OOC: Just a friendly reminder to try and get your characters to bed using RP. Your next plot event will take place in about 6-7 real world hours from the time of this post (possibly sooner). If you don't have time to get your characters to bed, I'll include a short wrap for whatever your character is doing before I send the next event, which will be by PM. Then, we will begin posting at breakfast the next day. Thanks, everyone! Especially the Made-ups who stuck with me even though there wasn't much for them to do at first. I hope you're enjoying the game and I apologize if it has been abrupt and you have had a lot of time to RP in it. It will be a little fast-paced and I will be a little solid at pushing the plot forward, but I hope that, in the end, that will make it more fun for everyone. Anyone who misses an opportunity to participate in one of the events, only needs to go back and read my posts in BOLD DARKSLATEGRAY. They won't need to read every post, which is another good thing about the way I'm running the game. It leaves room for people with real life stuff to take care of and new players to join much more easily than most other RPs. I hope everyone's having fun. :) |

Nathan was shocked when he saw the sorrow in her eyes. Something terrible must of happened for it to effect Addie as much as this. He used his thumb to wipe away some of the tears. "Do you want to tell me what happened?" he asked. If everything was wrong, then she needed someone to be there for her. And he was here for her. |
Spence marched up staircase after staircase, not thinking about much of anything. While he was finally accepting the fact that all this could be real, he still felt lost and confused. Spence wasn't sure what to think anymore. The pain welling up in his chest was unbearable. It felt like a part of his heart had been ripped away and there would be an empty space there forevermore. More than anything, what Spence wanted to do was go after the people that had killed his family members and make them hurt. The monster in him wanted so badly to make them regret what they'd done. And then he wanted to find Hunter, his elder brother, and keep him safe from harm. He couldn't right now though. Maybe tomorrow Spence would go speak with the Headmaster. Meanwhile, he needed to get a grip on his conflicting emotions so he could think clearly. Everything had happened so abruptly. Finally, he reached the door to the Ravenclaw Common Room. Spence did his best to wipe the tears off his face, to gain composure. It was one thing to appear weak in front of his family, but he didn't want anyone else to see him so torn up. He was a prefect. He was supposed to be their strong leader. Not an emotional train wreck. Somehow, Spence managed to think clear enough to answer the question correctly. Running a hand through his curly brown hair, Spence entered the common room. He did his best to avoid the glances of prying eyes, walking swiftly toward the door to the boy's dormitories. Once he reached his dorm, he sat down on a window ledge, and gazed out at the beautiful snowy Hogwarts grounds. There, when he was finally alone, Spence began to sob shamelessly. |
Plot point: Spence, if you happen to glance at your bed, you'll see a leather-bound book lying on your pillow that you know doesn't belong to you. It does look... familiar, though. |

Again she wiped her eyes, pulling away slightly from the younger girl. Other students would probably enter the common room soon, and Kel didn't want to be seen crying in front of them, especially not her friends. She didn't want to discuss what had happened with any of them, not now. This ought to remain between herself and her family. "We should get to bed," she said quietly, getting to her feet. She extended a hand to Izzy to help her to her feet. |
OOC: I had intended on posting the next even in an hour, but since only a few people have had a chance to point since I made that announcement, I'm going to postpone the next event until tomorrow afternoon. I don't want to cut you guys short. |
Lissa was getting restless. She wanted to know what would happen, if Chase was okay. She left her common room and walked through the hallways. Then she noticed the headmaster leaving with some aurors and some people she didn't know. She saw that one of them had been crying, and there was a small boy with them. She hid behind a plant and waited until Chase emerged. She wanted to know what was going on. Plus, the woman had been crying, so something terrible must have happened. She would comfort Chase if he needed it. |

Nathan was shocked and also felt betrayed when Addie said he would use whatever that had happened tonight against him. "What! You know I would NEVER do something like that!" he stood up after she did and watched, while still in shock, she walked away from him. He decided to take the long route towards the Slytherin Common Room so he wouldn't run into Addie. After finally making his way back to the common room, he went straight towards his dorm and tried to go to sleep. |

Izzy nodded, and took her cousin's hand, and got up. "Bed sounds.. good." she replied. Though, she didn't think that she would get to sleep. Her hair turned to a black, mourning the death's of all her family members. She went into the Dormitory and hoped into bed. She looked up at the ceiling. She couldn't get to sleep. She closed her eyes. |
Elodie figured it was pretty late and she should probably hit the sack soonish, it had been a long night. "g'night" she said over her shoulder, to Dallin, heading towards the dorms. As soon as she reached the side of her bed, she was out. Livione had dozed of in her chair. Her short hair everywhere and her back now on the floor at her side. |
As your characters make their way to bed, I will PM you your next plot events. They will come in forms of dream sequences. *cues xylophone* Ooooh! I'm going to start sending them now. Er, well soonish. :) |
OOC: Sorry for the double post, everyone, but let me state that all of the mains have been PMed their dream sequences, so you can all feel free to begin posting for tomorrow morning. Your next plot even will NOT be in PM form and will happen during breakfast this morning. Additional: There was recently a question about the dream you received. Please do NOT post your full dreams in this thread. No one else had the dream you had unless I specified that you did, so no one else should have that information. If you want to try to solve what your dreams mean, you'll need to talk to each other IC. Thanks! |
Adelinde woke up from the weirdest dream she ever had. She wiped her cheeks from the tears she had shed over night and wonder what that dream had meant... The two looked so familiar as well and then she realized who they were. She shook her head, that was impossible. She threw the covers off of her and got ready for the day. Last night wasn't a dream... she would have to deal with it, face the truth, but once she found out who it was, that person was dead. Her grip on her wand tightened as she used magic to get ready. When she was done, she entered the Slytherin Common room and looked around. Addie was going to apologize to Nathan for last night, how mean she had been. She felt terrible and sat down in one of the common room chairs. She looked at the fire, and faces kept popping into her mind. She just sat there and waited for him to arrive, clearing her mind of the thoughts of the night before. But the memory of the dream lingered. It held some significance... if only she knew what. |
Nathan walked into the Common room. He was about to leave the Common room and go to breakfast in the Great Hall, but he saw Addie sitting on one of the chairs near the fire. He knew that they didn't part in good ways last night and decided to try and fix it. He walked to where she was sitting and sat in the chair beside her. "Hey Addie" he said quietly. He didn't know how she would react today, and he still didn't know what had happened last night. |
Addie jumped a little when she heard the voice. She hadn't realized that she had zoned off completely and saw Nathan. "Nathan, about last night... I'm really sorry about it," she rambled, "it was just that... my family... a lot of them were killed... including my parents and my little sister..." she said that last part quietly and she felt like crying again. But she wasn't going to, not anymore. "I'm really really sorry about how I was acting, forgive me?" she apologized, feeling guilty about it all. |
Gemini woke in a panic, she was scared. It was not that her dream was scary, what the man said was. She sat on the edge of her bed as be auburn hair fell over her face. She was creeped out; she wanted to know what it meant. But it was over. Gem looked over to see if Genesis was awake yet, nope. Gem jumped off her bed and got dressed. She brushed her hair and pulled it into a high ponytail. She walked down into the Hufflepuff common room and sat in one of the comfy chairs with a book. Gem couldn't cry anymore, she was all cried out. She was full of sorrow, but she couldn't cry. She would hold her head high and face the day. Everything would be wrong, but it wouldn't show on the outside. |
Dallin wandered into the great hall, rubbing his eyes. He hadn't slept at all last night; he'd stayed up all night thinking. Mostly, he'd been thinking about those aurors, and how they were... ugh. He needed to talk to someone. But first, he needed food. He plopped down at the Ravenclaw table, his eyelids drooping. He needed food, then he needed sleep. Sounds like a plan. |

Nathan smiled slightly when Addie apoligised, but frowned when she kept on talking. His eyes then widened in shock and horror when she told him what had happened last night. He was speechless until his mind registered that she asked him to forgive her. "Of course I forgive you."he put his arm around her shoulders to try to comfort her and tried to smile reassuringly at her. He decided not to comment on what happened in case he made it worse. He was silent for a minute before he asked "Do you want to go to breakfast, or stay here for a bit?" |

Izzy woke up. All she could remember from her dream was the Great Hall, the Entrance Hall giving off smoke, the crumbinling stones, the dead bodies, the scared people, and the mysterious red haired woman. The one that comforted her... and another.. Was that Elodie there? She tried to remember what the Red haired lady had said. But she couldn't, she got up and headed downstairs to the Great Hall. Maybe she could talk to the others about her dream. |

Nathan stood up after her. "I'm a bit hungry myself" he grinned at her. He couldn't think of anything else to say. Maybe he was still a little bit in shock at what he heard, he didn't know, "Let's go then." |

His inquiry's caught her off guard but she showed no outward sign of it. Her steel gray eyes assess him briefly and then she looked away. Fie gave a small sigh. "Blaire said something about the Dark Mark. If I remember correctly it had something to do with the Dark Lord but no ones seen it in almost 100 years." Sometimes it paid to have a Ravenclaw for a twin. Shaking her long black hair she turned and walked out of the room. Her demeanor may have been cold and aloof but this was the only way she knew how to handle things. She still couldn't believe it. Her father was gone. Pain stabbed through her as she walked down to the dungeons. Taking short breaths she manages to control herself long enough to get to her room. Climbing quickly into bed she does what she didn't want to do in public. Fiona lets her fear and anger and pain go. Tears quickly turn to agonized sobs, wrenched from deep down. Her heart tearing itself into tiny pieces in the process. After what seemed like hours of crying, Fiona falls into a fitful sleep. Dreams, odd dreams flit through Fie's mind though eventually they fade and she slips into a deep restful sleep. Sunshine filtered through the drapes of her four poster, lighting up the back of her eyelids. Blinking, Fiona opens her gritty eyes. Groaning she stretches and reluctantly climbs out of bed. Her eyes were gritty from shed tears indicating she had cried during the night. Running a hand through her hair she looks down a realizes that she slept in her cloths. Fabulous. Chuckling dryly Fiona takes to the shower and changes into fresh cloths. Feeling slightly better, the Slytherin heads upstairs to the Great Hall. Sweeping into the room, Fiona takes in the near empty tables. Apparently last night had been trying for everyone. Sighing, she heads for her table and digs into her breakfast. Dozer woke up and shower and changed. Heading up to breakfast was his first order of business since his mind never worked without the proper amount of food. Sauntering into the Great Hall he notices the few people present and hones in on one of his fellow Housemates. Taking a seat next to her he mumbles, "Morning." Fie glances over as someone sits next to her. The faint scent of sandlewood and pine give away who it is even before his mumbled greeting met her ears. Without looking up she gives a small smile and a reply. "Morning Dozer." She really wasn't in the mood to chat but she didn't have to worry in present company. Dozer never said more then a few sentences before lunch. |
