Vianna laughed once again as Ferris asked her not to joke about that, that if she really did those things, the world might collapse. "Now you're just being exaggerated," she told him with an amused smile, placing a kiss on his cheek. She then placed another on his jawline, and lowered over to his neck, placing a last kiss there before pulling back with a mischievous giggle, obviously just trying to tease the boy because she was nice like that. |
"Yeah, maybe, but I don't want to find out...You wouldn't want the collapse of the world on your shoulders, Vi," the boy said with a soft chuckle. "Or rather, your legs, that is," he added with a boyish grin. But he was distracted from his own words as she placed a kiss on his jaw, and then moved to his neck, something that always (always) got the poor boy to freeze and grow flustered. That's just what happened as he listened to Vianna's little giggle, to which he shook his head with a playful glare, attempting to snap out of his frozen state. "You're a troublemaker," he decided. |
Vianna's giggles only grew as her blue eyes fell upon the flustered boy laying beside her, far too amused with the way he seemed to freeze just from this simple gesture. "A troublemaker?" she repeated, eyebrows raising with mock surprise and confusion. "I don't understand what you're taking about, Professor. I haven't made any trouble in a while," she said innocently, as if she honestly had no idea what in the world the boy was accusing her of. |
But at this point in their relationship, the young man could usually see past her mock innocent expressions and tones and see that she was being even more of a troublemaker. "I think you stir up trouble all the time, gem," the boy contradicted with a grin, admiring her for a moment before seeming to let go of this minor argument and leaning forward to kiss her cheek as his eyelids grew a bit heavier. "Are you tired?" he asked softly as he leaned over to turn out the bedside light. |
Vianna laughed lightly as Ferris expressed his belief that she liked to stir up trouble all the time, rather amused by the way he seemed to have grown immune to her innocent tones and expressions; though it did make it a little more difficult for the girl to get her way now. She smiled as he placed a kiss on her cheek and nodded her head as he asked if she was tired. "Extremely," the girl replied honestly. "And you?" |
Ferris gave a soft smile as Vianna admitted that she was extremely tired, giving a chuckle as she asked how tired he was. "Very," he confessed, sinking back into the sheets as the couple fell into darkness now that the lights had all been turned off. Now in relaxed silence and darkness surrounding them, the boy pulled Vianna closer to himself, leaving her enough room to curl up as he so hoped she would, as he found himself oddly comfortable that way. "Goodnight gem," he murmured, kissing her forehead softly. |
Vianna gave a faint smile as Ferris confessed he was very tired, her blue eyes sympathetic before he then pulled her closer, and the young girl let out a sleepy yawn, growing even more sleepy now that the lights were all off and they could go to sleep in peace. As the boy hoped, and as she often did, the young girl curled up beside Ferris, her blue eyes closing as she did so and her head using his chest as a pillow. "Goodnight Professor," she replied softly, taking no longer than a few minutes to fall into a deep, peaceful sleep. ooc: I'll be back in 30 minutes |
OOC: Ok! ^_^ Ferris followed into sleep just a few moments after Vianna, his brown eyes closing completely as he drifted off into a peaceful sleep with the girl at his side. He kept her close to himself as his breathing evened and his features turned calm and unworried. |
Despite the anxiety she'd been feeling these past couple of weeks, Vianna was able to enjoy a peaceful sleep that night. A wave of relief and calm washed over her, and though she was still a little nervous about graduation, by the following morning she was feeling rather refreshed and energized. Her crystal blue eyes fluttered open as the alarm on the bedside table went off, bright and early that morning. She let out a sleepy yawn and squinted her eyes at the bright sunlight filling the room before allowing a smile to curve the corners of her lips at the sight that lay beside her. Smiling brightly, she leaned over and placed a kiss on his lips, and then quickly sat up, feeling far too anxious and antsy to stay still, to not start getting ready for the upcoming ceremony. ooc: Are we actually RPing out the whole graduation ceremony thing? |
OOC: :hmm: Nah, I think that would be...:faint: Why don't we just let them head out to the Great Hall, and then skip to afterwards? :xd: Ferris was woken up by the sharp noise of an alarm going off, his brown eyes fluttering open just barely to see Vianna switch it off, and he gave a brief, sleepy smile. It was then that she placed a kiss on his lips, a gesture that he returned a little slowly due to the fatigue that came with just waking up. "You're chipper," the boy noted, his voice a little rough as he opened his eyes more, a smile growing on his pale face at the sight of Vianna starting to get up. |
ooc:  Okay, sounds good! Vianna turned to the sleepy boy at her side as he seemed to wake up and commented on how chipper she was. At this, the young girl let out an amused chuckle. "I'm graduating, Professor!" she announced, as if he didn't already know this. "I'm officially a Hogwarts graduate! Well, almost... but... this is it! After this, we can get started on our trip, and we will have so much free time to spend together," she said with a grin, crystal blue eyes sparkling in the morning sunlight. |
Ferris let out a soft, sleepy chuckle as Vianna informed him, very excitedly, that she'd be graduating that day (as though he hadn't been practically counting down the days, and was unaware). "I know gem, I'm excited," he agreed with a warm smile, listening as she mentioned that after she graduated they could begin their trip and have loads of free time together. "I can't wait," he said softly, admiring her sparkling blue eyes with a bit of a daze to his features. |
Vianna gave Ferris the brightest of smiles as he shared that he, too, was excited before commenting that he couldn't wait until they could start enjoying their free time together. "I'm going to go shower now," said the girl, leaning over and placing a quick, peck kiss on the boy's lips. "I'll be back in a little bit," she said. "You should probably start getting ready, too, alright?" |
Ferris returned the gentle peck Vianna placed on his lips, listening as she mentioned that she'd be taking a shower and instructed him to get ready as well. "Yes, dear," the boy said, traces of playfullness in his tone as he watched her leave, giving her a brief smile before climbing out of the bed slowly. It was rare that the boy would ever get up so quicky (for him) but today was a big day for his fiancee, and he didn't want to hold her back in the room for too long. He headed into one of the other bedrooms to take a shower in one of the extra bathrooms. |
Vianna returned about twenty minutes later, her long brown hair magically dried with just a wave of her wand and a rather horrified look on her young face, one that did not at all match the more formal attire she wore that day. The kids were, after all, supposed to dress a little formal beneath their robes this time, rather than in the usual Hogwarts uniform. So Vianna was in white today, just a simple white, knee-length dress that resembled the ones she usually wore on summer days, and on her feet were matching white sandals with a very low heel (because she'd just fall if she wore anything too high, having never really given heels a chance and always wearing sneakers instead). There was just one thing missing… her robes! Her graduation robes! How was she supposed to show up to the graduation ceremony without her robes?! She burst out of the bedroom then. "Professor!" (I'm assuming Ferris was out of the shower by then) "I have to go find my robes, I think I forgot them in the dormitories, with… well, all of my belongings." Her eyes widened slightly at this - she hadn't packed either! "I'll go meet you downstairs in a few minutes?" |
Ferris, who was still getting dressed in the bathroom, listened to Vianna through the door as she mentioned that she'd forgotten her robes and was going to the dorms to get them, suggesting that they meet downstairs. "Alright, Vi, but hold on a second," he said, emerging from the bathroom wearing something a little different for the young man - nice dress pants, his long-sleeved white dress shirt (the one Vianna had picked out for him so long ago), and his tie, still untied hanging from his neck. The poor boy had a bit of a bewildered look on his face as he held both ends of the tie in each of his hands, staring down at his collar as he attempted to tie it. "I can't...get this to..work," he grumbled softly, not looking up as he walked over towards Vianna. |
Vianna's brows furrowed slightly as Ferris asked her to wait, and she watched as the boy then emerged from the bathroom looking bewildered and rather helpless. She blinked at this, mild concern on her features, before he then spoke, explaining that he couldn't get 'this' to work. Vianna lowered her gaze to his hands then, only to find them failing miserably at tying his tie around his collar. Vianna couldn't help but chuckle softly at this, completely amused by the boy's helplessness. "Y'know, you're really going to have to learn to do this on your own some day, Professor," said Vianna with an amused and rather endeared smile as she took the tie into her own hands and began to tie it gently, not too tightly as she obviously didn't want to choke the boy, but not too loose where he would end up looking messy either. It was rather ironic that she'd know how to tie a boy's tie but had no idea how to walk on heels without falling flat on her face, just another one of the things that bewildered her mother. "There, all done," said Vianna as she finished adjusting the tie and then proceeded to smooth out the boy's collar. "Looking very handsome, Professor Montgomery," she added, raising her eyebrows slightly before letting out a soft chuckle and placing a kiss on his cheek. "I should get going now, Professor. I'll see you in a little bit, I promise I won't take long." |
Ferris gave an amused, slightly relieved smile as Vianna mentioned that he would need ot learn how to do this on his own someday, beginning to look up, "Not neces--" he cut off, brown eyes resting on the girl wearing a dress before his very eyes. "I-I intend on having you for the rest of my days, so I don't think I'll ever truly have to learn," he said, once he'd regained composture. Though he remained silent after that, observing Vianna in this new outfit (something he hadn't seen the likes of since the summer before), and before he knew it she had finished, telling him he looked handsome before mentioning that she needed to get going. He gave a faint smile at this, "Alright, Vi, thanks.." he said, watching her starting to walk away before he suddenly stole her hand and brought her swiftly back to himself all in one fluid motion. "You look beautiful, gem," the boy admitted with a boyish grin, leaning forward to peck her lips lovingly, brown eyes sparkling. |
"You're welcome, Professor," Vianna replied with a warm smile as the boy thanked her, watching him for a brief moment before turning and heading over to the door, only to be pulled back to the boy a second later. Vianna seemed a little startled by this, and she turned to Ferris with slightly widened eyes, listening as he informed her that she looked beautiful. At this, the young girl smiled brightly, and even a little sheepishly, flattered by the comment. "Thank you," she replied, then returning the peck kiss he placed on her lips. Her own crystal blue eyes sparkled back at his brown ones, a slightly dazed look in them as she merely watched the boy for a couple moments, as if hypnotized by the sight of him, before finally snapping out of it with a slight shake of her head. "I'll see you downstairs, Professor," she said, smiling. She gave the boy another quick peck kiss and a smile before heading out of the room, her steps a little hurried as she really needed to get all her packing done and everything before the ceremony started. |
Ferris gave the warmest of smiles as Vianna thanked him for the comment, admiring her pretty blue eyes as both of them appeared to fall into a bit of a daze with the other. "I'll see you after the ceremony," he corrected as she started to leave the room, promising to see him downstairs. "We won't have much time beforehand," he explained, giving her one last smile before turning back to the mirror and making sure everything looked right. He did look rather dashing, but the boy would never admit that nor realize it, and so he thought it was just good enough and headed down the stairs to join the other professors up on the elevated platform that was set up during graduations. OOC: Feel free to skip to after whenever you see fit! ^_^ |
The ceremony lasted a good few hours. Beginning, of course, with the headmaster's (whose funky name I forgot) eternally long speech, along with the speeches coming from the seventh year Head Boy and Head Girl, which also seemed painfully long for those waiting to get this over with, and then of course, a couple of the teachers had to give their own short speeches as well. Vianna had to nudge Margaret, who was beginning to doze off, and only a few moments later, the real ceremony began. And that, in it self, took a little over an hour; there were quite a number of seventh year students in Hogwarts, after all. By the end of it all, almost all of the graduates were running out the doors, completely thrilled to be over with school for the rest of their lives, to finally be free from exams and homework assignments and essays and all of those other horrors that came with being a student. Vianna parted ways with Margaret and Elliot as each of the trio separated to meet with their families, and of course, all of the Vincenzis were there. Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi welcomed their little girl with open arms, squeezing her into a nearly bone-crushing hug, before she was then greeted by her oldest brother, who also awarded the girl a warm hug and a congratulations. And then there was Vince, who had dozed off and was snoring lightly on his seat even after everyone had already stood and moved away. And, of course, Costa was also there, congratulating her youngest master in very polite and formal Italian, before Vianna squeezed the tiny creature into a hug. After a couple moments with her family, Vianna excused herself, promising to be back in a second, before scanning the sea of both familiar and unfamiliar faces for any signs of Ferris; she wasn't really quite sure what had happened to the professors after the graduates went berserk making their great escape from the school, though it didn't really count as an escape now that they were officially graduated, officially free. |
OOC: :xd: I can't remember his funky name either....*sigh* It was so amusing at the time, though, I remember that....:lmao: As the students practically ran off to find their families all around the Great Hall and even outside in the Entrance Hall, Ferris was shaking hands with a number of his 'colleagues' or rather, ex-teachers who had suddenly turned into his colleagues. He gave a polite smile to each, before giving Flitwick a hug rather anxiously, quite ready to see his fiancee now. Finally, after a tormentingly long talk with the headmaster, the boy escaped into the crowd, his height giving him a slight advantage and only a few moments later, he caught sight of a short Italian girl in bright white, looking like she was searching for something. He grinned, practically running over to her through the sea of people, and once he finally reached her, his lanky arms slipped around her waist, picking her up with a laugh. "You're out!" he announced with a quirky grin on his face, lifting the girl off her feet and spinning her around all in one motion. |
ooc: Yes! :xd: Vianna's crystal blue eyes brightened immediately on instinct as a very familiar face came to sight, and she grinned brightly as Ferris came over to her, announcing that she was finally and officially out. She beamed at this, all the excitement and joy in the world radiating from her sparkling blue eyes and her bright smile, and a number of giggles escaped her smiling lips as the boy then picked her up with ease, spinning the young girl around. But before saying a word, Vianna preoccupied herself with greeting the boy instead, and she placed her lips upon his own, kissing him gently and lovingly for a good few seconds before pulling back, her eyes fluttering open and the grin returning to her face. "I missed you," she announced, as if they were just reuniting from a very long trip to different ends of the world. "But now... now our exploring begins! We should get started right this second, Professor!" |
OOC:  Ferris grinned for a moment as they stopped spinning, taking in her excited, beaming expression with near-sparkling brown eyes. He returned the gentle kiss she placed on his lips, finding himself kissing her back lovingly despite the fact that they were still immersed in a crowd of people. As they broke apart and the girl announced that she'd missed him, the warmest of smiles fell onto his features, "I missed you too, gem," the boy replied, pecking her lips before listening as she suggested they start exploring that very moment. He let out a light chuckle at this, finally setting her down and smiling at her from his towering height, "Calm down, Vi, we'll get to travel soon enough, I promise," he told her, pecking her lips just because he could and she was being so cute, all excited in her white dress. "Shouldn't I go see your parents?" Ferris suggested, remembering that the whole Vincenzi clan was supposed to be there that day. |
Vianna gave a slightly sheepish but mostly amused chuckle as Ferris asked her to calm down, assuring her that they would get to travel soon enough. But she couldn't help being completely static, there was just a hype in the air coming from all the graduates that were cheering over their new freedom excitedly all around them. The young girl returned the peck kiss Ferris placed on her lips before then suggesting that he go see her parents, and Vianna blinked. "What? Oh-- yeah, my parents," she said, giving another weak chuckle. She had really spaced out for a second there. She took the boy's hand then, leading him through the crowds and over to where the Vincenzis stood, with Mrs. Vincenzi giving her youngest son a lecture for falling asleep during his sister's graduation. Luckily for Vince, though, his parents were immediately distracted as their daughter returned in the company of her fiancé - or, through their eyes, her boyfriend. "Ah, Ferris!" Mrs. Vincenzi grinned, turning away from Vince who quickly and quietly made his way away from his mother. "How great it is to see you again," said the woman politely, greeting the boy with a hug which Mr. Vincenzi soon followed. Despite that conversation the two last had, Mr. Vincenzi still saw the boy as if he were just another member of the Vincenzi family, a long-lost son or something. "You just get taller everyday, eh boy?" commented the man as he looked up at the towering boy. Mr. Vincenzi was, after all, a little on the short side. He was only a couple inches taller than his daughter, so to him Ferris was as much as giant as he was to Vianna. |
