Violet was still annoyed, she didn't trust her siblings ... much. She trusted them a bit but not lots. She was getting tired of standing still, and wearing the itching dress she was wearing, it was horrible, if she didn't have a rash when she got changed she would be rather surprised. she mumbled darkly, she was annoyed and starting to scratch her tummy where it was most itching. She was still looking at the person she wanted, she seemed different, Violet just couldn't put her finger on what was different |

Yes Antonin was finished. She smiled, her turn would be coming soon. He was flirting with a maid. Goodness, if Mama saw him doing that he would be written out of the inheritance! She tisked softly and looked away from the sight. But she was secretly happy because to her it seemed that her brother, Antonin, was exactly what you'd call a ladies man. Julia looked at Taylor. She raised an eyebrow. "Really? Shopping would be fun right now! If we don't get chosen, mind if I come too?" she exclaimed, she needed some new clothes.. "Wow. I actually came out here, myself. You see I use to be a movie star when I was eighteen but then it all went down hill. As you can probably see." The older sister gave her a cold stare. She leaned over to Taylor. "Goodness, there taking a long time." she whispered, softly, starting to get impatient. |
The bottom of the barrel. That's what she got and always would get. But what had she expected? Some amazing 15 year-old boy? Yeah, right. And like he'd choose her. With all the other beautiful girls -no, women, here. Her stomach lurched, the cute little girl who appeared about 5 or 6 wanted the Freya girl. She wouldn't be babysitting. Wait, so that left her with... |
SPOILER!!: Iris, Marie Sigh. Women. "Yes, but there's not many people like that. Someone who has a strong personality likes to show it." Patrick rolled his eyes, like him for example. He was strong on the inside, and wanted to show the world how awesome he was. Once Antonin picked, Patrick smirked to himself. FINALLY. "Right, I'm choosing now." He declared, eyeing Freya up and down. Atleast he was quicker than his older brother. Strangely, Patrick could tell that Freya was a muggleborn, and he could really have some fun with that. He beckoned over to him with a slight smirk and kissed her hand when she approached. "Patrick Delamere, pleasure to meet you." Usually he would have scowled and wouldn't have dared to touch her, but he had been told that he had to be friendly, regardless. |
Violet reacted immediately "NO!!! YOU CAN'T HAVE HER I ALREADY DIBSED HER" she yelled stubbornly trying (but failing) to pull her brother away. She didn't care if she got in trouble, no one goes against Violet's word unless they want pure 6 year old torture, which Violet was very good at giving. She was sure some one would pull her away soon enough and tell her she was being a stubborn prat, but she didn't care she was going to try at least. And plus Violet wasn't good at making a second choice, she didn't like it, it made her feel small and never good enough for the first pick |
Violet stop! Laura called with command in her voice and picked her up, pulling her away from her brother, she knelt down to her, you do not bring down the front just becuase you can't get what you want! You will pick another one and you will be quiet! she said spoke firmly, she didn't like getting annoyed with her sister, but she had to on this occasion, she turned away from her sister and turned her eyes back to her new boy |
Patrick rolled his eyes and let go of the girl's hand. He did used to jump at Violet's loud outbursts. But now, they were so common, he was always expecting one. "God, you are a loud witch." - excuse the pun. "I'll pick someone else. You can keep your soon to be chew toy." He shrugged at Freya, knowing that she was going to get ripped to pieces by the little girl. Patrick waved a hand at Laura. "No, it's fine. I'll pick another. Otherwise I'll have her on my back for the rest of the bloody year." He then noticed another girl who seemed perfectly capable, and this time a pureblood. He raised his eyebrows at her [Julia], to symbolize 'Please come here.' |
Laura couldn't help but smirk, it was true, Violet often held grudges for months, if he had taken her servant she would go on for years, long after she was gone, but at least Violet wouldn't be too loud now or angry |
Violet still wasn't happy, she had gotten what she wanted sure, but she still didn't like the fact that he had even tried to take the one she dibsed. "I won't chew her, that's just gross" she said under her breathe folding her arms, she was grateful but generally annoyed, why was she the youngest? and always had to listen to her siblings? craziness. But they had made the right decision, Violet had a nasty temper that lasted for ages. Now she felt kind of embarrassed, she had completely humiliated herself by acting like a stuck up prat, meh she was 6, wasn't she. "I promise I don't bite" she said to Freya, she might as well start some where in making herself seem more mature then any normal six year old. |
Hmph Laura muttered, maybe not strangers, she murmered thinking of the bite mark she had on her arm from earlier in the day, now no one will pick her so you can be quiet, capeesh? she said to her sister |
Violet glared at Laura "thats what you get for carrying me" she said darkly, she only bit people who carried her. But Violet was in a better mood, it was almost impossible for Violet to be in a good mood, so better was a good place to start. and she hoped her siblings realised that she was getting Freya, no one else "I was being quiet, until..." the rest was under her breath as she started scratching the itching spot on her tummy again |
Victoria still wasn't sure what to do with herself. She inched slightly further away and decided to just play it quiet. She'd get stuck with someone, no- someone would get stuck with her. Maybe they'd just decide she was to young and kick her out, but that didn't seem right. She started to not mind who will choose her; the Delemares themselves were cool in an eerie mysterious way. It definitely wouldn't be like home, that's for sure. |

Taylor nodded. "I know! I don't mind at all, we can like, totally bond with my bestie Ann," she said. But she had to wait for this to be over. This was going to take forever. Oh, wasn't violet eyes a bit touchy, with the cold look and all. Hmph. "And I have a feeling it's only going to take longer," she huffed. Quote:

Dozer stood leaning against the wall next to Damon. Antonin had already made his pick being the oldest male of the family. He had picked the cloaked one with the glowing eyes. He watched as she pulled back her hood and Dozer had to marvel at her. Antonin had made a great choice. Then of course the girls started bickering. Little Violet got violent with Patrick. He should have known to leave the girl alone if Violet had her eyes on her. Running a hand through his hair he looked over the remaining people. He noticed two of the girls in the back talking animatedly. One of them was pretty and the way she talked made him smile. Straightening up from the wall he sauntered over to her [Taylor] and bowed. "My lady. Would you do me the esteemed honor of being mine?" Dozer cringed at having to call her servant so he refrained from doing so. As much as he didn't want to be here he was going to do things his way. Antonin and the others might have something to say but he didn't really care. He extended his hand to her ever the gentlemen. |
Ah so Dozer was done, so only a few more till Richard and then her good self, and Iris would not get her boy, she would make sure of that, and she could argue all she wanted but Laura would not give in, she was far too strong willed for that |
Taylor tried her best not to moan in dissatisfaction. Why couldn't she not be picked? She tried her best to say no, but her parents would disinherit her and she was not going to do without her fortune. She gave the Delemare sibling a forced smile. "Of course," she said, she tried not to clench her teeth, "It would be my pleasure.". Nooo. There went her shopping plans! She curtsied back, as it was common manners for her. But still. Her shopping plans... in Paris! Taylor took his hand, stupid stupid her. She wanted shopping in Paris, not slaving away for the rest of whatever life. This was the end of her life wasn't it? Paris... clothes... shopping. All that was gone. |
Quote:
Dozer leaned down close so that only she could hear, "I'm Dozer by the way. I didn't catch your name." |
Taylor flashed a quick pleading look at Julia before following the guy to wherever he was going. She didn't want to be here and she felt a pit in her stomach as she thought about what she was giving up. Luxury. She wasn't going to have someone wait on her anymore, she was going to be the person waiting on the others. No! She was not going to deal with it. He was a bit too close for her liking but she was going to have to deal. That's what servants did, they dealt with it. "Taylor Flint," Taylor said. Why her? |
Quote:
Dai then followed his brother's glance towards a girl who seemed to have sparked his interest. Damon smirked. So easily distracted by a mysterious girl. But a servant girl nonetheless. "I haven't made a decision yet. As long as i get a female, it doesn't really matter to me." he shrugged. It truly didn't bother him. Sliding up the wall a bit, Damon shifted his attention back towards his brother. "I don't care for this much. It bores me to no end." he replied. What was the point of choosing a servant? They'd all end up with power in the end. What did it really matter? Cole reached the bottom of the hill, unsure of what was happening. Servants were gathered in a group and the Delameres stood opposite. One Delamere, who seemed to be the oldest, looked as though he were making some sort of decision while the rest, except for a select few, were waiting eagerly behind him. How.. peculiar. Colton glanced around the group as decisions were being made, servants being chosen and flirted with, but he himself was unsure as to where he would end up. Rather, who he would end up with. Deciding it was best to keep his mouth shut, he took a step forward towards the house, hoping to be chosen eventually. |

Marie turned to Iris. "Now I have to choose someone!" she said to her sister. She looked at the guys and quickly pointed at the handsome man [Fabien]. He was cute and seemed a little bit older than herself. "I think I'll choose him." she said and giggled a little. "What do you think?" she asked her sister. |
Laura looked at her sister Marie, who was pointing at her man, she was going to pick him, and if she didn't get him, there would be hell to pay, Laura did not settle for second best, although that one that had just a tiny step towards the villa did look rather fit hmmm, decisions, decisions |

"And your name, Miss?" Patrick could tell that this girl was the type who did as she told, and he liked that. However, if he were to need her in the situations he gets into, she would have to break some of the rules and help him, whatever the costs. She seemed fit enough to do that. |

Dozer gave her a charming smile as she gave him her name. Taylor. It fit her. She still seemed a little ill at ease but at this point he didn't know how to fix that. After thinking about it he would probably be just as squeemish if he was in her place. "Don't worry. This won't be as bad as you think it will be." He gave her what he hoped was a reassuring wink. It was true though. She was lucky she hadn't been chosen by one of his other siblings. Quote:
It was true that this whole song and dance was a little on the boring side but Antonin was always one for the dramatic. This whole stage song and dance thing was getting old fast. He looked down at Taylor and felt a small tinge of remorse but tamped it down quickly. There was no use in getting upset over everything, nothing would change what was going to happen. |

Was she the only one who didn't care if her servant was male or female? Perhaps. Just like she was probably the only one who'd give an arm and a leg to be finishing her book, visiting the horses, or playing tennis right now. She wasn't even sure at this point, if it was her turn yet; what order were they going in, again? Oldest to youngest? What? The girl scanned the crowd of servants then, noting that there were barely any girls left at this point, and turned her gaze back toward her siblings, watching the way some of them exchanged not-so-friendly glances. "Laura, you're the oldest girl," said Edith a bit suddenly and unexpectedly, since she wasn't one to talk much. "Have you taken your pick yet?" She raised a blonde eyebrow at her sister before noting that Marie seemed to have already chosen a servant. But she was seventeen, weren't she and Laura supposed to go before her? Oh Merlin, why was this so confusing? Well, if they were going to just randomly pick without a specific order, then she'd better choose a servant quickly. Edith returned her green-eyed gaze to the servants then, eyeing the ones who had not yet been chosen. It was then that she noted a girl about fourteen years in age, one that was unusually quiet and seemed terribly nervous to be here. "You," she said to Violet. "C'mere," she ordered simply, gesturing to the girl with her wand, which had almost set someone on fire earlier. Edith was a bit of a danger when she was treating her wand so carelessly. Quote:
But it was then, in the middle of his observations, that he caught sight of one of the Delamere girls pointing in his direction, something which got his dark eyebrows to raise slightly in mild surprise. What, was he being chosen already? He wasn't sure, as the girl hadn't quite indicated he could approach her just yet, and though she pointed in his direction he could see that she was addressing one of her sisters instead. Huh. He opted best to remain at his place for now, until he received some sort of command from one of the Delameres, though he gave a brief nod of his head at the girl and the faintest hint of a polite smile on his lips, not wanting to be rude when a pretty girl of such high status was taking notice of him, though he had no way of knowing whether this acknowledgement had been a good or a bad thing. |
Quote:
Patrick gently put his arm around to symbolize that no one else could choose her. Fact. "Now, my dear; you do realise that being picked by me is probably one of the greatest things that happened to you. You could have been picked by her...-" He signalled with his head over to the little Delamere, and chuckled lightly. He still felt sorry for the girl who Violet had picked. "...However, you do promise to be devoted to me right? Because, I picked you becuase I feel you to be the one most loyal and, of course, charming ones here." Quote:

<3 SPOILER!!: Sonja Antonin smirked as the girl played right into his charms. "Sonja," he said, kissing her delicate hand before pulling away. "It is, I assure you. But you'll see that soon enough, I suppose. In the meantime, let us watch the spectacle my younger siblings make of this all. It should be... amusing. You are quite lucky you were picked first. By me." And, even though it was partially his ego talking, he was pretty sure being fought over was not something Sonja would want. At least, not between Patrick and Violet. No one wanted to be Violet's choice... that was certain. Who would want to look after her, as opposed to the gentle, mischievous wooing he or his brothers and other sisters would offer? SPOILER!!: Okaaaaay then... Freya's first instinct, when the male Delamere snatched her up, was a shudder (of disgust), a little vomiting in her mouth, and the slightest spike of hormones. He was handsome, yes, but truly revolting to her. Like the corpse of Adonis, he was beautiful, but completely untouchable as well. And then, as she blushed (angrily, she assured herself), the small Delamere opened her big mouth... and sealed Freya's fate as a babysitter. Lovely... She would have to deal with that demon. Why did she want her, anyway? "I don't suppose I have a say in this," she grunted, glowering as her hair was blown into her face. Just don't stick me with that... thing. I'll be chewed apart like one of her little dollies. In Freya's opinion, small purebloods were the worst of them all. Little devils in the rough. Eww. Luciandus stood, still watching as they went down the line, picking and bickering aimlessly. Was this all they cared about, getting the one servant they wanted? Could they not all serve together, instead of sectioning off to separate, domestic Hells? Could they not stand together and act civil? Was it really beyond their abilities to cooperate? How he was loathing this, bit by bit.... Luc wasn't beyond domestic services, but he couldn't stand the selfishness and idiocy these Delameres were spewing from the agape mouths. Even if they were such mysteriously beautiful people. |
All the girls around Ava-Mercy had been picked, and now, although she stood alone, no one looked at her- even the handsome one who had before now looked on the one the eldest had chosen. She sighed. Maybe it was a good thing. The men approached the women in a way that was... creepy. Really creepy. But she felt... jealous? No. Of course not. Because she didn't come here to be a toy, she had come here to... She edged toward the back. Instinct was telling her to leave. But something else entirely told her to stay. To stay and be part of it. She closed her eyes, and felt confused. If they didn't pick her, she would just go home. Yeah. She was overreacting. And even as that thought went through her head, she felt her fingers go self consciously through her short, dark waves of hair. She had never thought appearance mattered. Was she wrong? Ava-Mercy jerked her hand out of her hair, and looked back up at the Delameres rebelliously. She had never once given a damn about appearance- there were more important things in life. She saved an especially defiant glare for the one who looked at her, and then away, at a girl who was far prettier. They would not make her feel this way. She came here to help them, dammit. She would not stray from that path, they would not change that aim. |

"no not really" Violet said happily, she wasn't happy though. All of her siblings knew she hated dolls, she thought they were stupid and insignificant pieces of plastic. "but really, would you rather be with him?" she asked raising an eyebrow. Violet felt as though all these stupid people that had come here thought she, Violet Delamere, was just another ordinary 6 year old, no Violet was much more intelligent than any 6 yr old, and she was mature... most of the time. She hated dresses and dolls, and anything that most 6 yr olds like, she had read extremely thick books and she was pure hell if you annoyed her enough |
Quote:
He gave her another charming smile. He might not be able to set her completely at ease but he was hoping to at least help her relax a little. She seemed to be from a well to do family so he was curious as to why she was here. He could tell by her cloths and well kept hair that she was used to the best in life, so why had she decided to become a servant for hire. It was a mystery and an interesting one at that. "So, why are you here if you don't mind my asking." Quote:
With a soft sigh she followed him to the outskirts of the crowd. She would be stuck to him like glue from here on out. The thought made her queezy. Sweeping back her long blond hair she had to fight the urge to pull her hood back up over her head. Placing her hands resolutely at her sides she looked up at Antonin with a cool calculating stare. "So, at this point what should I expect as my duties and what shall I call you? Sir? Master?" You highness? She kept that last bit to herself but hadn't managed to keep all of the sarcasm from her voice. This was completely humiliating. Her only saving grace was that no one from her previous life would be here. Shoving thoughts of the past from her mind she went back to studying her new employer. |
A fierce looking girl came up to her with a hand out and a six year old close in tail. That was odd. But she smiled anyway, sure it didn't reach her eyes. "I suppose. I've never felt so... vunerable." She said, honestly. "And I have the feeling..." She muted her voice until only the girl could hear it. "That this isn't going to be what I signed up for. I mean... I wanted to come... heal souls, do volunteer work. And all of a sudden I feel like a-" She let the word drop off, blushing. "I'm Ava Mercy Estrella Moncur. You can pick and use any one of those names, though my first name is Ava-Mercy. If I ever need them, on the upside, I have quite a few aliases." |
Quote:
Then he asked why she was here. Taylor wasn't exactly sure of it. "If I knew the answer, I would tell you," she said honestly. She didn't want to be here, she wanted to go to Milan, Korea, New York, she wanted to go shopping. But no, her parents stuck her up with this or else disinheritance and she wanted her fortune!! |

Finally an honest answer. Well, it was an answer that got him even more curious. She was her for a reason and she had to have some idea why. "Did your parents leave you here?" She was well dressed and well kept which hinted at money and there was only a few reasons that a rich girl would be doing service for another. Well only a few that he knew of. Quote:
She gave him a small shy smile. "Sonja will do." There was something happening here, something she couldn't quite put her finger on. She sighed internally and went back to surveying the rest of the Delamere siblings. Though, she couldn't keep from shooting occasional glances at Antonin. "You still haven't told me what I should expect of my duties." |
Quote:
|
Ava-Mercy blinked a few times. There was something wrong about this girl. Not wrong, no- more like... knowing. Freya knew more then she let on, and kept just as many secrets. She watched the other girl's eyes narrow at her last name. No surprise. Her parents had gone somewhere untraceable, abandoning her to her mansion- and the Moncurs hadn't been heard of in a while. She wrapped her arms around herself protectively from the chill coming off the girl, and her expression was genuine- warm. "If I can't do it... Isn't that all the more reason to try?" She asked, with a passionate sort of sadness. "I'm not... naive. But have you ever been told something is impossible, and felt the need to accomplish it all the more?" Her Irish eyes lit knowingly. |
Quote:
"You will not do such menial things as cleaning," Antonin answered calmly. "I do not expect that of you. Instead, you will cater to my personal needs. More of a secretary than a mere servant. I, after all, take care of the family business. Investments, you see. You will do everything I find necessary at the last moment, rather than routinely tasks. It is not as explainable as it seems. Do not worry... it won't be tough work. I wouldn't ask that of any pureblood, nevermind a beautiful one. Mustn't disgrace blood lines, of course." Quote:
|
Ava-Mercy simply looked at her. The girl she thought was going to be friend- who understood- was being so... standoffish. She sighed. Aren't you batting a thousand tonight? Not picked, Alienating your only sympathizer? She struggled to keep her expression smooth as that little voice inside antagonized her. "I'm sorry if I have offended you." She said quietly, truly meaning it. She turned away, and whispered to herself the familiar lines, hoping they would help calm her mind. "If we spirits have offended, think but this, and all is mended... That you have but slumbered here, while these visions did appear. And of this weak and idle theme, no more yielding then a dream..." |
Quote:
Freya blinked down at the little girl. So she spoke... without throwing a tantrum. That was a blatant first for a little pureblood. "I don't as much care," she said, almost lying. She didn't want to.. belong... to any of them. "I don't see why you would fight over me. Does it matter who any of you get?" Quote:
|
"Alright. I can't stay I understand, but it will be as you wish. I'm not doing at all well tonight, am I?" She grinned nodded to the girl and the Delameres in turn, making them equal, on the same plane. It was an unnecessarily snarky thing to do. But she was sick of the games everyone here seemed to play. She bobbed a small curtsy, and moved away. |

He was trying to get to know her on a personal level. Showing interest in her name and calling her beautiful. Sonja had a small twinge of something as she thought about that. No one had ever called her beautiful. Slapping herself mentally she shoved those emotions away, they were dangerous to dwell on. Clasping her hands in front of her, she looked up at Antonin. "It's Russian and Scandinavian. It means Wisdom. Antonin, that's french isn't it?" Sonja put a small amount of interest into her voice but also kept it light. Her eyes roamed over everyone in the backyard staying resolutely away from him. She had a definite air of nonchalance and sophisticated businesslike detachment. She would have to keep that level of detachment if she wanted to keep her head. Antonin was already trying to worm his way under her skin. |

Sonja gave Antonin a small smile though inside she was trying to remain as ice. More flattery and smooth words. Lovely. She hadn't met any of his other siblings so she couldn't really be the judge. "Being the oldest they had to give you a strong name. I approve." Not that he needed or wanted her approval but she certainly didn't want to get started on the wrong foot. This would be easier if they could establish a friendly working relationship. Dozer couldn't keep the smile from his face. Like any typical girl she was obsessed with shopping and any well to do wizard or witch with money knew that Paris was the best place for shopping. Well, that was good to know. Maybe he could win her over that way. A few ideas formed in his head but his thoughts were distracted as she asked where she would be staying. "You and the others will be staying in the house. Most likely in a room close to me." |
Quote:
Taylor nodded in understanding. At least they weren't being stuck into something like a closet, that was good. "Sounds nice," she said. She still preferred her own bed, all purple, the color of royalty and white. She would miss her perfect room and not to mention that gigantic walk in closet with the gold doors. Ugh. Stupid parents making her do this. Her closet was going to miss her too!! And her clothes! Taylor had no more questions, so she remained silent. Oh, the joys of being a servant. She wasn't even really one yet and she felt like she was going to hate it. |

Patrick ignored the snide comment jabbed towards him from his littlest sister. Meh, he had started it, and he shouldn't have been surprised that she was going to throw it right back in his face. He turned back to Julia. "Not at all. If I want you to be loyal and respect me, I have to respect you, right?" That would soon change in a matter of days. However, he felt the need to butter her up ever so slightly, so as to gain her trust before asking her to do anything dangerous. Because that what he loved doing the most; dangerous things. Patrick glanced in the direction of Dozer, and smirked. He sounded like he was doing more than what he was doing. Dozer made it sound like his servant was a royal guest or something. That would only make it even harder for him to boss her around. "C'mon Dozer, don't spoil her." I'm sure she's already uncomfortable. Just like all the other servants were. But, not surprisingly, Patrick was relaxed. He was now itching to go back inside. The cold breeze blew up Patrick's blazer sleeves and gave a tiny cold shiver, this was not the look he was hoping to achieve, he didn't want to be cold on the inside AND on the outside. "So, Julia." He smiled as warmly as he could, failing slightly. "Why are you here? Dropped off by parents like the rest of 'em?" |

For now. |
Taylor looked around. What if she was going to be a servant for the rest of her life here? Then her parents wouldn't need to give her the inheritance... so maybe it was planned by her parents in the first place. Those sneaky, lying- ugh! She wanted to run right home and shout in their faces for making her do this in the first place. And if a single knut of her inheritance went to her cousin she would be absolutely livid. Taylor flipped her hair over her shoulder. This was a new type of hell for her, wasn't it? The first one being Hogwarts. |

Although, Patrick was a never fair person himself. He laughed at the lighthearted fun. However, if Dozer were serious, it would be a very different laugh all together. "Nah. Ava-Mercy had turned away, but she still watched, discreetly, listening to Freya speak to the little girl. Coldly, enticingly. Her words contrasted shockingly with her words. What she was selling- purebloodedness- was not the same as what she was pitching- pure submission. A girl like that... it made very little sense that she was here when she seemed to have come in with antagonism. Something clicked. And in a rush, she knew- not everything, but enough. Enough to know that the game the fierce girl played could get her thrown onto the streets, or... much worse. And though Freya was antagonistic at best, she did not deserve that. Ava-Mercy slid discreetly sideways until she stood protectively in front of the other girl, hoping Freya wouldn't notice. She squared her dainty shoulders, maintaining her aforementioned defiant looks at the siblings- one in particular, so that it didn't look as if anything changed. |

Julia shivered slightly, she hoped that she would go inside soon. Why couldn't they all hurry up? "Well Patrick. My parents did suggest to come here, because my other job didn't exactly work out. I was in the movie buissness." she said. She paused a minute, she wanted to say enough about her. "So what house were you in at Hogwarts?" she asked. He seemed pretty familiar. Maybe they had been in the same house. |
Quote:
"What an excellent choice your parents made, love." Patrick said, quite relieved that she had came on her own accord, and not because of pushy parents. Patrick raised his eyebrow. Now, from what he could remember, 'movies' were a muggle thing; he didn't like that. But, if Julia was in the business of said institution, he should look interested. "Oh really? ... umm, I'm not really sure what that entails. But, what was your part in the movies?" To be honest, he was a little interested. He had always tried not to be, as not really liking muggle society, but how could you not be interested when his own personal servant had had a career in that field? "Hogwarts? Ahh. I graduated there about ... 8 years a go?" Patrick sighed. He couldn't believe it had been so long. "And I was in Slytherin of course. I mean, it was the most ambitious. What about yourself, dear?" |

Patrick's reply had been playful but he could tell that his brother was getting protective of his new toy. He certainly didn't feel like getting into it over something as simple as a servant so Dozer didn't push the issue. His attention was caught momentarily as Taylor's blond hair was flipped over her shoulder. He grinned in amusement. Something had obviously gotten her frustrated but he didn't know what. He wasn't sure he wanted to know. Sonja listened to Antonin's explanation but remained still and passive. She didn't quite have anything to add to the conversation so she kept her peace. She was slightly amazed at his level of arrogance and ego. He thought himself the king of this family, perhaps even the king of the world. How am I supposed to handle him? Sighing inwardly, she appraised him once again. She might have called him a little crazy but the word seemed to mild for him. Well, this is where she had ended up so she might as well learn to deal. Which probably meant she should say something at least. "I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure you are fully capable of taking care of your family in their place and I am now here to assist in anyway that I can." Her tone was neutral and devoid of emotion. Completely business like. |
Taylor was getting tired of waiting. "Can we go yet? It's not exactly fun standing out here waiting for everyone to decide," she huffed. Taylor probably shouldn't have said it like that, she was in no position to make demands but right now she could care less. It was quiet, it was getting late and she did not like standing out here waiting for everyone else to pick. People waited for her, she didn't wait for people. But now that had changed to, and not for the better. |

Dozer shook his head. He knew this wasn't the greatest thing to be doing but it was necessary. They didn't really have a choice. "I'm sorry but we can't leave until everyone has picked and Antonin gives the all clear." He didn't like it anymore then she did but it wasn't something he could change. He wouldn't risk upsetting Antonin, not so soon after getting back home. Well, if that didn't tell her everything she needed to know nothing else would have. Sonja shook her head and ran her hand up and down her arms a few times. The night was wearing on and all of the siblings had yet to choose. Shifting her weight from foot to foot a couple of times to relieve some muscle aches, Sonja folded her arms neatly behind her back. Taking a deep breath, Sonja gave a wry smile that faded as quickly as it came. "No need to thank me." I have no where else to go. |
Taylor would normally just throw a tantrum and storm off somewhere but she couldn't, and that was crap. It meant she had to wait. She let out an irritated sigh. "Whatever, this is so stupid," she sighed. Ugh. It was ridiculous and she was pretty sire Dozer didn't want to stay standing out here anyways so why not just leave? Ugh. And double ugh. This is why she liked Paris: it wasn't here. |

His servant was once recentely an actress; and to be honest he didn't care whether she had suceeded or not, because it still meant she had talent. "Good girl." Patrick's arm was still around her shoulders, and he squeezed her a little before deciding it would be best to face her, if they were to talk. Patrick was 6 foot, and it wasn't unusual for him to be taller than most people, and Julia was no exception. The way in which she changed the subject, and a smiled had sparked up on her pretty face, suggested that she was attending Hogwarts the same time as he, however, he most probably didn't recognize her, considering he didn't talk to anyone younger than himself. "Yes; anything in which I could potentially win money. Though my favourite game is poker. Why?" Patrick remembered that he used to play cards a lot at school. None of his friends were ever brave enough to play poker with him in secret, so he had to wait until he was old enough, or find dodgy places of his own accord. |

She smiled. "I agree, I'm glad I left. It was a weird place and the people who I worked with were backstabbers." she said sharply. 'Pretend' friends trying to steal your boyfriend. Yes, Julia had dealt with it all. Julia, felt safe again, and she barely knew him. She listened to what Patrick had to say about himself. Gosh he was tall, he towered over her by almost six inches or maybe even more. Julia was 5'6 ft without heels. With Heels she could be any height. "Ahh.. A Poker fan? I don't know you just seem like the type of guy to play cards. I play a bit of Poker." she said, and she was pretty good at it, but she wasn't going to say anything about it. She gave him a pretty smile. |

Though, every time Antonin mentioned something about etiquette she seemed to remember a little more. Sonja was confident that before long everything else would come back to her. " I'm curious to know where we shall be staying, the other...employees and myself that is." She couldn't bring herself to use the word servant, it was just too degrading when said out loud. Though Antonin had assured her that she wouldn't be doing any laborious tasks, he had called it more secretarial work. She could handle that, maybe she could start using that label? |

Patrick nodded in approval. He was VERY glad he'd picked her now, she was a poker player. However, he had a funny feeling he wouldn't be playing with her anytime soon. "The ... type of guy?" This was strange, Patrick had never EVER given off a vibe that would suggest a personality trait to anyone, or not at least he did it on purpose. "I see." He frowned, a little annoyed that he'd left his guard down. Patrick turned slightly to face other siblings, servants and wat have you and quickly changed the subject, avoiding Julia's eyes. "We going in yet?" He said to himself, and anyone who wished to shed some light on the subject. |

She noticed he frowned and looked down. He turned away. She stayed silent and waited for the answer, she wanted to go inside. Marie turned to her brother. She shook her head. "Probably not anytime soon because our eighteen year old siblings haven't chosen anyone yet. I've already made up my mind." she said to him, disappointed that her siblings were taking so long. She paused for a minute. Maybe her brother could help her?, she thought. She beamed him a nice smile, thinking of what she would ask him. |
Iris had decided. "I choose him," she said with a smile as she pointed at the boy [Colton]. Hehe. He was cute!! Yup and he was now hers. Perfect. Iris had a satisfied smirk on her face. She had finally chosen and knew that her siblings were probably tired of waiting as well. No matters, she had chosen who she wanted and now it was time for her next sibling to decide. All thanks to her lovely younger sister of course that she had been able to decide. |

"Oh really?" Patrick may have known him, but he didn't really care. |

She nodded her head. "Yeah, but I never see him know. He moved to Australia." she explained. She missed her brother, he was like her best friend. |

Well, whatever he had to dish she could certainly handle. Sonja hadn't failed to see the look he had given her when she had asked yet another question. She couldn't see where he could blame her though. He hadn't been forth coming with the information so she had had to do the next best thing. "I apologize if I'm asking too many questions. I do appreciate your honesty and the information." She hadn't missed his description of the room she would occupy either. Nice and expansive. Sonja had to struggle not to roll her eyes. Nice was in the eye of the beholder and expansive wasn't always better. She of all people should know that. However, she had learned all that she needed to for the moment so she fell silent. Now, it's just a waiting game. |

SPOILER!!: Dozer, Patrick & Iris OOC: So, i have no idea who is available and who is taken... So... PM me if you're charrie is still free i guess. Damon glanced over at his brothers. Both had chosen females. But of course, Dai was quite unsure as to who to pick. He knew that he wanted a female as well, but in the end, it truly wouldn't matter. He nodded after being told by both brothers to choose quickly. But he still hadn't made up his mind. And what did it matter? In the end, they would all get about the same amount of power. Did it truly matter if it came from male of female? Shaking his head, trying to pick between the two whom he had noticed particularly, he closed his eyes and began to think... Colton glanced around unsure as to who would pick him. And he was getting rather nervous by it all. He didn't want to be the last one to be chosen, he wanted to talk and flirt and feel comfortable again. Glancing around the room again, one female Delamere caught his eye and she was... smiling at him? He grinned back at her. |

Taylor was sick of standing out here. Gosh, more siblings chose. Could they like... go inside now? This was utterly ridiculous! Merlin! The people who had chosen already should just go inside! You know, like she should go in too! They couldn't really make her- actually, yes they could. They could make her stand out here for days if they wanted. She let out a frustrated sigh. Stupid parents making her do this. "Can we go inside yet?" Taylor said impatiently. |

Smiling, the young man made his way through the few servants that were left, coming to a halt a couple steps before the much shorter and younger girl. He gave a short, formal bow to the girl before returning to his full 6'2" height and speaking, "Fabien Westernberg. It's a pleasure to serve you..." he trailed off then, realizing he didn't know the girl's name; at least not her first name. He raised a dark eyebrow slightly, a little expectantly, the smile on his lips polite as he waited for her to share her name with him. Meanwhile, Edith was growing only more and more bored with the situation. Her brothers had all chosen their servants already, there were only one or two of her sisters left, and she had already made her choice. So, what was keeping her from heading back inside? Nothing. Well, perhaps her stupid brothers. But they were obviously too distracted with their new victims, almost looking like vampires about to suck some innocent creature's blood. She rolled her green eyes at this and turned around at that moment, stuffing her wand away in her robes. "If you will all excuse me now, I have a book to finish and an empty stomach to feed," she announced to anyone who was still paying attention. "Good luck making your selection, Violet," she said to the youngest of her sisters as she passed by, giving a curt nod before disappearing into the mansion. Her brothers could give her hell about this later, she didn't care. She needed her rest. |

Luc stood, listening aimlessly to the conversations of those around him. He was getting sleepy, even, waiting for everyone to pick. They had gotten into the female Delameres... sort of. When would he be picked? This was getting annoying. |
OOC: Would someone mind catching me up please? I am completely lost! (Plus sorry for the absence, I was on vacay) |
Was wondering where you were! The Delamere's are picking. So far Colton, Freya, Sonja, Julia, Fabien, and Taylor have been picked. Victoria, Ava-Mercy (I've been glaring at you for making me feel self concious, xD), and Luc are still chilling. Everyone else has just been standing about angstily. |
OOC: Okay, soo... I should pick a person??? (Haha that's me, Captain Obvious) |
