Ferris, completely oblivious to the coming wave, was unable to just grab Vianna up from the water to prevent her from getting run over by it, whereas the wave just crashed against him, just barely managing to make him lose his footing. He stumbled for a moment before getting back to his feet and was met with the startled expression of one miss Vianna Vincenzi who asked what he was doing there. He jumped at the surprised tone, just realizing how creepy he must've been just watching her and quickly took a step back, his brown eyes falling to the water. "I-I...I did-didn't mean to..." he started, before hearing the girl explain that she thought he was still back there. "I-I-I was," he quickly said with a nod. "S-Sorry, I di---I just...Uh.." he couldn't think or speak, or do anything right. All he could think about was how awkward she must've felt right now all because of him. |
It would be a lie to say Vianna wasn't, indeed, feeling a little awkward at the moment, but it wasn't because she thought Ferris was a creep or anything of the sort; she was just worried he might've not liked what he had seen and... maybe that's why he was staring? Though open-eyed Vianna isn't that different from close-eyed Vianna. "It's okay, Professor," she said with a soft chuckle as he began to stutter, rather amused by him. She turned quiet for a moment, though there was something she really wanted to ask. It was stupid, she knew, and it was something Ferris was probably tired of being asked, but she had to ask anyway. "Did I have something on my face?" |
Ferris gave a weak smile as Vianna told him it was alright, a comment that didn't necessarily make him feel better as he could still feel the tension in the air. But he was brought away from his thoughts of embarrassment as Vianna asked if she had something on her face just moments before. His eyebrows rose as his brown eyes fell back to her finally, his expression blank as all embarrassment left his features. He then let out a small laugh, his smile coming back out more genuine and his brown eyes completely amused. "No, Vi, it wasn't anything like that," he explained softly. |
Vianna let out a relieved sigh and smiled as Ferris assured her there had been nothing on her face. "Good," she said, her gaze falling to the water as she caught sight of tiny little orange fish making their way through the water. "So… you were just watching because… you're Professor Fer and that's what you do, right?" she asked, returning her gaze to him with a bit of amusement in it. |
Ferris gave a weak smile and nod as Vianna accepted the fact that she didn't have anything on her face, his brown eyes falling to the waters once more. Don't ask, don't ask, don't ask....Oh, and there it was. He looked up as Vianna asked if he was just watching because he was Professor Fer and that was what he did, and he gave a weak chuckle. "Ah...n-no, not necessarily," he murmured with a small shrug of his pale shoulders. "Y-You're just..." Why was he getting nervous all of a sudden? It was almost like their first week together--scared to say anything that might freak the girl out. "You're really pretty," he confessed with a weak grimace, as though she would try to punch him out or something. He gave himself a mental head smack, realizing that he'd said this so much recently that it was probably getting tiring to the girl. "A-And the sun, and you're all ta-tan...a-and I was gonna knock you o-over, but then you were all cute and pretty and you were all laying on your back and it was all...sunny..." he trailed off, looking completely ashamed of himself as he stared at the blue waters. |
Vianna's smile faded and her expression turned a little more confused as Ferris spoke, explaining that he wasn't necessarily just staring at her because he was Professor Fer and that's what he did, like she had originally thought. She was just about to ask what had been the reason then, when he began to stutter it out. The young girl was quiet, listening to his response attentively with amusement in her blue eyes. She giggled lightly to herself as he went on, explaining that he was going to knock her over but she was just all cute and pretty laying on her back, and it was sunny, and then he trailed off. Still very highly amused, Vianna wrapped her arms around the boy and tackled him down into the water, so they were now under the surface scaring off all the tiny fish that had been swimming nearby a moment before. She placed a kiss on the boy's lips for a moment before pulling away and swimming off, resurfacing a moment later a few feet away from the scene of the crime. |
Ferris was just about ready to apologize again and crawl in a cave for ten years when Vianna very suddenly wrapped her arms around him. Confused and surprised, he lifted his gaze just in time to see her tackle him back in the waves and through the crystal clear water he could see his girlfriend easily as she kissed his lips and swam away. Grinning like a stunned little boy who'd just been kissed by a little girl, Ferris swam to the surface immediately in search of the girl who'd just escaped. He spotted Vianna's head just a few yards away and he grinned at the sight, quickly swimming after her. Though, unlike other times, the boy didn't grab the girl and pull her out to tickle or kiss her, but rather swam straight past her after making sure she'd seen him. The boy swam for another few feet before coming up for air and turning to make sure she was following behind him. He flashed her a grin before continuing to swim over to the base of the cliff that she'd jumped off just about a half hour before, the shore around it covered in shade and small pebbles along with the small entrance to what appeared to be a little alcove or cave or something of the sort. |
Vianna giggled lightly to herself at the sight of Ferris resurfacing a couple moments later, and watched as he dove under the water once again, swimming right past her and a little further down, much farther from shore now and in much deeper waters. But Vianna followed, as if they were playing some sort of chasing game, amusement in her features when she resurfaced close to the cliff she had jumped from earlier. She gazed up at it for a moment before allowing her gaze to lower and her blue eyes fell upon the cave hidden in shadows. "I didn't know that was there!" she said wide-eyed; obviously all the time she had looked at this cliff she was only preoccupied with the top part of it. ooc: hey be back in an hour |
OOC: Ok! ^_^ Ferris, who was now nearing the shore by the cliff, turned to look at Vianna as she mentioned aloud how she didn't know there was a cave there. He grinned, amused by her, "Neither did I," he admitted before diving under to swim the last few feet to the shore where he waited for Vianna. As soon as she'd reached the pebbly shore he'd stolen her waist in one of his lanky arms and placed a warm kiss on her lips for just a moment. He broke apart a mere second later, just as she'd done to him, before disappearing into the cave with a grin. |
Vianna smiled as Ferris told her he didn't know about this cave either before disappearing under the water and then heading out to shore. The young girl followed his lead, her blue eyes gazing up at the cave entrance with curiosity once she was out of the water. But she was distracted as Ferris unexpectedly took her waist and placed a kiss on her lips. The young girl returned the gesture for the moment it lasted before he suddenly pulled away and disappeared into the cave. "Heeey!" said Vianna, brows furrowing for a second before she began to follow after him, a little blinded in the darkness of this new location. |
Ferris entered the dark cave hesitantly, taking a few cautious steps into the space that was nearly pitch black. He let out a small sigh at the lack of light, though it wasn't completely drowned in darkness. There was a small amount of light streaming in from a few holes in one of the walls (due to the fact that one of the walls of the cave was made of large boulders, small streams of sunlight could sneak in). Though this honestly didn't help much, and for the most part only provided lighting on his feet. It was then that Ferris heard a noise behind him, and correctly assuming that it was Vianna, he turned to accidently catch her waist in his arms (perfectly, most likely because he was so used to holding her there). |
"So I'm crazy for jumping off a cliff but you're not crazy for randomly waltzing into a dark cave like this?" asked Vianna as she reached Ferris's side. "Something could be living in here, y'know! Dragons… or giants…" she listed, all the while gazing around her dark surroundings with curiosity. Though she honestly didn't seem bothered by this idea of walking into a cave uninvited; not at all. It was Vianna, after all. |
"You're comparing jumping off a cliff to walking into a cave?" the boy repeated at her side, an amused smile coming onto his pale face though she couldn't see this as they were literally in pitch black darkness. He only was aware of their proximity due to the hand on her waist and her voice so near to him. "It's not the same thing," he said with an amused smile, though his mind was on something else at the moment. He leaned forward and kissed her very quickly, just the same as he'd done outside, and then disappeared, continuing to walk. |
"Hey, with jumping nothing was chasing after me breathing fire! This... is different," Vianna said in her defense, her blue eyes slightly squinted in the darkness, trying to make out a shape or something, anything that gave her a clue on what her surroundings looked like. But there was nothing, nothing but darkness. It was then that Ferris very unexpectedly leaned over and placed a kiss on her lips, but he pulled away and disappeared so quickly, that the girl barely had time to register what had just happened. "Wha-- Professor!" Vianna's brows furrowed. She searched her pockets, but there was no wand; she had left it on the sand back at the shore. "What're you playing at?" she asked suspiciously, lowering her gaze to her feet as she walked, though she couldn't really see them or what she was walking on. |
"I'm not playing at anything," the disembodied voice of Ferris said playfully, still rather close to the girl but slightly farther than he'd been just a moment before. Luckily for the couple, it was appearing to get a little lighter in this large cave. Definitely not daylight, but the boy was able to see his hands in front of him and the dirt floor he was walking on. "Ow!" he yelped as he ran straight into a wall. "Okay, I found the back of it," the boy announced with a weak smile to himself, rubbing his head as he sat on the floor, obviously having been toppled over when he collided with the stone wall of the cave. Unfortunately, he still couldn't really see Vianna or what exactly his surroundings looked like, just faint outlines as his dark brown eyes struggled to make out the shapes. He got back up to his feet just a moment later though, now deciding to make a concious effort to find his girlfriend once more. |
Vianna looked up sharply as she heard an 'ow!', concern beginning to fill her blue eyes before Ferris announced he'd found the back of the cave. She chuckled softly at this, amused. "You were always so graceful, Professor," she said teasingly, barely able to see the boy now that he had stood once more. She reached out to take his hand but met his wrist instead, which was close enough anyway. |
Ferris couldn't help but laugh softly as Vianna gave a chuckle to his clumsiness, mentioning how graceful he was before he suddenly felt a hand on his wrist. He jumped in surprise, not having expected the girl to take hold of him, and so immediately though it was a cave monster (because those are everywhere, obviously). He let out a sigh of relief as he realized that it was only Vianna, and gave a weak smile to the darkness in her general direction. "Well, it's just you and me in a big dark cave," he announced softly to the moist sea air that filled the dark cave. |
Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris turned startled when her hand met his wrist before he announced that it was just the two of them in a big dark cave. "Yes, it's quite the romantic date," she replied playfully with a soft chuckle. "I just wish I had my wand," she added a little more thoughtfully, more to herself than to the boy at her side. "Shall we sit down, then? I'm kind of disappointed it didn't go further... I was hoping we'd bump into an ogre or two..." |
Ferris let out a chuckle as Vianna mentioned it being a romantic date before suggesting they take a seat. He did just this, hesitantly sitting down on the dirt floor of the dark cave, pulling Vianna down with him as she mentioned her disappointment in the fact that they hadn't met an ogre. He let out a laugh at this, but unfortunately wasn't very graceful with pulling Vianna down with him in the dark, and so she landed directly on top of him on accident. He let out small laugh at this, his brown eyes amused as they searched for the expression of his girlfriend. And due to their proximity, he was just barely able to make out all of her features, a sight that he smiled warmly at. It was really strange to be in complete darkness, it felt like they could've been anywhere, anything could've happened and it was...exciting? Yes, that was it, it was really exciting to the boy, almost like he had butterflies in his stomach. Nothing was familiar anymore, not even the girl at his side as he could barely even see what she did or if she had moved, or what. The sense of sight was practically completely gone and it was kind of exhilerating. All of his other senses were heightened it was a very strange feeling. |
Vianna gave an 'ow!' as she landed on top of Ferris, not necessarily the seat she had been aiming for. She chuckled softly, though, rather amused by this, and proceeded to give the boy a kiss on the cheek before getting off and sitting down beside him instead, as had been her original plan. She allowed her back to rest against the wall and gazed around the darkness for a moment before turning to Ferris. "Y'know, I can actually kind of see you. You glow," she informed him. |
Ferris let out a hearty laugh as Vianna informed him that he 'glowed' and so she could actually see him, kind of. "Oh? Is that because I'm pale?" he asked playfully as he sat up and leaned his own back against the wall. "Are you meanly pointing out how pale I am, Vi?" he asked in the same teasing tone, amusement filling his pale features as he watched the darkness at his side. |
Vianna couldn't help but giggle as Ferris asked if the reason he glowed was because he was pale. "Maybe..." she replied quietly before he then went on to ask if she was meanly pointing out how pale he was. "Not meanly! I didn't mean for it to be... mean! Not at all," the young girl replied immediately, a little worried she might have seriously offended him. |
Ferris gave an amused smile as Vianna admitted that she maybe, might've been pointing out how pale he was before quickly adding that it wasn't meant to be mean. His eyebrows rose at the tone of voice he quickly caught onto and his brows furrowed. Was that...worry? "Vi, you know I don't mind," he quickly replied, giving her a warm smile though he forgot she could barely see it. "I know that deep down you like the pale..." he added with mock cockiness. |
Vianna smiled faintly with relief as Ferris told her he didn't mind, before going on to playfully add how he knew that deep down she liked the pale. At this, the young girl laughed lightly. "Oh right, of course, it's just another one of your great features! Doesn't beat the bare chest, though, of course," she replied just as playfully before chuckling softly. |
Ferris chuckled softly as Vianna admitted to liking the pale before adding that it didn't beat the bare chest. "Well, luckily for you, you get to see my pale chest, a combination of the two," he announced with a soft chuckle, as he was, indeed, still bare-chested. He leaned foward cautiously, still not entirely sure where all her features were, in order to kiss her cheek but instead managed to kiss her eyebrow (but very lovingly, I have to add). |
