“Walk or fly?” Reese asked, looking around. “Scratch that… for you it would be ride or fly.” She smirked, looking back at Joe. “So, what’ll it be?” She tried to figure out the best way around the lake if she went by ground.

"I have no idea." Joes eyes looked over at the lake. She tried to think what would be the fastest way to get back to the castle. Her mine bounced about. "I really don't." She laughed as she looked up at the sky. "Which do you think would be the fastest Blaze?"

“Flying probably.” Reese mentally tried to figure out how far they were from the other side. “But riding would be more fun, for you at least.” She looked up at the sky, frowning slightly. “Like I said, up to you.”

Joe shrugged. "I don't care much Reese." She said looking around. "Whatever is easier for you. As long as we get there is all the matters to me." Joe said with a laugh

Blaze grimaced. “I don’t want to fly with it so dark.” She told Joe before a smirk appeared on her face. “Elephant it is!” With one quick motion she turned into a large, gray, elephant. She let out a little noise with her trunk, wrapping it around Joe’s waist but waited for permission to lift her up.

Joe laughed and screamed a bit when he friend turned into an elephant. It wasn't something that she was expecting her to do. "Alright." she managed to laugh out of her mouth. "Life me up and lets get back to the common room."

Blaze carefully lifted Joe up onto her back, patting her on the head with her trunk. For some reason she had circus music playing in her head as she headed back around the edge of the lake. The sort of music that would be playing when all the elephants came out and looked all threatening and stuff. She would have laughed but just reached over with her trunk and picked up a flower that she handed up to Joe. She thought it looked cool, but didn’t feel like holding onto it while she walked.

Joe laughed as she was lifted onto the back of an elephant. "Do do do do." she sung some circus music as they walked by. Joe chuckled as she kept humming the music. It was now stuck in her head. She looked over to see Blaze's trunk passing her a flower. "what do you want this for?" She asked. Blaze rarely gave her gift- so Joe knew she was just handing it over for Joe to hold.

Blaze made a rather indifferent noise, not really having a reason. Now Joe was humming the tune. Had Joe read her mind? She hoped not. She saw another flower of the same kind and passed it up to Joe as well. They had made it about half way in no time. She supposed it was the long stride.

"Alright then." Joe said looking at the bright flower. Next thing she knew Reese was handing up another into her hands. "Making a boquet or something Reese?" she asked with a laugh looking at the second flower that was handed to her. She did enjoy the bright color. A smile came upon her face and she laughed. Why she didn't know. It wasn't a laugh out loud kind of one. Just a soft chuckle to herself.

"Luckily we don't have any classes until after lunch tomorrow." Joe said putting her arms back to her side. "That means we get to sleep for the first time in like- ages."

Blaze made a noise that sounded vaguely like a laugh before agreeing with Joe’s second statement. They really hadn’t gotten a good night sleep in a while. The next thing she knew they were pretty much back on the other side of the lake. She went into a bow, letting her trunk be used as a walkway for Joe.

Joe slid down Reese's trunk- almost tripping over her own feet. Luckily she caught herself before hitting head first into the ground- and took a more appriacted stumble before regaining balance. "It'll be nice- I mean I don't think I've gotten a good sleep in at least a month." Joe nodded as they trotted back to the castel. "I mean a month before we left Julianne had us up every morning for lessons and what not. It was so tiring. But ALAS! Sleep shall come to me- and it shall be bountiful." Joe laughed.

Reese laughed, turning back into a human as soon as Joe was off her. She kept pace with Joe, nodding. “Don’t expect me to get up. You know I was hard to get up. Even for Julianne.” She laughed slightly. “I shall pass out as soon as I hit the bed.”

Joe laughed. "I know. Remember I had to share a room with you for about a week cause something busted a whole in the ceiling of my attic?" Joe thought back on that week. They never did find out how that hole had got there. "It was raining too so I had to share your room. Jeez girl you were like a rock. I tried to wake you up one day. After an hour I just gave up on you."

Reese laughed. “Yea. That was fun though, we stayed up like, all night because it was storming so badly.” She chuckled softly. “I don’t do mornings well.” In fact, she was surprised she had gotten up that morning.

"that makes both of us." Joe let a yawn out at the end of her sentance. "I have never been a morning person. After I wake up I have to sit there for about an hour- just to try to get mentally awake. It's why school never did me any good. I'd get there- but my mind was still fast asleep. I'd just sit there like a vegtable basically." Joe nodded rememeber on how her first classes always had to the lowest marks.

Reese nodded, noticing they were very close to the castle. “Ugh! Same here. It really sucked.” Suddenly a little smirk came to her face. “I think my teacher actually called home about it once.” She snickered slightly.

Joe laughed. "See that never happened to me. My teachers would just tell me all the time that I am to Irresponible and foolish. I would go no where in my life." Their footsteps made different sounds as the stepped onto stone. "It was then that I told my English teacher that her husband was cheating on her- they would divorce in a week- and in a year she would be forced to give up her house." Joe laughed nervously as they walked into the castle. "A week later she called the hospital to send me to the looney bin."

Reese frowned slightly at Joe’s explanation. “Er, yeah.” She looked up as they headed up the stairs. Suddenly smirking she jokingly wrapped an arm around Joe’s shoulders. “Just remember. Now you’re stuck with other freaks. Like me!” She smiled brightly, making sure Joe would know she was joking.

Joe laughed. "ah you freaks ain't too bad." She said putting her arm around Blaze's shoulder. "Just think- at least we don't need funky piece of wood to do what we do. Us seven could take this whole school any day. Just get Liz to burn all thier wands. They'd have nothing on us."

Reese nodded, smiling madly. “To true. An army of whatever animals we need at our hands as well!” She looked to the ceiling. “We could rule the world!” She immediately dropped the grandeur and turned back to Joe. “The sad part is we could too.”

Joe nodded as they walked up the moving staircase. "It's insane really. With your transformation, and we have phasing. We can go invible. Fire is something destructive. I could... I could sit onto of your back and just looked pretty the whole time." She laughed just before the fleet of stairs they were on started to move. Joe let out a bit of a shriek. "God... I hate this place." she said as the stairs came to a hault.

Reese couldn’t hold back a chuckle as Joe screamed. “No spiders, don’t worry.” She headed back up the stairs towards their common room.

Joe laughed. "Spiders and moving staircases are the first things we're getting rid of when we rule the world." It took a while but at last they had made to the portrait that hung over thier common room. She wondered wether or not the school make this especially for them- or if this was once a different room. The young blond hair woman smiled at them as Joe said the password. They trotted in.

"I mean c'mon. Spiders is just ew. And moving staircases are a nuisense. They always seem to move just at the wrong time. It just confuses this place up. Who ever thought that would be a good idea?"

Reese nodded. “I’m in. Staircases that don’t move will adorn our castle, and I shall torture the ones that do.” She collapsed on the couch in front of the fireplace, looking into the dieing flames. “Dunno, I wasn’t at the meeting.”
