That's right folks, I'm back!! And better than ever! Woah, have I missed SS, have you missed me?! I sure hope so.

As Nicnevin strode across the grounds, holding just a towel and her wand, she felt a shiver of excitement run up her spine.

One of her favourite passtimes was to swim in the lake, on the Hogwarts grounds. Not many students did, because it was very cold, the giant squid, and other magical beasts.
But Nicnevin wasn't afraid of anything living in the lake, because she met the Merpeople on her first day here. She had fallen in the lake, while crossing it towards Hogwarts, and the Merpeople took her to shore. Ever since, whenever she was bored she would go and have a chat with the english speaking ones.

As Nicnevin reached a large rock right by the edge of the lake, she removed her robes and climbed up the rock. Her butt-length silvery-blonde hair was flopping against her black bikini as she prepared herself by the edge of the rock.

Nicnevin then dove into the icy depths of the lake, feeling it chill her through her bones, she swam deeper and deeper untill she could go no more and surfaced.

Ahhh, just gorgeous!! This has got to be the cleanest water.

She then started to breast-stroke across the lake. On her return, it looked as if the guys where waiting for her by her clothes.

As she got closer she realised that it was Sirius, James and Remus. Nic smiled to herself and decided to play a little trick on them. She dove under, and opened her eyes, so she could see their shadows falling onto the lake. She swum under the water until she was directly bellow them and suddenly surfaced. Splashing all over them slightly.
Instead of a greeting when she emerged, however, she had a fit of laughing. For some reason she thought that the whole idea was hysterical. It must have been the cold water.

Plot: This RP only lasts ONE NIGHT. okay? This one midnight swim. It takes place in the marauder's era, as you can probably imagine. Nic has been best friends with the whole crew since her first day. She and Remus shared their little "half-breed" secrets with each other and such. The whole group is tight. But there is a slight issue. Nic has gradually been having feelings for Remus... UH OH. But that is not all, Sirius has recently discovered that he has feelings for Nic!
Nic is in a but of a fickle... cause she really likes Sirius too, but thinks that Remus only likes her as a friend!! OH DEAR.
THEN, madeup1 has a crush on Remus... madeup2 has a crush on Sirius... and madeup3 has a crush on James. James is crazy for lily, but she REFUSES to go out with him...
PS. this takes place in the end of the marauder's sixth year... aka, NO LILY/JAMES ACTION, ,OKAY?!

History: Nicnevin was born to her parents when they were quite old. They were hard workers, and rarely had time for her as a child. Instead of giving her the love she deserved, they spoiled her with whatever her heart desired. But at the age of 10, Nic was sick of it all. Her stuck-up parents, her stuck up housekeepers, and her medieval estate. She snuck out of the house, with her few most favoured possessions- her black dress, her leather pouch, and a large silver chain she had found lying around the house. Nic walked as far as she could, which wasn't very far considering her size, and rested in a bus shelter. While she sat there, a woman approached her. She was the most beautiful woman Nic had ever seen, and she took Nic in her arms and held her close. Nic doesn't remember much after that, except for the pain. She remembered running as fast as her little ten-year-old legs would carry her, all the way back to her parents home, where she collapsed on the doorstep. Luckily, she was brought inside before the sun came-out. But she was never the same after that day.
Personality: Nic wouldn't strike most people as a vampire, as long as you didn't look too closely. Most muggles when they saw her in the summer, and raves and such, just assumed her to be one of the many gothic types living in the city. She was silly, most of the time. And loved to prank. She is best friends with Remus, and they shared their 'little' secrets with each other first. One of those bonding moments. Nic is also very clumsy. She tends to knock over things, or trip over mysteriously small stones.
Her pasty white skin, and abnormally large eyeteeth are clues that she is a vampire, but never fear, Dumbledore is here! When she first attended Hogwarts Dumbledore had already fixed up a potion for her, to control her allergy to sunlight. At night she still looks more like a vampire, but is completely harmless if she's fed recently. Unless you make her angry. If Nic is out in the sun for too long, she comes out in a rash. If she didn't take her potion, she would crumble into dust. Thank-you Professor!

Sirius's head was slightly titled to the side as he stared at Nicnevin as she spoke. The words coming out clear and loud, but her actions seemed to be too fast for him to recognize them. Before he knew in fact what she was doing, he could feel her cold body press against his own frigid frame and her icy fingers and arms wrap around his body. The moment her skin touched his, he could feel a rather cold chill course through him like no other and he fought back at yelping from the depth of the coldness that came from her.

Looking down at her, not really having the motive, or strength for that matter, to push her away, he smiled back at her curling lips. "Oh, yes. Right. This is helping much better." He said in a rather sarcastic way though he couldn't help but supress his own smile.
"You do realize you're as cold as a sheet of ice?" This was the first thing that came to mind and he seemed to chuckle slightly at the manner in which he had said it. "And yes I did have to use that word because I knew the moment I did you might get a little closer to me." He teased rather pronouncedly. It was a bold move on his part, though under the circumstances he knew nothing could officially happen between the two of them. Winking at her, he somewhat pulled away from her, enough so that the certain pair of hazel eyes he could feel on the both of them might not jump to certain conclusions.

Nicnevin laughed, and placed one hand over her mouth to hide it. "I am actualy quite aware," She said,still laughing into her hand. "I did it on purpose!"
Nic was so shocked that she let Sirius push her away slightly. She looked away so that Sirius wouldn't be able to see her face. Nic shook her head slightly then turned back to him smiling.
"You silly goose," She said poking his bare chest, her tinkling laughter floating through her words.

If Remus's glare was to get any stronger, it would probably begin to burn a hole through Sirius and Nicnevin. And they were laughing, still. Remus pouted. This wasn't how he planned it to happen. His idea had much less bodily contact.
Moony felt a sight amount of relief as Sirius pulled back. But only a little.
That's quite enough, he thought, lying back so that he was floating on his back, gazing at the sky.

Sirius stood to his full height now, after been pulled to his knees and hugged by Nicnevin. "I think someone's jealous." He said to her, taking a glance over at his friend who stared at them with an evil passion.

Although he liked the fact that Remus was jealous, he didn't want to cause anymore conflict. "C'mon. Let's go over to him." He started to swim away then, only turning back to add. "Maybe this time I'll actually drown him." He teased, though in a grumbling sort of way.

Moony heard what Sirius said, and began glaring at the stars above him, as though blaming them for his problems. As Sirius approached, Remus dunked under the water. He was still far too angry to be able to speak to Sirius without choking him first.
Opening his eyes, he watched as the pair of legs made their way closer. Remus knew he would have to surface and speak to them soon. He could only hold his breath for so long.

"Jealous?" Nic asked as she peeked over at Remus. Surely he couldn't mean... Nic turned back to Sirius and grinned. "Okay," She said but then poked him in the chest quite hard. "No drowning," She added with a meaningful look on her face.
She swam ahead and collided with Remus. She hadn't kept her eyes open underwater.
Nicnevin surfaced and grinned at her friend foolishly. "You got in my way," She said laughing. Then quickly wrapped her arms around him, hugging him.

Lupin would have groaned in apprehension, had he not been underwater. He was just about to turn and swim farther away when Nicnevin seemed to have collided into him. "Ow," he said, though only bubbles and a faint, blurry sort of sound came out.
Remus surfaced and blinked the water from his eyes. "Ow," he repeated. "Watch i-" but Remus found himself unable to continue his sentence, as Nicnevin had just hugged him. He was shocked. Tentatively, Moony wrapped him arms around Nicnevin's thin body. He did not even notice how cold her skin was.

Sirius strayed his distance away from Remus, stopping a few yards from him, letting Nicnevin do whatever. He laughed somewhat loudly at the look on Remus's face when she hugged him. He didn't think Remus was expecting that...

At least maybe then he wouldn't look so... jealous. When Remus hugged back, Sirius perked an eyebrow and just floated in the water. Rolling his eyes he pretended to gag himself and went under so as to not have to watch them.

Nicnevin grinned when she felt Remus's arms wrap around her small frame. She was glad that he had chose to ignore her iceyness, and do the polite thing. Whether it be for polite reasons or not.
She reluctantly let go, and grinned at him foolishly, knowing that if it were possible for her, she would be blushing.
Nic ran a hand through her wet hair, and smirked at the two boys. Silly creatures, she thought to herself. They shouldn't fight when they have so short to live.

A small smile tugged at the corners of Remus's mouth. He had no idea what this was accomplishing, as Sirius still did not seem to be speaking to him. But it was nice, enjoyable, despite the freezing temperature of Nicnevin's skin.
When Nicnevin's grip around him loosened, Remus followed suit and released her as well. The grin on her face made Remus chuckle lightly and, just for the fun of it, splash her with water the same way she had done to him when he had first arrived.

Lily walked quietly on grass grounds as she watched the others talking about something unknown to her. She really didn't care, since that wasn't the reason why she was out at that hour. Lily always loved how bright the stars seemed to shine her, unlike those in the city where she was lucky to see a few stars.

Lily wasn't absolutely sure why they had decide to swim at this time of night, when the water was icy cold. Find a quiet place, far enough from the group. She laid down in the dew covered grass and gazed up at the beautiful night sky.

Nic shrieked and splashed both of the boys playfully, before dunking her head underwater to re-wet her hair.
She saw Lily at the water's edge and waved over-exagerattedly, hoping her friend would see.
Nic turned back to the boys and grinned foolishly at them. Perhaps a bit of a water fight would be good for them?
She cupped more of the icy water in her hands and tossed it in the air, so that it would land on Sirius and Remus's heads.

Sirius would surface for air only to be drenched with cold water thrown at him and Remus by Nicnevin herself. "Blah!" He spat, shaking his head, with his hair spitting water at every-which direction, and rubbing his eyes of the water to open them. "Hmm.."

Staring at Nicnevin a second, he cupped water into his own hands and tossed it back at her. This meant war.. Haha. And with the splashing of the water, he hadn't realized Lily's appearance.

Nic screemed, and swiftly spun around so that the water that came at her from Sirius hit her back instead of her face. She laughed as she peeked under her long sheet of hair and suddenly submerged.
She took some of water into her mouth, making sure that she didn't swallow any, and resurfaced.
She grinned at Sirius, her eyes flashing and spat the water out in a fountain like stream.
She laughed and pushed herself backwards so that she splashed in all directions.

Remus began to splash randomly at both Nicnevin and Sirius, hardly recognizing Lily.
Moony swam up next to Nicnevin when she began to wave enthusiastically. "Oh," he said, somewhat surprised. "Hey, Lily!" He, too, waved like a loon at his friend. He noticed that Nicnevin was distracted, and sent a small tidal waved at her and ducked under the surface so as not to get splashed by Nic.

Nic giggled, and regained he focus a second too late.
Before she had a chance to compose herself into a stance that would prevent her from wetness, she was swept underwater by a surprisingly strong wave, sent to he by the almighty Remus.
She came up sputtered and glared at him just before he submerged. He wasn't going to get away with this.
Nic turned her head and winked and Sirius before pushing herself underwater and sinking to the bottom. She grabbed a piece of lake plant, and ripped it up from the bottom of the lake. She swam back up to the surface and waited to for Remus to come up for air. He was going to get some lake-kelp in his hair!

Lily had seen Nic's friendly wave, but she chose to pretend that she hadn't. She didn't want to be rude or anything, it was just she need sometime alone. Letting a small groan escape her mouth as she noticed Remus waving and say 'Hi' to her. Lily really didn't feel like going over to them and telling them to leave her alone, since it would only sound rude and she didn't want that.

His lungs protested. They screamed for a fresh breath of air. If he could sigh, Remus would have. He kicked his legs, shooting upwards. Moony took a few deep breaths of air and turned in the general direction of Nicnevin. His hair was plastered to his face, now several shades darker than normal. His eyes, however, shone with playfulness, bright as ever.
He saw a curious green something in her hand. He swam closer, grinning impishly.

Nic felt her playful grin seep into a more devilish smile as she watched Remus. As soon he was close enough, she thrust out her arms and splattered the many tendrils of seaweed onto his head, and rubbed them in a bit.
She laughed and spun around so that she could swim away before Moony retaliated, but felt a strong hand grip her wrist. She winced as she turned around, a little frightened, but mostly excited about what she would see.

"Gah," Remus cried, getting a whiff of what was being squished into his hair. He swam backwards...well, flailed backwards, just out of reach of Nicnevin. Wrinkling his nose, he tentatively pulled the bits of foliage from his soaking hair. "Oi," he said, waving the weeds, "I don't think that's fair." Just for the fun of it, he chucked them in the general direction of Sirius. Remus dunked under, just to make sure all of the seaweed - or lakeweed, as the case may be - was out of his hair. As he surfaced, Lupin saw Nicnevin turn sharply. His eyebrows lowered curiously.

Nicnevin giggled when she saw the piece of kelp that had attached itself to her wrist. She grabbed it and flung it off, and laughed when she saw she also chucked hers at Sirius.
Nic smiled at Remus and lunged at him. "How so Sir?" She asked jokingly. She had thought that the trick was quite funny.

Lupin laughed lightly when Nicnevin too threw her seaweed at Padfoot. He had warmed up considerably, or perhaps he was simply numb, either way it was better than freezing.
He jerked back when Nicnevin launched herself at him. "Well, madam," he said extravagantly, "Not all of us can get seaweed. So, it's not fair that you can get it." There was a slight huffy edge in his voice but his silly grin gave him away.

I'm having an off month. Don't sweat it.

Nic smirked. "It's simply an advantage to me," She said keeping her currently pale green eyes on Remus. "But obviously Siri has some now too!"
Nic laughed, a light tinkling laugh, and ran her finger down Remus's cheek suddenly. "You're looking peachy again," She said, grinning foolishly.

"Yes," Remus agreed, "To you, it's great. For us, not so much." He swam back some more, in the direction of a large rock. He would be able to hide behind it.
"Padfoot looks nicely green under all the seaweed," he commented, smiling over at his friend. Moony scrunched up his nose as Nicnevin's icy finger ran down his face. It was very smooth, he rather liked it. "I'm peachy again. Fantastic," he said lightly.

Nic sighed over-exagerattedly, but felt her grin slowly sliding back into place. "Fine, I won't dive under and grab the strange leafy water veggies," She recited, then stuck her tongue out playfully at Remus.

Nic turned and giggled into her hand as she caught sight of Sirius. He looked like he went to the Merpeoples Hairstylist.
"He looks bloody hilarious," She hushed at Moony. The winked at him and wrapped her hand around her mouth like a makeshift speakerphone.
"Hey Paddy, You should wear your hair like that more often!" She yelled, laughing the whole while.

Nic smiled shyly and withdrew her hand. She bit her lower lip, awkwardly, and giggled softly. "Wolfboy, mortal again..." She whispered, watching him from under her thick long lashes.
