bic: Zyra other sense began to get more powerful since she was getting nervous. she could hear a lot of voices in her head. she couldn't make out what they all said. "What?" she thought. "Oh! I wish all of you would shut up!" she thought angrily.

Steve turned to face Jalane, I dont know exactly what happened to him. When I first saw him, he was on the floor, not moving at all. But he's alive, Im sure of that. Steve sat beside Ernie and patted Ernie's forehead... It felt normal, but still he was unconscious... I guess we are all stuck here he looked at all the passengers.... he's getting a bit nervous and thinking.... Yikes, what should I do... clearly, we cant apparate, and whats the matter with Ernie... Steve shook his head in disbelief.

Jalane checked outside, and found broken glasses on the ground. Hmm, that explains the sound of glass breaking earlier.

She takes a piece of glass, smells it, and tries to determine what it is. This isn't whiskey, she thought. She studies the purple contents some more and realizes, Purple? Oh dear! This is a sleeping potion! Why would Ernie drink this?

She got on the bus again when a thought struck her. What if he didn't know? What if someone replaced his drink with the potion?

She looks at all the inquiring faces and says, "Ok, everyone. Old Ernie here just fell asleep. Not to worry. He should be up and about in... well, I hope soon enough..."

She looks at Ernie again, and she suddenly remembers why this is the "Hot Spot". She grabs Steve and leans very close to him and whispers, "Can you drive this thing? We have to leave NOW!"

bic: Zyra gave a sad look. "Poor ernie..." she thought. "Wait! Maybe I can help him! she said happily to her cousin! Mum kept the fact that I was a witch since I got my letter,right?" she said getting an idea. "Well, I lived a muggle life and went to muggle school! Mum made me go to Red Cross training!! she didnt make me go there for nothing!!!"

Jalane overhears Zyra's enthusiastic response. "Oh honey, cpr won't work on poor Ernie here..." She sighs, then continues. "Ok, don't be alarmed, but he "accidentally" drank sleeping potion. Don't know how it got in his bottle, but we'll figure it out."

She winks at Zyra, and looked at Steve again... "Well??"

Zyra blushed. she wasn't really talking about CPR...and she would never think of putting her lips near Ernie's. "That would be weird..." she thought. "I was thinking of medical kits...first aids....but CPR??? I never got to learn that coz I started at Hogwarts.."

she was a bit puzzled. "sleeping potion?" she thought. she just hoped this had nothing to do with her parents missing. she was having this weird theory that someone had taken her parents and hired the nasty nanny for her thinking she would run away. then they know the Knight Bus would pick her up so they put some sleeping potion in Ernie's bottle. and they knew no one would ever get to disapparate in the Hot Spot. her heart was racing at the speed of light. "Maybe, they came to the house to get the whole family, and since I wasn't there...they set a trap for me!!!" she thought.

Steve heard Jalane... what? you mean he just accidentally drank a sleeping potion.. This is unbelievable.. how could Ernie mistakenly drank a sleeping potion and at this time! Steve was beginning to think, its his fault. He should have make that tea for him at the first place. Then Jalane whispered to him, and in low voice... Oh no Jalane, I cant drive this thing.. I mean can drive but not as fast as this Knight Bus.. no

Nica followed... well, everyone.
She simply stared at Ernie. She caught the word "Sleeping Potion"and "CPR".
She heard this lady they call Jalane asking Steve if he can ride the bus.

Nica gave Steve a questioning look.
"What do you mean you cant ride this thing?!" she asked, voice rising a bit.

Steve looked up at their bushy red haired passenger, What I mean is, I never driven it before. Remember, Im new here.. Yes, I know how to drive but no.. no.. not as fast as this bus. A big no. Steve dont want to take a risk of driving this bus, to him its UnsafE. He turned to face Jalane, Jalane, you're probably right, Ernie drank a sleeping potion. He stood up and cleared his throat.. Everyone, Ernie is asleep and uhm... I guess we have to wait until the potion wears off. Oh.. o.. Steve expects a lot of complaints.. for sure, some will be willing to wait and some will probably wont take it easy. But in this situation; as to where they are right now and what limited materials they have in the bus, they got no choice at all but to wait... thats what Steve thinks.

Zyra became scared as she heard that they couldn't move.

She shot Steve a sharp look and turned to get back on her bed as Steve announced that they'll just have to wait tll the potion wears off.

Suddenly, Jalane hears some noises outside. She looks around the bus and thinks, hhmm... we're all here... who's outside?

She quickly checks the windows and sees some figures start to head towards the bus...

Zyra heared some strange noises. she looked at Steve and Jalane, and apparently, Jalane could hear them too. as she stared outside, she asw figures approaching. "I just hope they're not dementors..."

Steve turned his head too outside the windows just like what some passengers did. To his surprise.. some black figures were approaching to them... Jalane... do you see what I see? This is so unexpected...

Zyra gulped. she thought of the most terrible things they could be. dementors, death eaters, poltergeists...."This cant be happening..." she told herself.

Jalane grabs Steve, and ushers for him to go outside. "Come with me, Steve. I think I know who they are..."

Jalane and Steve steps off the bus, Jalane's wand at the ready. "Who's there?" She sees some figures in cloaks, and realizes that these are Aurors, people she sees at the MoM. "Oh, hello..."

Jalane was then told of some Death Eater activity in the area. She was asked why the Knight Bus was there. They asked her why she didn't do anything, knowing that this is the "Hot Spot".

She nervously looks at Steve, and explains that Ernie, the busdriver, somehow drank sleeping potion. The Aurors looked at each other, and then assured Steve that they will be guarding the bus while they try to fix it.

Jalane felt a slight relief, but the thought of Death Eaters around gave her a fright. Suddenly, she felt someone slipping inside her thoughts. No, Zyra. Don't. Not yet.

As she said this, a man who looked a lot like Zyra started to approach them. She tried her best to reach Zyra with her mind... Zyra, if you can hear me, look outside....

Zyra was so nervous right now. "Too much voices!!" she thought she covered her ears with her hands. "As if its gonna help!!" she thought. but one particular voice caught her attention.
"Dementors??" she whispered. "I knew it! I knew it!!" she said hopelessly burrying her face in her hands. Then, she realised it was Jalane's voice and heard the other thing she said.

she looked outside. she really couldn't see well, so she squinted her eyes. "Stupid fog!" she said as she wiped the cold, foggy window with her hands. then, she recognized two people standing there. she rubbed her eyes to make sure they were really there...and they were! "Mom? Dad?" she whispered. she hurried out of the bus to get a closer look.

Its really a big relief that those stange figures were not dementors but MoMs... Steve thinks everything will be fine now.. the MoMs are now trying to fix the Bus.. Then Zyra.. went out of the bus and ... just called some of the MoMs as mom and dad.. erm.. what.. Zyra's parents are here? Hmm.. he looked at Zyra and he can somehow tell that Zyra is not looking very happy.. she seem to be a bit troubled.. What is going on here.. this is interesting.. Steve tried to engage other MoMs to talk about the bus...

Jalane watches as Zyra leaps from the bus and to the strangers she's calling mom and dad. hhmm... I thought they were missing? What are they doing here? She couldn't wait to see what unfolds between Zyra and her supposedly missing parents.

As the MoMs try to magically fix the bus, Jalane goes back inside and asks the other passengers, "Who here are of age? In using magic, I mean?"

She looks at Baki and Nica and Jen. The others seemed too young, but she wasn't sure. "We might need your help," with a sound of nervousness in her voice. She looks outside at Steve talking to the MoMs.

Nica heard Zyra addressing some people outside the bus "mom" and "dad."
She wondered what on Earth would Zyra's parents would be doing in this part of the planet, let alone in the "Hot Spot."

Moments later, she heard that lady from MoM asking,
then the lady paid her a quick look then looked outside.

"Should I or shouldnt?" she asked herself.
She wants to get to Leaky Cauldron as soon as possible of course and to achieve that..

She cleared her throat loudly.
"I am." she said, slowly raising her right hand.
She stood up, drawing her wand out.
"What can I do to help?"

As Zyra went to the people for a closer look, she confirmed that it was really them. "Mom!!! Dad!!!" she cried running towards her parents. she gave them a big hug. "I thought you were kidnapped so i ran away and i saw Eliza and the knight bus picked us up and--"

"Whoa! Slow down, Zyra!" her mom said carressing her hair. "Kidnapped?!"

"Where in Merlin's beard did you get that idea?!" her dad asked as he laughed.

"Well, you left me a note that said you'd go to some convention or something and be back later that night but you never came back! then you leave me a horrifying bossy nanny that takes over my life and our house and makes me her servant and--"

"Nanny? what nanny?"

"That nanny you left to take care of me!"

"We never sent you a nanny, dear! and we left a note that said we would be working with the ministry!"

"What? you mean--?"

"Tha your suspicions were right! we were still secretly working with the ministry...as for the nanny....I have no ieda who sent her!"

"Oh!" her mom said horrified. "Maybe the death Eaters went to the house to find us, but they found our note instead while Zyra was away!"

Her father gasped. "Yes! and they forged a note and left it till Zyra came home, then they sent this horrible nanny to take care of her....then they would track us!"

"Then tell us they have our little girl as hostage! oh!"

"Wait!" Zyra yelled. "First," she said holding up her index finger, "I'm fifteen therfor i am not a little girl..." she said pointing to herself. "Second, a nanny wanted to terrorize us?!"

Nica can hear Zyra talking to her "parents." They're talking about Deatheaters and a nanny. She can't shake off the feeling that something's not right, that it's not really Zyra's parents.

Finally, she reached Jalane.

"Do you really think that those people are Zyra's parents?" she asked, whispering.

"Well...yes...you can say that..." her mom replied.

"So, why did you keep working in the ministry a secret when you know that i already suspected that?!" she asked annoyed.

"If we said we worked in the ministry, you might not want to be seen with us in public.." replied her dad.

"And why in the bloody name of Merlin is that?"

"Because almost everyone hates the people who work in the ministry, now did you say you were picked up by the Knight Bus, dear?"

"Mom, don't go off the subject..." Zyra said arching her eyebrows. "Now, I met a very kind Lady in the Knight Bus who used to work in the Ministry, and, Mom?" she said as she held her mom's shoulder. "I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen with you even if you worked in the Ministry!!!"

"Really?"
"Really?"

both of her parents said at once. "Yes!!! you both are aurors!!! that's the coolest job ever!!!" she said overjoyed. "You catch Death Eaters! you help save bothe the wizard and muggle world!!! I wanna be an Auror!!! a lot of people do!"

"Well, I'll be cursed by Death Eaters and eaten by the Giant Squid!"said her dad holding his forehead.

"Don't you dare say that!"her mom said putting wand hand on her waist and pointer an index finger at her dad with another.

"Yeah! careful on what you say or they might come true!!" Zyra chirped in. "Anyway, were kinda stranded here...."

Thanks, Nica right? I just need someone else who can do magic legally to help me out.

"I don't know. That's why I was asking for some help. We need to be lookouts while they fix the bus."

She nervously glanced around, and tells Nica in a low voice, "Reason why this is a "hot spot" is because lots of Death Eaters have been seen around here. Not sure why they're congregating here, but lots of Ministry folks have been assigned to watch the area."

ooc: where's Jen?? and Yuri?? is Jen "writing" this story for the Daily Prophet?

She quickly checks on Zyra and Steve outside, then grabs Nica by the hand and leads her outside.

"I don't trust this place. And those people. Just keep an eye out, and wand out, just in case."

Jalane begins to wonder why they were taking so long fixing the bus. Hhmm, it shouldn't be that hard...

She looks for Steve, and asks him, "Can you try starting the bus? See if it works now?"

She tries to reach Zyra with her mind again, hoping she would hear... Zyra, this might be too much to ask of you, but try to read your parents' minds to see if they're really your parents.

She let Jalane lead her outside.

Nica quickly recited in her mind the hexes and jinxes that she learned in school.

dang! Who would've thought that those can come handy?!

She scanned the area as Steve climbed onto the bus, silently wishing that
they will not encounter Dark wizards.
