Wierd it was, and Coheed could feel his uneasiness. Her attempt to push it out of her mind worked though. Smacking back on her cheerful grin she looked back at Matt. "Perhaps I will just give you the silent treatment then!"


It seemed as though quiet a bit of people came running to help the girl. With all the distation, it was very easy for Gabe to slip by the crowd, and sneak outside the hall. When out of the way of everyone, he let out a soft breath and sat against the wall.

OOC: I just noticed my charrie's name is Xavior, not Harrison! :P :blush: LOL anyway, just so you all know, I am now Xavior :D

Xavior looked around and saw that silent kid slip out of the room. "Where is he going?" He thought, and turned to everyone else and said, "Umm, I'll be right back. I'm gonna go put my bag upstairs. I'll be right back." He grabbed his duffel bag and walked towards where the kid had disappeared. When he was in the hallway, he saw him sitting against the wall. "Hey, what are you doing out here alone?" He asked, standing in front of the kid.

Demitri Woods sighed as the elder finally got them ready to leave for the Deumont House. He was new to this school, and he wasn't sure what it was going to be like. However, he would get more training for his powers and that's what he wanted. With a nod to the elder, they apparated to his new school.

Arissa smiled as she ran through the house, trying to gather every last minute thing possible. Her many pets scattered from her feet as she ran and arrived at the door in time to greet the elder. "Let's go!" she said, pulling her back up to the door after blowing a kiss to her parents and pets. They appeared just outside of the door. She pushed open the door to reveal a new boy standing there. "Hey!" she said with a bright smile.

Dimitri turned at the friendly voice and offered a small smile. "Hello."

"I'm Arissa Lewis... new here?" she asked him with a warm smile.

Dimitri nodded in response to her question and offered his hand. "Dimitri Woods."

Arissa took his hand and shook it. "Come on, I'll show you where to go," she said, moving through the halls. Soon, they arrived where everyone was gathered.

"Hey everyone!! It didn't start without me did it?" she asked, coming over to sit with her group of friends.

"Rissa!" Delilah shouted excitedly as her friend walked in."How was your summer?" she asked.She then turned her attention to the boy she had never seen before who had come in with Arissa"Hello, I'm Deliliah Binks. What's your power?" Delilah asked.

Enid was watching the people walk into the foyer distractedly before turning back to the girls, only to find that Gabe had gone missing. Her jaw dropped. "Wha-- he got away! Where'd he go?!" she asked, jumping back up to her feet. Whoa, how did she not notice that? But before she could really do much about it, Xavior was already making his way over to the quiet boy who had left. Enid decided to let him take care of that, perhaps Gabe would feel more comfortable talking to another guy rather than a girl. Enid shrugged to herself and turned to Arissa and Demitri as they entered the scene.

"Arissa!" Enid called out to Arissa, waving a friendly hand as she joined the others she had left behind earlier in her pursuit to get Gabe to join them all. "What did I miss?" she asked, turning to Matt; but before he could answer, she had diverted her attention to the new boy. "Oooooh, we have a new student?" she asked, her eyebrows raising slightly. "I'm Enid Banvard," she introduced herself, and before he could even reply to that, she was already bombarding him with questions - "Where do you come from? What's your power? Did you go to another school like Deumont before coming here?" Typical Enid, turning into a little chatterbox at times.

"Well you should be." Coheed pouted once more, but then turned around slowly, looking over at Matt. "I guess I'm sorry too." She hummed, and then giggled again. She looked over, it seemed as though Gabe had dissapeared from the crowd, and so did Xavier. Well, to each their own.

Gabe head flung up when he heard a voice. well it wasn't the girl he managed to burn, but instead one of the other students that had formed their group of sharing summer adventures.

What was he doing here? Hmh what could he say. Running away? No he wasn't really running away. "I'm just..." He said quietly. "I'm just getting some air." Well that was true.

Arissa smiled and ran over to hug Matt. "Excellent! I'm glad!" she said, looking around at the group with a bright smile. She was glad to be back among familiar friends and a familiar atmosphere. At least here she was free to be herself- not to mention push her abilities to their farthest extent. And that was the best feeling in the world. As focus turned to Dimitri, Arissa smiled at the new boy in encouragement.

Dimitri nodded to the boy. "I'm Dimitri... Dimitri Woods," he said, taking Matt's hand and shaking it warmly. He liked what he had seen so far- people were friendly and there was plenty of greenery around. Plants were always a good sign.

Arissa laughed and ran over to hug Delilah as well. "I had a good summer! It was busy, and I found a few more friends..." she trailed off with a smile. Everyone knew how she had a tendency to make friends with the local animals. It was in her nature after all. "How about yours?" she asked with a smile.

Dimitri smiled at the girl that addressed him. "Dimitri Woods... I work with earth and plants," he said, not sure exactly how he should phrase it. Usually, he was told not to talk about his powers, and that's mainly what he stuck to. However, he was with a group that would understand. Maybe he would be able to open up a little more.

Arissa moved to hug Enid next. "Hello there!" she said with a smile. She turned as everyone else did to look at Dimitri. He was taking all of this attention well, despite the fact that he seemed shier than most. They were all cats, backing up this mouse into a corner... but this mouse was acting more like a cat. She laughed softly at her animal analogy, curious to see what he said.

"I'm Dimitri... I work with plants and earth," he said to them with a smile. "I'm from southern England and I did not come from another school," he said with a small smile. "I was teaching myself... working out in the forests with some instruction from my father," he explained quietly.

Enid listened as the newcomer shared some information about himself, but a small crease formed between her eyebrows as she furrowed them. He worked in the forests with instruction from his father? A gardner, perhaps? No that's silly, gardening (or at least gardening as we know it - a man in overalls watering plants) isn't a power... then what was he doing with the forests? Enid was quiet for a few moments, trying to figure out Dimitri's power, but after finding herself failing miserably at this, she flat out asked, "What's your power, exactly?" But then she changed her mind - "Wait! No - Don't tell me! I know it's go to do with nature, so... you were working at a forest... you can talk to nature? Make trees walk? Something like that?" she asked, throwing her best guesses out there.

Delilah hugged Arissa back and looked to Demitri. Everyone seemed to be swarming around him. He seemed sort of shy, well they all were their first day. He would get over it soon with all the great friends he would make here."Enid, do you think you've asked him enough questions?" she giggled, that was so Enid.

Dimitri laughed softly as the girl tried to guess his power. Apparently he hadn't described it very well. "My power deals with plants and earth, as I said," he said with a small smile. "I can shift small sections of earth as I wish, and grow any plant with just my hands," he explained. He removed a seed from his pocket and placed it on his palm. "Watch," he said, and nodded toward the seed. The seed sprouted in his hands, and the plant reached up toward the ceiling with apparent eagerness. The blossom soon appeared and opened to reveal a small daisy. "This is what I can do," he said with a shaky smile. He had never shown this to anyone besides his parents before- his mother had rejected it... how would these strangers react.

"That's absolutely wonderful!" Arissa breathed, stepping up to see the flower. "May I?" she asked, gently reaching toward the plan. At Dimitri's nod, she reached out an gently touched a petal of the flower. "Its beautiful!" she said, smiling up at him.

Enid turned to Delilah as she was addressed, and she couldn't help but giggle as well. Sometimes she just completely lost control over her curiosity and bombarded people with questions and interrogations she never thought might actually make them uncomfortable. "I'll stop as soon as he asks me to do so," she said, in a way letting the boy know he didn't really have to answer all her nosy questions, but at the same time, and in a different way, letting him know if he didn't ask her to stop, she would continue on with the interrogation. She didn't have the slightest problem with that.

But it was then that Dimitri began explaining his power and even gave a small demonstration, showing the group how he could turn just a simple seed resting on the palm of his hand into a beautiful flower in only a matter of seconds. Enid watched this with completely fascinated, large, sparkling green eyes. Whoa... that was, by far, one of the most amazing powers she had ever witnessed. "That's amazing!" she suddenly gasped, her eyes examining the plant that rested on his hand. "You must have quite an amazing garden back home, huh?" she added with a bit of a chuckle.

Calix laughed at Enid's pouting and looked over at the door. He noticed Arissa walking in and a boy he didn't recognize. "Hey Arissa, good to see you again." Calix said. He looked over at the new boy who was introducing himself as Dimitri. "Ah, a new kid! Good to meet you! I'm Calix Farraday, psychometrist." The poor boy was surrounded by people now. He was probably getting claustrophobic.

Arissa grinned at her friend's hug and then turned to watch as Delilah lectured Enid. "Come now girls... its only our first day!" she said with a laugh. It was wonderful to be among her friends again- it was almost like she hadn't left.

Dimitri smiled at the praise of the two women. "Thank you," he said, and slipped the plant into his pocket. He would have to place it within some dirt soon- but for now it would be okay. He laughed softly as Enid asked about his garden. "You might say that," he said with a slow nod. "There's certainly a lot more variety than what our neighbors have... but they don't get to see most of it," he said with a mysterious smile.

"Calix!" Arissa exclaimed as she smiled at the boy. "Its good to see you... did you have a good summer?" she asked him.

Dimitri looked up as another voice entered the mix. "Dimitri Woods," he said with a nod. At the mention of the boy's power, he frowned slightly. "Psychometrist... what is that?" he asked him, quite curious at the new word. Dimitri glanced at the crowd that had gathered around him, and took a hesitant step back. He was unused to this attention and it was a bit overwhelming.

Calix turned towards Arissa. "Uh, yeah, it was a pretty good summer. How was yours?" Calix asked, eager to get off the subject of his summer. He didn't have great relations with his family, and he didn't like to talk about them. In fact, he'd never really told anyone much about his family; he preferred it that way.

He looked over at Dimitri, who was asking about his power. Right, the boy probably didn't know much about other powers. "Oh, right. Psychometry... it's, well, basically, when I touch an object, I can see its history. Where it's been, who's touched it, and the like. Nice power by the way." Calix said. He had seen Dimitri growing a plant suddenly. Calix envied Dimitri's control over his power. Though Calix was able to NOT see an object's history at will, he still hadn't been able to control it enough to where he COULD see the history at will. More practice, he supposed. Getting a bit nervous in general, Calix said loudly enough to be heard, "Alright, come on. Let's give the boy some space. He needs to breathe, people."

"And I have telekinesis. It's totally harmless, just don't get me angry." Delilah giggled. She had hit people so many times on accident last year. At least she had practiced over the summer and that book hadn't harmed anyone earlier. Delilah's eyes grew wide when Demitri grew a daisy suddenly."That's amazing!" she complimented on his power.

"Dimitri! What a pleasant name!" Coheed rung out. A smile beemed up at the new boy. Did he feel welcomed, or just huddled and uncomfortable. With a quick pop into his head, she could feel the awkwardness wash over her, from him.

"Now now boys and girls, we ought to give him some space though. Don't wanna kill the poor kid on his first day."

When Delilah heard what Coheed said she stepped back."You're the mind reader." she said and sat down in a chair. She saw a book on the history of the Deumont House on the shelf behind her a brought it to herself. It dropped onto the table beside her and she opened it up and began reading.

Matt smiled as he hugged Arissa and giggled slightly. He turned to Dimitri and shook his hand. "Hello Dimitri. Good to meet you!" He said cheerfully trying to make him feel as welcome as possible. He listened as he explained his powers. It was an interesting one. He always loved to hear about the others powers, but they were all so much easier to cope with that his own. Which made him sad. Matt looked at Coheed and laughed at her little comment she made.

Arissa winced as she remembered how Calix didn't like talking about his family. "Sorry," she said with a slight smile. "Mine was fairly good- I found a few more pets..." she said with a slight grin. "Although, my mom wasn't too happy about the wolf that followed me home about halfway through the summer," she added with a laugh.

Dimitri nodded in understanding and smiled in thanks. Well, he now knew what one person's power was- but the rest were still a mystery. He let out an inaudible sigh of relief as Calix hinted that everyone should back off of him. He gave the boy a small nod of thanks and stepped out from the group once more. It was one thing to stand within a grove of trees- but they at least didn't talk and ask questions.

"Yes, getting her angry isn't the best idea," Arissa said with a laugh. "We were debating once at the dinner table and I was getting rice out of my hair for days!" she said with a grin. "I'm a shapeshifter," she explained with a smile. "Any animal, any time... unless there isn't room. I broke a table last year!" she said with a laugh.

Dimitri chuckled at the two girls. "Your powers sounds quite cool," he said with a nod to Delilah. And he grinned at Arissa as she described her own. "Well, our powers should get along quite well then," he said quietly.

Arissa turned to see Coheed and grinned. "There you are!" she said, bounding over to give her friend a hug. "I was beginning to wonder if you had moved on to bigger better things," she said with a laugh.

Dimitri nodded once in thanks to the girl that had praised his name. And smiled in slight relief as she told everyone to back off. This was certainly going to be an interesting year. Everyone seemed to know one another so well, and powers just seemed to be used with little regard for reactions from the others. That would be nice.


Arissa smiled at Blake and gave a nod of hello. "Hey Blake! How are you?" she asked with a bright smile.

Dimitri smiled softly at the next boy to introduce himself. "Dimitir," he said with a nod.

Dimitri nodded in response and smiled after he had finished explaining his powers. No judgments, no criticisms... no cries that he was a freak. He was going to like it here already.

Alexx stood with her friends, laughing and smiling at what they were saying. Now she'd only realised how much she'd missed her friends and the things they did. She thought of her brother for a short while wondering what he was doing, without her. Her smile faded as she thought of him, he looked so upset when she left him and they weren't used to being far apart the only time they were was when she was here. She could write to him, she thought. She smiled quickly hoping the others didn't notice and wondered were the Headmaster might be.

Colleen shook her head slightly, clearing her head from her rambling thoughts. "Okay, the plan is set. Once we find the Headmaster's secret, we go to the kitchen at midnight for a celebratory snack!" Colleen declared, giggling. When Arissa arrived in the room with a new boy named Dimitri, she kept her seat while everyone ran over. Once the cloud of people cleared a little, Colleen ran over to Arissa. "Hey stranger! Decided to show up, huh?" She laughed and gave her friend a hug. "Missed ya!" She then turned to the quiet boy standing next to her. She heard his power, (which she happened to be extemely jealous over!) and greeted him with a heart-warming smile. "Colleen O'Callaghan, so nice to meet you!" She told him, tucking a strand of dark brown hair behind her ear. "Oh, and I can affect peoples moods based on my mood. Y'know, like, if I'm really happy than you probably will be too. I'm also getting a little control over the weather, the same way though. Only affected by my mood." She stated this last part with a bit of a humph, knowing her power might seem a little more impressive if her mood wasn't a factor.
