Alexi looked at Victoria as she asked her why they were following Serena and Gabe. She gave a light shrug. "They are both quite smart. I trust my brother knows what he is doing. Why do you ask?" She looked over at the two getting up from the ground. She looked back at Vic. The tone of her voice made her seem as though she was paranoid, no... suspisous

She narrowed her eyes at the two of them a bit but her eyes returned to normal as soon as Alexi was looking at her, "I don't know, I just..." she directed her sight to the not-so-burning forest and then turned to the rest, "...It's just weird, you know, I think we are all very capable to survive if we don't follow" considering they haven't gotten them anywhere either safe or crowded.

"Are we going west?" she asked, looking at no one in particular, it seemed like the best choice, in her opinion.

Alexi noticed the way that the sun was. It was just starting to rise... east. She looked over at her brother and Serena. It looked as though they were starting to make their way towards the sun. "No I think we are going east." She said. "We just came from the west." she pointed behind the rising sun at the ashed forest tumbling on itself. Sparks and flames flickered out from hidden places.

Victoria looked away, if they were going to head east, then the sun will hit their faces, making them unable to see any threat for a while, but she didn't know they came all the way from the west. There was no other choice.

"Oh, I didn't know" she said, and shrugged. She was already standing when she said this, and was a few feet away from Alexi when she spoke.

"It's alright Victoria. We are all a little off at the moment." Alexi yawned. Unlike Serena and Rose she didn't even close her eyes as they sat there for what seemed like around 2 or 3 hours. But never mind that- now they had to be off to find something that could help them. She started walking along with Victoria as the sun was still hidden under the horizon, but high enough to light up the sky. "I guess now is a good time to move. I mean the sun is yet to come up- but it is still light right?"

Rosalyn stood quietly, biting her lip anxiously and clutching to her arms as she felt a little chilly. The lack of sleep and coldness seemed to change her a bit. She was unusually pale, she had dark circles under her eyes and her hair was messy, very unlike Rose. She could feel her anger coming, and she hoped she wouldn't have an outburst infront of her friends. Her Veela temper was embarrassing enough in front of her family, not to mention in front of her friends. With a small yawn, she looked at Alexi and nodded, "I think the sooner we go the better." She said, her voice quieter than the usually loud-mouthed Rosalyn.

Alexi looked over at Rose. She seemed to different than the Rose that Alexandra knew. She walked over to her side. Instead of asking Are you okay? Instead the looked over at her friend. "How are you doing?" She asked.

Serena nodded, slowly getting up and everything wooshed back into her brain, making her stumble backwards a few steps. Ah. It was time for action. Blinking sleepily, she rubbed her eyes, wand in hand. "Okay." She said, forcing herself to be alert. "Let's go." She said.

Gabe put his palm flat against Serena's back to prevent her from falling down. Once she regained her balance he started to walk off. East we go east. he thought, walking with his hands stuffed into his pockets

Serena gave a small thankful nod to Gabe and immediately directed her attention back to the group. "Hey guys. We should get going." She suggested to them, wondering if they would take their command. They had better or her and Gabe would have to force them.

Everyone had seemed to be all off and walking behind the both of them. Gabe looked back for a quick second as Serena walked over to the rest of them. He didn't give them a second glance.

"Hey Serena." Alexi walked up to the girl and gave her brother a small glance. "Do you like Gabrielle?" She asked- her eyes darting between her and her own brother.

"What?" Serena said, turning her, blue eyes wide. "What are you talking about? Me like Gabe?" She said, glad that the disppearing darkness was still able to cover the flush that appeared on her cheeks. "What makes you think that?" She asked, whispering, wondering if Gabe would be able to hear.

Alexi smirked and looked over at her brother who was now ahead of the group. "I don't know, a feeling. I saw you asleep on his shoulder and he just didn't seem to mind. If it was anyone else he would be... well Gabish?" She couldn't find a word to describe Gabrielle's attitude. "You know shun away uncomforably."

Serena shook her head. "Maybe he's just taking pity on me considering all of this has happened." She said to her, gesturing to their surroundings. "It's Gabe. He's too cold sometimes for me to like him."

"Too cold?" Alexi said as though Serena was saying it about her and not Gabe. "Serena Gabe isn't cold. He's just awkward. I haven't even seen him kill a fly before. He's not cold just... uncomfortably quiet."

Well, apparently you don't know your own twin brother as well as you thought you did. The blonde thought to herself, after hearing Alexi's words. "I guess." She said slowly, looking like she was taking the words to heart. "Maybe I don't know him well enough to judge. Sorry." She said, looking at her.

"Even if he was cold at times." Alexi smirker slightly as she walked along side of everyone else. "The other times you could still like him." She lightly pushed her friend in a joking matter.

Serena laughed slightly. "That's true." She said to Alexi. Looking at her friend closely, the blonde hoped the girl would pick the right side when the time came. She didn't want to lose her and she didn't think Gabe could lose his own twin either. Although, none of them should have any feelings for these people. Emotions always made these things harder.

Walking forward in the direction they were supposed to go to, Serena stopped abrubtly as they reached a clearing.

"What's wrong Serena?" Alexi stopped when her friend stopped also. She looked over at the rest of the group who had kept on walking. But then slowly they stopped.

Gabe had stopped also when he noticed everyone else was too. He looked over at his college wondering what was up with her. "Serena?" He simply asked.

Serena looked at Gabe pointedly. This was were they were supposed to be wasn't it? Unless Vega had changed orders. The blonde hadn't seen her throughout this so she wasn't sure what the specific orders were anymore. Hearing everyone's concerns, she shook her head. "Sorry. I just got really tired all of a sudden." She said, rubbing her blue eyes. "Don't worry about me. We'll just keep on going."

Tired? Did Gabe forget to tell her how they had to head off towards a village. How long it was going to be was even a mystery to him. He looked at Serena and nodded. "Come here." He said as everyone started to walk again. Him and Serena now following the group. When she reached him he pulled out a chocolate bar out of his pocket. "Here."

Slowing down so Gabe could talk to her, Serena watched the group walk ahead of them. Apparently they weren't supposed to stop here. Okay then. Time to follow behind Gabe since he apparently knew where they were supposed to be going.

Realizing that Gabe was trying to hand her something, she took it in her hand, bewildered at what it could be. Staring down at the object, she laughed lightly for what seemed like one of the first times in a while. Chocolate. That was what he had given her. "Thank you." She said gratefully. Opening the wrapper, she ripped off a piece and placed it into her mouth, feeling the substance melt over the tongue. "Did you want some?" She asked.

Gabe shook his had as Serena asked him if he wanted some. No he was determined not to eat until he finished his job. It was almost like, like a goal. Or a punishment that he had not yet finished it and it seemed as though he was taking his sweet time on it. It wasn't as though he was hungry just yet. "No it's yours." He said quietly.

Nodding her head, she continued to munch on the candy bar, thinking about what Alexi had asked her earlier. Of course she didn't like Gabe. The only reason why she was...counting on him for help was because they were partners in this mission. That didn't mean anything right? She thought to herself, chewing and walking behind the group. Of course it didn't mean anything. She said determinedly to herself.

Gabe's dark blue eyes looked over at Serena. Something was up with her, something was wrong and it was more than she was tired. Something was bothering her inside and he could tell. "What's wrong?" He asked, knowing it was something. He didn't know whether she would tell him or not. Knowing the female gender she would most likely keep it to herself.
