Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (4) four, the first three threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Ferris let a polite, wide smile fall onto his pale features as Vianna led him over to her family, where he saw her parents, two brothers, and Costa waiting for the couple. "Nice to see you again too," the boy said with a brief nod as Mrs. Vincenzi approached him. He released Vianna's hand in order to hug the woman back and then the same to Mr. Vincenzi, letting out a soft chuckle at his comment on his height. "It hasn't been proven, but there's definitely a possibility," he answered, very Ferris-like. His hand quickly slipped back into Vianna's left one, only to feel the cold hard feel of a ring on that hand. The boy's eyes widened for a split second, though he quickly covered it up, and made a mental note to never let go of Vianna's left hand until they had a free moment to switch it to the other hand. "Victor, Vince," Ferris said, giving each a polite nod and a small smile.

Vianna seemed completely oblivious to the ring on her finger, momentarily forgetting all about this minor detail and instead exchanging smiles with her parents as the boy at her side proceeded to greet her brothers, who didn't go and attack him with hugs as Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi did. "Oh hey, Ferris Wheel," Vince replied casually, giving the boy a small smile and trying to keep himself as far away from his mother as possible by standing on the opposite end of the group.

Victor couldn't believe it. It had almost been a year since the whole deal with the kidnappers had started, and Fervi were still together. He had long given up on this fight, though, as Ferris had already more than proved that he wasn't out to cause his little sister trouble. However, it didn't encourage the boy to change his distant and slightly cold ways. "How convenient to see you here, Montgomery; as a professor's assistant, of all things," he said, raising his eyebrows slightly though he didn't seem surprised.

"Oh that's right! You work here now!" said Mr. Vincenzi, his own eyebrows raising as well though there was a more genuine and surprised look to his features compared to Victor's. "Vianna didn't give you any trouble, did she? I think this is the first year we didn't receive a letter about her breaking something or starting unauthorized Quidditch mat--"

"Dad!" Vianna's brows furrowed, looking highly offended. "I've never been a bad student!" she said, her blue-eyed gaze rather disapproving. The audacity!

Ferris could only muster up a small, semi-polite smile as Victor mentioned how convenient it was that he was there at the school, as a professor's assistant. What was that supposed to mean? But the boy had long gotten used to Victor's never-ending distance from him, the slightly cold edge to all of his words and statements. And he'd gotten used to Vince, as well, though luckily for the boy Vince didn't seem entirely cold anymore. In fact, sometimes, he was even rather pleasant to talk to.

He turned his dark brown eyes as Mr. Vincenzi seemed to remember that he'd been working at Hogwarts all year long, and he gave another polite nod to agree with this statement before becoming completely amused as the man continued to mention how they hadn't received one bad letter from the school about Vianna. Ferris let out a chuckle at this, turning to Vianna with a grin as she quickly gave a rather agitated 'Dad!'. He kissed her cheek lovingly, "Aw Vi, don't deny you're troublemaking tendencies," he teased her with a warm smile.

Vianna's jaw dropped at Ferris's words. A conspiracy, that's what this was! First her parents, now Ferris was in it too! "Don't encourage him!" said the girl, turning to the boy at her side with furrowed brows and slightly narrowed crystal blue eyes.

Mrs. Vincenzi chuckled softly and shook her head slightly. "Oh Vittorio, leave the girl alone, this is no time to be teasing her. Our little Vi is all grown up!" she finished with an almost dreamy and rather melancholy sigh, her forehead beginning to crease slightly.

Oh no, not this. Not the sentimentalism. Vianna felt herself sink to the floor at that moment. Her mother had been rather melancholy and emo (lol) lately, ever since Vince and Victor had graduated. But it was only natural; all of her three children were becoming adults now, and the Vincenzi residence had become rather empty without them around. "Are you ready to go, then, Vi?" asked Mrs. Vincenzi, her honey-coloured eyes turning a little more hopeful.

Vianna's eyes, instead, looked horrified. What? Ready to go? Go where, home?! "Uhh-- I..." But Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi knew nothing of Fervi's plans to go and explore Europe, so all this time they were assuming Vianna was just going to head home after graduation and spend her summer in Italy as she usually did. The young girl turned to Ferris then, her forehead creasing slightly as her eyes turned troubled. How was she supposed to bring this up now, of all times? Should she stall them? Should she just be straightforward about it?

Mrs. Vincenzi...emo....

Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Mrs. Vincenzi instructed her husband to not tease the girl as this wasn't the time, all too amused by Vianna's reactions to his own words. He flashed her a wink and a quirky grin before returning his attention to her family, who was now discussing the idea of going home. "Uhh..." the boy had the same reaction, turning his brown eyes to the girl at his side and clearing his throat. Uh...well...They'd never really, officially decided when they'd be leaving for their traveling, but...it sure wasn't going to be weeks from then! Sooner rather than later was the plan, and it just dawned on the boy that they hadn't really told either of their parents. Especially the pair of parents right in front of them. He gulped slightly to himself before giving a weak chuckle. "C-Could you...maybe, excuse us for just a..second?" he said before tugging Vianna away into the crowd once more without an answer.

I couldn't think of a better way to describe it, and "depressed" sounded too strong and even more emo.

Vianna gave her parents a small, weak smile as the boy at her side tugged her away and into the crowd, leaving a rather puzzled-looking Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi behind. Once they were a safe distance away from her parents, Vianna turned to the boy beside her. "What do we do?!" she asked, her voice a bit low though there was no way her parents would hear her even if she spoke at a normal volume. "I-- I haven't mentioned our trip to my parents yet, and... I'm not really sure how they'll take it, to be honest," she muttered, worry clear in her eyes.

Ferris let out a soft sigh as Vianna asked what they were supposed to do before mentioning that she hadn't explained their summer plans to her parents, and she wasn't really sure how they'd take it. "Well...should we tell them now?" he asked with wide brown eyes. That didn't sound like the best plan.... "Why don't...Why don't we--or you, more likely--go to your parents' place for a couple days, and tell them when the moment's a little better?" he suggested, brown eyes a little stressed out.

Vianna wasn't able to give Ferris a proper response as he asked if they should tell her parents now, as she wasn't exactly sure what the best answer to that would be. Yes? No? Maybe? The young girl sighed. She listened as he continued, going on to suggest that she go back home for a couple days and tell her parents at a more appropriate timing, and Vianna's eyes widened slightly at this, her forehead beginning to crease. "But... that would mean spending a couple days away from you..." she muttered in a low, almost guilty voice. And she didn't want the boy to think that she was being clingy or anything of the sort, but... she was really, really looking forward to spending her free time with him, to get started on their lives as two independent people; it was what they had dreamed of since the moment they fell in love.

Ferris gave a weak, rather sympathetic smile as Vianna pointed out that that would mean leaving him for a couple days. But he didn't like this part of the idea either, not at all. How was that at all fair, to finally be free of Vianna's schooling, and to have to separate? "I could come," he said without thinking, realizing a moment later that this was pretty much inviting himself over. But he didn't really think about it, he just knew that he didn't want to separate from Vianna. "N-No, that wouldn't be...appropriate," he quickly reprimanded himself, shaking his head. "I'll come sneak in your window every night!" the boy said rather excitedly, completely serious, as though this idea was completely appropriate.

Vianna listened as Ferris suggested coming along before then quickly taking it back. The young girl chuckled softly at this, rather amused, and listened as he suggested that he would just sneak in her window every night, something which only got her to laugh even more. But she couldn't help finding Ferris's logic completely amusing, how he seemed to find sneaking around more appropriate than coming along. "I can't wait until tonight, it's too far away," said the girl, giving a bit of a pout before her brows furrowed slightly, thoughtfully. "But I know my parents will probably be a little suspicious if I invite you over," she added with a sigh. "I promise I won't take longer than a couple days to tell them, though," she continued a little more reassuringly.

Ferris gave a weak smile as Vianna mentioned that she couldn't wait for that night, that it would take too long to come. "I know, but I promise, I'll show up," he kissed her cheek lovingly, listening as she promised that it wouldn't take more than two days to tell her parents. "Alright then, gem..." he said, flashing her another half-hearted smile, not exactly happy about having to separate from her. And in all of this drama, he'd completely forgotten about her ring still being on, and therefore didn't mention it at all as he admired her with slightly saddened brown eyes. "In..." he checked his watch (which was still on his right wrist) "7 hours, I'll be at your window. Try to get to bed early, alright gem? I can't wait longer than nine." He flashed her a weak smile.

Vianna gave a weak smile as Ferris assured her that he would show up, before then sharing with the girl that he would be at her window in exactly seven hours, that she should try to get to bed early that night as he couldn't wait longer than nine. The young girl nodded her head, her smile widening slightly. "I'll be in bed by nine, I promise," she said softly, watching the boy for a moment before leaning on her toes to place her lips upon his own.

Ferris gave another soft smile as Vianna assured him she'd be in bed by nine before leaning up on her toes to kiss him in that way he loved so much. He slipped his arms around her waist, returning the kiss lovingly for the sweet moment it lasted, before breaking apart and flashing her a small smile. "Alright, let's go turn you over to your parents," he said jokingly, though there was obvious reluctance in his tone and dark brown eyes. He hadn't expected having to let go of her so soon, and he didn't really like it.

Vianna's crystal blue eyes fluttered open as the couple pulled away from the kiss, and she gave a soft chuckle as Ferris mentioned they had to go turn her over to her parents now, as if he was turning her in to the police instead, or something. And the young girl nodded her head slightly, though she seemed just as reluctant to let go of him as he seemed to be of letting go of her. And after just watching the boy before her for a couple more moments, Vianna let out a sigh and began leading him through the crowd and back over to her parents, her hand still intwined with his own.

Ferris, too, seemed reluctant to walk back over to Vianna's parents, letting out a soft sigh and a weak smile as they approached them. "Well, I should get going...My mum's gonna want to see me, probably my dad too," the boy said, giving the family as polite of a smile as he could muster and a weak wave. He then turned to Vianna, giving her an even weaker smile, though he tried to muster up more of a happy gleam to his brown eyes. "I'll see you soon, gem," he murmured to her, more so that the family (especially the brothers) couldn't hear this rather private moment. But it was always rather intimate whenever Ferris broke out the word 'gem'. And despite his quiet tones, it was quite obvious by the expression on his pale face and the loving look to his brown eyes that he was being a cheeseball to anyone watching. "Love you," he murmured, flashing her a small, quirky smile and leaning forward to kiss her forehead.

Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi nodded their heads as Ferris announced he had to get going, as his parents probably wanted to see him. "Oh, send your mother greetings from our part," said Mrs. Vincenzi with a friendly, polite smile. Vianna turned her gaze away from her parents and to Ferris instead as the boy addressed her this time, telling the girl that he would see her soon. She nodded her head at this, the smile on her face weak and rather unenthusiastic though she tried her best to keep it happy. "I love you too," she replied softly to his following words, her smile widening slightly as his lips met her forehead. "Good-bye, Professor."

Ferris finally released Vianna's hand, flashing her one last smile before turning to the rest of the Vincenzis and giving a brief wave. "I'll see you all soon, I'm sure," he said politely before his brown eyes flashed to Vianna one last time, and he disappeared into the crowd, off to grab his things from the dorm and head back home for a few hours.

So then seven hours later...
Vianna was, as promised, in bed by nine o'clock. Actually, she'd been there since a little earlier than nine. This being-the-only-child-in-the-house deal was horrible! Now that Vince and Victor weren't around anymore, Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi seemed to have nothing better to do than pay Vianna their whole, undivided attention. And the girl didn't like it, not a single bit. Perhaps it wouldn't have bothered her so much, had it not been because this new attention she received led to her parents noticing the ring on her left hand! And, of course, they did not delay a second to bombard the girl with questions. And though Vianna tried to wave it off as unimportant, telling them she had only switched fingers because she got bored of seeing the ring on the same finger for so long, it did not make Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi any less suspicious of it all. So the girl excused herself from dinner early that night and spent the past couple hours in her room, trying to think up better excuses that would convince her parents and trying to figure out how in the world she was supposed to bring up her plans with Ferris to them. It wouldn't be easy, especially now that they seemed so convinced that their daughter was hiding an engagement from them.

Ferris apparated over to the Vincenzi house around 8:50 that night, unable to help but be anxious to see his fiancee. He'd missed her. It wasn't at all fair that they had to separate, and he was most definitely not happy to have to do so. But he felt better as he took his broom out and flew up to Vianna's window, peaking in only to see his favourite person on the planet laying in bed. He knocked very gently on the window pane, not wanting to be too loud in fear that her parents would still be awake and in hearing radius.

Vianna was abruptly snapped out of her thoughts as she heard a light knock on her window, and she immediately sat up only to find Ferris hovering by her window. The young girl beamed immediately on instinct, her crystal blue eyes sparkling at the sight of him as she quickly hopped off the bed and rushed over to the window, opening it wide to allow the boy room inside, causing the light curtains to wave with the night wind. "You're early!" said Vianna with a grin.

Ferris gave a grin as Vianna seemed to notice him, coming over to the window and quickly letting him in with the note that he was early. "I tried to wait, but I couldn't," he admitted, for once not looking at all embarrassed by this. In fact, he seemed more preoccupied with getting off his broom and getting his arms around Vianna, which he did in the next minute. "Hi there," he murmured with the warmest of smiles as he pulled her slender waist over to him, unable to help but want her closer immediately; he'd missed her, he'd gotten used to having her in the same castle as him, if not the same room, and to be fully separated was odd and uncomfortable.

Vianna gave a soft chuckle as Ferris mentioned that he tried to wait but was unable to do so, before then greeting the girl as he pulled her a little closer. The young girl smiled brightly up at him, leaning on her toes to place a short kiss on his lips. "Hello, Professor. Long time no see," she said, giving an amused smile. She watched the boy quietly for a moment, merely scanning those features she had missed so much in the past [almost] seven hours, before she then took one of his hands from her waist and intwined it with her own, leading the boy over to the bed. "I'm really glad you're here, Professor, it's been a kind of... messy day," she said as she proceeded to sit on the bed, making a bit of a face at this subject she was bringing up.

Ferris returned the sweet, short kiss Vianna placed on his lips, giving a soft smile as Vianna mentioned that it'd been a long time, no see. "Trust me, it's been longer for me," he said, following her over to the bed and listening as she announced that she was really glad he was here as it'd been a messy day. "Oh?" he said, his eyebrows raising just slightly. "Tell me about it," he said, climbing onto the bed (already in his pajamas) and resting on his side on top of the covers.

Vianna watched with a faint smile as Ferris proceeded to make himself comfortable before then proceeding to lay down as well, facing the boy laying on the other side of the bed. "Well..." she started softly, "My parents kind of... they kind of think we're engaged," she admitted quietly, as if this was a big fat lie her parents should be ashamed of believing. "They-- they noticed I had switched the ring from my right hand to my left," she added with a sigh. "I told them it was just because I got tired of seeing it on my right, that it was no big deal, but then they went on to ask if we were engaged, rather straightforwardly," she continued, her forehead creasing slightly as she remembered this rather unpleasant conversation.

Ferris, the poor boy who hadn't been expecting anything on this level of excitement, nearly let his chocolate brown eyes pop out of his head as Vianna informed him rather casually that her parents thought they were engaged now. "What?!" he said, eyebrows raised as he listened to the girl next to him explain that they had seen her ring on her left hand (something that made him mentally smack his forehead) rather than her right, and though she'd tried to shrug it off, they'd asked her straightforwardly if she was engaged. "Well? What did you tell them?"
