words hit her. When she looked up, her eyes were clear.

''Fine... You leave him alone though'' She said, her tears starting to form in her eyes.

''Alicia... What?'' Jamie whispered as she walked forwards, towards the group in front of her.

''I can't loose you... I'd rather you live and be happy without me than not live at all'' She said quietly as he caught her arm and turned her round.

''No... Don't do this... Please?'' He begged, his own tears starting to fall down his pained face.

Alicia flung her arms round his neck and pulled him down to her level. She looked him n the eye before speaking. ''I love you. Never forget that... You are all I care about now'' And with that, she kissed him, her own tears pouring down her cheeks. When she pulled away, he pulled her close again, burying his face into the waist length blue curls.

''I love you...'' He whispered as she breathed deeply.

She nodded and turned. Walking away from him seemed the most difficult part for her. Bellatrix's face showed amusement when she looked up again.

''Let's go then...'' Alicia's voice had lost all emotion now. It sounded dead.

Lucius and Bellatrix lead the group out of the Hall, Alicia following behind them with Harry by her side. He had put up more of a fight. He was now levitating unconscious again while Hermione tried to get Ginny on her feet.

She had suffered at least 5 different torture curses at once trying to protect Harry. She couldn't stand properly and jumped at anything that moved too quickly.

LMAO at all you guys...my valentines day (i can't even spell it) consisted of homework, and TV...i was watching movies all day. Pretty good day, unless you count my friend trying to get me a boyfriend...name all these random guys that i know but find immature and annoying...like most of my class. And then i had to babysit, and one of the boys wouldn't stop crying. *sigh* so im sure SOMEONE somewhere had a better day than me

but, onto things that matter...like the post!! It was soooo sweet...Alicia loves Jamie, awwww. Self-sacrifice is an interesting thing...also very adorable when written right. Good job Abi! *continues to be impressed*

Chapter 32

Jamie slid down the wall with his face in his hands. The large oak front doors closed with a slam as Hermione and Ron looked over.

''I don't know what to do...'' Hermione whispered as she glanced at the boy. ''I don't think Ginny has realised about Harry yet...'' She added on as she looked over Ron's shoulder at his sister.

''What can we do? She chose this... We change it'' Ron said, causing Hermione to stare at him.

''How though?'' She said, dropping to the floor and crossing her legs.

''I have no idea... I was hoping that you would have one'' Ron answered as he copied her.

They both looked over towards where Jamie was. Ron swore loudly and Hermione looked round.

''JAMIE? JAMIE! WHERE ARE YOU?'' She shouted,standing up and looking round.

Alicia didn't look where she was being lead until the light from the moon disappeared. She looked up and saw the forbidden forest surrounding her. She was shocked that she was this close to the school.

The Deatheaters were laughing and talking now that they knew what was going to happen. Alicia didn't hear what they were saying. She was listening to the shouts echoing towards them from the castle.

''JAMIE! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?'' She recognised Ron's voice. She looked back towards the castle and another wave of laughter rolled through the group.

''Second thoughts?''

She shook her head and returned her gaze to the floor. She was pushed forwards again and Harry crashed into her side. Laughter echoed round her again.

Ginny's shouts were carried to her and she turned again. ''HE'S GONE OUTSIDE! HE WOULDN'T FOLLOW HER, WOULD HE?'' Alicia stared, horrified at the small square of light just in sight through the trees.

''JAMIE! JAMIE, COME BACK YOU IDIOT!'' Ron shouted and Alicia's lips twitched slightly. One of the men surrounding her clocked on and spoke, making her jump and cling to Harry.

''Bellatrix, the Starlight boy is following us...'' Alicia glared at him as Bellatrix turned to her.

''Carry on. Wait in the clearing. I'll take her to meet him'' Alicia ignored her and continued to look back. She felt a strong hand grip her arm and pull her backwards, towards the voices she wanted to be with.

Bellatrix never loosened her grip on Alicia's arm until they had reached the edge of the forest again. They both saw the dark figure running in the other direction.

As Alicia went to call out, Bellatrix turned her wand on her. ''Crucio'' Her voice was bored and she didn't even watch Alicia fall to the floor screaming. The figure stopped, turned and ran towards them.

Oh, Bellatrix is a real super b****!!!!! You should definitely kill her off!!!! Hope Jamie won't get hurt trying to help Alicia....PAMS!!!!

Chapter 33

Jamie stood slowly as Hermione and Ron spoke in the center of the room. He walked round the edge of the Hall and out the doors. He threw the front doors open and ran out across the grounds, searching for anything.

He slowed down as he neared the Lake, not wanting to get any closer than h was in the dark when the grass round his feet lit up in a yellow light from behind him. He heard the screams he knew too well. He spun round and picked out the tall shadow at the edge of the forest, a figure on the floor at their feet. Without thinking, he ran towards them.

''Alicia! Ali!'' He shouted and the screams ere suddenly mixed with laughter. ''Bellatrix! Let her go!'' He yelled, anger pulsing through him as he drew his wand. The woman just laughed harder and intensified the curse, causing Alicia to scream louder.

He didn't know what happened next but he stood rooted to the spot in the ringing silence.

All she could feel was knives attacking her body. They didn't stop as she screamed. She heard someone call her name but she couldn't answer. The knives seemed to double in number then, stabbing her over and over again. Then, a bright green flash erupted through her eyelids and the pain disappeared. She lay still, panting as if she'd run the marathon, in the silence that followed.

After a couple of minutes she opened her eyes and blinked a few times, trying to dislodge the leftover tears. She didn't sit up as she was still in too much pain, but sh recognised the figure in front of her head.

''Jamie?'' Alicia whispered and he spun round to look at her. ''Jamie! I'm so sorry...'' She breathed as she waited for the final words from Bellatrix. But they didn't come. Then it hit her. ''Jamie, what have you done?''

''I didn't... It just happened'' He said, staring down at her with a shocked expression on his face.

''I believe you...'' She whispered as she tried to get up. Jamie seemed to wake up then and stretched out a hand for her. She flinched slightly but took it anyway. He pulled her right up into his arms and buried his face into her shoulder.

''Never. Do. That. Again! I thought I lost you forever!'' He whispered, a million emotions clouding his voice.

''A promise I'm happy to keep... I thought that I'd never see you again'' She said as she closed her eyes. An image flashed up against her eyelids and she gasped.

''What?'' Jamie said, pulling away to look at is face. A smile was spreading slowly across it and her clear eyes were fading to a bright blue as her hair straightened and turned scarlet.

''When that happened,'' She said, glancing at Bellatrix's body at their feet, ''Harry and Voldemort were fighting in the forest... Harry's won!'' She said the last bit and Jamie's face split into a grin as well. He grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the forest.

''Come on... Lets go meet him and then tell the others!'' She laughed and thy ran into th forest, Jamie's wand tip lit, Alicia leading the way to the clearing she had seen.

Chapter 34

Jamie stepped into the Hall with a blank expression on his face. Everyone in the room fell quiet.

''Jamie?'' Hermione said carefully as she stepped forwards, Ron trying to pull her back. ''Jamie, are you okay?''

''I followed them into the forest... Bellatrix had Alicia... The others took Harry deep into the trees...'' He said, bowing his head and looked at the floor.

''I'm so sorry...'' Hermione said as she drew nearer. He looked up and stared at her.

''While I was searching, I ran into a couple of people who wanted to say hello...'' He looked over his shoulder and everyone followed his gaze.

''HARRY!'' Ginny screamed and ran at him. As she jumped on him, he winced slightly but he shook it off and laughed.

''Why you little...'' Hermione couldn't think of any names as she hit him on the arm. He laughed and Alicia came to stand beside him. Hermione hugged her tightly.

''Can't. Breathe'' She gasped and Hermione stepped back. ''Did you think I was dead?'' She said, putting her hands on her hips.

''Well... The way he was acting made it seem that way'' Hermine said as she pointed towards Jamie. He grinned and shrugged his shoulders.

''Just ignore him... He's still in shock, thats all...'' Hermione stared at her confused. ''Remember he said that Bellatrix had me? Well, she was torturing me and then Jamie done something...'' She glanced at him and kept the truth from Hermione and everyone else who was listening. Jamie laughed quietly.

''Don't lie... Bellatrix is dead... Same as Voldemort... Although that was Harry'' He said and looked towards the large group of people hugging where Harry was standing five seconds earlier.

''You killed Bellatrix?'' Lupin said as he stepped up behind him.

''On accident. One minute she was standing there, the next I'd pointed my wand at her and she was dead... I didn't even know I was doing it'' Jamie explained as Ginny dragged Harry over towards them.

''Harry...'' Hermione said and hugged him as well.

''Voldemort is dead as well?'' Lupin said, turning towards Harry. He nodded and started to explain what had happened.

(OOC- That is the battle in Deathly Hallows! Only the Harry Vs. Voldie part though!)

As Harry spoke, Ginny stared at Alicia. 'Is every thing over now?' Alicia nodded once. 'Sure?' She nodded again. 'Then we have a wedding to plan!' Alicia stared blankly at her for a second, her eyes turning pink, before grinning.

'Wedding'S'...' She laughed at the look on Ginny's face and ignored the mental questions being thrown at her.

''But the Deatheaters?'' Lupin's question got everyones attention.

''Gone... Once Voldemort had hit the ground, they apparated away... Which reminds me, how can that be possible?'' He asked and Lupin looked away.

''No...'' Alicia whispered, drawing attention of the people round her as she stared at the ex professor. ''He can't be... No'' She pleaded and Jamie wrapped an arm round her waist.

''What? Come on... Tell us'' He said, looking at Lupin who watched Alicia as she stared back at him.

''People can apparate in Hogwarts now because Dumbledore was killed ea-'' He was cut out by the screams and shouts of the students, filling the silent hall. ''Earlier on today in his office. It was before the battle began and Voldemort killed him his- self'' Lupin continued, louder so that they could hear him over the noise. When he had finished, Alicia turned into Jamie's chest and started crying. Jamie wrapped both arms round her and stared up at him.

Fred and George, who had been standing with Ron by the hour glasses, were comforting Angie and Amelia as they shook their heads. Unlike most of the girls in the hall, they wasn't crying. Yet. Just shocked at the news they ad just heard. George rubbed Amelia's arm as tears appeared in her eyes and Fred took Angie's hand.

Oh, so bad bad Voldie killed Dumbledore? That is so not good!!! Thank God I'm not crying though and I'm just shocked...do you know how much I've cried Dumbledore in the actual book? I can't do it again!!! I hope Voldie is really dead...Ginny's right....there's a wedding (not to mention me and Amelia merrying the twins) to be planned, we can't have Voldie around! In case you didn't get it...I LOVED THE POST!!!! PAMS!!!!

Chapter 35

Two weeks had passed since Harry beat Voldemort. The snow still lay deep over the grounds at Hogwarts when Alicia woke up. She sat up and her eyes fell on the white dress at the bottom of her bed. Then her eyes traveled to the three beds round her. Hermione, Ginny and Luna were still asleep, their dresses laying at the foot of their beds.

She glanced at one of the clocks in the room. 6 ' clock in the morning.

Alicia walked towards the window seat with her duvet still wrapped round her shoulders and sat down. Peering out over the white landscape her thoughts traveled back to the morning after the fight.

''Maybe we shouldn't...'' Jamie said and Alicia rolled her eyes. She looked at the back of his head as he rested against the couch from his seat on the floor.

''And maybe you should stop saying that! Look, if tomorrow is too early, and it is, maybe we could put it back a couple of weeks...'' She said as she lay on the couch in the common room.

''Two... You sure? There are a few funerals to attend though...'' He said, putting his head down slightly.

''Hey, I know that... Half of them are my family... Most of them actually'' She said as she ruffled his hair. ''I lost all my family in that battle... I want a new start... A new family'' She said and he looked round at her with a smile on his face.

''Two weeks from yesterday...'' He said and she nodded.

She sighed and rested her head against the wall as an alarm clock went off behind her.

'Half 9... Ginny says wake up or she's coming in'

The three boys sat up, startled as Alicia's voice echoed in their heads.

''Wha-'' Ron said as he looked round him. Harry groaned as he caught a glimpse of the clock.

'We're up... Tell Ginny that as well please' Jamie climbed out of bed and headed for the bathroom. Harry and Ron layed back down. 'Actually, send Ginny...'

As he shut the door, Jamie heard the dorm door open and Ginny's shout, followed by Ron's scream and Harry's voice. He shrugged and stepped into the shower.

''You two are so lazy! I swear, if either of you are 5 seconds late for ANYTHING today, I will kill you!'' Ginny shouted as Harry and Ron rolled out of bed.

''It's half 9 though! Why do we have to get up this early?'' Ron moaned as he rubbed his eye.

''Because you both said that you'd help us get things sorted for today! And it's not early... I've been up since 6! JAMIE! HURRY UP!''

Jamie opened the door and stepped out as he did up the last few buttons on his shirt. ''Fast enough?'' He said as he passed Ginny and headed towards the bedside table.

''Yes... Now, what are you doing with your hair? It has gotten quite long'' She said as she held her wand up.

''And it's staying this long thank you... I was going to leave it...'' He trailed off under the look Ginny gave him.

''Your not leaving it! Come here!'' She sat him down on the bed and muttered a few spells under her breath. Harry and Ron laughed. ''Done... What is funny?'' Ginny said suddenly, pointing her wand at them.

''Nothing'' They both said quickly as Jamie walked towards the bathroom again. He looked in the mirror on the wall. His hair was dry and it lay flat against his head as if it had been straightened. His fringe just hang in his eyes but it wasn't long enough to annoy him.

''Thanks Ginny'' He said as he walked back out. Harry and Ron had drawn the hanging round their beds as she sat on Jamie's. ''What are they doing?''

''Getting dressed... I'm glad you like your hair... It suits you like that... Are you done now?'' Ginny said as the two boys appeared again. They both wore t- shirts and jeans.

''Yup... Right, we're going down to help out with things outside and in the Hall... See you soon'' Harry said and he kissed Ginny before following Ron out the room.

''Is that your dress?'' Jamie said as he grabbed the white tie she held out to him.

''God no... This is what I through on to come up here''

''God no... This is what I through on to come up here'' She said as she backed toward the door. ''Alicia wants me... I'll come and help later on if you want... I have to help st up though'' She said as she opened the door, still talking.

''Ginny, just go... I'll come down to help in a minute anyway'' Jamie said, waving a hand at her.

''Your not helping outside though... That's a surprise for the both of you... Oh I nearly forgot! Here...'' She handed him a red rose. ''Put it in the buttonhole of your jacket...'' And then she ran out the room shouting. ''I'm coming! I'm coming!''

Harry and Ron walked into the Great Hall and stopped. It was like they had just entered the Hall for the Yule ball. Only, instead of snow falling from the ceiling, it was confetti. Harry shook some out his hair before walking up to Hermione who was arranging vases upon vases of red and white roses.

''Hermione, it looks fantastic! Did you and Luna do all of this?'' He asked as she picked up the last empty vase.

''No... The house elves helped us as well... We're done outside by the way... Done. All we need to do is get these vases outside. Can you help?'' They nodded, grabbed a couple of vases and walked out the room.

As they reached the Lake, Ron whistled. ''How long did it take you to do this?'' An aisle had been formed by someone moving all the snow away from the center of the rows of chairs. The chairs themselves were scarlet and they stood out from the white floor. At least a thousand chairs were placed in lines, all facing the Lake where a podium stood.

''Few hours... You were asleep'' She glared at him before pointing towards the aisle. ''Place a vase at the end of each row on the tables please... Then we can go get ready...'' Harry rolled his eyes. At least Luna seemed to be keeping her cool over this.

''Hermione? What dress are you wearing?'' Ron asked suddenly, causing Harry to feel like he was 14 again for the second time today.

''One that you're not going to see until the wedding... We chose the styles but Alicia chose the colours... Apparently they all mean something...'' She said as they walked through the common room, having taken shortcut after shortcut to get there.

Hermione waved and opened the door to the girls dorm while the boys walked through the door opposite.

Alicia sat on the window seat again, this time with her back to the dark velvet curtain. Hermione had shut them and placed a spell on them which meant that Alicia couldn't see the Lake below. She played with a piece of netting that was attached to the dress she held in her hands.

Ginny burst in the room then. ''Whats the matter?'' She said as she approached the girl. ''Alicia, you need to put that on... Don't make me call Hermione'' Hermione was the Maid of honor and seemed to be the only one who could talk sense into anyone lately.

''I don't think I can...'' She said quietly as Ginny took the dress off her.

''I thought you was ready for this?'' She asked as she helped Alicia do up the zip at the back of the dress.

''I am... I think'' She said as she smoothed her dress. ''I'm just uncertain about it... I'm only seventeen...''

''Leave it alone, it looks fine... And seventeen is perfect for you two... Now, stop fussing over nothing'' She said as she gripped Alicia's hands in hers. Alicia smiled and nodded. ''There... Now, sit and let me do your hair. Can you try and keep your hair black today please. It will help'' She said and Alicia rolled her eyes.
