Did Serena have doubt in the connection that the twins had. Family was family. He would choose family over friends. If he really had friends. "You know what they say." He shrugged slightly. "Blood is thicker than water." How would Alexi picked these chumps over him?

Serena shrugged. "I guess it's because I don't have any family anymore so I guess it doesn't really matter to me." She couldn't believe she was telling Gabe this. No one knew except for Vega of course, who knew basically everything. "Hopefully she chooses the right side." Serena said, making a small wish for Gabe in her head.

"Be thankful you have no family." He said- his voice still as compasionless as ever. "Family is just a thing you care for- with no reason." That is how he saw it. He never really cared for his mother or his father- but his sister was something he could find himself caring for. Through out his life he had cared for very little things. Love only destroys.

"I guess." She said, not wanting to talk anymore about family. Gabe was lucky he had some but than again, people who belonged on this side of the world shouldn't have someone that they had to watch out for and love. It only caused problems.

Turning her head, she glanced at the group, wishing the sun would rise.

"How much time do you think we have? Until sunrise." The sky was still dark. It seemed as though the say wouldn't break for ages yet. He could also tell that Serena didn't want to talk about her family. He wasn't going to push the topic onto her. He wasn't that kind of person. So instead he said the only thing he could think of saying

Staring at the sky, Serena tilted her head, feeling her long blonde locks tumble down her shoulders and back. "Two hours or so, I think." She said observing the sky. "It should be soon." She said, her eyelids fluttering slightly. She was tired but there was no way she could sleep now.

Gabe looked at Serena. "Tired?" He asked her. He could see the bags starting to form underneath her eyes, and her lids seemed to grow heavy. He couldn't blame her for being tired. He was too.

She opened her eyes widely after blinking a few times, wanting to deny it. She didn't want to appear to be sleeping on the job but than stopped. "Yeah." She admitted, looking at him, knowing she probably looked worse for wear. Her hair a mess and ash marks smeared over her face.

Looking at Gabe closely, she noticed he looked quite exhausted too. "You can take a nap if you want. I'll keep watch." She offered.

Gabe looked at her and shook his head. No matter how tired he was he wasn't going to sleep. She could be the one. "You can take a nap." He said as he drew out his wand. Serena looked like a mess. He probably did look any better. "Scourgify." He said clearly. The ash marks from her face and arms cleaned up and dissapeared. "There you go."

Serena didn't even flinch when Gabe pulled out his wand pointed it a few inches from her face. He probably could have killed her right then and there if he wanted. Her reflexes weren't that fast enough to draw the wand lying beside her on the ground. For some odd reason, Serena trusted Gabe, however weird that was.

Feeling cleaner, she smiled and thanked him. "Thanks." She said, happy to get the ashes and dirt off her face. "Me nap?" She shook her head. She couldn't. Not now. Could she? There really was nothing they would be able to do right now and napping for two hours or so would really help when she probably had to fight against these kids. Too bad they hadn't stolen their wands or something.

Serena sighed. She didn't want to seem like she was sleeping on the job but she was exhausted.

"Yes you sleep." It seemed as though through-out the years Serena and Gabe had learned to trust each other. He didn't fully trust anyone. But if he had to it would maybe be Serena. Then again anyone could turn around and stab you in the back- or just shoot a spell at you.

"It's alright. I got it all. You can use me as a pillow if you even want." Most guys would have a cockiness sarcastic tone to their voice. But Gabe said it just as he was saying anything else.

She laughed loudly. A real geniune laugh. Now that was weird as she used her hand to muffle the sound. They were in a situation where it wasn't too right to laugh. "Thanks love." She said, scooting over closer to him, grabbing her wand along the way and leaving it in her hand. She always felt the need to be prepared. Leaning her head against his shoulder, she smiled slightly. At least his shoulder was comfortable. Opening and closing her eyes, she finally closed her fluttering lids.

Gabe rolled his eyes slightly as she laughed. His sister looked over at them quickly and then looked back over to the group she was with. He stayed slouched with his hands in pockets as Serena rested her head on his shoulder. If anything happened- well he would get up and she would have to feel that. It only took seconds for her to fall asleep.

"Hey Gabe." Alexi came walking up to her brother and the sleep Serena. Her hands were stuffed in her pockets. She always did this when nervous or uncomforable. She always looked as though she was trying to be a child in big large rainboots kicking at a rock nervously after her first kiss. She sat next to her brother. "Um... is something going on between you and Serena I don't know about?" she asked noticing the other girl asleep on her brother's shoulder.

Gabe looked up at his sister as she sat down next to him. "Me and?" He shook his head. Once again his words were short. His voice was still calm and quite. But now it seemed to lose it's edge that it had when he talked to Serena or anybody else assosiated with them.

Dylan watched intensely as Rosalyn's eyes fluttered closed and she drifted into a light sleep in her sitting position. If he was to attack her, it would never be as easy as it was now. But did he really want to do that? He was also very tired and he was in a confused stage now. He wanted her awake when he approached her. He wanted to see her look at him, and give him at least a little bit of a challenge. That's what he'd convinced himself to think. But still, deep in his mind, there was a part of him that maybe...just maybe wanted to give her a chance? Perhaps. He couldn't really tell. But suddenly realising what he'd been thinking, he quickly straightened up his posture and shook his head. No! Of course not! As if he would ever give that blood-traitor a chance of survival. He just wanted to see the fear in her eyes, to hear her scream and plead at his knees for him not to take her life. That was all.

Rosalyn had drifted off into a very light sleep, she was vaguely aware of the voices around her. She woke with a start as she heard someone talking and she sighed, realising she'd fallen asleep. No, I need to stay awake. She thought to herself, she couldn't just sleep. What if something happened? She wouldn't be prepared to to defend herself and her friends.

John glanced over at Dylan. He certainly seemed like he was wrestling with something in his head. He shook it off, a slightly passive expression on his face. There was nothing extremely important to do at the moment, was there?

"My dear friends." Vega got up off the tree as Serena had fallen asleep. "I say now, would be a proper time to move. We have an hour until sun rise and I do not want any of these foolish nitwits to see us." She started to walk out towards the right of her.

Alexi looked over at Vic and November. She looked back at her brother. Serena was still asleep. "Gabe- I think you should spend more time with Victoria." It was a bold suggestion. Well not really as Gabe would take it lightly. "I just... I have this feeling that's all."

Alexi's feelings were never good ones. Well- to Gabe they were never good. Her feeling would be that Victoria had feelings somewhat for Gabe, and right now he could be involved with any of them. But if his sister pushed him into it he would have to- refusing without a reason would gain suspicion. "Maybe." Is all her said to her.

Victoria watched as Alexi went over to Gabe, and looked at the rest. Teddy was still in the same spot she'd left him, and Rose was...falling asleep? "Pst! Rose, don't fall asleep!" she said, her eyes were only looking at her, she couldn't fall asleep, well, she could, but it wasn't precisely wise, not if Teddy's suspicions and the ones she had were actually true.

She sighed as she didn't notice any change on Rose, and grabbed a small rock she found to throw it to her, hoping she won't give in to the sleep. "Rose, stay awake!" she said, almost in a whisper, as she threw the small rock at her, there was no need to raise her voice, Rose will hear her.

John nodded quickly, but blinked at the new way she had addressed them. “Of course. Whatever you see fit, ma’am.” He followed behind her, but gave her space, just in case. The last thing he wanted was to be hexed for, well anything, and especially coming from Vega. That would only end in bloodshed, even if it wasn’t lethal.

Alexi could see the the sky start to lighten up. After finishing a long yawn she looked up and then back at her brother. "Should we start moving?"

Gabe looked around. Yes now would be the proper time. He nodded. "Tell everyone." As his sister walked off he brushed Serena's hair out of her eyes. "Hey." He said trying to wake her. "C'mon now." His voice was soft as he shook her shoulder lightly.

Dylan nodded to Vega, and tearing his glare away from Rosalyn, he turned to follow her. Keeping a pace that wouldn't leave him behind, but not as fast as Vega. He hunched his shoulders and shoved his hands in his pockets, his wand still grasped in his right hand.

Rosalyn gave a small jump as she felt something hit her, she looked around to see where it had come from and realised it was from Victoria. She gave her a sharp nod and got up onto her feet, figuring she'd stay awake if she wasn't sitting down. "I'm awake." She assured Victoria, starting to pace in small circles. Her eyelids felt heavy, tiredness taking over her body. But she couldn't sleep, not now, it was much too dangerous. Victoria was right. She sighed and wondered if there was a spell she could use to wake herself up a bit.

Charlotte soon started to follow Vega in the middle of the group with her wand in her left hand and a thermos in her right filled with the hot coffee she had just gotton from the bag around her shoulder. Hopefully thinking Vega would not notice that she had and needed the coffee. But if they had to stand and watch the kids again she was prepared to stay awake and offer it to anyone that needed it as well.

Alexi walked over to Vic and Rose. "Hey guys I think we are going to start heading... wherever those two plan on heading us towards." She pointed towards Gabe and the waking Serena. "Hopefully we can end up somewhere." She smiled at the two and then walked over to Teddy.

"Hey Ted." Her voice was more soft then it was when talking to the girls. She smiled gently at him. "I think we are going to start moving along again."

Gabe rolled his eyes slightly and shook Serena. Was she really this deep of a sleeper? "Serena come along now and lets wake up." He said his voice still quite- as he shook her shoulder again.

Feeling something brush against her forehead, she jolted slightly, roused out of her deep sleep. Trying to open her eyes, she brought up her hand to rub her sleepy eyes. What was going on?

Hearing a familiar voice, Serena opened her eyes, head still on Gabe's shoulder. Where was she? Sitting upright, her mouth formed an 'o'. "Gabe." She said, looking at him sleepily. "What's going on? She asked, confused.

Gabe looked at Serena as she finally woke up. Forgetful girl. He looked at Serena. "The sun is rising." He pointed towards the sky which was starting to turn a sort of arrange of colors. "You need to get up so we can start moving to that village."

Victoria looked at Alexi and nodded, "Umm...sure" she said, why did they have to follow Gabe and Serena was beyond her. Actually, it was a good question, why did they have to follow them? She looked at Rose as she got up, it was better to be standing than seating.

She looked at Alexi and decided to ask her the general wondering she had, "Why do we follow them?" she said, trying not to look at Gabe or Serena. Well, they've been following them since they got out from the train and it never led them towards anything, really.
