{Last week of} August, 2070.
Diary Diary-with-no-name,
Life is … such a roller-coaster, these days. I miss France, but less than I had expected to: the prospect of a new school has already driven away most of my worries. It also helps that my new house is in complete disarray – bad as it looks, it provides me an outlet to release any pent-up anxiety. After all, mother is never going to ask who threw the towels in the storeroom. She will … just think it is part and parcel of the mess the move from France has created.
How awesome.
No sarcasm intended, of course.
Visited a couple of stores, today. Bought myself a pair of sparkly, new heels! Red, and Christian Dior. I have taken a picture of them, and shall stick it in this diary. I also plan to call them Golditis. Because they are pretty much the same colour as my hair, which means they have … a bit of awesome me in them.
In other news, I paid Diagon Alley a visit, and ran into a couple of pretty interesting people. Met Torin Kane, or Mr. T. He is kind of handsome and you know me littlereddiary, I can not resist a good-looking guy, my age. Bottom line, you ask? Well, this is how our conversation went, if I remember correctly:
Mr. T: Gold, that's a nice name. Pretty name.
Me: Thank you. I love my name, I think it goes well with my hair. But thanks... Any chance you're single?
Mr. T: Yeah, I am, actually.
Me: That's awesome. We should get some ice-cream, or something.
Mr. T: Are you asking me out?
Me: I think so. No wait, scratch that. I don't think so, I'm pretty sure of it. When do you wanna meet up? For the ice-cream, I mean.
Mr. T: You are something else. I like it. We can go whenever you want.
Me: I wonder why now seems like a really good time. Hehe.
We had a pretty good time. No snogs, no hugstuff, but we talked a bit. BUTTTT! Torin Kane is THE living proof that chivalry is dead. He got the two of us ice-creams, then told me I could get us a second round of the stuff, because I had asked him out! Meh. But that was sort of okay, because I got the two of us a Giant Cone, and they say that feeds the whole family! He had to share with me, hehe… and, of course, to finish the ice-cream.
Things to do:
♥ Fold towels. Stack them.
♥ Phone dad. He has to bring me doughnuts, am too lazy to order!
♥ Stop counting my high heels.
♥ Ditto Attached to the next page of the diary is a crisp photograph. There are words written underneath it in pretty, quite neat handwriting.
