Ferris gave an amused chuckle as Vianna mentioned that she hadn't really planned for anything, but figured they'd end up in the water one way or another as they always seemed to. "Why don't we take a walk," he suggested with a small smile, "Maybe go find that tree we climbed that one time?" he continued with a slight raise of his eyebrows, his dark eyes squinting slightly in the bright sunlight.

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 01:55 AM

Vianna listened as Ferris suggested they take a walk and find that three they climbed a long time ago, last summer. At this, the girl grinned. "Sounds good to me," she said, now beginning to lead the way away from the shore and back onto the grass, in the direction of the very large tree she always used to climb as a child and shared with Ferris last summer.

emmafan123 05-19-2010 02:03 AM

Ferris followed after Vianna until they reached the large tree, swaying nicely in the breeze and pouring shadows onto the tall green grass all around it. He smiled at the sight of it, his brown eyes gazing up at the bright leaves above them. "I like this tree," he decided, gently releasing her hand in order to walk towards it, examining it from the ground up. "It's very sturdy," he continued softly, noting how thick the trunk of it was; a nice brown colour that was awfully close to the shade of his own eyes.

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 02:05 AM

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris informed her that he liked this tree, before leaving her side to walk up to it and study it, noting that it seemed like a sturdy tree. "Yeah, it's been around for centuries," the girl commented softly, absentmindedly, as her attention wasn't really on the tree but rather on the tall curious boy examining it, her blue eyes almost sparkling with endearment at the sight of him.

emmafan123 05-19-2010 02:10 AM

"Centuries?" the boy replied with slightly raised eyebrows, turning his head back around to look at the girl a few feet away. Ferris gave a faint smile at the sight of her, "That's quite a while..." he observed with an amused gleam to his dark brown eyes as he turned back to the tree. But this was the first time he'd really looked at it, and it really was a very nice tree, something he could easily see himself sitting beneath to read a good book. He looked very concentrated, one hand coming up to scratch his smooth face gently, absentmindedly, as he took in the sight of this tree from a number of angles.

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 02:15 AM

Vianna smiled and nodded her head in response as Ferris turned to her with raised eyebrows before he commented that centuries was quite a while. The girl chuckled softly at this. "Yeah... Dad told us his great-great-great-grandfather had planted it when the Vincenzis had first moved into this house," the girl explained, which also gave a clue on how old the home was and how much family history it held, though that was already a bit obvious from its architectural style, though the inside had always been taken care of and kept up to date. Vianna was quiet then, merely watching the boy as he examined the tree with amusement sparkling in her blue eyes. "Are you going to draw it, Professor?" the girl asked curiously. "You seem intrigued by it."

emmafan123 05-19-2010 02:21 AM

Ferris's eyes widened and his gaze quickly fell back to Vianna as she spoke once more, explaining that her great-great-great-great grandfather had planted the tree there when they first moved into the house. Oh, literally centuries. "Wow..." he murmured softly to himself, giving a soft chuckle as he looked to the tree with some new eyes. He was distracted from this as she spoked once more, asking if he was going to draw it, that he looked rather intrigued by it. He smiled faintly as Vianna seemed to read his mind perfectly, and he smiled at the girl from his spot, "I'm thinking about it..." He turned his gaze back to the tree absentmindedly, his mind now on the girl's family more than the tree in front of him. Centuries...in this one house..Wow. "Vi...Your family isn't like the mob or anything right? I'm not going to be killed if I make a wrong move?" he asked, a hint of playfullness in his gaze as he asked. His mind was mainly on the idea of such a large family that he was marrying into, and that reminded him of the mob, though he was just teasing her. Italian, big family, pretty wealthy...mob...?

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 02:27 AM

ooc: Oh, Vi never told Ferris the Vincenzis were part of a mafia? :shifty: Must've forgotten to mention that...

Vianna grinned as Ferris spoke, confirming that he was thinking about drawing the large tree they were admiring before he then spoke again, asking if her family wasn't like the mob, if he was going to be killed if he made the wrong move. Vianna's eyebrows rose at this and she couldn't help but laugh aloud at the tease. "Professor!" She shook her head slightly at him, still laughing. "You wouldn't believe how many students back at Hogwarts actually believed that, and the way my brothers acted certainly didn't help..." She rolled her eyes at the memory of her brothers going around threatening anyone who got in their way. "But as far as I know my family has never been part of a mob," she assured him, chuckling softly once again.

emmafan123 05-19-2010 02:33 AM

OOC: :lmao: That could've been the best. surprise. ever. EVER.

Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna assured him that her family had never been a part of the mafia, or that she knew of, anyway. He grinned at her, "I should've guessed sooner. I mean, I thought your brothers were going to ship me to some far away country for the first three months of our relationship," he mentioned with an amused chuckle, pausing for a moment as he fell into his own thoughts. "Well, honestly, I'm still afraid Victor's going to convince Vince to help him ship me off to Peru any day now," he joked with another laugh, dimples coming into view.

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 02:40 AM

ooc: :rotfl: Nooo! My poor little Vincenzis... mafia... noooo! :lmao: Maybe their cousins but not my kiddos!

Vianna couldn't help but laugh lightly as Ferris shared with her his fears that her brothers might ship him off to some far away country during the first few months of their relationship. "Professor, that's silly," said the girl, shaking her head slightly, honestly unable to imagine her brothers doing such a thing. Little did she know it was rather likely. She listened as the boy then went on, confessing that he was still afraid her oldest brother might convince Vince to help him ship Ferris off to Peru some day, and Vianna laughed lightly once again. "My brothers aren't that scary!" said the girl, still amused by the boy's comments. "Actually... now that I think about it... they kind of helped us meet and fall in love; even if their intentions had been the opposite all along."

emmafan123 05-19-2010 02:49 AM

OOC:  Maybe the cousins....hahaha!

Ferris let out a small, playful scoff as Vianna mentioned that her brothers weren't that scary and he rolled his eyes. "To a skinny seventeen-year-old bookworm with a big crush on their precious younger sister.....they were the scariest thing of all time," he admitted with a soft chuckle, shaking his head at the memory. He gave a warm smile as Vianna mentioned that her brothers had actually kind of helped them meet and fall in love without meaning to. "I guess they kind of did," he recalled with an amused smile, pulling himself onto the closest branch with the help of his lanky arms. "I'd never felt so rebellious in my life..."

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 02:53 AM

ooc: xD Heh. We'll see.

Vianna laughed lightly as Ferris pointed out that to a seventeen-year-old bookworm with a crush on their sister, Vince and Victor were one of the scariest things of all time. She couldn't help but be rather amused by this, and watched as the boy then pulled himself onto one of the tree branches, mentioning how he'd never felt so rebellious in his life. "Well, I'm glad you felt rebellious," said the girl, smiling faintly up at the sight of him.

emmafan123 05-19-2010 02:58 AM

Ferris, the goofy-looking skinny boy resting on a tree branch, his hands clasped loosely in his lap, smiled slightly as Vianna mentioned that she was happy he'd felt rebellious. "Looking back on it, I can't believe I actually did have the stuff I did," the boy said with an amused smile and a shake of his head. "I mean, I was straight out threatened by two football-playing, broom-flying, big Italian boys and the next day I...what? Held your hand? And I gave you my jacket to wear?" he recalled with a soft, disbelieving chuckle. "I must've had a death wish."

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 03:09 AM

Vianna smiled to herself as Ferris began to recall some of the things he'd done back then, like holding her hand and lending her his jacket just after being threatened by her big scary brothers. "Neither can I, Professor," said the girl with a sigh, sitting down on the grass and leaning back on her palms as her blue eyes absentmindedly analyzed the tree, though her gaze seemed far away, obviously not really looking at the tree but rather at memory of those days. "When I think about it... it really would've been rather tragic if I had ended up with any of the boys I liked before you came along. They were cowards, they ran away the second my brothers even looked at them. I didn't realize this back then, though; I was too busy hating my brothers for it," said Vianna with a soft chuckle. "But then came Professor Fer..." She flashed him a grin. "Despite them freaking you out, you still went against their orders, just to be my friend, to sit under a tree with me..." the girl said with a bright smile. "No one had ever valued my friendship that much, Professor; or fought my brothers for it," she added, obviously rather flattered and charmed that the boy had gone through all that trouble just to be her friend, something that no other boy had ever really done for the girl before, despite claiming to 'love' her and all that other typical-teenage-schoolboy/schoolgirl nonsense.

emmafan123 05-19-2010 03:19 AM

Ferris's warm smile only seemed to grow bigger and bigger as Vianna spoke to him, mentioning that all of the other boys before him had been cowards, that no one had ever valued her friendship enough to go against her brothers the way he had done. These words made him feel like he was...more brave than he'd ever considered himself to be, and he let out a sheepish chuckle. "I didn't know what I was doing, gem," he mentioned softly, giving a soft smile. "I was just...following my guts," he added, brown eyes on the ground. "A-And my thoughts just kept drifting back to you. Over and over and over again." He let out a soft chuckle.

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 03:23 AM

Vianna listened as the boy explained to her that he hadn't really known what he was doing, that he was just following his guts and his thoughts had always drifted back to her, over and over again. At this, the girl's smile widened, obviously happy about this. "Good, so I wasn't the only one," said the girl, then chuckling softly.

emmafan123 05-19-2010 03:36 AM

Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna mentioned her relief that she hadn't been the only one whose thoughts kept drifting back to the other. He smiled, "No...you were on my mind...constantly," he admitted with a sheepish chuckle, shaking his head just slightly as he leaned back on the branch a little more, one hand holding onto a smaller branch above his head. "But, I mean, how could I hel--Wah!" Crack. He cut off as the branch he'd been holding onto literally snapped off, causing the boy (who'd been growing far too relaxed leaning back) to lose his balance and wobble for a moment before falling backwards off the branch he'd been sitting on. Suddenly on the ground after the seven or eight foot fall, the boy landed rather roughly on his arm (because, being Ferris, he coudn't simply land on his bum or his feet...). "Awh.." he grumbled softly, attempting to shake off the impact of the fall as he remained on teh ground for a moment. "I'm......good," he quickly attempted to tell her with a soft, delusioned chuckle.

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 03:43 AM

Vianna watched the boy holding on to the rather weak branch as he spoke, and her brows furrowed slightly. "Professor, be caref--" Too late. Right as she was about to finish that thought, the boy had lost his balance and fallen right to the ground, causing the girl's blue eyes to widen and her feet to react on instinct, bringing the girl up and taking her over to the boy laying on the ground, who was now assuring her that he was alright. "Wha-- you're not!" she contradicted, furrowing her brows at him. "Does it hurt? Where did you-- Professor, your arm!" Her eyes widened further at the sight of it, all scraped and clearly hurt from that rather high fall.

emmafan123 05-19-2010 03:52 AM

"Ehh...uh, sure I am," the boy murmured to the grass his face was currently in as Vianna pointed out that he was certainly not alright. He brought his face up, rolling over slightly as Vianna mentioned his arm, asking if it hurt, and obviously rather alarmed. "N-No, I'll be fine," he quickly said with a weak smile, though there was a slight grimace on his face. It was very like Ferris to not take in the extent of any injury he acquired; it was all a papercut, no matter how much he was bleeding. But the sight of his arm most definitely wasn't pretty, and it definitely hurt more than a paper cut. He winced slightly, his face in a grimace as he looked at the limp arm he held up with his other, sitting up and leaning back against the tree the best he could. "Nah, I'll be fine," he said once more, though his arm was bleeding slowly in four different places along the scrapes and it stung every time he moved it. And so, he kept it very still, very gentle with it.

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 03:57 AM

Vianna gave Ferris a look as the boy assured her that he would be fine, something that wasn't much help when she was trying to figure out where else he might be hurting and how bad the injuries might be. "You're always 'fine', Professor," the girl said with a sigh, pulling out her wand and conjuring up a bag of ice, and a second later, a small, wet towel. "Here, let me clean it up..." she said, handing him the small bag of ice to hold with his free hand as she took his injured arm and gently began to wipe away the blood and dirt stains from it with the wet towel.

emmafan123 05-19-2010 04:03 AM

OOC: WHAT IN THE WORLD IS IN YOUR AVVIE!?! :lmao:

Ferris couldn't help but give a weak smile as Vianna mentioned that he was always 'fine' before she suggested she clean it up, conjuring a wet towel and a bag of ice. He obediently held the bag of ice as she gave it to him, his brown eyes watching as she slowly began to clean off his arm. He winced loudly as she accidently touched onto a rather large opening in his skin, something he normally probably would've held in (it'd become instinct, he wasn't exactly sure why). He gave a weak chuckle just moments later, flashing the girl a small, sheepish smile as his free hand fidgeted with the bag of ice.

OOC: Off for half an hour or so!

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 04:08 AM

ooc: LMFAO. :xd: It's Andy Samberg getting a massage from a bear... LIKE A BAWS. ^_^ (The text bit refers to a song by The Lonely Island, which he is a part of).

Vianna cringed slightly and pulled away for a second as Ferris winced loudly, giving the boy a small, apologetic and sympathetic smile before returning the towel to his skin. And after a couple more moments of this, and once she was sure he was completely clean, she spoke again, "Now just place the ice on it. I'm not sure if episkey would work on an injury this size," said the girl, her expression turning a little more thoughtful as she examined the boy's arm. "I thought you'd promised me to be more careful, Professor, I don't want you to be in a wheelchair on our wedding day!" she told him, giving him a small smile before leaning over and placing a kiss on his cheek.

emmafan123 05-19-2010 05:00 AM

OOC: Ohhhhh! That's what it looked like but I'm unfamiliar with the Lonely Island, so I wouldn't have gotten it anyway! :xd:

Ferris gave a weak smile as Vianna finished cleaning up his arm before instructing him to just put the ice on it, as she wasn't sure if episkey would work on an injury of that size. He let out a soft chuckle as she mentioned that she recalled him promising her to be more careful, that she didn't want him to be in a wheelchair on their wedding day. He gave an amused roll of his eyes at this, placing the bag of ice onto his pale, lanky arm which was now covered in scratches and scrapes. He refused to move it though, as it really hurt just in the slightest whenever he tried, and so he didn't want to even see if it was worse than he'd originally thought. Instead, Ferris focused on the feel of Vianna's lips on his cheek, and he gave a warm smile, "I won't be in a wheelchair....I'm sorry."

Gryffindoll 05-19-2010 05:03 AM

ooc:

"It's alright, Professor," Vianna replied as the boy before her apologized. She turned quiet then, merely examining his features before sighing softly to herself. "What are we going to do about this, Professor? Hmm? I'm starting to consider keeping you locked in a bubble or something so you can still roam around freely but can't hurt yourself," she suggested with amused blue eyes.

emmafan123 05-19-2010 05:08 AM

Ferris examined Vianna's features, watching as she sighed to herself with slight curiosity in his gaze, his brown eyes thoughtful as she wondered aloud what they'd have to do about this. His eyebrows rose at that, vaguely confused until she continued, suggesting keeping him in a bubble so he could roam freely but couldn't hurt himself. At this, the boy gave a hearty chuckle, an amused smile crossing his features as he did so, keeping his left arm (the injured one) down at his side, resting on his lap. "I don't wanna be in a bubble!" he complained with a very boyish smile, his dimples coming into view on either side of his pale face.
