"I dont know if he is gone or not. But you are right. I think we should get her to another doctor." Jamie said.

"Ok,we will see if a Muggle doctor can come here but on the sly" jason told Jamie.

"Lets wait for Daniel to leave." Jamie said.

"Good idea Jamie but he will be leaving sooner than you think if I have anything to say or do about it" Jason said angrily.

Daniel had heard the way Melinda reacted towards the news. What a plan Mirelda had, as he thought. "She's a genius..." He whispered. "The only thing I need to do is to convince Melinda that her Chris is never getting married to her, of course, I know he will, but I will have to lie..." He added.

Melinda felt really weak. This news were of course, a shock to everyone and were going to make her life a complete limitation. Then, she heard the chat between Jason and Jamie. Was it correct to consult a second opinion about all this... She asked herself. "Maybe I have to..." She said to herself.

Chris heard what Jason and Jamie where saying. " Mel their right, you should go see another doctor". He said to her.

Melinda nodded and nodded. Though, that doctor, had been treating her forever, since she arrived to England. She thought it would be rude to think he was doing wrong by giving her that kind of news. "Alright..." Melinda said. "Let's go in two days, I have this horrible feeling I should be taking care of the babies at this moment..." Melinda said to Chris. "Thanks...for staying with me..." She said, approaching to him, then getting hold of his hands. "I love you...too much...remember that, Kaplan..." She said and smiled. She started to kiss him.

Daniel had entered the room when Melinda was now kissing Chris. Oh...how sweet....of me who is taking you away from this place and that man... He thought. He stepped back and decided not to interrupt them. He went up to his room and started to pack his things.

Chris kissed her back. He pulled away. "I love you too." he said to her.

Melinda smiled. She had never been so happy, except for the fact she thought she was dying. She promised her family and Chris that she would live her last ten years as if nothing bad was happening. "So...do you want to see a movie...I need a cheer up...like the kiss you gave me...yesterday..." Melinda said, smiling.

"Umm sure". Chris said to her.

"Ok...go downstairs, choose any movie...really any...and I will make the popcorn..." Melinda said, smiling, as she pulled away from Chris and walked to see if there was popcorn maize at the groceries closet.

Chris went downstairs he looked through the movies.

Pop, pop, pop.

Melinda was doing the popcorn as the old fashioned way. While they were ready, she prepared some lemonade and two glasses with ice on them. In less than two minutes, Melinda put everything on a large plate and started to walk downstairs. "Ready...?" She asked Chris, as she held the plate on her hands.

"Yeah, I pick a horror film. He said. Prom Night, but if you don't like horror films its ok". he said to her.

"I think I can handle it...I watched Red Dragon when I was ten..." Melinda told him, laughing.

"Alright". He said putting in the movie. He sat down on the couch.

Chris was being short on his conversations. Melinda sat down as she put the popcorn and the lemonade on the table in front of the couch. She started to watch the movie quietly. Didn't even held Chris's hand if there was something scary.

Chris notcied Melinda just sat next to him, normal she would hug him, or hold his hand, or somthing. He do anything, he watched the movie.

Just then, Melinda saw a horrible part of the movie. "Oh...for Merlin's beard..." She whispered as she got hold of her breath. She then held tight of Chris's hand.

Chris held Melinda's hand. Even though Chris hated to see blood, horror films didn't scare him at all.

Then, another part. "How can you hold this..." Melinda asked Chris in a whisper. She then laughed. She sat down more approached to him and hugged his arm.

"I don't know, it just dosen't seem to scary to me." he whispered back, then smiled at her.

"Haha..." Melinda laughed sarcastically. "Oh...well, at least...I have my hero...with me..." Melinda said, smiling to Chris.

"Yes you do". he said and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

A kiss on the cheek. The best cheer Melinda could ever have at this moment. She blushed, though, because of the dark, it couldn't be seen. She loved Chris so much, ever since she saw him at Jason's mansion, where they danced, but yet had such hard times when Victor died. She smiled back and kissed his cheek as well. Then, she turned to the movie and covered her eyes when she didn't like a part.
