Hi ! I'm Kerri this is one of my first fan fics

so I hope you enjoy it and please post !! All these characters belong to the one and only J.K.Rowling and the HP universe . I'm just borrowing them

chapter 1

They were all in the same compartment on the train Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny. They were headed for their seventh and final year of Hogwarts. Even though they were all very close there was an unsteady silence. The last time they were all on this train was at the end of the sixth year it was a completely different story, Ron and Hermione were together . Harry was still with Ginny, but Ron and Hermione broke-up due to a giant argument caused by Lavender Brown.
Two months earlier
After being dumped for Hermione, Lavender Brown had an idea. At the last meal in of the year in Hogwarts Lavender went to Cho Chang with a plan.
"Okay so we don't talk that often."
"Lavender, we don't talk at all. What do you want?" Cho had a confused expression. Why was Lavender Brown talking to her?
"Listen, every one knows what I want." Cho still had a confused expression "or should I say who I want. " Lavender raise one of the eyebrows as a grin slowly began to spread across Cho's face. Lavender leaned closer,"And I know how I can get him back but i need your help . Meet me in the library when your done."Lavender walked out of the great hall, smiling to herself.
In the library the girls put their plan into action. they sent an owl to Hermione saying :
I saw your boyfriend snogging his ex in the passage to Gryffindor Tower last night before dinner.
One sentence did it all. The owl arrived after Hermione arrived home. Hermione immediately picked up the phone and called Ron (she had recently taught Ron how to use a phone) and after having a huge argument they decide they would just be friends. The tension rolled off Ron and Hermione every time they were in the same room as each other but both wanted to be close to each other because neither one was over the other but they would never admit it.
So as they sat in the train headed to Hogwarts the compartment was in silence with Ginny and Harry huddled close together occasionally whispering to each other and Ron and Hermione sitting as far from each other as possible.
When they finished eating at the welcome feast and Professor Dumbledore had said his speech they were about to leave when he strolled up to them.
"Mr Weasley and Miss Granger , can I have a word with both of you?" They both followed him out of the Great hall and up the stairs to a door niether of them had ever paid attention to before."This " Dumbledore pointed to the door " is your new accommodation. Congratulations! your are now head boy and girl well done!"
"Thank you, sir. " Hermione replied as Ron just stood there looking bewildered. " The password is 'Flipper' your names are on your doors and you are only allowed company until 10:30 pm. Good night."
They entered there new common room and closed the door.The just stood there in silence until Ron broke the ice.
"Wow. so this is uncomfortable." he said with a slight smile on his face. Hermione laughed.
"I've missed that ." Ron sighed.
"Missed what ?" Hermione asked confused.
"Your laugh." Hermione felt the blood rush to her cheeks. They just stood there looking at each other. Hermione was using all the power she had not to run over and kiss Ron. She missed being with him so much. She could feel the tears starting to gather in her eyes. She ripped her eyes away from his and walked over to the door with her name on in and went inside. Ron watched her as she walked away. He didn't like the look she had on her face. So he followed her. He stopped when he reached her door. He was about to knock when heard a sob coming from inside.

Chapter 7 (I think haha!)

Hayley began to walk up the pathway towards the castle.
"Miss Veldings." Hayley spun around to see a man in a long black cloak.
"Oh. It's you." she said, turning round and continuing to walk up the path. He caught up and walked parallel to her.

"What do you want Severus?"

"I have to escort you to the castle, and here you will call me Profesor Snape." He said glaring at her.

"Ha. In case you haven't forgotten Sev " She spat his name in disgust. " I am your boss for the time being. So don't push it and show me where to go." She gestured for him to lead the way. It was about after 12 o'clock so the castle was asleep. She followed Snape down to the dungeons after being sorted into Slytherin. (obviously) She jumped when he said "Riddle" and a section of the wall opened and they walked into Slytherin common room.

"Up stairs to the left. You have your own room." He turned around and walked out leaving her alone. She went to her room,to her bed and fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. She hadn't slept right since she found out what she would be doing but she couldn't help it. The bed was so soft.

"Your new."

"Excuse me?"

"I know everyone in this school and I don't know you so your new." Hayley was sitting in the great hall at breakfast when this girl had came up to her. She was small with short brown hair and green eyes.
"Yeh. Fine. I'm new do you have a problem with that?" This was fun. She loved arguing with people.
"Uhm" She said nervously. "No I don't " She said after making up her mind. "I'm Chloe. Chloe Baird."

"Hayley" she said "Veldings. You can sit here if you want."
Hayley and Chloe sat for the rest of lunch talking about how she hated men after her father left, she said they couldn't be trusted.
Hayley was relieved when Dumbledore hushed the room. She had yet to create her 'background story'. Her relief turned to dread when he started talking.
"Before every one goes to their classes, I wanted to introduce you all to Hayley Veldings. Welcome Hayley. O.K eery one of to class."
Everyone raised from their tables and sounds of scrapping benches filled the room.
" Miss Veldings " hayley turned around to find Snape behind her.From the cornor of her eye she saw a group of five people raise frome the Gryffindor table and head for the door, on of them detached from the group and caught up with a girl from Ravenclaw she had seen when entering the hall. She could also feel Chloe beside her.
"You know what Sev? I can't talk right now. I have things to do." She enphsize the last part so he would understand. Oh crap. She turned to see Chloe with her eyes popping out of her head awaiting Snapes reaction. Oh well she thought They'll have to get used to it because I'm not calling Snape of all people Professor.
"Your time table." He growled. Hayley loved having this control over him.
"Great. Come on Chloe." She grabbed Chloe's arm and walked towards the door. She had potions first woth the Gryffindors
"Hayley. What was THAT !?!"

"What was what? " hayley asked instantly.

"You called Snape Sev and were being totaly cheeky to him and he did nothing!"

"Oh. That. Thats nothing." She said as they sat down at a table.
'O.K today class you will be given a partner who you will work with for the rest of the year." Oh. Great thought Hayley as she watched Slughorn wadle to the front of the classroom Knowing my luck I'll be with some creep.

Hey guys! Just a small chapter cause it’s kinna 3:30 AM over here any way this is Harry’s point of view. Well sort of because it’s narrative :L ha-ha . Enjoy! OK I’ll try and make it long so I’m going to make it 1000 words because I have a word counter on my Microsoft word ha-ha.

Chapter 8
Harry walked into the great hall with the most beautiful girl’s hand in his. Could he be any luckier? They sat down next to Hermione, Draco and Ron, how looked very uncomfortable with the couple. He occasionally glared at Draco when he wasn’t looking.
“Ron why doesn’t Cho ever come over to our table?” Hermione asked Ron a hint of amusement in her voice, she loved the fact that she never came over.
“Ehm...” Harry knew the real reason was that Cho didn’t like Hermione.

“Who’s that?” Harry spun around in his chair. A girl with black hair and pale skin had just walked and sat at the Slytherin table, the four of them turned around to face Draco with questioning looks on their faces.

“Don’t look at me. I’ve seen her before. She must have got here last night.” Draco stated defensively. After every one was done and just about to leave Dumbledore stood up and silenced every one. After telling everyone about the new girl, her name was Hayley Veldings. They got up to leave when Ron hurried away from them to reach Cho. Harry, Ginny, Draco and Hermione walked to the stairs leading down to the dungeons. Hermione and Draco continued down the stairs hand in hand but Harry and Ginny stopped because Ginny wasn’t in potions this period. She went up onto her tip-toes and kissed him lightly on the lips. “I love you.” She said with so much passion in her voice. It had become a regular thing now, saying ‘I love you ‘but the feeling it gave them never went away. Harry descended the stairs and entered his classroom. He sat down with his partner when Slughorn came in and told them he would be giving them all new partners.

HAYLEY’S POV (first person)
“Chloe Baird with Draco Malfoy , Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley , Harry Potter and Cho Chang (She had been moved into their class because it was now the only subject she took and she was allowed to choose what period she did it in.) and Hayley Veldings and Neville Longbottom.” I glanced over at the boy I knew to be Neville, I had seen his picture in the paper but he was different slimmer and better toned. He looked sort of beautiful in a way. Wait what is going on stop thinking like that Hayley! I shook my head to try and clear it but it didn’t work.
“Hayley?” Chloe’s voice brought me back to earth. “What happened to your hair?”
Oh crap.

Sorry It's only like 420 but I am really tiered I'll maybe post more tomorrow but there kind of a cliffie

Chapter 9 (maybe. i forget

) Hayley's POV

TWO WEEKS LATER !!!

Oh.Crap. Am I falling for him?

I just sat there staring at him. I was practically drooling all over the library book that was lying infront of me. I quickly moved my face as he looked over at me, my now chestnut hair fell infront of my face.
"Why is it your hair changes colour again?" by this point the whole school knew i was a metamorphmagus because every time i saw Neville my hair would suddenly get lighter though no one knew it was because of him. I was used to it changing with my mood but I could usually control it but this was incontrolable. Chloe was begining to suspect something because she was always around me. I sighed but when i looked at him I couldn't help but smile and blush.
"I'm a metamorphmagus." when I saw that he was confused I continued. "I can change my apperance at will, look." I had to consentrate really hard because he was there but i managed to turn my skin purple. " you get it now?" I asked laughing at his expression
"Wow. Yeh I get it. but what i don't get is why you always have your hair lighter when your with me but its black anyother time."
"Uhm." Great he would ask that. I needed a destraction. I glanced at my watch and there it was, my destraction. "Oh crap. We're going to be in so much trouble. It's 3 hours past curfew."
We were running through the corridor when " Crap. Its Snape! Quick in here."
Great I would pick the smallest broom closet in the whole world. We were actully pressed together our noses nearly touching. My breathing had become really heavy when our eyes met. Oh what the hell. I closed the distance between us and kissed him full on the mouth. He stood there for a moment, his brain regestering what was going on. I was thrilled when he rapped his arms around my waist and started kissing me back. I responded by rapping my arms around his neck as the kiss got more passionate.

Ok there was no denying it. I had fallen for him and falled hard!

Hope you enjoy the little bit of romance i provided. Ok i promise the next post will be 1000 words
