Chapter 19

Wedding Bells

Ron stood nervously awaiting his bride. Harry placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder as he looked around the room. Ginny walked down the aisle glowing at six months her large bump under a jade green dress, Luna walked beside her in the same dress both holding small bouquets of white roses. Hermione followed behind. Her chocolate brown curls, hung around her face while the back was a cascade of curls with a small veil on top. She smiled at Ron as her father escorted her to him, and didn’t look away throughout the whole ceremony.

The wedding was perfect but it was the reception that blew the guests away.

Draco Malfoy moved quietly into the back row of seats in the room. He watched them and they didn’t even realise he was there. The room was transformed for the reception as he hid behind the guests and then as everyone began to dance he took the chance.

“May I cut in” He smirked, as Ron and Hermione were enjoying themselves. Ron drew his wand “Leave now Malfoy”
“I don’t think I will” He pulled out his own wand and pointed it at Hermione “You see I just wanted to dance with your lovely bride here”
“There not a chance in hell that’s happening” Said Harry walking over and gesturing to Hermione to go to Ginny. The floor was cleared in a matter of seconds as Ron and Harry pointed there wands at Draco. “Now, now, I didn’t want to cause a scene” He laughed
“Go now unless you want to go to Mungo’s in a matchbox” Said Ron not blinking as he stared at Draco. He cruel grey eyes stared back. “Why don’t we tell everyone a secret about your new wife?”
“Don’t you dare?”
“If you were that bothered you would have cursed me by now? But oh you work for the ministry you have to follow guidelines don’t you” He grinned “You can’t attack me unless I get you first can you?”
“I think we can break the rules in your case” Harry smiled back “for scum from Azkaban”
“How was it Draco, did you enjoy sharing a cell with daddy?” Ron stood his ground a smile on his face.
“Oh it was nothing; I guess I was just lonely at night, since your wife wasn’t there to comfort me”
Ron’s face went pale the smile disappeared. “You lying, pathetic creep” Shouted Hermione drawing her wand from her small purse and standing by Ron,
“Why do you feel the need to spoil everything, you are just as spiteful and immature as you were at school”
“I just take such pleasure in your company Hermione,”
“You need to get out now before I kill you”
“Im waiting Hermione”
“Well im not, stupefy!” Yelled Harry, he flew unconscious to the other end of the room and slide down against the wall.

“What about the ministry Harry?”
“I struck first because he was a threat”
“But -”
“Ron he came to a private function and then threatened us with his wand after he’s just been released from Azkaban, I think they’ll understand or we could just forget to mention it ever happened”
“Well we can’t just leave him there what are we going to do with him?” Said Ginny, “He’s not going to be pleasant when he wakes up”
“Leave it to us” Grinned Fred and George and they grabbed his arms and legs and apparated.
Ron hugged a shaking Hermione. “He wasn’t supposed to be out yet”
“I know but he’s gone now and thanks to Harry, Fred and George I don’t think he’ll come back.”
“You two ok” Asked Harry placing an arm around Hermione’s shoulder. “Fine” she smiled weakly “Thankyou Harry, I though we would never get rid of him and then he would tell everyone…” She trailed off tears falling. “It’s ok Hermione” Ginny pulled her into a hug sideways to avoid her bump.


“Ronald Weasley what on earth was all that about” As Molly came striding towards them. “It was nothing mum”
“I don’t believe you Ron; tell me now what he was doing here?”
“He just wanted to cause trouble; he wants to get at me for helping to put him in Azkaban”
“I still don’t believe it, I can tell your lying, what was with what he said about Hermione and missing her”
“It’s all in the past mum, we forgot about it and so should you. He just wants to interrupt things”
“Hmm” She walked away just as the twins reappeared. “We took him far away”
“How far away?” Smiled Harry and Ron
“You know that shack on a rock you told us about in your first year?” They all laughed “but he doesn’t have his wand” Said Ron picking it up “We’ll send law enforcement officers to get him in the morning” said Harry smiling.

The music began to play again and everyone danced, and laughed and drank until they sent them of on there honey moon.

“Hermione Weasley, has a ring to it don’t you think?” Ron smiled sipping wine as they looked out over Sydney. She placed her head on his shoulder “Yes I do”

Chapter 20

New Beginnings

Ginny sat cradling the baby in her arms beaming at Harry. “He’s perfect” Harry laughed sitting next to them. “Just like his mum”.
“I decided on a name if you like it”
“Ok what is it?”
“James Sirius Potter”
“If you sure” He grasped her hand and looked into her eyes “Yes, he’s going to be just like his dad” He stroked the top of his sons head as he opened his eyes. His small brown eyes looked up at his father.
“He’ll look like his dad, but have his mother’s eyes” He kissed her fore head and then his and walked out to the waiting room.

“We have a son” he smiled to everyone who replied with hugs as they trooped in to visit the newest addition.

“Did you see this?” She handed the paper to Ron “To announce the wedding of Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass” He laughed, “she’s in for a hell of a ride with him, do you think she knows what he’s like”
“Yes she’s one of his ex wife’s sisters”
“Really, how many sisters are there?”
“Three, Daphne, Cecilia and Astoria”
He threw the paper into the fire and smiled “Well I think, since it’s been two months since our wedding we’ll be ok” He laughed. He sat down beside her on the couch. “Well we have other things to look forward to” She smiled leaning against his chest and hearing his heart beat with her own. “Like what?”

“Like children, love, life and happiness”
“You put children first is there something you’re not telling me” He looked down at her worried.
“No nothing like that” she smiled “Though I wouldn’t mind some”
“Well not just yet”
“Not just yet”

They sat curled up on the couch for some time in silence. They had forgotten the past and moved on, moved on to look for new beginnings that only forgiveness could bring.

oh my gosh my computer shut down
and now its over! =(
