Hello everyone! I am back with another FanFic! This FF is a bit different though. It is a D/Hr story instead of an H/Hr story. And the reason is because I think the song I have chosen to base my story off suits Hermione and Draco more than it would with Hermione and Harry. Anyways this story is called I’ll Stand By You (the song is by Carrie Underwood) and I hope you all enjoy! Here is the first chapter… Chapter 1: “Hermione, why are you going out with him? He’s a Death Eater!” Harry Potter protested after Hermione Granger told him what she thought was good news. “Harry, do you want me to spell it out for you? I L-O-V-E him! I love him!” Hermione complained. “Hermione. He’s a Death Eater! Just look at what he’s done”. “Harry, Draco has changed.” Harry rolled his eyes. “Hermione, how many times have you said that before?” “Only once!” Harry gave Hermione an 'Yeah right' look. “Ok, maybe twice… ok, a lot of times!” “And how many times have you been right?” “I’m Hermione Granger. I’m always right.” “Hermione! I’m not playing! Draco may have said he’s not a Death Eater, but we don’t know if he’s telling the truth!” “Harry, he is! I know he is!” Hermione yelled. “Fine! But when he tries to hurt you, I’ll make sure he’s dead before he can say ‘Quidditch’!" “Thanks, Harry. I knew you’d understand.” Hermione gave Harry a kiss on the cheek and went upstairs to her room. {In Draco's room} “I thought I told you to stay away from the mudblood,” a cold voice said. Draco turned around to see his father, Lucius Malfoy, standing behind him. “You did… and I obeyed,” Draco snapped. “Don’t you lie to me!” Lucius snapped. “I’m not!” “Draco! If you do not leave that mudblood, I will personally kill you! I saved you once from the hands of the Dark Lord and let me assure you I will not do it again!” And with those final words Lucius dissaparated. Draco collapsed on his bed. He was tired of his father threatening him so much. “But if those are the results of being with Hermione, then so be it” Draco yelled to a portrait in his room. “I didn’t say anything,” the man in the portrait said as he walked out of the picture and was out of sight. Here is the next chapter!
Chapter 7:
“Harry I’m not ready” Hermione said.
“Hermione he’s not dead!” Harry snapped.
“How do you know!” Hermione snapped back.
“I don’t” Harry answered as he pushed Hermione inside the house first.
“Harry!” Hermione yelled.
“Draco?” Harry called out ignoring Hermione.
Harry moved towards the hallway…Hermione moved upstairs.
“Draco?” Hermione whispered.
She looked in his bedroom…nothing. Bathroom…nothing…
“Hermione I found him!” Harry yelled up the stairs.
Hermione ran down the stairs, “Is he dead?”
“That’s a nice question to ask” Draco answered as he struggled to stand up straight while leaning on Harry for support.
“Oh Draco!” Hermione said as she ran towards him and hugged him.
“Ow! Hermione it hurts!” Draco moaned.
“Oh right…sorry!” Hermione said as she pulled away.
“Come on…Draco you’re going to St. Mungo’s and once your settled in we’ll talk to you about what happened” Harry said.
“Yes sir” Draco laughed.
“That’s right!” Harry smiled.
Once the three arrived at St. Mungo’s Draco was taken into emergency. Two hours passed…
Hermione sighed. She was trying to get Harry to talk to her…she hated the silence.
“Hermione if you sigh one more time I will hurt you!” Harry threatened.
“Well it will be better than sitting here on a chair bored and worried!” Hermione snapped.
“Hermione everything is going to be fine!”
“How do you know!? It’s not like you have ever gotten attacked by Voldemort!”
Harry raised his eyebrows.
“Never mind…” Hermione said turning red.
Another hour passed and through out that hour Hermione argued with Harry. But the arguments were about silly things like who has the best wand…
“Hermione mine has beaten so many evil things yours looks weak compared to it!” Harry laughed.
“Yeah well at least mine is able to be smart in and out of class!” Hermione giggled.
A Healer came out…
“Draco is not under good conditions…you have to come back tomorrow…”
Hermione looked at Harry, “Harry what if he dies!”
“He won’t. We’ll come by tomorrow then. Thank you”.
The next day…
“Hello there” the secretary said as she greeted Hermione and Harry.
“Hi. We are here to see Draco Malfoy” Hermione said.
“Um…One thing about Mr.Malfoy…you can’t see him” a Healer said as she came out a door.
Hermione turned around.
“Why not?”
“He…he is no longer here”.
“What do you mean no longer here?” Harry asked.
“I went to check on him at around one in the morning and his bed was empty”.
“Empty!?” Hermione said.
“Hermione calm down…you do have someone searching for him right?”
“Yes…but so far nothing”.
“Thank you” Harry said as he pulled Hermione away.
“Harry! Draco is gone! We can’t just sit here and do nothing!” Hermione yelled.
“We are standing you dummy and we are going to do something. We are going to alert the Order” Harry snapped.
The two then went to headquarters to inform everyone about Draco.

Here is Chapter 8 to I'll Stand By You!
Chapter 8:
“Harry can you explain what is going on?” Tonks snapped.
Everyone turned to look at Tonks.
“What! Ever since he got here he has been pacing up and down the kitchen talking to himself! He wants our help doesn’t he?”
“Tonks has a point Harry” Hermione said.
“Then why don’t you explain!”
“Because…I’m a nervous wreck here!”
“Okay…look there is just one thing you all need to know…Voldemort is threatening Draco and Draco is missing”.
“That’s two things” Hermione said.
Tonks laughed. Harry just looked annoyed.
“So how are we going to do this?” Lupin asked.
“I was hoping you could tell me” Harry said.
“We could go looking for Draco…but what if…” Lupin said.
“What if what?” Hermione asked.
“What if Draco chose to leave? Was there any clues that there was a struggle in his room?” Lupin asked.
“Draco wouldn’t he…he couldn’t do such a thing!” Hermione snapped.
“Mione…Lupin has a point…Draco never gave us any proof that he really did change” Harry said.
“No…” Hermione said as she started to cry.
Hermione then got up and ran out of the kitchen. Tonks got up and followed her.
“Hermione’s a good hider…do you think Tonks will find her?” Harry asked as he sat down.
“Yes…my house is not as big as I thought it was” Lupin answered.
At the Malfoy Manor…
“Draco….I am pleased that you have decided to come without a fight” Voldemort said.
“Me too” Draco said as he stood next to his father.
“Now we can start the plan I have been dying to do”.
