"Because if you haven't noticed, I'm rather fond of you," the boy said with a large grin, squeezing her hand gently as she wondered aloud why he was so curious about her past. "I like learning more about you, and being more involved in your life," Ferris explained with a warm smile. "And I know you enough now to see that your family is huge," he added with a hearty chuckle, amusement in his brown eyes. "Why don't you go play football with them?" he asked, his expression soft. "I'm a big boy, I won't get lost while your gone. And I'll be here when you get back."

Vianna smiled as Ferris shared that he liked to know more about her and be more involved in her life, but as he then suggested that she go play football with the others, that he wouldn't get lost, she chuckled softly. "Aw, Professor... It's alright, I'm happy just here walking with you," she replied with a smile. "Don't worry about it." She leaned on her toes and placed a kiss on his cheek.

Ferris gave a smile as Vianna told him it was alright, that she was happy just walking with him, and leaned up to kiss his cheek in the way she loved so much. "I know you are. But these people are your family, and you haven't gotten to be with them for a long while," he reminded her, a warm smile on his face. "You'll have plenty of time with me. You and I can come out here later tonight, maybe once everyone's gone. But the fact is, they're going to be gone soon enough and you'll have spent all your time with a Professor who's going to be at your side for 99% of the rest of the time." The boy flashed her a smile, leaning his forehead against her own. "Now go over there."

Vianna looked up at Ferris as he explained to her that these people were her family, that she hadn't had a chance to be with them in a long time and should take advantage of it rather than just stay here with a Professor who's going to be at her side almost all of the rest of the time. She chuckled softly at his words, and her blue eyes sparkled at him, completely charmed by the way the boy could be so understanding and caring for her needs. But no matter how much he assured her of this, she couldn't help feel completely horrible just leaving him all by himself. She hadn't suggested this campfire just to leave him all by himself, it'd be horribly mean and rude.

"Why don't you come with me?" Vianna asked. "Please? I just... I know you'll be fine, but I don't feel right leaving you all by yourself, Professor. Please?" She gave him a weak smile, her face barely lit under the moonlight.

Ferris almost seemed just as charmed with her as she was with him when Vianna asked him to go along with her, not wanting to leave him behind. He leaned down and kissed her cheek softly, "Yeah, alright, let's go," he said with a warm smile, intwining their fingers and leading her away from the shore, over to where the others were playing football and goofing around.

Vince, Victor, Alessandro, Marcello, and a couple other boys from the Vincenzi side of the family were all running around knocking each other over as they chased after the football rolling carelessly on the white sand. Giuliana was standing near the shore calling things out in Italian, cheering when someone took the ball, and booing when others did the same thing. And then somewhere further down, away from the game, Leonardo was pestering and harassing a very disturbed and flustered Luca who was trying to escape as discretely as possible.

But as he caught sight of Fervi walking over to the group, Luca called out, "Hey, sguardo! I piccioncini infine ci hanno uniti!" At this, Leonardo turned his caramel-eyed gaze to the couple and chuckled softly; a couple of the other players in the game started shouting things out that sounded like teases to which Vianna rolled her eyes. "Se continuate gridare, stiamo andare!" she called out to them, crossing her arms.

Alessandro, who'd just had the ball stolen from beneath his right foot by Vince, grinned at the other two. "Hey, you changed your mind?" he asked, turning to Ferris. "We could use the extra help; Vince keeps cheating and shoving everyone to the sand," he said with a soft chuckle - typical of the Vincenzis, to play dirty. Vianna turned to Ferris with a smile. "You wanna?" she asked him.

Ferris watched as Vianna and her cousins called out in Italian to each other over the large expanse of sand, his brown eyes curious as he watched all of this play out. It was then that Alessandro turned to him, asking if he had changed his mind as they could really use the help. He turned to look at Vianna as she asked if he wanted to. "Do you want me to?" he asked as though this part mattered more.

Vianna chuckled softly at Ferris's response. "Yes. You can join Alex's team, I'll join Vince's," she said before running off and joining the group that had gathered around Vince, trying to take the ball from him. "Pass it here!" she called out to him, and the boy did just as she asked, kicking the ball in Vianna's direction.

Alessandro watched this for a second before turning back to Ferris. "I guess that means you're in, eh? You know how to play, right?" he asked the boy. "It's not a serious game, though, so don't worry. We're just passing the ball around and stealing it from the opposite team; there's nowhere to score a goal and there's no cards. Though it doesn't mean you should pull a move that would earn you a red card in the real game," he explained with a smile before disappearing in the crowd of other Italian boys.

Ferris gave a weak smile as Vianna told him what team he was on before disappearing into the crowd and he was left speaking with Alessandro who explained how they were playing, that it was a very casual game. "Alright," he said with another weak smile, watching the group with slight intimidation in his eyes before he hesitantly joined it on Alessandro's team, doing his best to keep up with everyone. But he remained mostly on the sidelines, not really wanting to get in the middle of things. Instead, his methodical mind was observing the way the boys' feet moved, how quick they were, how they dodged, blocked, and kicked the ball to keep it in their possession.

There was another boy with dark brown hair calling out to Vianna to pass the ball over to him, and just as the girl did so, another boy from the opposite team came and knocked the first boy over, so the ball came to him instead. Vianna's brows furrowed and her jaw dropped, Vince immediately went off about the opposite team cheating, completely ignoring the fact that he was being the biggest cheater in the whole game.

Victor, who was in the same team as his siblings, took advantage of the distraction to steal the ball, and kicked it over to Luca who had it stolen away by twelve-year-old Marcello. At this, the older boy's jaw dropped; how did a little kid beat him?! Laughing, Marcello made his way through the sand keeping the ball between his feet gracefully before kicking it over to his brother Alessandro who then passed it over to Ferris.

And as this happened, all sets of eyes - a mixture of blue, brown, and green - turned to the 'English boy', waiting for his move. The pressure's on.

OOC: Nooooooooooooooooooooo! Oh no, oh no, oh no....both Ferris and I do horribly under pressure!

Ferris was watching with faint amusement in his brown eyes as the ball was stolen and retaken from both teams, enjoying it until Alessandro suddenly passed it over to him. His eyes widened as it came over and just touched his bare feet, glancing at it for a moment before turning up to look at the many pairs of eyes who were staring at him, waiting for him to move. Gulp. His gaze darted between all of them for a split second before he tried to remember what Vince and Victor had talked about before, collecting all that he had just observed. His instinct was telling him to back out, back out now and go sit by the fire like a wimp. To stay out of this and keep himself unembarrassed. But in that split-second of gathering his thoughts, Ferris suddenly just went. He just started dribbling the ball between his lanky feet, keeping it within his possession more gracefully than he had ever imagined himself to be.

But the boy had always been a fast learner, observant all his life, and ambitious to master things early on. Though not really football, he had to admit. But he swiftly made his way, dribbling with the ball towards the rest of the group.

ooc: Aw, I'm sowy. It must be done for the sake of the RP, though.

The atmosphere felt heavy in the group as everyone just stood there waiting for Ferris to do something; and as soon as the boy started moving, everyone relaxed and started moving as well, looking to steal the ball away from him. Vianna had almost momentarily forgotten the game, though, merely watching Ferris dribble the ball with a grin on her face. But as he passed by her, she snapped out of this daze and realized she was part of the opposite team. She had to get the ball from him. And so, with mischief in her eyes, Vianna ran over to him, using an arm to hold the boy back while her feet found the ball, trying her best to keep it under her control. But it was difficult, much more difficult than she had expected; Ferris wasn't supposed to be this skilled so soon! It completely caught her off-guard.

Vince and Victor eventually came over, standing only a couple feet away from the other two, ready to take the ball should either one of them kick it away from themselves; but Alessandro's team was soon coming over too, holding Vince and Victor back so that if anyone kicked the ball it would be Alessandro's team who got it.

"Pass it here!" Alessandro called out to Ferris.

OOC: It's ok! Lil Ferris is better than I expected! *tear* I'm so proud!

Ferris was watching with amused brown eyes as he swiftly juggled the ball between his bare feet, concentrated and having a fairly good time. It was then that he became aware of his girlfriend's presence as she tried to hold him off with her arm. He did his best, but he was still new to this and Vianna wasn't, so the only real advantage he has was his height, making him a little nervous. And after a few moments of juggling the ball between their feet, no one winning, Ferris was anxious to give the ball off to one of his teammates, afraid he might lose it soon to the girl at his side.

It was then that Alessandro called out to him, asking him to pass it, and he gave a brief nod before concentrating on getting Vianna out of the way to pass it over to the boy. But she was really good at this, it was difficult. Just as he was trying to slip his foot around it to shoot it over to Alessandro, he managed to trip both himself and Vianna, toppling them over to the sand. And once he was aware of himself once more, the boy kicked the ball over in Alessandro's basic direction from his laying position. Once that was done, he laid back onto the sand with a grin on his face and chuckles emerging from his lips as he looked over at Vianna.

Vince shoved one of the opposite team players off himself and to the sand (which would have gotten him kicked out of the team had this been a real game). "Just pass it here, Vi! C'mon!" he called out to his sister. Seeing that just merely blocking Ferris wasn't enough, Vianna began to push him back with her arm, her blue eyes down on the ground as they followed the ball that kept rolling from his feet to hers and back and forth. And before she knew it, the young girl found herself down on the sand, no ball beneath her feet. It took her a second to realize what had happened, and when she sat up, the ball was already rolling over in Alessandro's direction, and the rest of the crowd was now chasing after him.

Vianna's jaw dropped and she looked down at Ferris as he remained on the sand chuckling. "Think it's funny, do you?!" she accused of him, an amused smile coming to her lips as she watched him laugh. "I'm your girlfriend, you're supposed to let me cheat!" she added, as if this was part of the rules rather than against it. But she couldn't hold back a couple soft chuckles, completely amused by the way this had turned out.

Ferris grinned as Vianna explained that she was his girlfriend and therefore he was supposed to let her cheat. He let out a hearty laugh at this, sneaking a warm kiss to her tan cheek with an amused gleam to his sparkling brown eyes. "You had the upperhand there, aren't you supoosed to be better than me?" the boy asked her teasingly, not cockily as he knew that he really wasn't that good, but he just enjoyed teasing his pretty girlfriend.

Vianna gasped at Ferris's response, listening as the boy teased her. "I am! I just-- I wasn't prepared!" she said in her defense, brows furrowing slightly and cheeks turning just the slightest shade of pink, though luckily for her this was very difficult to see in the darkness. But it wasn't long until she was smiling again, completely amused by the boy laying on the sand. She glanced up at the group that was now chasing Victor around, and then leaned over a bit, placing a kiss on Ferris's lips. She let it last a moment before pulling back with a smile. "We should get up before they come and stampede over us," she said with a soft chuckle.

Ferris grinned as she defended herself, explaining that she wasn't prepared. "Uh huh, sure," he joked softly, though his bright smile was friendly and loving as he looked over at her in the darkness. It was then that she suddenly placed a kiss on his lips, something that he wasn't expecting but greatly enjoyed as he returned it gently, his brown eyes fluttering closed for the sweet moment their kiss lasted. He smiled warmly at her as she broke apart from him, suggesting they get up before they stampeded over them. "Yeah, that sounds good," he said with a soft chuckle, his brown eyes a little dazed as he watched her before getting up and helping her to her feet as well. "I think I'm going to sit out this next one. But you keep going, I just want to watch," Ferris told her. And as though he knew what she was going to say, afraid she might not want to 'abandon' him as she might put it, he quickly put his hand gently over her mouth. "And before you can complain with that pretty little mouth of yours, I'm sitting out because I want to watch, not because you're abandoning me to play with them," he reminded her with an amused smile. He released her mouth a moment later and pecked her lips gently with his own before heading over towards the sidelines.

Vianna got up to her bare feet with Ferris's help, smiling up at the tall boy before he spoke again, telling her that he was going to sit out the next round and just watch. And just as he had predicted, Vianna was all against the idea. Her forehead creased slightly and she opened her mouth to reply, only to find herself cut off by the boy's warm hand on her lips. She blinked, completely puzzled, and listened as he went on to explain she wouldn't be abandoning him, that he just wanted to watch. Vianna smiled, and chuckled with amusement once his hand left her mouth. "Fine... but if you ever want me to come over and join you, just call me," she said before his lips met her own and she returned the gentle peck kiss, before he pulled away and headed over to the sidelines. She sighed to herself and gave the boy one last smile before running over to the group chasing the ball, joining in on the game and making a pretty good team [of cheaters] with her brothers.

Ferris grinned as Vianna told him that he could call her over whenever, and gave a brief nod before parting ways with her and sitting down in the sand on the sidelines. Once more, his brown eyes fell into an observant state, following the many pairs of feet as they ran after one another, trying to steal the ball from the other person. Occasionally he would chuckle softly to himself as Vianna's team started cheating every once in a while, amused.

Vince, Victor, and Vianna were sure to knock anyone who got in their way down to the sand, which of course helped them get their feet on the ball more often than the opposite team. The game went on uninterrupted for a while, and even when the ball had been accidentally kicked into the water, it wasn't enough to stop the competitive group from going after it. The second the ball met the ocean's surface, half the group was in the water, shoving and pushing one another. Eventually the ball returned to the sand and the game continued uninterrupted for another forty minutes. It was now that most of the boys began to grow tired and hungry after all that running in the sand, and some of them began to pick up their brooms and leave the scene, while others accompanied the Vincenzi brothers back up to the house where Costa would prepare them a quick meal.

Vianna and Giuliana stayed behind, giggling like two little girls as they tackled each other down in the ocean's cool water. By the time they decided to walk out, they were completely soaked from head to toe, and their feet and half of their tanned legs covered in sand. They ran out of the water together, Vianna's hand wrapped around her cousin's as she dragged the giggly girl out with her. She then came to a halt near the boy who had been sitting during the football match, a bit breathless from all running, jumping, and tackling she had done in the past hour.

"I'll wait for you in the house, Vi," said Giuliana, giving her cousin a smile and waving at Ferris before letting go of Vianna's hand and beginning to run back to the house. Vianna watched her go with a smile and turned to Ferris, drops of water still dripping from her once-neat dress and her long brown hair. "I missed you," she greeted the boy, her smile widening just slightly. "C'mon, let's head back into the house," she added, now holding out a wet hand for him to take.

Ferris watched the scene play out with amused and interested eyes, his gaze darting to every part of the game with curiosity as he observed them. Eventually the game broke up and he was left staring at the two girls playing in the water, mainly Vianna, and a small smile fell onto his face. She was so cute. He admired Vianna for longer than he realized and before he knew it she was walking towards him with Giuliana at her side. He snapped out of his trance, giving a polite smile to the two girls as they approached him, Giuliana immediately leaving. He turned his admiring brown eyes to Vianna, his smile warming up slightly at the sight of her as she told him she'd missed him. Ferris let out a soft chuckle at this, getting to his feet with her help so he could stand in front of his soaking wet girlfriend. "I missed you too," he admitted with another small laugh, keeping her hand in his slightly bigger one. "Y'know you're pretty cute out there," the boy confessed as they started to walk.

Vianna smiled sheepishly as Ferris spoke, telling her she was cute out there. "Thanks," she replied, her eyes on her bare feet as they walked on the sand, her sandals in her free hand. "I would've had more fun with you there, though," she added, looking away from the sand and up to the boy at her side instead. "If we do something like this again, will you join us? I'll give you football lessons so by the time that comes around, you're a pro!" she said with a soft chuckle. "Though you're already pretty good... I'm surprised, Professor."

Ferris listened as Vianna explained that she would've had more fun if he was out there with them and he gave a small smile, watching their feet as they headed up towards the house. It was then that she asked if he would join in if they did something like this again, that she would give him football lessons so he could be a pro next time. "Of course I will," the boy promised with a warm smile, turning his brown eyes to her as she then told him she was surprised by his football playing today. "I didn't know what I was doing," he admitted with a soft chuckle.

Vianna laughed lightly as Ferris admitted he didn't know what he had been doing earlier that night during the game. "Well, it didn't look that way," she said, raising her eyebrows just slightly at him as the sand beneath their feet slowly began to turn into grass and the house on the small hill began to come to sight. "Maybe my Professor is an undercover professional football player and he never told me anything!"

Ferris couldn't help but grin as Vianna told him it didn't look as though he didn't know what he was doing before adding her suspicions that her boyfriend was an undercover professional football player. He let out a laugh, his dimples coming into view as he turned to look at the girl, "Trust me, I'm not," he assured her with a grin. "I played a couple times when I was younger, with a few kids in town, but nothing really past that."
