This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Not to mention the fact that a lot of the time boys would do things for her just because she was pretty. But she stopped talking as her eyes too fell upon Vianna and Ferris. "But Vince..." She said, about to say something to distract him from the couple by the fire, when she caught sight of a hot pink.

Vince merely ignored Kayla as she went on about him not being the only good-looking guy in the world. Rubbish, was all he had to think about that. He frowned slightly as he watched Ferris and Vianna sitting by the fire. "Is that... Is that the rat on his head?"

Vianna inhaled quickly and sharply in surprise as she heard the door open and in walked Kayla in the company of her older brother. "Oh! Uh... you guys... hey..." she said, beginning to feel ridiculously awkward now as her brother examined them - or rather, the squirrel on Ferris's head with incredulous eyes.

Ferris was enjoying the feeling of the girl's fingers in his hair, closing his eyes softly. He focused on the nice feel of her fingers weaving their way through his curls, enjoying the warmth coming from the fireplace and his breathing evened out. He was just about to fall into a nice sleep when he heard voices outside the room, and then the door opened. He looked over to see Kayla, and then Vince follow in. Being so close to the brink of sleep only moments before, getting up just for the sake of Vince sounded like a dumb thing to do. And so, Ferris stayed with his head on Vianna's lap, getting a little closer to the girl and letting his eyes close once more; the more practical side of his mind seeming to have shut off.

"I think it's called a squirrel, Vince, but other than that, yes." Kayla said, more distracted by something else. "Is that - nail polish?" She asked, look at Ferris, his hands, in particular. Seeing that she was in fact right, she gave a laugh. Though she pitied him if Vianna had done that to him.

Vianna turned from her brother to Ferris with wide eyes as the boy laying his head on her lap seemed to merely fall asleep at the arrival of the other two. She cringed slightly and turned to Vince and Kayla once again, giving them an awkward chuckle. "Where were you guys? I was surprised when we got here and you weren't around, Kay," she said casually.

Vince was just about to say something completely unrelated to Vianna's question, as he wasn't really interested in having a conversation with her but rather demand what in the world those two were doing in the room alone... and with a squirrel on Ferris's head. But before he could say anything, Kayla spoke, mentioning something about nail polish. Vince turned to her with furrowed brows, confusion on his features before he returned his eyes to the couple. "Whoa!" His eyes widened at the sight of Ferris's bright pink fingernails. "Holy-- I knew it! I knew it all along! That kid-- that kid's... y'know... weird. On 'the other side'," he whispered, as if not wanting to disturb Ferris.

Ferris, now half awake due to the noise, had his eyes closed but could hear the vague rumblings of the others in the room. He listened as Vianna tried making conversation, and then let out a small groan as Kayla mentioned his nail polish. Then, at Vince's next comment, that he was 'weird', or 'on the other side', Ferris opened his eyes slightly, lifting his head up just barely from Vianna's lap to point in the general direction of Vince, "I'm not gay," he grumbled.

"Oh, Vince was moaning so I got him some food." Kayla said with a shrug to Vianna, with another chuckle at the hot pink nail polish. She knew Vianna was feeling awkward at this point, and glanced at Vince. She laughed at his suggestion. "It's much more likely that Vianna inflicted it on him, Vince." She said, beginning to walk to her bedroom door.

Vince turned to Ferris as the boy suddenly addressed him, denying the assumptions Vince was making. "Ha, see? That's the first sign - denial," said Vince, quite confident that his assumptions were correct. It seemed like the only logical explanation as to why the boy would have bright pink nail polish on his fingers. The boy then sighed, turning his eyes to his sister with an apologetic look on his face, as if feeling sorry for the girl that her boyfriend had turned out to be gay.

Vianna's jaw dropped at what she was hearing. "What?! No! Vince, don't be stupid!" she said, furrowing her brows at her brother. She didn't want to bother explaining the real reason for Ferris's pink fingernails to him, knowing he wouldn't listen or just take her words the wrong way, but she felt she owed at least Kayla an explanation. "I dared him to let me paint his nails in exchange for marshmallows," she explained dully.

Ferris nodded slightly as Vianna told Vince that he was being stupid, and that she had dared him to let her paint his nails in exchange for marshmallows. "Yep, that's what happened," he murmured sleepily before resting his head back on Vianna, letting out a small yawn before letting his eyes flutter close once more. He wanted sleep but now there were all these people talking and calling him gay and mocking his nail polish.

"Vianna, don't worry, I know Vince well enough to never believe a word he says." Kayla smiled at Vi. "Trust you, though, to make a guy have his nails painted." She chuckled lightly. The girl looked at Vince now. "Are you just going to stand there all day insisting things that aren't true, or not?" She asked him, mostly for Vianna and Ferris' sake.

Vianna smiled warmly at Kayla before looking down at the boy that slowly began falling asleep on her lap, letting her hand return to his hair and running her fingers gently through it once more. Vince merely rolled his eyes at the other two, not buying their excuse. "Whatever. Gay or not, I'm not letting you two stay here the whole night. So Ferris Wheel, if you're sleepy, I suggest you head back to your own bed in your own room," said Vince, making his way over to the kitchen and serving himself a glass of water.

The boy then turned his attention to Kayla as she asked if he was just going to stand there insisting on things that weren't true. "Pretty much, yes. I'm not leaving 'til those two go to sleep," he said, ever the nuisance. Though it's not like he enjoyed this job, he'd much rather head to his own bed and sleep the rest of the night away. However, even if Ferris was gay, Vince couldn't come to trust him entirely with his sister.

Ferris smiled slightly as Vianna started running her fingers through his hair again, still a little awake but drifting away towards sleep. That was until he heard Vince's next words, that he wasn't letting the two of them sleep there the whole night, that if Ferris was sleepy he head to his own bed. Annoyed that Vince was going to make him move, or watch them forever, Ferris grumbled once more, "I've been in this room alone with her for about two hours now. Don't you think that if I wanted to do something, I would've already done it?" The filter for things not to say to Vince had obviously turned off with drowsiness.

"You say that like it's something to be worried about." Kayla said rolling her eyes. Maybe she didn't get why Vince acted like this because she didn't have a sister, but Vince seemed ridiculous. She fell down onto a couch, playing with her hair absentmindedly.

Vince gave Ferris a look as the boy spoke, apparently still half-asleep and with a wiser mouth than usual. "That's great, but I'm not going to give you the extra couple of hours," he said dully, sipping the last of his water before placing the glass down on the counter and turning to Kayla as she spoke. The boy's eyebrows rose slightly - everyone wanted him out of the room! Merlin, he'd never felt to unwanted in his life, even when Victor told him he was adopted when they were little. "Why don't you all just gather round and shove me out of here yourselves, eh?"

Ferris groaned as Vince said that he wasn't going to give them another two hours, and as desperately as he wanted to fall asleep next to Vianna, he also didn't want everyone in the room to watch him sleep and make her feel awkward. "Alright, alright, I'm leaving," he grumbled, sitting up. As he did so, the squirrel on his head scambled down to his shoulder, down his chest and onto Vianna's lap so Ferris could stand. He did just that and stretched his lanky arms to the ceiling as he let out a yawn. He turned around and leaned down to say goodnight to Vianna, "Goodnight Vi," he mumbled with a small smile, planting a soft kiss on her cheek.

"I don't mind you being here, but you are being silly, and you're rather boring when you're paranoid about Vianna and Ferris for now reason." Kayla said, smiling slightly. "Relax." She said, and looked at Vianna apologetically.

Vince merely ignored Kayla and watched Ferris go without much care that everyone in the room wanted to hex his head off. "Goodnight, Professor," said Vianna, giving Ferris a smile as the boy got up and bid her goodnight. Had it been any other time of day, she would probably be the first to be after her brother's head, but she couldn't deny that she was terribly tired and the idea of going to bed sounded incredibly tempting. The young girl then got up and placed her squirrel on the armchair. "You can sleep there tonight, Fluffy," she said to her beloved pet before heading away to her room. "Goodnight, guys."

"'Night," muttered Vince. "See you tomorrow, Kay," he added to the other girl before heading out of the room himself.

"Yep, tomorrow. Bye." Kayla nodded, getting up off the couch. she was even starting to feel sleepy, and when she got to her bed in her room, almost instantly she was fast asleep.

Ferris got to his room, plopped in the bed, and fell asleep out of pure exhaustion. But a couple hours later he awoke in a cold sweat, nightmares of kidnappers and Ned's parents floating through his head. He couldn't shake the feeling of hopelessness that overwhelmed him, trying to roll over and fall asleep once more. But it was no use. No matter how many ways he turned or what he thought of, nothing could get him to sleep once more. He was still scared, in this unfamiliar bed, in the unfamiliar town, nothing was right. He climbed out of his bed, moving slowly in the dark. He quietly made his way out of the boys' hotel room, and out into the hallway. Now he was faced with the decision of what to do. Out in the bright flourescents of the hallway, he squinted, running a hand through his messy curls as he looked to the floor.

Looking at the girls' door, it was very tempting, and without another moment he had used 'Alohomora' to open the door. He closed it softly behind him before heading to the first bedroom door. Upon seeing a blonde head sticking up from beneath the sheets, he quickly closed the door as silently as he could. Next, he moved on to the door next to it, assuming it was Vianna's. Luckily, it appeared that there was long brown hair underneath these sheets and he walked inside, gently shutting the door behind him. He didn't know what his plan was, why he was in here. He just needed comfort, anything, and Vianna was the only person he wanted to see. His clammy hands shook just barely as he walked into the room.

Vince completely passed out the second his head met the warmth and comfort of the pillow waiting for him in his bed. He didn't bother changing or taking his shoes off or at least pulling the covers over himself, he was too tired to care about any of that. Victor returned some time later that night, very carefully and quietly sneaking his way into the boys' hotel room and then into his own room. He wondered vaguely if the others were alright and nothing bad had happened during his absence, though he was sure that if someone had been taken away he'd receive a patronus about it. And so, the boy locked himself in his room where he proceeded to change and eventually fall asleep in his bed.

Vianna had already been in her pajamas when she got to her room, so all she had to worry about was cuddling up underneath the blankets and enjoying the long dreamless sleep that was to come. Fluffy somehow snuck his way into her room at some time during the middle of the night and now lay curled up beside the girl's head on the pillow. But like a guarding dog, the little squirrel's head shot up at the sound of the door opening and a dark figure walking inside. He watched the newcomer curiously and then turned to Vianna, beginning to pat her face with his tiny paws, as if alerting her someone was inside.

Ferris jumped as he spotted something pop up next to Vianna's head, and let out a sigh of relief at the sight of Fluffy. Heart beating like a drum, he watched as Fluffy began to pat Vianna's face as though alerting her. "Shh! No, Fluffy, it's me," Ferris whispered into the dark as though the creature could understand. "Don't wake her, she needs sleep." He bit his lip slightly, watching to make sure that the girl remained asleep. He walked over closer to the bed slowly, shoving his hands in his pockets and watching Vianna. He was distracted for a brief moment, noting how calm she looked when she slept.

Fluffy turned his head in Ferris's direction as the boy spoke, but of course, he was just a squirrel. He had no idea what was being said to him. And when he saw that his tiny paws were doing nothing to get the girl's attention, he tried the method he had used in the morning - tickling the girl's nose with his fluffy tail. Vianna was sleeping peacefully, completely lost in a world of absolute bliss until she felt the fur tickling her nose. Her brows furrowed slightly in her sleep and then suddenly sneezed. The young girl groaned, sitting up slightly with eyes still closed. She passed a hand over her face in search of what had been tickling her and at finding nothing, returned her head to the pillow. Fluffy watched with horror as Vianna ignored his warning and now crawled on top of the girl, coming to a halt on her shoulder and glaring up at Ferris.

Ferris stopped moving as Fluffy ignored him, of course not understanding, and proceeded to tickle his owner's nose. He watched as Vianna sat up with a sneeze before laying back down, letting out a sigh of relief. His heart was still pounding from all of these close calls, and his brown eyes shot to the squirrel on her shoulder for a moment before he slowly made his way to the bed. He didn't know what he wanted; he wanted Vianna to get her sleep but he needed her company. He knew he would get killed if he was found in here, but he couldn't bring himself to leave her now; besides, if he left he would never find sleep anyway. His hands were shaking and his mind kept going back to his nightmares as he watched the girl, gently taking a seat on the side of the bed. She looked so calm, just sleeping there without a care in the world, but the sneeze which Fluffy induced had caused a stray few strands of hair to fall into the girl's face. He leaned over slowly and softly tucked them behind her ear.

Fluffy hopped off Vianna's shoulder as the intruder now came to sit at the side of the bed, watching his owner before proceeding to tuck some of her stray strands of hair behind her ear. Seeing his owner was being too lazy and stubborn to wake up, Fluffy returned to his spot beside her head on the pillow and curled up once more, though he remained wide awake as he watched Ferris curiously, still not coming to realize who he was. Vianna's peacefulness was disturbed as she felt Ferris's fingertips meet her face when he tucked her hair back. Assuming this strange sensation must have been the one responsible for her sneezing earlier, the young girl passed her hand over her face once again, pushing whatever it was that kept tickling her away. But instead, she found not something soft and fluffy, but rather a number of long cold fingers. Vianna's eyes fluttered open and widened as it dawned on her that it was a hand she had just felt. Completely horrified, she scrambled through the sheets to sit up on the bed and turn to the dark shadow sitting at the side of her bed.

Ferris jumped as she did, watching her scramble to sit up and look at him with complete terror in his eyes. "No, Vi, it's me," he said in a whisper, "It's Ferris. I-I'm sorry, I didn't want to wake you up," he added, looking guiltily at the girl across from him. He returned his cold, trembling hands into a folded position on his lap, not wanting to scare her any more.
