| | | ••KA: RPotW•• ->Hogwarts: a New Beginning Brittanda and Ashiie Productions present... {:Whimsical.Times.Ahead:} {:The Plot:} Gone are the days of darkness and fear. Times plagued with horrors and nightmares, torture and deceit. No longer does one have to fear their heritage, their lifestyle, their neighbors, because the Wizarding World has been living blissfully in peace. For twenty-five years, since the fateful defeat of Lord Voldemort by the heroic Harry Potter, there has been no sign of darkness, nothing that could get through the veil of safety and happiness cloaking the world.
Because of this, a new legacy is rising in Hogwarts. The Marauders had their legacy. Harry Potter and his friends had theirs. Now, a new legacy is taking their place in the school. Everyone knows who they are - they're not famous. They're just a little notorious for being loud and having parties and living up their lives. Who can blame them?
This isn't about their legacy, though. This is a new generation, a new group of students. Sure, no one is overcoming dark patches and evil dark deeds, but they're overcoming O.W.L.s, heart break, love blossom, friendship, and those nasty bullies. They're managing school and life. Parties and studying. Dancing and detention.
These are the peaceful years... live it up while you still can... {:The Setting:} The year is 2022, twenty-five years past the defeat of Lord Voldemort. During these twenty-five years has reigned peace and prosperity. The Ministry of Magic leads and does a wonderful job at protecting the people and keeping crime at bay, allowing good and light to continue to shine. Our RP itself takes place in the halls of Hogwarts, the ever-studious and academically inclined school of witchcraft and wizardy...
Hah.
This is one of those tales of coming to age and growing up. Of living your life the way you want and letting nothing come in the way. And also, of facing your fears. Because nothing stays good for long. Even the best apple can spoil...
The Headmistress is named Professor Natiya (Nat-ee-ya) VaamWront. Gryffindor Head: Herbology Professor Catherine Hollis Slytherin Head: Defense Against Dark Arts Professor Lliam Knowling Ravenclaw Head: Transfiguration Professor Xavier Calling Hufflepuff Head: Charms Professor Melanie Basalph (buh-saw-ff) {:The.Rules:} 1. First and foremost, follow the Knockturn Alley RP Rules. If you refuse to, I will have you kicked out of the RP. 2. No Mary-Sues. They are not enjoyable characters. What is a Mary-Sue? A perfect character; flawless. Not every girl is wanted, not every guy is devastatingly hot. Give them flaws, it's less annoying and it makes them more likable. 3. No supercharacters. Therefore, no powers. Sorry. But most people can't handle them and they wouldn't be too important here anyway. You're not invincible, you're not going to avoid every attack. But, likewise, don't control another's character. Leave it up to them whether or not something you do affects them. 4. Literacy is a must. if u typ3 lyk dis, then you can't join. You don't have to type novels, but try to keep it a few sentances at least. Describe things, don't just state stuff. And please, try to write as if this is a school paper. Astericks somewhat annoy me =) 5. If you join, stay. RPs suck if not everyone follows through. 6. When joining, post a profile. I will decide from your profile whether or not you're approve ^__^ In this profile, include a RP sample. Please, NO characters related to Harry Potter and friends. {:Characters:} Nolan Weiss (Prefect) (5): Hermione_loves_Ron Morzella "Mozzie" O'Niel (5): Hermione_loves_Ron Tristan Storme (6): Hermione_loves_Ron Charolotte "Boo" Remmington (6): Hermione_loves_Ron Olliver "Ollie" Stratton (5): Hermione_loves_Ron Salinea Avery (Prefect) (5): Hermione_loves_Ron Sarah O’Neil (5): Pandalicious Gabriel "Gabe" Richardson (5): Pandalicious Grace Richards (6): Faerilicious Stefan Dio (6): NightShadows

They seemed heated and in some sort of fight, but she pretended to not mind this fact as she bounced towards them, locking her hands behind her back and rocking on her short legs.
"Why hello there, Sirs! Ma'am! And how are you enjoying my party on this fiiine night?" She eyed them all, noting the heated atmosphere. It was very tense. "Let's not fight! How about we party! Cos... we're back at Hooooogwarts!"
She glanced over at Jessy, smiling and nodding. See! It could all be worked out.
...she hoped... Yuki barely shifted her attention. She merely, nodded her acknowledgment. "Forgive us for causing such a commotion," she whispered softly, though never stepping out of her stance.
She glanced at her brother and the American and with a whispered, "Release" the two were no longer bound by Word Spell. Her brother stepped into a fighting stance instantly, the slightly taller of the two glaring daggers at the American.
"Unfortunately, my brother and I will not back down unless we can come to a resonable agreement." ****
Kimihiro never took his eyes off of the American. "Reasonable means apolgizing and then we leave and you leave," he added, curling his arm up behind him, the sleeve of his yukata falling and revealing lean muscle. |

Yuki glared and her brother remained silent. Her normally friendly face set in hard, dangerous lines. "I used magic to stop this from escalating. You want to talk maturity, then why is it you find it so hard to apologize or understand? A real man would do that. Resorting to violence when it is unnecessary is pathetic and weak.
"However, if you wish to turn this physical," she said softly, moving the hand holding her fan swiftly to the side, kimono sleeve swishing oddly in the breeze, arm straight and an odd fire in her blue eyes, "I can and will fight you without magic." She closed her fan with a snap and magic and electricity crackled around it.
She slid it back into her obi for safe keeping, before sliding her feet into a fighting stance. "I thought you wanted to fight? How can do you expect us to fight if you insist that we leave? Besides, I would leave, but at this point, honor is at stake. I can no more back down now, than you can, though I'm sure my reasons are more... admirable than yours." She glanced between the two.
"You should be Silent," she breathed at the American. Another Word Spell. Simple and so effective. "Your judgment is worthless and your words are powerless. If you wish to preach your biggoted ideals, do it elsewhere."
She turned her blue eyes back on Edge. A long pointed stick slid from the sleeves in her kimono and she swiftly put her long hair up, out of her face. "So, do you wish to fight this out still?"
"Your type of magic doesn't prevent something, it creates new problems," Edge shot back at her, curling his fists. He took a deep breath. "I don't apologize for nothing. What did I do to you? Tell you to watch it? A simple warning - you were the one to take on a different interpretation." Edge shook his head. He was tired of this. When Yuki took off the spell, Troy fell back, before exploding in a fast-talking, hand-moving stream of insults. None of which were understandable... with the exeception of a few 'butts' here and there. "Leave?!" He shook his head rapidly. "No way! Edge was here first!" Edge turned away so they wouldn't see him laugh at the fact that Troy was flipping out. Still, his shoulders shook a bit as he tried to stop. Turning back, he ignored Yuki and her brother before focusing on the two girls that showed up. He raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything. Troy, however, suddenly realized Boo and Inez. He stopped shouting instantly. "Party?" He repeated, looking around. "How can we party with them around?" He jerked his thumb at them. Pausing, Troy suddenly sighed. He glanced at Edge. "How about it, Edge?" Edge gave a shrug. "Makes them leave," he nodded. Troy sighed again. "We're sorry that you two are ugly." Headdesk. Troy grinned. "And that you two can't get off your high horses. We're sorry for arguing when we know we're right. There." Edge looked at Boo. "We're sorry for ruining your party," he told her, not letting his sarcasm get in the way. "Big happy family," he told her, giving the fakest smile ever.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Sailor Van Zandt First Year | Inez just stared with those wide crystal blue eyes of hers at the group. What were they even talking about? They should be dancing! And drinking some serious Monsters! And not ignoring her! They didn't seem particularly happy, but that had never stopped her before!
"Oh! How about...." she tried to collect her plan. "Oo! I could apoligize for one of you and then you can dance! Dancing's FUN!" she grinned, clearly proud of this plan. |

She didn't feel the need to. Words were nothing, it was the intent behind them. The boys in front of her were stuck up and full of manly attitude, too young to see past their own noses.
She stepped out of her fighting stance and pulled out her fan, flipping it open. The scene was still the same, though the storm had intensified. "I believe my brother meant that we leave this spot, leave each other's presence," she sighed and turned her back on the two boys. "This fight is beneath us, Big Brother," she said, speaking softly in Japanese. "We don't need to waste our engery on them. We only need to take the high rode. They are children, or at least, they act like it. I think perhaps, we should leave.
"Forgive me for having insisted we come. Clearly it was a bad idea."
***** Kimihiro didn't normally back down, but his sister was right and besides, if she said something was right, he listened. She was the one who did fortune telling; she was wise beyond her years and far calmer than most girls her age. She was friendly and outgoing, but above all, she was the future Priestess of the Yamashita shrine and that meant she was powerful.
He sighed and followed suit, stepping from the fighting stance and turning his back on the two. He didn't let his gaurd drop and knew his sister hadn't either.
He simply didn't trust those two. "Let's go," he whispered to her, taking her by the hand and leading her away from the two. He was still uneasy and didn't want his sister to get hurt. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: November {Noe} Franze First Year | Brain Twin | MASTAH ASHURRII | Reisdent PokeNerd | Digifangirl "Fighting is such a bore," Boo insisted as they all explained they'd not back down. She didn't even know who was who or what they were fighting about. Casting a look at Inez, she quickly twirled her index finger around her ear in the universal "crazy" symbol.
"I think you guys should join us," she decided, reaching out and grabing the hand of who she didn't know was Edge. "You know how to dance, yeah? Now move those hips!" And, as if he needed an example, she wiggled her hips in a manner that was completely out of rhythm.
As the other two, the ones in the kimono, pulled away, Boo raised her free hand and waved.
"Feel free to stick around! We have pumpkin juice and pastries! Join the dancing!"
She couldn't imagine what they'd been fighting about and wasn't even going to try to imagine it. Honestly? She'd rather dance. Break dance, not heads. Yeah! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: L'Wren Evans Fifth Year | Stella felt Tristan pull back slightly, but didn't quite register it; her mind was going about sixty miles and hour. Her bare feet carried her back to Kate, who was dancing already. As only dancer's naked feet could, she maneuvered her way through the people to Kate deftly, and without injury. "Darling, let's find some glasses."
Kate was still slightly shorter than Stella, even with her stilettos, and she trotted slightly behind as the two broke back into open air. "If I were a champagne fluke..." She said, laughing. Boo's parties were normally excellently stocked, but it was quite probable that glasses for alcohol weren't exactly laying around. Stella seemed to think the same, and she was climbing up the side of a rather tall fountain, trying valiantly to uncork the bubbly (or rather, cider, which with all the charms, would spout like well-shook champagne). "Who needs cups?" She stated, helping Kate up the side of the fountain. Standing slightly above the party, Stella succeeded and a fountain of her own erupted over a few unsuspecting dancers. A little success dance was in order, and then a sip of cider, straight from the bottle.
Kate laughed uncontrollably, teetering a bit on the fountain's edge in her impossibly high heels. The two began to dance and take drinks in turn. Merlin, they loved parties.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Maximilian Medford Fifth Year | Escapee from Azkaban Troy watched as the two Japanese siblings walked away. He grinned triumphantly. Haha! Success! "Yeah, you walk away!" He yelled after them, as if an act to sound tough.
He grinned back at Inez as she insisted that dancing was fun. "It is," he agreed. "Now that that is over," he looked at Boo and imitated her shaking her hips. "Now we can dance." Edge's eyes widened when this freak-about-dancing girl suddenly grabbed his hand. Wh-at?! Did she just do that? Who did she think she was? He wanted to push her down and make her cry. He wanted to smush those bows in her hair. He wanted to chuck drinks at her too-shiny-for-normal-outfit.
He tugged his hand away, clearing his head from those thoughts. "I don't have hips," Edge told her, shaking his head. "I can't dance." Troy leaned over to Boo and laughed. "Edge has two left feet. He's a klutz!" Extending his hand for a shake, he stopped dancing long enough to say, "I'm Troy and that's Edge."

Hogwarts RPG Name: Sailor Van Zandt First Year | Inez giggled. The loco sign she think she got! Bam! Her attention was drawn away though as she watched two of them walk off. Was it over? The whole fighting thing? Okay... "Bravo!" She decided on as her way of congrats for a 'happy ending'.
"Ooo! Dance! Please!!!" she exclaimed extatically to the two that stayed. "Hii Troy, hi Edge!" she added, waving as if they were a mile away. |

Perhaps they wouldn't leave. It would be... embarressing to her family's honor if they left for good.
"Shall we stay, then?" she asked her brother, who nodded his responce and then tensed. Quote:

He nodded stiffly. He knew he was being the better man; he could easily take them out in any number of ways and it would only ruin his sister's attempt at making friends for the two of them. He didn't need any friends, he only needed her, but she was social and he would do anything for her.
They walked around, spotting the juice and pastries the hostess had mentioned. "Are you thirsty?" he asked his sister, who nodded. He fetched them drinks and they stood to the side, watching the party and the people. |

She deserately hoped they didn't spill any of that on Tristan, who was still seated there, long legs out in front of him, probably hoping to trip someone. Her attention turned back to the two boys and her hand was being thrown back at her by, who was introduced, Edge.
Brows lowering over her nose, she scoffed.
"You're lying!" she proclaimed with a firm nod, raising her arms over her head and sashaying her hips. "We all have hips. Even you!"
She nodded over at Troy and laughed. He was dancing! At least he knew how to dance. Grinning, she leaned back to him. "Left feet or not, he can dance. Look at Inez, after all!"
Inez was, like Boo, a sporadic, spazztic dancer.
"Show 'em your moves, Nezzie!" |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Sailor Van Zandt First Year | Inez was momentarily lost in the conversation. She was too distracted by the music, trying to figure out if she knew this song. Her finger moved up and down and then she finally jumped up. "Oooo! I LOVE this song!" she confrimed.
She nodded excitedly to the request and grabbed Boos rists and started jumping around, completely off beat, and moving her hips back and forth. As she started to wave her arms around she looked like a complete lunatic, but she was having fun!
"Dance! Dance!!!" |

Feeling little water droplets on her arm, Arianna looked up. Was it raining? She said, taking a glance around her. Her eyes caught onto two girls climbing onto the fountain that was the source of the drink in her hand. You have got to be kidding me. She said, mouth open as she stared at the two. They have to be crazy! The Ravenclaw said appalled at the antics those two were up to. Although, they looked like they were having the time of their lives.
Moving out of the way so she wouldn't be splashed by what she had first thought was water, she stumbled forward, tripping over someone, since she was still too busy staring at the girls. "So-sorry." She stammered as she steadied herself to apologize to the person she probably injured with her high heels. Oh. My. God. Tristan Arianna looked at him with wide eyes. Out of all people I could have bumped into? I had to bump into Tristan? The one that scares me to no end? |

Heehee. It wasn't even expected. This girl bumping into her. He was sitting out of the way, on the fountain, and someone was stumbling over his legs with heels knocking against his feet. Maybe he shouldn't have stretched himself out?
Even still, it was too late to say maybe.
He jumped up from the fountain quickly in a way that still seemed sluggish and pulled himself to his full towering height, standing over everyone else.
"You okay?" he asked, looking down at her, dark, toussled bangs falling into his eyes. Merlin, he hoped he wouldn't have to help her up or carry he or anything. Nolan wouldn't let him live it down.

Hogwarts RPG Name: L'Wren Evans Fifth Year | "Boooo!" Kate cried, spotting a the spazz a distance away. She blew her an air kiss, "Who's that?" She mouthed with exaggeration, spotting another, blonder, erratic dancer, and pointing at the yellow-clad girl.
Stella swung her curtain of silky-brown hair around, her arms extended above her making uncannily graceful movements with her wild turning body. She was an excellent dancer, years of rigid Russian ballet had ensured her musicality and poise, but the ease and electricity of everything from parties to runways brought out a much more captivating Stella than the practiced ballerina, however beautiful and skilled. She slowed a bit, grasping Kate's arm, which was pointing over to Boo. She spotted the girl as well, but with an ecstatic cry, found someone more familiar. James grinned as he spotted Stella, up to her usual, with Kate, dancing on the fountain, bottle in hand. He moved arrogantly through the crowd, giving Boo a wordless noogie on his way to the barefooted "it-girl".

"I-I'm fine." She said breathless as she straightened herself, wobbling on her heels. Pain etched her face slightly. She hoped that no one noticed this entire incident. The last thing she wanted was sympathy from complete strangers about how she was a total klutz and couldn't watch where she was going.
Biting on her lower lip gently, trying to ignore the fire that burned in her left foot, she looked up at Tristan. Even with her impossibly high heels on, he still towered over her. "I'm sorry." She apologized again. "Are you ok?" Worry flashed in her face. What if she had hurt him?
Arianna didn't know if she could live with the girls that would glare at her down the hall if she had hurt their Tristan.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Sailor Van Zandt First Year | Quentin was still sitting over with Nolan. He was perfectly fine as long as he could stay that way. No one dragging him in the middle of the large, and some, obnoxious, group of students.
He had been glancing over at the two girls on the fountain, watching them with a slightly raised eyebrow. And right under them was the thankfully unmissed scene of some girl tripping right into Tristan's lap. Quentin snorted a laugh as he saw the look on his face. Priceless.
If she were hurt or something he may even have to thank Inez for dragging him along to the party! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Dake Juke Sixth Year | Yuki had to admit that she was very bored. She loved her brother dearly, he was everything to her. They would eventually tend to the shrine together with whoever he married. It was doubtful she would. A Priestess could of course marry and fall in love, but generally, the women in the Yamashita family were kept from such things.
Though, her father and mother both felt that she would be easy to marry off, thanks to her beauty and her blue eyes, she wasn't sure if they would or not.
She didn't mind so much, though. She wasn't a romantic; she wasn't concerned with such silly things. Human beings were fickle and because of this, love was a come and go feeling, much like all things felt by humans. Love was absolute and pure, but humans were not and thus, she didn't care to be left as a pure Priestess.
What she did want, however, was friendship. Her brother was her best friend, but he was also her brother and she wanted someone who wouldn't always be biast in her favour, someone who wouldn't always be there physically... She wanted a simple friend. "Big Brother, I'm going to... look around, alright?" she asked, looking at him with her blue eyes.
He merely glanced at her. He waited, sighed and nodded. "Very well."
She grinned and leaned up, as he was a half inch taller than her and kissed his cheek. "Thank you." she said and walked away from her brother.
She walked slowly, her kimono keeping her stride from being to long. She spotted a few people some from her House and some that she recognized from her year, her classes. She saw the two boys from earlier, one dancing energetically, the other glowering somewhat.
She shook her head and sighed. Sometimes people were so... difficult. She missed Japan so much at times like this. It was simple. She and her brother were home schooled and their extra studies prepared them for things that non-magical people would never believe.
There was a girl right by her, talking to a boy. She'd fallen and he was comforting her. She stood, pondering how best to make friends. Kimihiro watched his sister from across the group of dancers. He saw her eyes wander to the two boys from earlier and his eyes turned cold.
He knew that look all too well. She wanted to fix things; she wanted to learn why they treated people the way they did; she wanted to get to know those boys, make them her friends. She wanted to learn from them and have them learn from her. The life lessons every soul needed... she saw them in every person she met.
She would see thier earlier meeting as... inevitablity. It was not coincidence, she would say.
He would have to watch those two closely. He recognized Edge from his House. A year younge and a bit of a loner and definitely with an attitude.
He didn't know the other one. He was sure the American and Edge were in the same year. He'd seen them talking years previous. The American was in Gryffindor, his sister's House. He wouldn't be able to watch him there.
His daily check ups on Yuki would have to become more frequent then. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: November {Noe} Franze First Year | Brain Twin | MASTAH ASHURRII | Reisdent PokeNerd | Digifangirl Nodding, Tristan glanced over her once more. She seemed fine enough, he decided, with releif. At least she could stand. Call him callous or cold, but he wasn't especially fond of taking care of people. Boo, sure, but Boo was an entirely different story. Mozzie usually went to Nolan or someone else if she needed to be cheered up. There were very, very few people who were able to get through to Tristan. Obviously, tending to a stranger was not on his list of priorities.
"Long as you're okay," he told her, gruffly, before taking his seat on the fountain again. Even sitting he was still close to her height. He wasn't sure if his tall height was a curse or not. "Just... y'know... watch where you're going, okay?"
Not everyone is as nice as me when you run into them. Over with Quentin, Nolan chuckled.
"It's always him," he said, a proud grin on his face. Tristan was good at stealing the fangirls away. "Ahhh... what would we do without our good, self-sacrificing buddy Tristan?" He laughed again, stretching.
Such a loving group they were. Over with Boo and Inez, hips were still wiggling and Boo still dancing horribly. Not that she minded - who cared how you danced as long as you were having fun, right?
A sudden noogie came over her and she laughed, pulling her head, knowing full well it was James. Turning, she waved to James though he probably didn't see it on his way towards his friends.
Her head whipped around as someone called out to her and she found Kate and Stella, still on the fountain, as Tristan was sitting back down. Had the spilled on him?
Reading their lips, she grinned.
"Her name's Inez! She's freaking fantastic!"
Or did they mean the boys?

Such a loving group they were. Relief swept through her when he nodded, signalling that he was fine. Thank god. She thought to herself. Shuffling slightly to the left to make the appearance that she didn't want to linger and talk to Tristan, she stopped when she heard him speak. Flushing slightly at his advice, she nodded quickly. "Thanks." Arianna said and turned, grimacing as her left ankle protested. I really hope there's no cider or any kind of liquid on the floor. She said, scanning the floor in front of her. Or I won't be able to follow Tristan's advice even if I wanted too. Walking slowly, limping, she decided that maybe it was time for her to call it a night.

Hogwarts RPG Name: L'Wren Evans Fifth Year | James side-stepped Tristan and his, er, scene, and a wild slosh of cider, as he neared Stella and Kate. "I can see your knickers," he said to Kate, smirking. Stella laughed, and bent to kiss James on the cheek. "Be a doll and help me off," Stella said and was promptly lifted off the fountain, bottle still in hand, though tipping dangerously near to Tristan. "Fabulous!" shouted Kate over the music, giving Boo an exaggerated wink, and nearly toppling off the edge. Those shoes were giving her more bother than boost. In a split second she had them off her feet and sailing from a good toss into the deep water of the fountain. It was more like Stella to abandon beautiful $700 Jimmy Choos on top of a fountain ledge, but Kate had her moments. "Cannot," she said to James and held jumped from the side, possibly giving a few others a good look at her knickers.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Sailor Van Zandt First Year | "Well of course," Quentin agreed, smirking again. "It's Murphy's Law. And probably one of the best sources of entertainment..." Sarcastic, but at the same time overall true. "And I just don't think we'd be any where. We'd be butt flattened.." he said dryly, though the corners of his mouth tightening into a teasing half smile. Inez was completely oblivious to everything going on for a while there as she danced around and attempted to sing along wiht the songs. All completely off toon. But it was all good fun, yeah?
She finally let herself stop, wondering who Boo was talking to. "Oh that's me!" she stated, grinning. She glanced around for a moment before giving up and just waving in any direction. That would suffice! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: November {Noe} Franze First Year | Brain Twin | MASTAH ASHURRII | Reisdent PokeNerd | Digifangirl OoC: To all who still wish to join, just post a bio and join in. Soo... apparently Mellie didn't want to party. Hmph. Mozzie hard hardly the time to prod adn poke at her though. If she wished and preferred to sit with a book while everyone danced around had fun, then so be it. She wouldn't sacrifice her fun for the girl. So, waving a toodle-loo to the girl, noting the guy who stood off in the distance who had been watching them, she skipped off, flouncing about, back towards Quentin, Nolan and Tristan.
Boo, she saw, was off with Inez, dancing with some boy she didn't recognize. Grinning despite herself, Mozzie shook her head. Only Boo could manage it.
"Hi, hi! What happened here?" Not far from them was something spilled on the ground. One brow arched, she cast the boys with an inquiring look, that only turned towards further confusion when Nolan responded with a snigger.
"Oh, come on, let's dance," she crooned, feeling the need to make up for time. Where Boo had the erratic rhythm and seemed to know nothing of beat, Mozzie was a good dancer, despite her klutziness otherwise. Arms curled above her head, she shimmied around to the rhythm feeling her body follow suit. It was fluid and graceful and dancing was probably the only time one would see Mozzie as such. "Why can't you be more dainty like that?" Nolan muttered, more to himself, turning a smile up at the corners of his lips. Then, out of sneaky curiosity, he glanced out the corner of his eyes to peak at Quentin and gauge his reaction. Those two acted oblivious, but Nolan watched people a lot and picked up on little things. Such as the way Mozzie always hovered near Quentin or the sarcastic jokes Quentin made concerning the girl.
Yes... he was sure they'd deny it if asked but something hovered between the two.
It kind of made him want to cackle.
Unable to help himself, Nolan gave Quentin a jab with his elbow. "Wouldn't you agree, mate?"

"Little sister, how are you? I see you talked to someone," he smiled and dropped a pill in her tea, knowing that she must be needing one to. Vivi nodded and smiled at her brother. "Thanks, Vinny, and yes. I gave him a wishbone, and that was it." She rolled her sparkling eyes at him before sipping her new tasting tea. "Mm this is just how I like it. Mint, chamomile, and a sweetener." She giggled and re-adjusted her daisy crown on her head, it seemed to go askew.
He smiled and asked, "Do you know where Valdor is? I don't want to have to leave this to go restrain him," Vincent sighed and looked across the mill of dancing students. Nope, not here. "Must be using his pick up lines on the girls in the dungeons." He laughed and Vivi only poked him in response. Elethea had never been one for parties and anyone could easily see that on her face as her eyes wandered through the crowd, a frown on her face. Silly humans and their silly ways of having fun. If anyone could call twirling around fun. In her opinion, it was pure waste of time, for reading and cultivating the mind was, by far, more interesting than any of this nonsense.
Still, if she had to be there, then she'd have to at least try not to be bored. Now, if only Vincent was around...
And it seemed that he was. At the sight of the figure she knew only too well, her lips twitched only the slighest. At last she was going to break free from the constant monotony of observing. At once, she started to walk towards him and his sister, her long white dress floating behind her. Once she reached the two, she planted a small smile upon her lips and bowed her head. "Good evening," she greeted the two. Roisín stretched her neck and tried to look through the many dancing couples, making one of her curls slip away from her hair bun. For as much as she turned her head and pierced everyone with her eyes, she simply didn't seem to be capable of finding that beautiful light hair and the sweetest face she had ever seen in her whole life.
Where could he have gone to?
Biting her lip, she put the curl under her ear and raised herself on her tiptoes. Could he possibly be hand in hand with some girl in the middle of the couples? That was more than possible or probable, since he was, by far, the most gentle male that Hogwarts had ever seen, so how could he not be surrounded by pretty girls?
Suddenly finding Ollie half way turned to her, the redhead flushed at once and looked away swiftly. So he had come and he wasn't alone. Hmm, she should have brought her sketchbook so as to have a reason to approach him. But that would be too awkward, right? Drawing in the middle of a party wouldn't help her to blend in at all and she doubted Ollie would like to talk about art when he could dance... But then how could she start a conversation with him?

Mellie gave a small, distant wave as Mozzie flailed off towards her friends. Finally, the Hufflepuff thought as she pulled her book back up to her face. Back to her favorite scene, the one that she'd been interrupted during just a few minutes ago. Mellie read through that entire part, until Tybalt's death.
Then the girl stopped, a teensy bit distracted again. Why she couldn't stop glancing at that boy from before, she didn't know. Was it because he was so good-looking? Or because he, like she, was standing back, away from the commotion of the party? No, Mellie was pretty sure it was because she didn't actually know who this boy was. The girl secretly prided herself on being able to put names to faces with most of the older Hogwarts students. But no matter how deep Mellie dug into her brain, this boy didn't look familiar to her.
She didn't realize that she was staring.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Dake Juke Sixth Year | Kimihiro glanced at his sister, standing by a girl who appeared to be staring in his direction. He glanced around and spotted another boy and decided that perhaps it wasn't him her attention was so focused on.
Arms cross within the sleeves of his yukata, Kimihiro stepped forward as a couple passed him and headed towards his sister. He was rather sick and tired of standing around here, watching these people. His sister wouldn't make friends now, especially with those boys from earlier still here. "Little Sister," he said to her in Japanese, "I think we should leave. You're not going to make any friends tonight, especially not after our earlier display."
His sister looked at him with her large blue eyes, a slight pout on her lips. His lip twitched into a smile. Yuki sighed. Why did her brother have to be so anti-social. He had absolutely no friends besides her and it worried her. "Big Brother, please," she asked. He shook his head and she sighed. Of course he wouldn't change his mind this time. He held out his hand, his yukata sleeve sliding back a bit and she grasped his hand, her own kimono sleeve also sliding down a bit.
She was actually rather surprised that no one had actually noticed her or her brother. It wasn't everyday you saw people in ceremonial clothing from the East, at least not in Scotland you didn't.
The two made their way slowly through the crowd, Yuki's eyes wandering back and forth, while her brother's were focused straight ahead. |
