One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris followed Vianna into the hotel, his mind obviously elsewhere as they started up the staircase to the upper two floors. He took the turn into the second floor, starting down the hall at her side towards her hotel door, as he didn't have the key to his own. He snapped into reality as they stopped, turning to look at the girl at his side, "Please tell me you have a key," he said softly, a slight smile on his lips, though his eyes seemed to be a little tired.

Vianna turned to Ferris as he asked if she had a key and she chuckled softly. "Erm, actually..." The girl checked her pockets, but then remembered they hadn't really locked the door before leaving. Eyes slightly widened, she pulled out a hand and turned the knob. The door opened with a loud creaking noise. "I might've forgotten to lock the door," she said sheepishly as she walked inside and let Fluffy rest on one of the beds before proceeding to sit on the edge of hers, quickly pulling out the book they had bought.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris watched her with slightly raised eyebrows as she hesitated, sure that the next words from her mouth would be some reason for why she didn't have her key. But as she mentioned that she might've forgotten to lock the door, he gave her an amused disapproving look before following her into the room. He closed the door behind them, setting down the dark magic book by Vianna on the bed. He remained standing, leaning up against the back of the couch as he faced Vianna, "What do you think she meant by...something happening?" he asked, as this was what resided in his mind at the moment.

Vianna had opened the book on spells and potions and was running a finger down its table of contents as Ferris spoke, asking her what the shopkeeper might have meant by 'something happening' with the book on dark magic. "I'm not sure," replied the girl, looking up from the book resting on her lap. "I'm sure she didn't really mean something will happen, though. I mean... it's just a book," she continued, glancing at the book on dark magic that rested beside her, as if expecting it to jump and prove her wrong.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Same here, don't worry about it! Ferris watched as his girlfriend spoke, telling him that she was sure the shopkeeper didn't mean that something would actually happen, as it was just a book. He raised his dark eyebrows at her, obvious apprehension in his expression. "I don't know Vi, take it from me, books can be a much more powerful force than you'd expect. Depending on what kind of book it is...it could potentially be a danger," he said, his brown eyes roaming to the book sitting on her bed. "I'm sure it'll be useful, I don't mean to contradict what I already said, but...I'm a little worried about it."

Vianna returned her crystal blue eyes to Ferris as he spoke and she nodded her head at his words, knowing the boy was right. "How about... we just look through it really quick, get what we want, and... I don't know, throw it away or something?" she asked, not quite sure what they should do with the evil book once they were done with it. What if it chased them?! Vianna's brows furrowed and she shook her head slightly to herself, feeling silly for even considering such a thing. "C'mon," she said, gesturing for Ferris to join her so they could get started on their assignment.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave her a small smile as she suggested they look through it very quickly before throwing it away, or something. He let out a soft chuckle, rather amused by this plan, before nodding and following her instruction as he took a seat at her side. "Do you want to start with the dark book?" he asked, turning to look at her as he gently pulled the book onto his lap, unsure of where Vianna wanted to start their research.

Vianna smiled as Ferris joined her side and nodded her head as he asked if they should start searching through the dark book first. "Yeah, let's get that out of the way first," she said, as if the quicker they let go of the book meant the safer they would be. Her gaze left his to glance down at the book now resting on his lap with curious eyes, quite eager to see what kind of dark magic they would learn about.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris opened the book hesitantly, his hand folding over the first page as he read down the table of contents: Capturing, Tricking, Poisoning, Haunting, Spying, Punishing, all were just a few of the titles that were on that page. He read through them with slightly apprehensive eyes, suddenly feeling as though the book was much more sinister than when he had held it in the bookstore. He figured it must have been the woman's warning, and it sent a chill down him as he looked at the table of contents. "Where should we start?" he asked her.

Vianna cringed slightly to herself as she silently read over the contents - poisoning? Haunting? Punishing? It was all so... dark and sinister, it made her feel rather bad to even be looking at it. "Um... I--I'm not sure," she muttered as Ferris asked where they should start. "How about capturing? That's definitely something the kidnappers have done," suggested the girl.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris could hear the hesitance in Vianna's voice as she spoke, unsure of where they should start in the dark book on his lap. He gave a nod as she finally decided that capturing would be a place to start, as the kidnappers had definitely done that. He used his finger to trace from the title: Capturing, to its page number, and then proceeded to flip to page 15. "Alright...Capturing. 'Capturing is the simple art of cat vs. mouse, predator vs. prey, and its done easily if one can think in the eyes of his or her enemy. Always one step ahead, you will be able to use any of the following arts successfully if you are in the mind of your prey.'" He turned to look at the girl beside him with obvious an obvious 'creeped' aspect to his eyes after reading through the first few lines of the chapter.
OOC: Give me twenty minutes...super busy at the moment!

ooc: Okay!
Vianna made a face as Ferris read aloud the first line on the chapter regarding capturing. It sounded horrifyingly cold-blooded and menacing. As Ferris turned to her with an obviously creeped out look on his face, Vianna returned the expression with a faint smile on her lips. They couldn't let themselves be too disturbed by what they read or they'd never get anywhere. But just as Vianna was about to speak, the door opened and in walked the Vincenzi brothers. They had rather expectant looks on their faces, as if Fervi should have seen them coming.
"Have you guys found anything?" asked Vince eyeing the books resting on the couple's laps.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris was watching Vianna when the door suddenly opened, and her older brothers walked in. He looked over at them, his expression rather blank as they asked if they had found anything. "Not yet. We got a couple books, so hopefully they'll help," the boy explained, suddenly feeling very strange holding a book of dark magic, as though these newcomers would spot it and throw it from the window, accusing him of being a criminal of some sort. It just felt...gross, almost dirty or contaminated to hold something like this, and even more so to be caught holding a book like this.

Vince gave an amused smile and almost looked as if he was trying not to laugh as he asked, "There's a bookstore in this place?" His dark eyebrows rose slightly and he plopped down on to the free bed. "That's weird, I'm surprised there's even other people in this town," he continued, causing Vianna's brows to furrow. Why did it sound like her brother actually knew something about the town's history? But before she had a chance to interrogate him, the boy went on, "Anyway, I've got a suggestion. Victor won't hear me out" - Victor rolled his eyes as he stood by the door - "but maybe you two are smarter." He paused for a moment and then spoke again, "What if we just shrunk? Y'know, sort of how Jamie, Vic, and I had to shrink our sizes when we went to rescue you and Ned from that weird room at camp?" he asked, now turning to Ferris. "It's not necessarily a disguise, but it'll make it easier for us to hide."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris didn't seem to catch what Vianna did in Vince's statement, merely assuming that the boy had noticed how desolate the place seemed to be, and was more interest in his suggestion to replace disguises. "You want to shrink?" the boy repeated, his brown eyes going over Vince's features with slightly furrowed eyebrows. "Well...That leaves open the option of being stepped on, it would also take us nearly ten times the amount of steps to get to one place or another. For example, if they were to move into another room, it would take us twice the time to follow. Not to mention the amount of time we would spend trying to hide from anyone nearby..." Ferris started weighing the pros and cons aloud, not as though he was talking to them, but rather to himself. "However, it would give us the nice option of not running into anyone. See, if we were normal size, but in disguises, it would pose the problem of explaining ourselves, of being able to get in there and talk with people. That requires alibis, acting, controlling of nerves...Hmm...That's a plausible option, Vince."

Vince listened to Ferris's internal debates with wide eyes, and as the boy finally finished speaking, he blinked and replied, "Geez, Ferris Wheel, that's all you had to say," he said, referring to the boy's very last words. "No need to make it complicated and confuse us," he continued, as if anyone else in the room besides himself had grown confused by all the different points Ferris had brought up. "Anyway, about the moving from one place to the next, we could just apparate," he suggested with a shrug.
"I hate to say it, but Montgomery might actually have a point - the good sides to it are great and all, but what if we get stepped on?" asked Victor suddenly. "It sounds stupid, but it is very likely that something like that may happen when we're so small."
"Well, we don't have to be right in their way," said Vianna, turning from Vince to Victor. "We can be hiding behind... things. And stuff," she muttered with slightly furrowed brows, not really able to come up with any examples of furniture, but her brothers understood what she meant.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a slightly sheepish smile as Vince told him the last statement would've sufficed before adding that they could apparate from one location to the next. "Yeah, but Vi can't apparate yet," he reminded the boy, unaware of how truly aware he was of the girl beside him. He was distracted by Victor agreeing reluctantly that he had a point, that they could get stepped on when they were so small. "It already happened to Vince," he pointed out a little more softly, an amused smile coming onto his face. Next, he turned to look at Vianna who suggested that they could easily hide behind things, "Yeah...But we still have to get from one piece of furniture to the next, exposing us to anyone who might be looking down at the time. Not to mention, anyone who could be walking around at the time. Lots of feet to avoid."

Victor's lips gave a twitch for a very brief second as he tried not to laugh when Ferris pointed out that Vince had already been stepped on once before, as if this made getting stepped on an obstacle that they could survive. It was a rather amusing memory. But not for Vince, who gave his brother a sharp look, obviously not nearly half as amused with the memory of getting stomped on by a giant elf with stinky feet as his brother seemed to be. "That's true," Vianna muttered thoughtfully as Ferris mentioned that it would still be difficult to move from one place to the next when they were so tiny. "What if we had our brooms, though? Won't that make moving easier?"
"But it won't turn us invisible," Victor pointed out. "Even if we move fast, we can still be seen," the boy continued. Vianna sighed, trying to think of a way to get over this obstacle of being seen but unable to come up with anything.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris listened as Vianna suggested that they ride brooms to get around, only to hear Victor shoot it down, mentioning that they could still be spotted by someone. "I agree," he said to Victor, racking his brains for some other answer. "We've got a spell book....Maybe there's some type of way in there. That's why we got it in the first place." He gently slid the dark magic book off their laps and instead grabbed the more-friendly looking spellbook, setting it down before himself and Vianna.

Vianna nodded in agreement as Ferris suggested they check their spell book for anything that might help them solve the problem of being seen. Vince and Victor's brows furrowed at the sight of the dark book that was set aside. "What is that?" asked Vince, his gaze turning rather wary as he caught sight of the book. Was that... a book on... dark magic?
And it was then that Victor spoke his brother's thoughts aloud, "Is that a book on dark magic you two have there?" he asked, giving the pair at the bed a rather incredulous look, his eyes a little wide at this.
ooc: I'm off for an hour or two. See youuu, Ruthersss!

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris had his hand on the cover of the spellbook, ready to open it, when Vince asked what something was. "What?" he asked, looking up with a slightly confused expression, as he had nearly forgotten he had just set aside a book on dark magic. His brown eyes then switched to Victor as he asked directly if they were reading a book on dark magic, and his eyes widened, remembering. "Uh..Yeah, w-we decided it'd be a good idea to get into the minds of the...the kidnappers. You know, see if we can figure anything out from the inside of their operation."

Vince and Victor exchanged looks as Ferris explained the reason why they had a book on dark magic with them. "Where'd you find that, anyway?" Vince asked curiously, as it was no secret that finding books on dark magic wasn't necessarily an easy task and it often required visiting more sinister places than a mere bookshop in a small ghost town. Vianna answered the boy's question, explaining to him how they had found the book in the bookshop even though the store seemed not to have it for sale. "Huh... weird," muttered Vince as he sat up on the bed and then got up to his feet. "Well let us know if you find anything," he said before heading out of the room. Victor followed out after him, closing the door to the room but not without giving the pair by the bed one last warning look, as he still wasn't too comfortable with the idea of them even being alone in the same room.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris watched as Vince and his sister exchanged words, explaining how they had found a book on dark magic in this town, his brown eyes darting between the two silently. He wasn't very good at explaining things, and was glad that Vianna had taken the last question, as he would've stuttered his way through it. They hadn't done anything wrong, but he couldn't help but feel as though even having possession of such a book was nearing a crime. He watched as the Vincenzi brothers left, before turning his eyes back to Vianna with the smallest of smiles and a slight sigh.

Vianna returned Ferris's smile after her brothers had left the room and returned her gaze to the book on their laps. "Alright, enough getting sidetracked," she said after a brief moment's silence, "Let's find what we're looking for or we'll never get this done," she added with a soft chuckle as her eyes went down the table of contents.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a small nod as she instructed him that they needed to get to work, that they couldn't be sidetracked at the moment. He agreed, but it was a bit of a daunting task. However, Ferris was never one to turn down a challenge that had to do with books and spells so he quickly opened the spellbook they had bought that day, flipping to the table of contents. None of the titles there seemed very specific to anything that they'd want right off the bat, and so he simply turned to the first chapter, and began to read the first few lines aloud to Vianna. They consisted of a basic introduction to the book, and then went on to explain how to do a spell that would make one levitate above the ground, and hover wherever they went.
