"Yes, you!" Ferris said with another laugh as she asked if it was her he was referring to, as though there were twenty other girls in the room. He thought for a moment as she asked what made her the perfect Italian girl. "Well, you're nicely tanned," the boy informed her as though this was something she didn't already know. He placed his arm next to hers, showing the (not very flattering to the boy) contrast of his pale skin to her nicely tanned, smaller forearm. He turned back to her, "And you're so fiery," he added with a light laugh. "Stubborn, and competitive," he listed out, which weren't exactly things that related just to Italians, but from what he'd seen of her brothers, all three seemed to possess most of these traits.

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 01:30 AM

Vianna's blue eyes left Ferris's to look down at her arm as he placed his next to hers to compare their skin tones. She chuckled softly at the difference she hadn't really paid much attention to before. Her gaze returned to him, though, as he went on, telling her she was fiery, stubborn, and competitive. "Not all Italian girls are like that!" she said. Perhaps the fiery bit was right, but... Maybe they were a bit competitive, too, that's true, but... Vianna furrowed her brows slightly at Ferris, not about to tell him he was right.

emmafan123 12-07-2009 01:33 AM

Ferris smiled warmly at the girl as she informed him (stubbornly) that not all Italian girls were like that, and though he doubted her statement only because she just didn't like being wrong, he still couldn't contradict her as he didn't really know for sure. "Well, then, maybe it's just a Vianna thing," he corrected himself with another warm smile. "Let me rephrase my previous statement: You are the perfect Vianna." He let out another laugh at his own words, "My fiery, stubborn, competitive little Italian Vianna."

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 01:37 AM

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris corrected himself, then sighed. She watched him for a brief moment before looking away and up at the ceiling once again, her smile fading and her expression turning rather thoughtful. Her mind was no longer in their playful conversation or what made her Italian anymore, but elsewhere, making her brows furrow and her eyes look beyond what was really before her.

emmafan123 12-07-2009 01:41 AM

Ferris watched as she turned her eyes back to the ceiling, observing her as her brows furrowed and he was able to tell that something was on her mind. He frowned slightly, the curiosity getting the better of him. But instead of asking right away, he simply tightened his grip on her a bit, holding her close to him and leaning his chin on her shoulder. "What's on your mind?" he finally asked after a couple minutes, unsure if she wanted to tell him or not. He didn't want to pry or be annoying but he also wanted to help her and get her smile to return.

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 01:47 AM

Vianna snapped out of her thoughts abruptly as Ferris spoke, asking her what was on her mind. She gave him a faint smile, examining his face which was so close to hers now for a moment before looking up at the ceiling again. "I dunno..." she muttered, brows beginning to furrow once again. "When you said that... when you said I was fiery, stubborn, and competitive... is that good or bad?" she asked, turning to the boy beside her again. She wasn't sure what had happened or what had changed in the last couple hours, but she was suddenly a bit more paranoid, seeing negatives before positives first. Was she no longer happy-go-lucky cheery, positive Vianna? She was now known for having a strong temper and a stubborn attitude? Her forehead creased slightly, she had never really examined herself before or studied her own personality, or even worried about it. But this day was different and she felt rather out of character, like a stranger to herself.

emmafan123 12-07-2009 01:51 AM

Ferris, glad that she hadn't just shrugged him off, listened as Vianna asked him if what he said about being fiery and stubborn and competitive was good or bad. His eyebrows rose slightly, not having expected this to be what made her go thoughtful, but he quickly responded. "It's great, Vi," he told her with a faint smile. "Your fire, and your spirit...It's definitely not a bad thing...It's what attracted me to you in the first place." He paused for a moment, smiling slightly as he remembered, "That first day...I remember in our very first conversation you were already making wagers on when to get me on a broom, already showing that competitive, stuboorn side of yours. And I just...I didn't know what to think about it at first. I...hadn't met anyone like you before, and then I really started to like it. Started to like you..." He pressed a very soft kiss to her cheek.

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 01:56 AM

Vianna listened quietly as Ferris answered, her eyebrows raising slightly as he explained to her that it was actually a great thing she was like that. She hadn't expected that response, but was relieved by it. She couldn't help but smile in amusement as he took them both back in time to that first day at camp, when she was already trying to force the boy on a broom and making bets off it. "I'm glad," she told him as he finished, her smile brightening a little more as she looked at him for a brief moment before looking away again.

emmafan123 12-07-2009 02:01 AM

Ferris's small smile widened as she told him she was glad he thought that and he gave a brief nod, watching her for a moment before continuing. "You're not just fiery though, Vi, I hope you know that," he added softly, suddenly realizing that she might've thought those were the only things he saw in her. "There are thousands of other words I could use to describe you," he promised before pressing a warm kiss to her forehead.

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 02:04 AM

Vianna listened quietly as Ferris spoke again, and she let out a soft but very brief chuckle at his comment. "Good," she said, honestly not wanting to be seen as just fiery and stubborn. They weren't traits that necessarily made her proud, but if Ferris honestly liked them about her, she wasn't going to complain.

emmafan123 12-07-2009 02:08 AM

Ferris seemed pleased that she accepted his response, his eyes roaming to the fireplace as they fell into another comfortable silence. His breathing steadied as he relaxed, his mind drifting off to the events of the day even though this wasn't his intention. It was hard not to think back to it all, and once he did, he was even more glad that he was holding Vianna right now; that they weren't still upset with each other. Granted, things weren't exactly back to normal completely yet, but it was better than it had been earlier.

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 02:14 AM

Vianna sighed, her mind elsewhere as well, and she tilted her head slightly to rest beside that of the boy who was resting his chin on her shoulder, so their heads touched just slightly. "I don't think I can wait four days for that potion to be ready," she said suddenly after a few moments of silence, referring to the 8-Hour Potion. It had seemed like such a short time when they first found the potion, but now waiting four days was beginning to look like an eternity.

emmafan123 12-07-2009 02:16 AM

Ferris who was still staring at the fire, listened as she mentioned that she didn't think she could wait four days for the eight hour potion to be ready. "I can and can't at the same time," he replied with a soft chuckle, his mind roaming over things for a moment. "I mean, of course I want to do something, but...At the same time, going straight towards the kidnappers isn't exactly all fun and games."

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 02:22 AM

Vianna turned to Ferris as he responded and she silently agreed. "Isn't it kind of exciting, though?" she asked, obviously finding this a bit more of an adventurous game than something serious she should be absolutely terrified about. "It'll actually be kind of fun! If we don't get caught, anyway," she added with a soft humourless chuckle at the last bit, as the thought of getting caught did terrify her.

emmafan123 12-07-2009 02:27 AM

"Yeah, it's a little exciting I guess," Ferris replied, but it was evident by his uneasy expression that he was more worried about the danger aspect. However, he was glad to be doing something, sneaking up on the kidnappers, having the upperhand for once. "It might be fun," he agreed softly, but it was exactly her last comment that made him worry about the whole situation. "See..That's a huge factor....What happens if we do get caught?"

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 02:32 AM

Vianna's forehead creased slightly at Ferris's last words... what would happen if they do get caught? She hadn't thought about this; she didn't want to think about this. And she didn't believe it would happen. But if it did... what would happen? Nothing good, that's for sure. "We can't get caught - we won't get caught," said Vianna shaking her head slightly. "I doubt we're actually going to spend all eight hours that the potion lasts with the kidnappers; and if anything, we can use that invisibility charm I found in the book," she said. "And if even that isn't enough... we'll shrink and hide in a cup or something," she went on, trying to think of every possible wall they could set between themselves and the kidnappers. "And even if the kidnappers are experts with dark magic... we could hurt them with even the simplest of spells if they don't see it coming," she added, well aware that the element of surprise was always a good weapon, as she used it all the time when pulling pranks on her dense older brother (and from having pranks done to her in return).

emmafan123 12-07-2009 02:35 AM

Ferris listened with his faint smile growing as Vianna listed off the many different ways they would get away from the kidnappers if they had to and he let out a small laugh at how well thought out she had made this plan in just a minute or so. "I see, well aren't you prepared?" he said playfully, though he was glad that they had back up plans...It made him feel just a tiny bit better about all of this.

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 02:38 AM

Vianna laughed lightly as Ferris teased her, calling her well-prepared. "I'm right, though, aren't I?" she said with a proud grin, quite pleased with herself. She then chuckled softly, merely watching the boy before her for a brief moment before leaning over the couple inches between them to place a kiss on his pale cheek. She didn't have a specific reason to do so other than a random urge to kiss his cheek, as it felt like she had been deprived from this privilege for far too long during the time they had been mad with each other.

emmafan123 12-07-2009 02:41 AM

Ferris grinned at her as she asked him if she was right, obviously happy about her plans, "Yes, you're very right," he said with a small nod. It was then that the girl placed a kiss to his cheek, and made his heart swell suddenly and unexpectedly. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that it felt like ages since she had last done this. He pulled her a tad bit closer, holding her comfortably in his arms as he murmured, "I missed you." He had said this once before today, but this time it didn't sound like a nice thing to say after being away for a couple hours. Now it sounded like it meant a little more, almost like a soft finalization to their argument earlier.

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 02:45 AM

Vianna gave the boy beside her a smile as he pulled her a bit closer, sharing with her that he had missed her. Her eyes almost sparkled at these words, well aware of the difference that this statement had from the last time it had been said. "I missed you too, Professor," she replied, her smile large and bright and impossible to wipe off her face now. "A lot," she added.

emmafan123 12-07-2009 02:49 AM

A warm smile fell onto the boy's face as Vianna told him that she had missed him too, a lot. This made his brown eyes nearly shine as they stared at her blue ones for a moment, "Oh yeah?" he said a little playfully in a soft whisper, still talking in a low voice even though they were the only ones in the room. By this point he had rested his forehead against hers, a warm smile still on his face.

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 02:54 AM

Vianna chuckled softly at Ferris's playful response. She was able to scan almost every tiny detail on his face now that they were so close, even see the texture of his skin. And it was all a pleasant sight to her, a sight she never wanted to look away from again. It was ridiculous how a short, small argument could affect the way they saw each other now, as it was completely normal and even healthy for couples to argue. And most argue for hours, days, maybe even weeks. Yet this short little hour that they spent being upset with each other, felt more like hundreds of years than an hour to Vianna. And she was glad it was officially over now.

emmafan123 12-07-2009 02:59 AM

Ferris was gazing over her features just as she was doing to him, revelling in the fact that he had ever been fighting with such a girl like her. He didn't like when they fought, he much rather preferred this kind of interaction, these staring contests they had, smiles on their faces. But it was only a matter of time before those magnets set to work, and Ferris very slowly leaned towards her, finally closing the distance between them and pressing a gentle kiss to her lips.
OOC: Off for ten minutes or so!

Gryffindoll 12-07-2009 03:04 AM

Vianna's gaze lowered just slightly and over to the boy's lips as he suddenly began to lean closer to her, instinct already telling her what was coming. Her eyes closed as his lips met hers in a gentle kiss, and she kissed him back with a hint of a smile still on her lips. If the last time she kissed his cheek felt like years ago, kissing his lips felt like something from centuries ago instead. And she didn't realize until this very moment just how much she had missed those lips in the short time that they were apart.

ooc: Okay!

emmafan123 12-07-2009 03:15 AM

Ferris found that he had missed her lips more than he had realized he could miss them. When had they last kissed? He tried to remember, almost assuming it was days until he realized that it was just earlier that day. It was surprisingly how much someone could miss just a simple kiss, but kissing Vianna wasn't something the boy had ever taken for granted, it was the best feeling in the world. He could kiss her and know that he was kissing someone he loved more than anything else on the planet, and that made their kiss all that better as he continued it, his brown eyes closed as he fell into a bliss.
