Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris informed her that he was quite smitten with her, then awarding her a kiss on the cheek before he rested his forehead on her own. The young girl's crystal blue eyes sparkled at the sight of his own so close, smiling warmly at him before he then asked her about the kiss, wondering since when she kissed like that all spur of the moment. Vianna chuckled softly once again, rather amused by the question. "I honestly don't know," she confessed honestly. "But I've got a feeling it's got something to do with those kisses you sneak behind my ear; it's not very nice, Professor," she told him. "But I'll get my revenge, you'll see!" |
Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna confessed that she wasn't sure why she had suddenly started craving kisses, but hypothesized that it had something to do with the kisses he put behind her ear, adding that it wasn't nice and she'd be getting her revenge. "We'll see about that," he said with a grin, pecking her lips softly as he thanked whatever instinct first told him to kiss behind her ear a long time ago. He liked its effects. "I'm going to get us food, alright? Two minutes." |
Vianna returned the brief kiss Ferris placed on her lips before announcing that he was going to go get them some food, that he'd be back in two minutes. Vianna's smile faltered slightly but she nodded her head, knowing she couldn't continue holding the boy back like this. "I'll time you," she told him, a small smile adorning her lips once again as she placed another kiss on his cheek before letting him go. |
Ferris finally released Vianna and climbed out of the bed, stretching his long limbs up to the ceiling with a long yawn before heading out of the room. He turned around right before he left, his brown eyes taking in the sight of her all wrapped up beneath the sheets, and let out a sigh. "You make it really hard to leave when you make the bed look so comfortable," he announced before reluctantly leaving the room. About two minutes later, two cups of coffee were floating into the bedroom, soon followed by a pale boy carrying two plates of Chinese take out, a warm smile crossing his features at the sight of Vianna still curled up in the sheets. |
Vianna couldn't help but giggle with amusement as Ferris accused her of making the bed look comfortable, therefore making it difficult to leave. But it was then that the boy walked out the door, and she let out a sigh before returning her head to the pillows, one of her hands absentmindedly playing with the charms on the bracelet that rested around her other arm. And then, two minutes later, just as promised, the boy returned. Vianna sat up as he returned and grinned at the sight of him and the coffee cups that accompanied the boy. She giggled lightly for no specific reason other than being completely overjoyed to see her fiancé again, before taking one of the coffee cups into her small hands. "Welcome back," she greeted with a smile. |
Ferris appeared to be thinking with his lips more than anything, and so after handing Vianna her plate and coffee cup, he pecked her lips before even thinking of speaking. "Thanks gem," he murmured, flashing her a grin before taking the seat at her side and beginning to finish the plate that appeared to already be half eaten. So what? Maybe he got hungry on the way back, alright? OOC: I need twenty minutes or so! :mwaha: |
ooc: Do I even have a choice?! Vianna smiled as Ferris handed her her plate, and before she could even thank him, he had placed his lips upon her own in a kiss she was quick to return for the brief second it lasted. She flashed him the warmest of smiles as he joined her, sitting at her side, and she proceeded to rest her back against the many pillows accommodating them before noticing that the plate of the boy at her side was already half eaten. At this, Vianna's eyebrows rose for a moment before she let out the most amused of chuckles. "Aw Professor, I didn't know you were that hungry!" she said, now feeling a little bad for holding him back earlier. |
OOC: Noooo! :mwaha:......*sigh* :erm:....Here! *hands back five minutes* "What makes you think I'm hungry?" the boy asked teasingly, giving an amused smile as Vianna pointed out that she was unaware of his hunger from before. "It's alright," he said with a soft chuckle, dropping the clueless act and kissing her cheek. "I'd chose kisses over food any day, and that's really saying something for your kisses Vi. You know me with food." He let out another laugh before continuing to eat with an amused smile. |
ooc: :shifty: Hehe Pastarazzi always wins. :shifty: Vianna raised an eyebrow slightly at the boy, giving him a knowing smile as he asked what made her think that he was hungry, before he then went on to share with her that he'd choose kisses over food any day, and that was really saying something. Vianna chuckled softly at this. "Well, I'm flattered," she replied with a smile, watching the boy for a moment before turning her attention to her plate of food and taking the first bite, her eyebrows raising. "Not bad, Professor Montgomery. And here I thought you were only good with charms from the textbook!" she teased before giggling lightly. |
OOC: Pastarazzi?!! What is this!?!!! "I'm glad you like it," Ferris replied with an amused smile as Vianna mentioned that the Chinese wasn't that bad. "I can do some things outside of being a nerd, alright gem?" he said teasingly, letting out a chuckle as he finished up the last few bites of his food. Being Ferris, he was like a vaccum when it came to food and finished rather quickly, setting the plate on the bedside table before turning to Vianna. "It's an old family tradition, since Mum can't cook." He grinned. |
ooc: :rotfl: Idk, I had a 'Paparazzi' tag, but then when an admin heard about my addiction to pasta, they changed my tag to 'Pastarazzi'. Vianna laughed aloud as Ferris informed her teasingly that he could do other things outside of being a nerd, before then sharing with her that it was an old family tradition, since his mother couldn't cook. "Really?" the young girl replied, a small smile adorning her lips. "My mum can't cook either... she knows a couple things, but only because Costa taught her," she said with a soft chuckle before taking another bite from her Chinese meal. |
OOC: :lmao: I like it! "Yeah, well, Mum doesn't like the idea of house elves," the boy explained with a shrug and a small, amused smile. "She doesn't like the idea of having something serving her. I think it freaks her out," he let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head for a moment before realizing that Vianna had a house elf. "She doesn't have anything against people who have them or anything like that," Ferris quickly assured her with slightly widened brown eyes as he realized how his words could've been taken from moments before. |
ooc: Thanks :D Well... thanks to whatever admin came up with it. Vianna listened as Ferris explained to her that his mother didn't like the idea of having things served to her, that she didn't really like having house-elves, before he then quickly added that the woman had nothing against people who owned house-elves either. Chuckling, Vianna nodded her head. "I understand, Professor, I'm not offended," she told him, amused by his suddenly panicked expression. "My dad used to be like that too, or at least that's what I've heard... but when he met mum a lot of things changed for him," she said, her blue eyes turning to the cup of coffee in her hand before she took a sip from it, then turning back to Ferris with a grin. "You make the best coffee, Professor." |
OOC:  Ferris relaxed slightly into the pillows covering the headboard as Vianna assured him that she wasn't offended, gently stroking the top of his coffee mug as she explained that her father used to think that to until he met her mother, at which point a lot of things changed for him. A little curious, the boy turned silent, thinking with a slight smile, before he was distracted from his thoughts as Vianna told him he made the best coffee. He grinned at this compliment, brown eyes sparkling as he took her hand, intwining their fingers and kissing the back of her smaller, tan hand. "Thanks Vi," the boy said with a warm smile. He paused, his curiosity getting the better of him, and spoke, "What kind of things changed for your father when he met your mum?" |
"You're welcome," Vianna said softly, smiling warmly as Ferris's lips met the back of her hand. She watched the boy for a moment, admiring his features absentmindedly before he then spoke again, asking her about her earlier comment regarding her parents. Vianna chuckled softly. "Well... his whole lifestyle changed. Mum comes from a well-known family in Northern Italy, she'd always been taught to be very prim and proper, and her lifestyle consisted of etiquette, violin lessons, and formal dances. Dad, a native Sicilian, was the complete opposite. Mum didn't really like him at first, but with time he managed to change her mind... Mum's parents didn't really approve, though - it was all very Romeo-and-Juliet-ish," said Vianna with a chuckle. "But my point is, Dad had to change a lot in order to impress my grandparents. It took him years, but he was eventually able to gain their liking. But they gave him a number of conditions when the time came for Mum and Dad to get married - like having Costa around, for example, amongst other things." Vianna took another sip from her coffee and then shrugged, returning her gaze to the boy at her side. "It's all better now, though. Mum didn't like Dad changing and being all proper, anyway, and Dad turned out to have quite a mind for business; grandpa couldn't say anything negative anymore after what Dad had done with the resort." |
Ferris listened as Vianna explained in detail her parent's Romeo-and-Juliet-like romance of when they'd first met, and how her father really had to change a lot in order to impress Mrs. Vincenzi's parents. He listened to this story with an amused smile on his face, trying to get a picture of a young Vincenzi couple as Vianna described, but it was slightly difficult to the boy who was so used to seeing Vianna's parents as the middle-aged parents to his fiancee who he desperately didn't want to disappoint. But talk of parent relationships got him thinking back to all of the stories of his own parents that he'd heard, and he gave a faint smile, "It's kind of funny...It was the complete opposite with my parents." |
Vianna smiled as Ferris mentioned that it was all the opposite with his parents, and her eyebrows rose at this. "Was it?" she said, curiosity beginning to sparkle in her crystal blue eyes. "Well, tell me then!" she asked with a soft chuckle, nudging the boy gently with her elbow, playfully, before letting out another soft chuckle and taking a sip from her warm coffee, breakfast temporarily put on hold. |
Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna asked that she tell him this story, curiosity obviously sparkling in her blue eyes, and he admired this for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, alright," he said, letting out a soft sigh as he thought back to the stories. "Well, you see, my mum and dad met in Hogwarts, about fifth year. And they just...they loathed one another," he let out a soft chuckle. "Mum was this free-spirited artist, with no real respect for much schoolwork. I mean, she had brains, but she never was really into working at school. She would skip class all the time to go paint, you know, drove my father nuts. You see, 'cause my dad was kind of Mr. Popular, I guess you could say. I mean, he was on the quidditch team, he had a good few girlfriends in his Hogwarts years, and he came from a fairly wealthy family. Whereas my mum, her family never really had much money to spare," he explained, brown eyes a little distant as he remembered all of what he'd been told. "Anyway, they met fifth year because they were assigned to some project together, and they were just like fire and ice. I mean, my dad was this dedicated student who had to get top marks for his parents, and mum was this wild artist with a small attention span at the time. Needless to say, they didn't get along," the boy let out a laugh, a smile crossing his features before he continued, "Dad was always trying to get mum to work on one thing or another, and she would always drag him outside, wanting to paint. And over the span of the project, they got absolutely nothing done, bombed the final result, both got the worst marks possible...but they fell in love." Ferris turned his near-sparkling brown eyes to Vianna with a warm smile on his face, silent for a moment before he seemed to snap out of it and broke their locked gaze. "Or so I'm told," he shrugged with a weak chuckle. "And then of course, came the aftermath of that one project..." he shook his head, and quickly realized that Vianna might not want to hear all of that. "But you don't have to hear all that." |
Vianna's eyebrows rose as Ferris started, sharing with her that his parents had actually met at Hogwarts, something she hadn't been aware of. She listened as he continued, explaining to her how his parents' personalities completely differed and how they ended up paired together for a project for which they got nothing done. The young girl laughed lightly at this, amused, though she soon turned quiet and continued listening as the boy went on, explaining that though they'd gotten the worst marks possible, they had fallen in love, a line that got the girl to smile warmly, her blue eyes sparkling once again. She watched the boy for a moment before he seemed to snap out of the daze he seemed to be in for a moment there and then mentioned that after all that, came the aftermath of the project, though she didn't have to hear all that. Vianna's brows furrowed slightly, mildly puzzled. "What do you mean?" she asked. |
Ferris looked back to Vianna as she asked what he meant by the aftermath, and he gave a soft chuckle, "Well, I dunno if aftermath was the best word choice," he murmured thoughtfully, gathering his thoughts before continuing, "You see...after that project they were...inseparable, one was rarely without the other. But that meant that when mum was outside painting for three hours instead of doing homework, so was my dad. And my dad's parents weren't too happy about this new relationship..." he explained with a soft chuckle, thinking for a moment. "Well, they figured rather logically that this new relationship would be like my dad's others; y'know, short, not really serious...But then it lasted three months...and then six...and then a year went by and his parents really weren't liking the fact that their little over-achiever had put his marks on the back burner and was hanging around some girl with flowers in her hair and paint on her nose." He smiled faintly, "So my dad and his parents went through this whole stage of loathing each other, y'know, just really nasty stuff that shouldn't happen between parents and children; insults, verbal abuse, cursing at one another, it wasn't good.......And finally, my dad just said to hell with 'em and they never spoke again," Ferris explained with a slightly amused gleam to his brown eyes. "He and mum stayed together through Hogwarts, immediately settled down, had a kid, and then he left." The sparkle fell from the boy's eyes as his gaze fell to his coffee; and it was rather easy to see how much of a surprise Nathaniel Montgomery leaving his family would've been after hearing this huge story of how in love he and Ferris's mother were. |
Vianna listened attentively as the boy at her side shared the rest of the story with her, her eyebrows raising slightly as he explained how his father's grades were affected by his relationship with Mrs. Montgomery, before then furrowing as the boy added how the relationship between his father and the man's own parents had soured up due to what was going on in school and his grades. Her eyebrows rose again as he shared with her that Mr. Montgomery never spoke with his parents again, going against their wishes and staying with Mrs. Montgomery. But the rather abrupt ending Ferris gave this fairy-tale-like story left the girl with a blank expression for a second there, blinking as she registered this sudden not-so-happy handing. Her blue eyes examined the boy quietly for a couple moments, reading his expression and tilting her head slightly to catch a better view of his lowered brown eyes. "Hey… it doesn't have to end like that," the girl said softly. "There's still more to that story that hasn't been written yet. And I'm sure what's coming after it is happy… you just have to wait for it," she told him, a small smile curving her lips. |
Ferris looked up as Vianna reminded him that the whole story didn't have to end like he just ended it, listening as she mentioned that there was more to it that just hadn't been written yet, that she was sure it'd be happy. He let out a soft chuckle, rather amused with how she could always manage to make him feel better in less than a second. "Well, I suppose more is already being written, isn't it?" he said with a weak smile. "He's back. Mum's like...singing, I hear. And he's being really nice to everyone in town. I don't know what he's getting at..." |
Vianna listened as the boy at her side told her that more was already being written, that his father was back and his mother was singing, apparently; that his father was also being nice to everyone in town. As the boy mentioned he wasn't sure what his father was getting at, Vianna chuckled softly, leaning back into the pillows and finishing off her coffee. "I think it's pretty obvious." |
"Oh do you?" the boy replied with a rather amused smile as Vianna very casually announced that what his father was getting at was rather obvious. He let out a small chuckle, "Would you care to bestow your higher intelligence on me, gem?" he asked, raising his eyebrows as he took another sip of his coffee, finding his mouth had gone a little dry with all that talking. |
Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris asked her to explain her reasoning to him, highly amused by his choice of words. "He's trying to reunite with his family, with the life he left behind," the girl explained simply, a little more seriously. She turned quiet for a moment, then shrugged. "I don't really know your father, so I could be completely off, but... that's just what I think," she said. |
